A great place for food, but also just for drinks~

Since I came to Düsseldorf, I wanted to eat Korean food because there was a Korean market there, and I came here after receiving a recommendation. I really missed Korean food made with kimchi, and the kimchi nabe udon was a great choice!! Next time, I want to try the braised short ribs with kimchi. The 4th anniversary Cass was also very delicious. Next time I come to Düsseldorf, I definitely want to come back!!

The best place for Korean food and drinks!

This is definitely the place to go for Korean food in Düsseldorf! Authentic and incredibly good! You can also eat and drink here in the evenings. Highly recommended!

Very tasty, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, almost every dish contains pork, even though Korea has so many special dishes to offer – perhaps that will change soon.

Friendly service and a major plus: hot food is still available even after midnight. However, the chicken was heavily breaded, and the food could have been a bit more seasoned overall.

Delicious Korean dishes, suitable for sharing.

A nice experience for a korean tapas bar with a lot of options to choose from. Unfortunately the food is lacking in flavor as well as quality. The korean fried chicken was saucy but greasy, meat in itself was of average quality, not very tender. The pieces were normal sized, not too big not too small. The fish cake soup was underwhelming. The broth has a nice flavor but the ingredients were bland and didn’t stand out at all. The drinks were nice but can be quite pricey. People who are looking to drink soju can get a lot cheaper stuff at the local korean convenience store in the area. Other than that this place has a nice atmosphere to it and can be very packed on busy days so be prepared to take a reservation!

The Korean chicken wings were the best until they changed them to chicken drumsticks. They don't give the same flavor as the wings! Please change the drumsticks back to wings; you had the best wings! Your store is much better with wings than with drumsticks!

Unfortunately, this isn't authentic Korean cuisine. You never see that in Korea—hair on fried chicken—because they deep-fry the chicken properly, but not here. You can definitely tell if you can hold onto fried chicken for less than 10 minutes after ordering it. Unfortunately, never again.

Absolutely cool place, the food was excellent. The portions are really large and there's a huge selection. The interior is nicely decorated, and the wait isn't long.

The quality of the food is always delicious. The big downside is unfortunately the very high prices and sometimes the portions are really small. I can especially recommend the kimchi cream risotto and the rose tteokbokki for their taste. The service is also very friendly and the atmosphere with Kpop music in the background is very relaxing. Unfortunately, as mentioned before, the portion size of the kimchi cream risotto is very small and the price-performance ratio is really poor. Another negative thing I have to say is that almost all of the dishes contain meat, so 99% of the menu is unfortunately not suitable for vegetarians/vegans. You can of course order the dishes without meat, but even then there isn't much choice. The soju mix drinks are quite tasty but nothing special for the price.

Amazing Shabu Shabu and mixed drinks. Came here by myself on a Saturday night because I was on a work trip. Everyone was having a good time in small and large groups. I got seated at the bar and had such a nice time. Highly recommended, as it’s open late!!

Guys, it's way too expensive. Luckily the new Soju Bar has opened. If you're not Asian you won't be treated well at sulBam! And who is the strange woman with the little dog? Her behavior is unbearable. Besides, dogs have no place there.

The food is way too expensive for what it is. Felt like I was eating instant noodles from the Asian market that had been spiced up a little with egg and cheese. At most 6€ but never 13€… The rice was also hard and not the best.. Chicken was relatively tasty. Were very disappointed after the visit, there is better for less money.

We always really enjoy staying at Sulbam. The food is really tasty, the service is very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere invites you to linger. Unfortunately, the card reader recently caused problems and when it was used twice, it was charged twice. We were assured that we would get the money back within a week at the latest. After a week nothing, so we called once and were again put off for another week. After another week still nothing and we are told to wait another week. I don't know if this is a scam, but I really don't understand what's so difficult about transferring the money back. It's a shame, we really enjoyed staying at Sulbam, but after this experience we won't be coming back. :(

The food at Sulbam is delicious, but the prices are just too high. The service varies - sometimes the employees are friendly, sometimes not. Overall not a bad restaurant, but for the price there are better alternatives.

We wanted to eat something around 10:30 p.m. and found this place that was open until 2 a.m. So we went straight there. The shop was well stocked and there were still two free tables. The waitress didn't want to give us this because the customers who had reserved for 10 p.m. didn't show up and wanted to come by later. I found that completely outrageous. If people don't make the reservation on time, my understanding is that the next customers should be given the opportunity. Despite this miserable service, we didn't have great expectations for the food, so we ordered take-away. However, I have to say that the food was very satisfactory in contrast to the service. Since the service here was absolutely terrible, there are only two stars.

