Some people may enjoy preparing meals as a customer. I prefer to leave it to the professionals. It costs a lot, after all. But it tastes good 😅

Unfortunately, my meat was very stringy, which meant that the otherwise excellent quality was compromised. The restaurant was only moderately busy, but the service still seemed overwhelmed. Otherwise, the restaurant's concept is very successful.

We had dinner there with my son a few days ago. It was early and there were only a few guests in the hall. Changing service staff, the main courses being served much too quickly - I had only just received my aperitif, disappointing quality of meat (Argentine rum steaks), the side dishes being served very late after several attempts to order - we were already finished long ago. Disappointing.

Best steak ever! The steak is served on a hot stone, so everyone can decide how far through they want their steak. Very friendly service!

I recently went to the Düsseldorf branch of Abacco's with a friend - and unfortunately it was an experience that I won't soon forget. After eating (!) a live mouse suddenly ran straight towards me. I was so shocked that I reflexively jumped on the chair. But what made the situation even worse was that neither the waiter nor the manager present showed any reaction. No regrets, no apologies, no indication that it would be taken care of. The mouse was obviously nothing new to the staff. In a restaurant in this price range (€80 for two people) such hygienic conditions are absolutely unacceptable. The thought that this animal might also be moving in the kitchen kept me awake all night. I've actually been a loyal guest at the Cologne branch - I've always been very satisfied there. But after this experience I honestly wonder what it looks like behind the scenes - in Düsseldorf and in Cologne. The food and service were good, but unfortunately this experience ruined everything. I really hope that this review is taken seriously and management acts accordingly. Unfortunately they didn't respond to my email.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Abacco’s Steakhouse in Düsseldorf! The food was delicious, and I especially loved the concept of serving the steak on a hot stone. It kept the meat sizzling hot and fresh, and allowed me to decide the exact doneness I wanted. Even better, when the stone cooled down, the staff kindly replaced it without hesitation—excellent service! The fries were also amazing—crispy, flavorful, and a perfect side to the steak. Highly recommended!

Looking for a STEAKHOUSE? Then you've come to the right place. Great atmosphere with really comfortable leather armchairs. The food was great, the portions are completely sufficient. All I can say about the steaks. Perfect ! The side dish variations that are offered are completely sufficient and top. I also had a house wine on the recommendation of the waitress. The balancing act between steak and meat was exactly right. It was a Swiss red wine that went perfectly with my dish. A small drawback. The waiter who brought us the food was new and didn't know his way around, but he was very nice and made it all go away. At the end I had an espresso which balanced the whole thing very well. For 4 people we spent a total of just over €250. Even if it's a bit expensive, it's worth a visit.

The group was generally satisfied with the food. Unfortunately, the service was a bit overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the clearing took a bit of a long time. No blame, but at this price everything should be fine. There were probably not enough service staff there.

We were there this evening and wanted to have a nice evening. Table was reserved. I can't say anything negative about the food at all. The meat is great, the side dishes were also great. What we didn't like at all was the speed. It took about 10 minutes from the time we sat down until the food came. My husband had just gotten his drink and the food was already there. That doesn't actually work. I don't want to be served such good and expensive food like in a fast food restaurant.

The staff and food were a 10/10. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that there is a mouse running around in the restaurant. We couldn't enjoy the evening with my girlfriend anymore and got up immediately.

This was our fourth or fifth time at Abacos in Düsseldorf. The meat is generally of good quality, we had a weaker visit once, but generally we were always happy with the food. What we have found particularly positive so far is the opportunity to order desserts - a nice extra that should actually enhance the visit. But unfortunately yesterday evening was disappointing for us. The service completely brought the overall impression down. It was clearly noticeable that contact with us at the table was deliberately avoided. It almost seemed as if guests were being deliberately discouraged from ordering additional side dishes (free of charge) - even though that is exactly what is being aggressively advertised. We felt really excluded. We would have liked to order two cocktails, another drink and two desserts, but to be honest, at some point we didn't feel like it anymore because the behavior of the staff was so obvious. You could just tell what the problem was - probably stinginess, maybe instructions from above, but as a guest it made you feel unwanted. It seems like the staff has changed significantly since our last visit. At that time there was a very dedicated waiter who was friendly, attentive and professional - unfortunately there is nothing left of that at the moment. Overall, yesterday's service seemed completely lackluster. When she was at the table, she tried to pull herself together for a moment, but that was a far cry from the service we were used to. Conclusion: The food was good as usual, but the service ruined the whole evening. We don't want to be treated like that - and under these circumstances we wouldn't come back again.

