The food was delicious! It was quite expensive, but they offered different meats for various price ranges. The service was very friendly and quick, even though it was busy. The atmosphere was lovely. It's well-suited for business lunches or special occasions. I wouldn't recommend it for children.

Our food and drink order was taken quickly and efficiently. However, it was nearly impossible to get a waiter to help us with anything else we wanted to order. Then it took an extremely long time for the items to arrive. We were asked three times if we could clear the table, even though the items we had ordered in the meantime hadn't even been brought. The evening was stressful and unpleasant.

Fantastic steak (US Prime), great side dishes that you can order as many times as you like for free: what more could you want?! "Only" 4 points for the ambiance, as the ventilation could be a bit better. All in all, a clear recommendation!

We went there with a group on a recommendation and knew nothing about the restaurant's concept. The waiter was barely audible because of the noise. It was dark, and we had to use our phone flashlights just to read the menu. The food arrived very quickly. No one explained how to use the hot stone, etc., as we ended up overcooking all our expensive steaks. The entire restaurant reeked. Afterwards, we smelled like we'd slept in a chip shop for seven days. What we didn't understand was why we were supposed to cook our chicken breast fillets on the stone ourselves. It would have been nice if they had simply arrived cooked and perfectly prepared. Instead, we had to use our cutlery to cut into the raw chicken, and then use the same cutlery to eat the side dishes. Given the poor lighting, it was already difficult to even see what we were cooking. When I order an expensive steak, I expect it to be perfectly cooked... the meat is basically fried in thin slices, and in the end, you barely get to enjoy the steak... and the concept is more like raclette. And having the smell in my hair and clothes afterward was really unpleasant. I definitely wouldn't wear expensive coats or winter jackets there... Not recommended if you're not into this kind of experiential dining.

By far the best steakhouse we've ever visited. The ambiance is very chic, the waiter is incredibly friendly, attentive, and the service is very quick. The steak is served on a hot lava plate, and you can cook it to your liking – world-class. Highly recommended!!!

The quality of Abacco Düsseldorf today was poor. The restaurant manager was very unfriendly. Steaks were already unavailable by 4:30 pm, and ordering spinach took a very long time and it was cold when it arrived...very disappointing. Given the high price, one would expect better.

On Wednesday evening, October 29th, I went to the restaurant with my family to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday. There were four of us, and we received a lovely welcome. Unfortunately, a service cloth was still lying on the table we were shown to, and the table hadn't been wiped. After we ordered, the drinks arrived promptly. The food also arrived in good time, but when the food was served, a drink was spilled on my brother-in-law and his phone by the waiter or, in our opinion, a manager (black shirt, male, bald). While this isn't a huge problem in itself, as these things happen, I don't think this is a sufficient excuse for a restaurant like this. Firstly, he was given a cloth by the waiter and wiped the table clean himself, but secondly, his trousers were soaking wet, and his phone was sticky. All they said was, "Of course I'll bring you a new drink," which wasn't on the bill, but they could have at least come and asked, followed up, etc., because enjoying the evening with wet and sticky pants wasn't exactly pleasant. Offering compensation for cleaning or something similar would have been perfectly sufficient. Especially since you expect that in a restaurant like this. Shortly after, a waiter dropped a hot stone. It fell right in front of us and broke. I mean, these things happen, but it was simply inappropriate. We had pre-ordered a dessert with a candle on it, which we had brought for the birthday, and we told the waiter that we only wanted this dessert and shouldn't ask any further questions, as we had discussed it beforehand. This was very accommodating, as not many restaurants do that. However, the waiter still came and asked about dessert. My wife then ordered something else, and two things were brought for her: her birthday cake, which we had chosen in advance, and then the separate order. I mean, these things happen, but it had been agreed upon beforehand. You don't have to offer anything extra, and we don't expect that. We simply expect that a guest's well-being should be valued, especially since we spent a considerable amount of money. The meal itself was truly excellent! However, in our opinion, the service and the table weren't quite up to par for what was such a special evening. Sincerely,

The food was delicious! The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were great! See you soon! What happened? We were looking forward to a nice dinner, but we were a bit disappointed. The waiter who took our order was great! But his shift was over, and the waiter who was there at the time wasn't really interested. We weren't asked if we wanted dessert, and only when we were paying did he ask if everything was to our liking. He also walked around with a look on his face as if he wasn't enjoying himself at all. This was a real disappointment.

