First things first: Service professional Mustapha(?) was fantastic. He really worked his butt off, which resulted in a minor fall that evening. He also had the attitude of a true, trained waiter. Hats off to him, Efendim! The ambiance... Well... It might be a matter of taste. It's not exactly modern. A bit plush... late 70s style. And then there's the table size. With all due respect and complete understanding that a couple is seated at a table for two, I get annoyed every time a table turns out to be a "kids' table." Two plates and one glass each. That's it. However, if you order salads and side dishes, what should have been a pleasant evening ends in a fight for the last square centimeter. And the fight is lost. It's simply annoying! Constant shuffling. Irritating. The noise level in the restaurant is still acceptable. That was a positive point. Conversation across the table is still possible. A rarity these days. So, no train station atmosphere. Even though the place was packed. Unfortunately, the rib-eye was a huge disappointment. The underside was a hidden black. No fat cap. Sinewy and anything but the tender, typical rib-eye. Cooked to medium/medium-rare. Now, that's subjective, and the center was still pink, but in my opinion, the meat was simply of inferior quality. I know rib-eyes that don't even require a knife. A fork cut is enough. That's not meant to be a benchmark, but if a serrated knife struggles, then the meat quality and preparation are simply not up to par. Once again, I didn't complain. You always think it was just a small piece and the next cut will be better. It wasn't. And after turning it over, it was clear where the bitter, burnt aftertaste came from. With this experience, the price is far too high. I saw our evening as a small donation and support for Christina. Best of luck to her.

Blockhaus Düsseldorf at Karlsplatz is a very nice steakhouse where you can eat well. My colleague had the steak and salad which was very good and cooked to perfection. My burger was okay but you can see some spice in the patty. The staff is extremely nice, friendly, accommodating and very fast.

We went as a group of four. The waiters were very nice and prompt. Everything from the soups to the salads was excellent. The carpaccio and tartare were excellent. The meats were cooked perfectly, just as we ordered. We were truly delighted with everything about the meal. We chose creme caramel for dessert, and it was also above average; you can come with peace of mind.

If you're looking for steak or tenderloin, definitely go; it's absolutely delicious. My wife and I loved it. When you order meat, it comes with a salad on a separate plate. You don't need to order one separately.

We had reserved a table for seven people. We were greeted immediately at the door and shown to our seats. Drinks arrived five minutes after we were shown to our seats. The steaks were as we ordered, with excellent side dishes. There was also a great red wine, and for our birthday, they even served Prosecco on the house. Highly recommended! Block House is a true German phenomenon, and we wanted to give it a try. The welcome was extremely friendly, and we were seated immediately on the spacious terrace. Our order was taken quickly, and the wait for drinks was equally short. The food was truly excellent. This is definitely one of the best steaks we've ever tried. The combination of service and food definitely made it a success for us. We'd love to come back, and it's highly recommended.

The service was excellent. The staff was helpful and polite. I'd especially like to thank Mustafa Bey. He is a pleasant and a knowledgeable person. My daughter was happy with her order. She said the medium rare meat was juicy and tender, just as it should be. I didn't eat anything; I had a cold drink. The atmosphere was nice. The only problem was the red umbrellas, which were a bit of an eyesore. Otherwise, it's a very successful establishment.

My husband crazy with their steak. Price keep going up every year. But whenever to Germany, he need to go to Block House. And 1 more things, PET ALLOWED INSIDE. It's really nice because sometimes outside cold and we want to seat inside for warmer. We bring our dog.

The steak skewer for the main course was cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful—exactly what you'd hope for in a steakhouse. Unfortunately, the positive dining experience was marred by the service. Our waitress seemed unmotivated and barely present, even though there were only a few tables occupied. Even upon first contact—bringing our drinks—she seemed rather irritated. Shortly afterward, she asked directly if we had already made our choice, even though we had just received the menu. After that, she disappeared, so we had to ask another waiter to take our order. In contrast, this waiter was very friendly and attentive—you could clearly feel the difference in their commitment. The waitress brought our food later, but after the main course, she placed a dessert menu on the table rather silently—without further inquiry or return. We would have liked to order something else, but she was simply nowhere to be seen. We also had to wait an unusually long time for the bill. In total, we paid just under 80 euros – and although we usually like to tip generously, the service in this case was the opposite of worthy. We tipped 2 euros, more out of politeness. For this price, we expect not only good food, but also appropriate service. Conclusion: The food was very good, but the service was unfortunately disappointing. If you come just for the food, you probably won't be disappointed. But if you also value hospitality, you should expect to be lucky with the staff.

We used to be big fans. Now it's just terrible. The food was lukewarm, the potatoes were kept warm for far too long, and the bread wasn't fresh either. This is the second time it's been this bad. We won't let it happen a third time; we'd rather not waste our money.

The food was delicious. I tried the T-bone steak and Goulash. I asked for the T-bone to be cooked very well and it came exactly as I wanted. They served salad and baked potatoes with sauce as the main course. The salad was very good. The meal was very filling, I forced myself to finish it 😅 They only served the soda open, I guess I should have specifically stated that I wanted a can or bottle. You won't regret it if you try it.

The way they handled this is really great. The staff was super helpful and an ambulance was quickly called. Really very well done. Fortunately, I recovered quickly and there was nothing wrong. I didn't finish the desert completely, but I will definitely do it again!