We started the JGA celebration at Abacco's with a cozy JGA group of nine people and gained strength through excellent Argentinian meat. Thanks to Mr. Müller's excellent service, we had a sociable and homely atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of eating at this outstanding steak restaurant. It was truly a pleasure from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, providing the perfect setting for a great dinner. The highlight of the evening, however, was the service that we enjoyed from Mr. Müller. Not only was he incredibly attentive and friendly, but also very competent when it came to choosing the steaks. He took the time to advise us carefully and ensured that we had everything to our liking. The steak itself was perfectly cooked – juicy, tender and with a fantastic grilled flavor. Every bite was a delight. The side dishes were also fresh and tasted excellent. A big compliment to Mr. Müller, who made the evening a special experience with his professionalism and charm. We'll definitely be back!

Had dinner there today and have to say that we have rarely received such kind and competent advice. Our waiter Omar is really great and really made our visit today special.

So unfortunately my meat was totally inedible and for dessert there was spray cream from a can. The cellars are friendly, but forgot to bring us the drink three times. Unbelievable! The prices here are not justified at all.. real failure, not recommended.

It was really just great, the service was friendly, approachable and quick, we were looked after by Gigi, all in all just great service and a super friendly waiter.

Positive aspects: -The food was nice, specially the fries! Also the desserts! -the wine was really nice Aspects to improve: -the aircondition/ventilation system does a lot of noise and it is annoying if you are just below. -our main dish took 45’ to arrive (which we understand bc is fresh food) but we got the main plate but not the fork and knife. There were a few problems with our dining experience. The manager blamed the shortage of staff, this however does not explain an unacceptable joint of meat being sent out by the chef. I checked the reviews to see how these complaints are handled and was surprised to see that no one from the restaurant is responding to negative reviews. It therefore becomes apparent to me that average service, food and atmosphere is acceptable as long as a nice slice of profit is made. I would recommend avoiding the restaurant, there are better experiences and quality of food to be had elsewhere.

Steak was very good. Hot stone is very practical. Delicious sauces. It's a shame that the house-made potato fries taste absolutely terrible and are unfortunately never freshly made. The same with the Kaiserschmarrn. Customers are lured with free fries, but at the same time every sauce is charged extremely expensively. A small bowl of herb butter costs 4 euros, for example. Every regular steakhouse adds herb butter to the steak for free. We were simply brought two bowls of herb butter (without asking). That brought us to eight euros just for the herb butter. But wait, the fries were free... In the end it was also not possible to take any leftover food with us. Also very annoying. So paid for food had to be thrown away again. Sneaky system based on deceiving the guest. I would much rather recommend any other steakhouse. For example, you can walk a few hundred meters further at the main station to Blockhouse. The quality of the meat is much better and there are no sauce rip-offs.

Disappointing experience - mediocre food, advice with room for improvement We recently ate at Abacco Steakhouse and unfortunately we weren't impressed by the overall visit. The quality of the food - especially the meat - was below our expectations. It was neither particularly tender nor outstanding in taste. For a restaurant that specializes in steaks, we would have expected much more. Other steak restaurants have convinced us much more in this regard. In our opinion, there is also room for improvement when it comes to advice: everyone at the table was recommended their own portion of herb butter, even though a single portion would have been completely sufficient. A short, honest note would have been enough - you can reorder at any time. Instead, this resulted in avoidable waste. Especially: The rest of the food was not allowed to be taken with you - even paid extras such as herb butter. Especially in this day and age, that doesn't seem particularly hospitable or sustainable. Conclusion: For us, the overall package wasn't right - mediocre food, poorly thought-out advice and unnecessary waste. There are definitely better alternatives.

Outstanding steakhouse! Had a very nice evening with five people and a comprehensive meal. Starters and desserts were okay, but the steaks with side dishes were fantastic. Great praise also goes to the cheerful waiter, who was not only quick and attentive but also very entertaining. Happy to come back!

I really have to say, come over when Ibrahim (Ibo) is there. A very unusual and humorous way that every restaurant visits. Can only recommend it! We will come again, thanks to Ibo

The service was absolutely abysmal. At first, the requested allergen menu couldn't be found, but this was only explained after repeated requests. There were nine of us there and we had asked for ONE menu in English, whereupon we received a total of two menus. Upon request, more menus were reluctantly brought out, all in English, even though we communicated with the lady in German. Our order wasn't taken until 40 minutes after we arrived at the (essentially empty) restaurant, and we had to repeat our order several times because the waitress couldn't seem to get it right. We had to ask for the bill several times, and only after a very stern request from us did the waitress stop clearing tables and bring the bill. This really isn't acceptable...

