I had a wonderful stay here! I felt not just a guest here, but a friend of the house. The service orientation and warmth of the employees is far above average and left a lasting impression on me during my visit today! The team works great together, every guest is treated so politely - I rarely experience something like that! Even though I was alone, I felt like I was at home with good friends. The quality of the food - as we know at Block House - is definitely worth 5 stars! My steak was prepared exactly how I wanted, fries and salad were perfect, as were the starter and my drinks just right. I'm looking forward to coming back!

Ate here with my best friend, I haven't had such a delicious meal in a long time, wow, compliments to the chef and the servers, how hard these people work, the restaurant was full of 3 to 4 people who were just running and everything was still complete. under control! I came during my holidays during the Euro in June two evenings in a row. Very warm welcome, the dishes were delicious. Very good address if I ever come back to Dusseldorf.

I had a pleasant visit to this steakhouse! The restaurant was clean and we had the pleasure of sitting outside, which was really pleasant on a lovely lunchtime. The staff was very friendly and responded to our wishes. The steak wasn't the best I had in Düsseldorf, but it was still totally sufficient and well prepared. All in all a nice place for a relaxed lunch. I'd love to come back!

I often go to Block-House and am always happy with the meat. Therefore a visit during a short stay in Düsseldorf. The goose season opened today in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the chef probably still needs to practice a bit. First, the "crispy goose" according to the menu was not crispy. Then a little too burnt, as you can see in the photos.

I have eaten from Block House in many different cities. You get the same taste. Very successful.

Staff nice and accommodating. The salads are always fresh and appetizing. The steaks were grilled really delicious. For dessert, Giovanni now serves ice cream, which is of very high quality. For a ball that deserves the name, and in a restaurant at a price of €2, you can't complain. That alone would give me 6 stars. Please keep it up and stay as you are. Kind regards, Siegfried Gollatz

Food and service depend heavily on the respective shift. As with all branches, the furnishings are a bit outdated. It's a shame because there's potential for more.

We got lost in Düsseldorf. We actually wanted to go to the block house near the Rhine and ended up at the train station. Man good!! Super clean and quiet. Great service and very tasty food.

Very expensive for little meat. The dog bones that are served here should not normally count towards the weight of the meat! Service was unfriendly after I asked why there was an empty bone on my plate.

The three of us spontaneously went to the restaurant on Friday evening. Even though it was really full, the nice young gentleman at reception organized a table for us. Within 10 minutes we had the menu and drinks. My steak was cooked just right, the side dishes were good and the waitress even brought extra sour cream for the baked potato without asking. Salad fresh and crunchy. Garlic bread is also very tasty. Even though it was really full and loud (it was the REHA trade fair in Düsseldorf and there were some people with special needs in the restaurant), all the service staff were nice, friendly and in a good mood. Price-performance ratio is right.

As in every Block House we have been to so far, super nice and fast service, delicious food and with a parking garage right around the corner, very easy to reach for inner city conditions. We always like to come by for a good steak!

We were there on Saturday afternoon with 5 people. We wanted to enjoy the wait for my grandson (who enjoyed the Deutsche Bahn) with a drink. We were also allowed to sit down and order the drinks. When they came and we didn't order any food, Prudence was kindly informed that you have to say something like that in advance, as only guests with food orders are welcome here. All I can hear is the catering industry complaining that no guests are coming. It doesn't surprise me anymore. I'm thinking about whether I should still visit restaurants.

The rudest waiter in Germany I was shocked when the waiter, before handing me the card terminal, asked if I could give a small tip. I nodded in confusion (I thought a little was a few euros) and he entered the tip amount, hiding the terminal from my eyes. The amount was far too much for Germany. To be honest, very unpleasant. I think such rude people should not tip at all. I hope he is now happy with his forceful way of getting tips. I will never come to this place again because of such attitude. Btw waiters in Germany paid well

I went there for the onion soup! It was delicious! And salad was also very fresh and delicious! In terms of hygiene I didn't notice anything, everything was great! The staff was very nice and quick because I have to get to the train quickly🚄

At first I was skeptical because of the main station location. But the Blockhouse is set back a bit, has a nice terrace and since it is right next to the Federal Police building, you feel safe there even in the evenings. The food (Mrs. Rumpsteak) was excellent. We haven't eaten such a good, juicy steak in a long time. You can't do that at home. The service was very courteous and friendly. Ms. Raushan served us together with a second service person. There was a handwritten greeting on the bill, perhaps a phrase that every guest receives, but we still thought it was a very personal and beautiful gesture that brightened our evening. The prices are reasonable for the quality. It was our wedding anniversary - and we didn't regret being here. Gladly again at any time!