Patrick is a genius in his field

Let me put it this way: The food was really delicious, and the service at the table was attentive, friendly, and helpful – kudos to the team! Unfortunately, a restaurant visit begins the moment you walk in, and that's where I was disappointed. The gentleman at reception, or rather, the one who seated the guests, was very unpleasant, unfriendly, and seemed completely unenthusiastic. No smile, no greeting – that made me feel unwelcome from the very start. Luckily, the rest of the team turned things around and, with their friendly manner, ensured a pleasant evening. Nevertheless, it's worth remembering: First impressions count – and that's something that can be improved.

Good service, fast and uncomplicated

The service was attentive and fast. However, it was loud, crowded, and the smell was very unpleasant. The meat was of okay quality, but not worth the price. I wouldn't eat there again or recommend it. Unfortunately, there are simply better and more comfortable steakhouses.

Today was our first (but definitely not our last) visit to Abaccos Steakhouse in Düsseldorf. The ambiance is very nice, and you receive a warm welcome at the front desk, making you feel right at home. The meal was an experience in itself, as you prepare your own meat at your table on a hot plate. We'd never tried that before, but it was truly a wonderful experience. Our waitress (Clara) guided us through the entire evening with courtesy and friendliness. A huge compliment to her; I've rarely been served so well anywhere. We'll definitely be back.

I have tried quite a few places in Düsseldorf now, but nothing compares to this experience. At first I didn't know what I was getting into, but this turned out to be the highlight of the holiday. An exquisite pleasure from start to finish. The food was beyond all expectations, but beyond that the service itself was something I have rarely encountered. I have been in the restaurant business for 15 years. We are a group of 8 guys who have been in Düsseldorf for 3 days and have received substandard service at restaurants and the hotel, but here at Abaccos we have ultimately had the best food and far beyond expectations received exemplary service from our waiter, Clara! A waiter who sees the details, looks her guests in the eye and goes the extra mile for her guests. If I (if she moves to Denmark I would have hired her) had the opportunity, I would 100% have given her a raise and/or more responsibility! Thank you Clara! Your boss must be proud!

I don't know if it's normal to wait an hour for two rump steaks and the waiters walk past you 30 times and ask why you haven't got any food. I've been going there for 4 years but from today onwards I'll never go back.

Today we were treated to super friendly staff in a centrally located, top-class restaurant. Kevin was our waiter, super professional. Compliments to the kitchen as well. A feast for all the senses ~

It is a pleasure, I have not had such good food in a long time, great service and the staff are really great, especially Patrick Müller, super fast, friendly, always polite, fun for everyone, with the right waiter the enjoyment really comes.

If you want to enjoy a cozy meal with friends or family, then I highly recommend this steakhouse! Why do I recommend it, you might ask? 1. A very nice, cozy atmosphere, no matter the weather. You can always enjoy a comfortable meal there, whether inside or outside on the terrace, you decide. 2. Not only do you get super delicious food, but also a really friendly and humorous service from Patrick. He's not just a waiter; he chats lovingly with customers and even makes a few jokes here and there. Whether it's young or old, people always leave this steakhouse with a good smile. You can really tell that he does his job with all his heart and loves it. It's not just his job, but also his hobby. 3. Children are always welcome, no matter how big or small ☺️ Yes, even children are greeted with a really sweet welcome and served with superb care. So, if you want to have a nice, relaxed meal whatever the weather, I recommend this superb steakhouse. Parking is also readily available and the connection is very good if you're traveling by bus or train. I always tip well ☺️😊 A good mood and good vibe deserve to be rewarded 🌞

Every time we come to Düsseldorf (which is about twice a year), we always go to Abacco Steakhouse, it’s simply the best in town! It’s close to our hotel, (leonardo) and si close to the koningsallee( the shopping street) so we can just walk there, no need to take the car. The food is always super delicious, we eat red meat almost every day, because we are meat lovers and Abacco never disappoints! What we appreciate a lot is the excellent service too! Every time we visit, the staff is great, and today was no exception. This time, our waitress Clara took care of us, and she was amazing, her English was perfect ( we don’t speak German) and her service was truly top-notch. It was so good that we really noticed it and even told eachother (my husband and I) about it. She’s a very, very good waitress, and I’ve been a waitress to and worked in the restaurant business myself for over a decade. Definitely five stars on everything! 👍 And of course, when we come back in a few months, we’ll be back here again as always! And we will tell friends and family about this place/service too.