Yes, absolutely. The concept of grilling meat yourself on stone slabs is unique. Great experience. Tastes heavenly good.

Good afternoon! My wife and I visited this restaurant—the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, we encountered an unpleasant incident with our wine order. We chose MALBEC RIQUISIMO, M. LORCA for €19.90, pointed to the exact item on the menu to make sure there was no confusion. I’m not a wine expert, so I usually go for the most affordable option after checking reviews on Vivino. When the wine arrived, it was poured through a strainer into a decanter, and the empty bottle was immediately taken away. After finishing our meal, we asked for the bill, paid it, and left a 10% tip. Then we requested a detailed receipt—only to discover that we had been charged for MALBEC RESERVE RIQUISIMO, M. LORCA at €35.90. This felt like an intentional switch, especially since we noticed the same thing happening at a nearby table. When I asked the waiter how this could have happened, he simply ignored me and focused on serving other guests. Not wanting to ruin the evening for ourselves or others, we decided to leave. However, the disappointment outweighed the enjoyment of the visit.

The meat and the side dishes were very tasty, and the hot stone means you can choose the cooking time of the meat yourself. Unfortunately, the wrong food was brought, which meant that one person had to wait a while. A small concession like a free drink would have been nice. The table right at the exit from the kitchen isn't that great. It's pretty busy and loud. Otherwise a very great evening, we will definitely be back.

Top Notch New Zealand Beef Filet. Very attractive concept with 2 stone slabs on the table. Side dishes, service and open wine OK. Ambience very pleasant. However, what really spoiled the evening for me at the end was the fact that they charged 3.50 euros per bowl for herb butter, without any mention of it. A blatant robbery baron with a filet for 50 euros. An innocuous question from the waiter: Did you also have herb butter? Without further information, there is method in my opinion. The complaint was acknowledged with a shrug of the shoulders and referred to the card. Well, I cut the tip by 7 euros to the waiter. But the anger remained. The fillet and the set up are fully recommended. Update: great service today - top sirloin steak for lunch. I like to avoid herb butter

However, my almost €60 tenderloin (200g) with grilled vegetables was the disappointment of the year in terms of taste. As usual, the food was good in the Abacco's steakhouses (Bonn, Augsburg etc.). However, for the first time we had to wait an unusually long time in the store. The staff was very friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. When we got home we realized we had paid the bill from another table. The displeasure of the other guests was also noticeable during the meal.

The food was good. Can't complain. Unfortunately, when it comes to service, it's a failure. We waited 20 minutes for a coke until we said we wanted to pay and the coke was no longer necessary. We had to contact 3 employees for the bill. At first we were told it would be forwarded. The waitress was rude, disrespectful and loud - just a shame for the restaurant industry! We ordered a house salad – and what does it do? A damn Caesar salad! When I pointed this out to her, she didn't even have the decency to apologize. Instead, all I got was a bold “That’s just the way it is!” Are you crazy?! When I said that a Caesar salad usually contains chicken, the answer came with an incredible arrogance: “If you want chicken, you have to order it separately!” I have never experienced such impudence! This “restaurant” is not a restaurant, but a circus full of disrespect! And the best thing at last: This rude woman had the audacity to expect a tip at the end! This is just ridiculous! I recommend that you stop letting this “waitress” take orders and instead tie her to the entrance like a rabid chain dog! Then she would at least have a task that corresponds to her nature. I am ashamed of the restaurant owner who employs people like this. An absolute nightmare! Never again!

Best steak I’ve ever had in Düsseldorf!

Disappointing service at Abacco’s Steakhouse Unfortunately, our visit to Abacco’s Steakhouse was not as pleasant as we had hoped. Our waiter, Mo, was extremely unsympathetic and unfriendly. Instead of a warm welcome, we received annoyed looks and eye rolls for no reason. This made the whole atmosphere unpleasant and we didn't feel welcome at all. The food was okay, but Mo's service unfortunately spoiled the overall impression. What a shame! We will think carefully about whether we come back again in the future.