⚠️Warning! Food poisoning A few days ago I was in this restaurant and at first we received a friendly welcome. However, the waiter was very pushy and asked several times to try the mushroom sauce. So we took the steak and the sauce. I then had vomiting and intestinal problems that lasted overnight. The mushrooms tasted rotten and had a strange smell! The toilets were very unhygienic. We wanted to have a nice vacation in Düsseldorf. The restaurant should be closed due to poor hygiene! What a disgrace. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone!

Food is nothing special. I find the location next to the main station practical. Rooms ok and clean. Service ok. It was only great because of the nice table companions.

We went for soup and it was a salty broth with no ingredients. However, I saw other dishes well served on the tables next to me, I think it was just a wrong choice. Nice place and good service.

Please avoid this block house… Medium steak stolen and see pictures of what came... The waiter wanted to bring new steak but the big boss from this block house came and wanted to make me look wicked🫣 I bet and left immediately... As far as a good restaurant, the portion of my dish in relation to the price was sobering. We sat outside on a sunny, somewhat windy day, without a parasol, and it was a bit annoying that small flowers from the tree next to the restaurant kept falling onto the table and thus into the drinks and food. Still very good food but maybe not if you're really hungry.

The big advantage of the Block House chain is that you know exactly what you are getting, whether you are in Hamburg, Hannover, Berlin or Düsseldorf. An excellent steak, so no, vegans, this is not a place for you, with good accompaniments. Otherwise very good here in Düsseldorf, friendly.

A perfect place for a meal after the long day at the trade fair. The avocado tartare was something different. The steak was cooked just right and the fries were crispy. Very attentive staff. Thank you and gladly again

It's all summed up in three words: noisy, messy and international. Let me explain: the place is trying to make money and provides service after service, so the place is constantly full and poorly soundproofed, therefore very noisy. The cuisine is nothing exceptional, the plates are made to be eaten, not to be enjoyed, we are closer to the canteen than to the culinary experience. A large city and proximity to the train station, the place is filled with people from all over the world so much so that the welcome is in English and not in German. And chery on the cake, in Germany, in Düsseldorf, not even any great beer on tap!

Ambiance was great, everything coordinated with the somewhat rustic, the dimmed lights and the country music. Service top very friendly accommodating 5 stars. The food was really delicious! We had a rump steak, it was medium rare as I requested, the salad and bread were just great! Also the New York Cheese Burger, especially with the fries and the cole slaw. My friend had to order the cole slaw again because it was so delicious. It was a great experience, thank you for that!

Meat was great, fried precisely. Service there is a lot of room for improvement When no SPOONS were added to the baked potato, we politely asked if they could give us the spoons. The waiter pointed to the additional sauce pots that had spoons in them, good 2 spoons for 3 people We waited in vain for the third spoonful. I enjoyed a relaxing dinner in the Block House. The service overall was excellent and the food very delicious. I ordered a nicely prepared T- bone steak and potato with a Caesar salad and most enjoyable Red wine.

They all lumped together, even though we were always nice. Great steak good price but was told when paying they expect tips then didn’t have change when I offered to pay cash. Ended up paying and extra 10€ for what would have otherwise been a great experience but ruined because they thought I was American. (Male waiter)

Ich war während der Bootsmesse dort. Das Restaurant war komplett belegt. Die Geräuschkulisse war sehr hoch. Das Essen war wie gewohnt gut. Der Service aufgrund der vielen Besucher eher mäßig, man hatte den Eindruck abgefertigt zu werden. Der Kellner vergaß den Salat völlig. Übrigens nicht zum ersten Mal. Da ich die Block House Filialen gerne besuche, sehe darüber hinweg und freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal.