Disastrous service. While you're ordering, the waiter starts a conversation with another waiter, and things are constantly forgotten. Extremely rude, from the waiter to the receptionist. You feel completely unwelcome, more like you're being processed in bulk... The steak was good, but that was it, first and last time!

The food tastes really good, but I find it outrageous that they don't properly inform guests and then suddenly tell them the kitchen is closed and they can't order anything anymore. Conclusion: Weird staff

POOR MANAGEMENT ETHICS. The food was very good and the service was good; however, since the restaurant was full of people, the management decided to say to the customers that there was no more small steaks, making you order the most expensive steaks but when the food arrives you have two small steaks instead of the big one. Clearly not an ethical practice

It's more show than substance. Five of us went there for a steak dinner. The concept is that you're served a very briefly grilled piece of meat on a 400-degree hot stone, which you then cook yourself to the desired degree. Not a bad idea in principle. Five minutes after ordering, the first steak arrived. However, the restaurant noticed that this steak had probably been delivered to us by the wrong person and took it back to be thrown away. We were lost for words. Soon, someone came to the table and explained that all Argentinian steaks were sold out. Two of us had ordered Argentinian steaks (our order was accepted) and had to switch to US Prime Steaks. These were, of course, more expensive, and we had to pay for the restaurant's mistake with a more expensive piece of meat. When the steaks finally arrived, two of us had only finger-thick slices of meat (I wouldn't call them steaks) on this hot plate. Absolutely disappointing for 40 euros. After 2 minutes, I had to take it down because it would have been inedible otherwise. It cooled quickly on the cold stone and wasn't enjoyable. The grilled vegetables as a side dish are more like boiled vegetables and not recommended. Somewhat unfriendly service rounded off the overall picture. Apparently, they had a guilty conscience, and the five of us were allowed to choose one (one!!!) dessert to share. That was more of a slapstick thing. Conclusion: once and never again

We spent a wonderful evening at Abaccos Steakhouse with excellent steak and delicious sauces! I think the concept of only paying for the sauces once and then being able to reorder as often as you like is a great unique selling point. We will definitely be back.

They serve the meat on hot stones, a different concept, supposedly you can adjust the degree of doneness you want, it is not possible if you want medium well or well done, because the stone is not strong enough, the presentation is very good, the salads are good, the desserts are ok, the service is ok, the waiters are not very attentive, they are cold types.

Less than average food. The place smells so bad you’d have to wash all of your clothes after going here. Service is probably the worst in Dusseldorf, prepare to wait half an hour even for your check. Not recommended at all.

The atmosphere and food were good. My friend and I were really surprised. But the service was weird. They didn’t clean the table properly, like they didn’t really know what to do. We ordered 2 king of stakes. They were pretty good, but vegetables- cold and without taste. I would not to recommend them. And meet, I liked the idea of small grill on the table, so you can decide which stake you want to eat, but the mane thing of stake houses, that everyone do everything for you, so you can just drink delicious wine and have a rest. Because after this, my clothes smelled awful, like it was me who was at the kitchen. They also tried to cheat us on the price. My friend paid without asking for the bill, and I think they overcharged us by €20. After that, we had a few more glasses of wine, and I personally asked for the bill, which showed a price of €30, which was incorrect. I said that we hadn't drunk that much, and that one glass of wine was unnecessary, as we had only asked to try it. In the end, the bill came to €21. This was clearly a scam, and I don't think the waiter "made a mistake," as he confidently insisted on the price. So, the place is nice- but you need some changes.

Nice evening, but also very expensive and... Well, when you walk in, you can already see the smoke in the air. The ambiance is quite good. The food is also quite good. The service, however, is verbally very pushy and loud-mouthed. Furthermore, everything is quite stuffy, hectic, and loud. You shouldn't dress too warmly either, because it's hot everywhere. The food comes quite quickly. But they don't serve you the amazing steak you'd expect; they serve you a thick, triangular lump of meat. A steak looks different! The sauces are good, and so are the fries. But as soon as you get your food, drinks are technically ignored or forgotten. Conclusion: The steaks I prepare at home are definitely better than those at Abacco's! The quality of the meat doesn't match the price. Afterwards, you notice that all your clothes and you stink. Even my bag stinks to high heaven, even days later. I don't think I'd want to go there again!