We had the Seukseok Tteokbokki with Ramyun, which was tasty and filling. The place is nicely decorated, but the music was a bit too loud. This made it difficult to have a conversation. Prices are higher. Service was friendly.

I found a hair in the food I received through delivery. The hygiene is absolutely terrible. Thankfully, I got a full refund through Uber, but I’ll never order from this restaurant again.

The food was tasteless, oily and absolutely disappointing. We order the whole fried chicken and it was soaked in oil, no other flavor but being greasy. The fish cake soup was 22e with some slices of fish cake slices and balls that you can get from frozen area in asian stores. Drinks were nothing special for 8e. Never go back and not recommend

A nice place to eat and drink. I can absolutely recommend it. Great atmosphere with Korean background music. Price performance for Düsseldorf is top. I can recommend almost everything on the menu. I was usually there from 6 p.m. onwards, but as far as I know you can also have some dishes delivered.

I went in late like 1045 pm. was able to find food which was a relief. Taste was good but less options for vegetarian and people who only eat chicken meat

Cool restaurant with late opening hours and into the night. Food was OK. We had the chicken wings. Service was a bit slow and it took a long time for the tables to be cleared. ATTENTION: PAYMENT WITH AMEX NO LONGER POSSIBLE. I recommend indicating the change on the homepage and in front of the restaurant.

Great Korean food and restaurant! Always drive 50km to Düsseldorf to eat at Sulbam. Anyone who loves spicy food will find the right place there.

A Korean friend approved this store as one of the best in the city of Düsseldorf. When I was there with her once, everything was right 5/5, service top, prices fair, taste top notch. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case at all on the second visit without you. Service was really bad, my friend basically waited tables by carrying stuff away and had to actively approach the waiters every time, and button pressing was hardly responded to. Unfortunately, the chicken was only a 3/5 on the second visit.

Loved the place- it’s a little noisy but has a great vibe (we came at midnight and the kitchen was still open) Recommended: kimchi rice, enoki salad and sundubu soup. Taste is 10/10 authentic, portions are big however it doesn’t affect quality.

Superb Róse tteokboki and fried chicken. Soju cocktail on the expensive side but was ok. The atmosphere is definitely for party goers and friendly hangout with moderately loud kpop music. Place is airconditioned as well.

Damn those fried chicken and kimchi rice are fire!!! So delicious and tasty. I missed spicy food and Sulbam knew the assignment. I love how crispy and savory the fried chicken was. It was not greasy and not oily. They fried it all too well. Love it! The kimchi rice is best to pair with the chicken. We also ordered tteokbokki and it is yummy. I ordered the calamansi highball and it was so refreshing. My partner ordered the melona highball which was also great. I will definitely come back. One of the best korean food I tried in Düsseldorf. They accept cards here. ✨

A great place to hang out with friends while enjoying some decent quality Korean food. Fried chicken was crispy but lack of flavour, could have marinated for longer time or used more spices.

Teobokki was forgettable. Nothing was right there. Korean fried chicken was too sweet and kind of boring. The service wasn't that friendly and €0.50 for Togo packaging was rude.

The kimchi stew with back ribs is delicious. But it's a shame that the rice isn't tasty.

Very generous portions and well-seasoned dishes. The Hähnchenmagen stir fry and fried chicken were great, chicken mayo deopbab was mediocre, as the scrambled-egg tasted like paper carton eggs, not fresh eggs (correct me if I am wrong). Food came fast despite full house, and the price-portion ratio was great (we ordered five main dishes + drinks and paid 110 euros). Therefore I would revisit. The ventilation can improve, as it was very hot during summer days, and it reduces the appetite and worsens the mood.

It's just a Korean restaurant. It's not Korean food, it's really steamy Korean food, so if you're craving Korean food in Dussel, I definitely recommend it!

A great mix of bar and restaurant. The cuisine is very good, every dish is served hot and freshly prepared. Little tip: If the menu says it's spicy, then it is! 😂💞 The drinks are also great, especially the soju creations. The opening time until 2 a.m. is great, it was full until the last minute. Surrounding bars close at midnight or 1. We'd love to come back.