-Reception was great! -Atmosphere is very nice! -Food, basically very good! -No parking space and poor parking options. -Disapproved foods are replaced immediately, within minutes. (Unfortunately, you won't be served anymore after that and the staff will only give you contemptuous looks.) -Staff unfortunately very dissatisfied and no service anymore after complaint. We got a 400g hip that was completely solid and ice cold, it had a wide gray edge and the middle looked like it had been cured. We tried it with two people and we both decided that it was so inedible. Especially at the price. Then we complained about the piece and the waiter passed it on and then a lady came who wanted to know what was going on. We then showed her another steak for comparison and also referred again to the ice-cold skirt steak. At this point I would like to say that I was friendly and said everything in a reasonable tone without letting the incident dampen our spirits. After a few tries and comparisons, we were able to persuade them to swap the steak. She left and after 2-4 minutes a nice young man came with a new hip that was perfect but from that point on we were no longer served. When I ended up canceling my drink, which I didn't get after ordering, the bar lady was loudly upset about it. But I didn't see the point when I already had to pay around €170 for a drink that I didn't get. Were there often, it was always nice, that's why there are so many stars, but today was a very unpleasant visit and the last.

It was super tasty, everything tasted fantastic. It's a bit pricey, but that's something to be expected when you go to a steakhouse. The idea of ​​a hot stone on which you can grill your own steak is a cool idea! You can order the side dishes once and then have them refilled again and again. There were four of us here and we were able to share different side dishes. That was very nice 😊 I would definitely recommend it!

Great atmosphere. It does get too busy and too loud. The concept is good. You get your meal with a very Hot stone and you control how well you like your steak. The side dish you pay one time and after you get as much refilled you like. French fries are always included with the main dish.

We were regulars because we love the food - we went about every 2/3 weeks. In any case, you should always check your receipt - a lot of waiters try to rip you off here - for up to €30 - we have experienced this more than once. Additionally, this restaurant lost two of its highest paying customers today. Background: As we often do, we walked past it on a Sunday evening. There was a new MA who placed the customers. Two customers in front of us (also not reserved and clearly German looking) got a table straight away. We were sent away with the remark: “Nothing free, only back in an hour” (two southern citizens probably noticed). We left. We then discovered online that you could reserve for exactly the time we had. About 5 minutes later we called under the name Maier to ask if we could come over now. This was possible without any problems. We made our anger clear to the MA on the phone. He talked his way out of it - the kitchen was overloaded etc. and it would be back in half an hour. Whether we will pass again is currently questionable.

Were there yesterday and the experience was really underground. Plates only arrived lukewarm, steak was full of tendons and not at all edible. Personally when we arrived the staff where it welcoming as well as bar staff. Whether it’s a racial thing or not they did not tend to us and I’ve never experienced such hostility but our Waiter was very polite and friendly I wish I had his name so I could praise him 🙌🏾

Full enthusiasm! The meat is of the best quality, we had beef fillet, which is served briefly grilled on the hot stone and you cook it yourself - the way you prefer! The side dishes are also delicious and you can e.g. B. Order as many fries or salad as you want free of charge. Caro's service was perfect, courteous and competent!!! We felt very comfortable in the great atmosphere! Unfortunately we have only been to this great restaurant/steakhouse now, but we now come more often and are already looking forward to the next time!

Have eaten twice now. The meat was very good twice. Unfortunately, the warm side dishes were only lukewarm/cold twice (House fries, sweet potato fries and mouse butts). As if these were already placed on the cold "plates" by the kitchen and then at some point by the service to the guests. This doesn't seem to be an exception. Meat good side dishes cold unfortunately.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Sweet potato fries were out. The 200g fillet was also sold out. The service then tried to persuade us to take the 300g fillet. The potato gratin was more of a potato sour cream flatbread that was just under the roaster. The fries were cold. After we pointed this out, we were given new fries after less than 2 minutes. Never spent so much money on such bad food. You notice the mass processing.

At first you were pressured to order, even though not everyone was there yet and this was clearly communicated. We waited over 20 minutes for our dessert, after we mentioned it it finally came. The worst thing at the end was when we paid, we had 3 desserts, it was on the menu for €22.90, when we paid he hadn't booked the offer and even after we pointed it out to him, he said he couldn't do anything about it and that it was our fault because we didn't point it out to him. In the end we had to pay the original price and also give him a tip. If it hadn't been for the waiter, it would have been a really nice evening.

Excellent steak, very fast & courteous service

The food itself was very tasty, but the fries were already lukewarm when they were served. The service seemed very overwhelmed with the store being relatively full (which is probably normal on a Friday evening). What was unusual for us was that we ordered a side dish, but after 20-25 minutes it still wasn't served. When we asked the waitress that we no longer wanted the side dish, she just said that there was a lot going on and that she couldn't do anything about it. For the price you pay, this shouldn't really happen, even if there is a lot going on. The ambience is okay, but it is so loud that you can hardly understand the person you are talking to. Overall, we are disappointed and were hoping for a little more from an evening for a good €150.