Wir sind auf einem Kurztrip in Düsseldorf und da unser Hotel direkt am Bahnhof liegt,sind wir zum Abendessen ins BLOCK HOUSE gegangen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und auch ohne Reservierung haben wir gleich einen Platz für zwei Personen bekommen. Die Bestellung wurde super schnell aufgenommen und auch das Essen wurde dann ohne lange Wartezeit serviert. Der Service war super freundlich,immer im Hintergrund aber gleich zur Stelle wenn etwas leer war. Mein Rumpsteak war perfekt,dass kleinere meiner Frau leider etwas zu durch ( medium bestellt ) Dennoch haben beide sehr lecker geschmeckt. Auch der Salat und die Folienkartoffel war sehr lecker. Preislich sicher angepasst an die MwSt.- Erhöhung ,dennoch für die Qualität meiner Meinung nicht zu teuer ( wir sind Preise aus dem Dreiländereck D/F/CH gewohnt ) Wenn wir wieder mal in Düsseldorf sind werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder vorbeischauen 😋

There twice over a few days recently. Fabulous food. Salad is so fresh, and and steaks were great. Getxthere early weekends. Had to wait 45 mins for a table. But worth it. Unsure if you can pre book a table

Ein Mittelgroßes Resteraunt, warm und gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr freundliches Personal und das Gericht war sehr geschmackvoll. Die Preise sind gehoben aufgrund der aktuellen Mehrwertsteuererhöhung und weiterer Teuerungssituation.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant kann man gut Essen

Ein tolles Steakhaus! Tolle Fleischqualität, auf den Punkt gegart, knackige Beilagen, sehr freundlicher, schneller Service. Heimliches Highlight für mich: Die belgische Waffel mit heißen Kirschen. Ein phantastischer Anend, wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Leider hatte ich eine enttäuschende Erfahrung im Block House in Düsseldorf, da ich nicht reingelassen wurde aufgrund meiner Nationalität. Dieses Erlebnis war unangemessen und diskriminierend. Ich hoffe, dass das Management solche Vorfälle ernst nimmt und Maßnahmen ergreift, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Gäste respektvoll behandelt werden. Ich mein wir leben im Jahre 2024 und nicht im Jahre 1940. Nein ist mir nicht bekannt wieso ich nicht reingelassen wurde.

來到歐洲，吃個牛排！ 哈哈哈，每次看完歐洲人吃完台灣牛排店後那個超滿足超好吃CP值爆高的表情，讓我超害怕在歐洲吃牛排！ 來德國好多天了，這次來吃百年牛排店試試！ 結論是：店的氣氛沒有話說！就是在歐洲吃飯的那種chill ～ 濃湯有厲害要記得加購！ 蘑菇那道也要記得加購！不會後悔～ Block house 店的位置在杜塞道夫的旅客會到的地方，不知道吃什麼和吃完厲害生蠔的店之後，可以來試試歐洲的chill！

High quality beef and perfect cooking, well recommended

Zonder reservering met 5 personen hier gedineerd. We moesten best lang wachten voor een tafel, maar onze geduld werd goed beloond! Gestart met diverse drankjes en salade on the side. En toen kwamen de diverse vleesgerechten en 1 visgerecht. Het vlees van de sirloin steak was precies goed gekruid en bereid. De classic hamburgervlees was erg lekker. De kippendijen met krokant huidje en mals vlees eronder. Grote porties met goed gebakken friet of grote gepofte aardappel. We hebben in ontspannen sfeer genoten van de bediening die heel correct was. Aanrader voor degenen die in de hotels vlakbij het station logeren.

Wir haben heute spontan dieses Restaurant besucht,und es nicht bereut.Lecker gegessen und sehr freundlich bedient worden.Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt links (wenn man aus dem Hauptbahnhof rauskommt) neben der Polizeistation am HBF. Sehr leckeres Essen, Steak war genauso wie bestellt (medium). Lava cake war auch sehr lecker! Service war gut. Ich empfehle rechtzeitig zu reservieren, damit man einen Platz bekommt.

Came for lunch and dinner on the same day. Had 2 diffrent steaks, my girlfriend had chicken and vegetables + steak dish. Realy like this place. Great food, friendly staff and nice ambiance. Would recommend and will definitely be back here again next year when I inevitably end up in Düsseldorf again somehow.