The service was very warm and courteous. Unfortunately, we had a bit of a commotion in the hallway next to the bar. It was very cramped and noisy. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the evening and would love to come back.

Today we ate here for my son's 19th birthday. We were so happy and excited, and the atmosphere was fantastic, that we didn't take any photos. We were there around 2 p.m. The lunch special is fantastic. It's worth the price. It wasn't crowded, and the service was excellent. Very tasty, so worth it. We had the Argentinian sirloin steak, Argentinian filet with house fries (free), and in addition to the excellent sauces (free), we had the truffle butter, herb butter, and onion sauce. We also had the sweet potato fries. What's really great is that you can reorder the free items in unlimited quantities. We didn't manage to do that. Great wines. Great atmosphere. We were able to enjoy the time, the food, and the drinks to the fullest. Thank you 🫶❤️ Parking is easy at Edeka, €3 an hour. It's definitely worth checking out. You should allow about 1 to 3 hours for the restaurant visit. Depending on the occasion.

I can only say positive things about Abacco's Steakhouse in Düsseldorf. No problems with the reservation for over 50 people - great service, the food came super quickly and was very, very tasty, despite the large number of people. Four of us went to Abacco Steakhouse to try something new – unfortunately, it was a very disappointing visit, with the food being the only positive aspect. Service & Attitude: Upon arrival, we were neither greeted nor welcomed in a friendly manner. Instead, we were immediately asked for drinks – barely a minute after sitting down. The drinks arrived very quickly, but immediately afterward, they wanted to serve us our food, even though we hadn't even had a chance to browse the menu. We had to ask several times for a moment, as the server kept asking very intrusively at short intervals (2-3 minutes). Ordering & Advice: We all wanted to order the flank steak, but it wasn't available (fair, since it was listed on the menu). When we looked for alternatives, however, the service was overwhelmed. When we simply asked what Café de Paris butter was, we received the answer: "I don't know, something with caviar or something." – which is simply wrong and rather embarrassing. The waiter also couldn't give us a single sensible recommendation regarding the meat. Food: The steak itself was really delicious and of high quality – nothing to complain about. However, the grilled vegetables were cold, and my Café de Paris butter was simply forgotten. Language Barrier & Professionalism: One server barely understood German, which made communication considerably more difficult. This is questionable for an upscale steakhouse, to say the least. In general, there was a complete lack of professional service. For example, when we decided to have a cappuccino outside, the waiter commented, "But don't run away!" – a completely inappropriate remark. Cappuccino & Aftermath: The cappuccinos took 10-15 minutes to arrive. When they were finally served, coffee sloshed over the cups, leaving the saucers in a puddle. The waiter also dropped a cappuccino, which splashed our shoes and clothes. The whole thing became even more unpleasant when he started taking off his shoe and sock next to us (!). We only got an ashtray after directly asking for it – coupled with the waiter's "humorous" reply that we could just throw the cigarettes on the floor, as the place would be cleaned up in a day or two anyway. Billing: Of course, I didn't want to pay for the forgotten Café de Paris butter, which I had also mentioned beforehand. Nevertheless, it was on the bill. After some discussion, the waiter finally slapped me a 5-euro note – pointing out that he would have to pay it out of his tip jar. Extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Conclusion: The food was really good, but the service overshadowed the entire evening – from intrusiveness to lack of competence to disrespectful remarks. Even after all that, we still tipped, but this was definitely our first and last visit. For a restaurant in this price range, I expect professionalism, friendliness, and competent advice – none of which was present here.

I've eaten at Abacco's Steakhouse several times now and have been absolutely thrilled every time. From the moment you arrive, you receive a very warm welcome and immediately feel at home. The food is truly outstanding; the steaks are perfectly prepared, of the highest quality, and simply a delight. The prices are also completely reasonable for what you get. I would also like to particularly highlight the entire team: All the employees are incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous. You can tell that service and hospitality are a top priority here. Doesn't taste bad service never again

The three of us ate at Abacco today. We forgot our appetizer, the U.S. Prime Steak was not the best quality. We weren't warned that it might splatter...my brother-in-law messed up his whole shirt. When we asked about the forgotten appetizer, they didn't even give us a shot on the house.