We spontaneously decided to redeem our bon bon vouchers here this afternoon (Friday) and reserved a table for the evening. When we arrived we were quickly and friendly taken to our table, which was already ready even though we had been there a good 10 minutes earlier and the restaurant was extremely full. The wonderful lady who accompanied us throughout the evening, served us and explained everything, was extremely polite, attentive and deeply relaxed for the amount of work she had to do (she had a lot of tables). The concept of the meal is extremely clever because everyone gets their food at the same time and can enjoy it exactly how they want. I also had a potato gratin as a side dish and I have to say I am absolutely thrilled. Both the meat and side dishes were absolutely on point. For dessert there was the crème brûlée, which was also a success. My husband and I can only give a clear recommendation to try it yourself. Keep it up

The best steak Ive had in Germany

The food was really very good. We were a group of 12 people and everyone was satisfied. Despite the heavy traffic, the service was really great. And the atmosphere... it wasn't too bad either, there was a terrible noise, definitely too loud for me. It was difficult to even talk to each other at the table.

Alex was very friendly and extremely attentive. Asks directly whether it tastes good and is generally interested in the well-being. The food was very tasty. A second stone is almost mandatory. Argentinian entrecote (medium 400g) and US prime sirloin steak (small 200g) are highly recommended. If the ventilation were a little stronger it would be great.

The steak itself was simply a pleasure and the fries could definitely be better. The sauces, especially the barbecue sauce, are mega! But it's a shame to use the sauce for the good meat. The ambience and service were good, but I have rarely eaten such a bad steak. It was very tough and way too thick, more of a lump of meat rather than a steak. In general, I find this principle that you basically get the steak raw and then fry it yourself on a hot stone really bad and annoying instead of just frying the steak medium rare in the kitchen like I wanted...

After waiting an hour for food, we were asked quite briskly after two hours to clear the table and leave, even though some of us hadn't even finished the desserts yet. There were 6 of us and we would have liked to have a drink and another dessert. But we were denied. But the food was delicious and the service was really nice.

We had hoped for more. There is no relationship between price and performance. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat was disproportionate.

Good afternoon everyone, we were in this very nice and very tasty steakhouse on Saturday January 26th, 2025, the food was terrific, very tasty, good selection and good portions. But what needs to be highlighted separately was the service person (Klara), a really very nice and courteous person. We can only recommend Abaccos Steakhouse Düsseldorf. 5 out of 5 stars.

My colleague Ronald and I recently had dinner here again during Boot 2025. Prices are high, but the meat is excellent. Just like last year, Clara served us very friendly and enthusiastically at the table. She really made our evening special.

We ate here for New Year's Eve, the steak was simply great and the service was warm. I like coming here, the atmosphere is unique and, in my opinion, very cozy.

Our visit left a strange feeling.. everything was very tasty, the dishes were served without question, but... after finishing the meal we asked for payment.. a cheerful African woman with a card reader sat down with us and cheerfully offered to choose the tip amount.. carelessly moving the terminal for payment. in our direction.. we didn’t drink so much with a friend that we didn’t look at the numbers on the display.. the amount. The Fanta was very tasty and so was the potato gratin! The rump steak didn't taste bad, nor was it particularly good, but unfortunately I received a piece that was covered with extremely strong fascia and tendons, which I felt like I had a piece of material in my mouth after chewing for a long time almost after every bite, which was absolutely impossible to chew is. Although I only had a small piece of steak (200g), the plate was no longer hot enough to cook the last pieces. The service in the art room where we sat was very friendly and accommodating, but it was very busy and either the waiter or the chef forgot about us, so we only got our steaks after 55 minutes. The decor is very dark, very cozy and looks a bit classy, ​​but the huge room is so full (on a Thursday evening) and there are no acoustic ceilings or anything sound-absorbing, so the noise level is very loud, like in a bazaar. After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes, we were happy to get out of the noise and into the silence of the big city.

The idea with the hot stone is really great. This means everyone can cook their meat to the perfect cooking point. We were there on a Tuesday evening and it was really, really crowded. Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we had to wait at the entrance because the bar was also full. Due to the high volume, the service naturally had difficulties keeping up with the orders. Quite unusual for a Tuesday, but of course it shows how popular the store is. Apart from the little things, the dishes, drinks and the price/performance ratio were completely fine.
