I visited the steakhouse twice and had mixed experiences. My first visit was surprisingly good. It wasn't busy at lunchtime, and the free re-ordering of side dishes is a great service. I also enjoyed grilling myself and it made the meal a special experience. However, on my second visit in the evening, for which we had made a reservation, things were a little more strenuous. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and we had to call her more often. Unfortunately, a warm stone also arrived quite late, which resulted in us sitting there longer than planned. Overall, the first visit remains a positive memory, while the second visit shows some opportunities for improvement. I hope that next time I can have the pleasant experience as the first visit.

Had lunch at Abacco’s Steakhouse for the first time yesterday. Very friendly and competent service from Kevin. The steaks and side dishes were great and of very good quality. We will definitely come back and recommend it to others

All in all it was a rather disappointing dinner. It's not so nice to sit outside on the terrace: it's loud from the street, the guests next door are smoking or children are screaming. Overall, the staff seemed overwhelmed with the number of guests and the order of drinks, food, etc. and the distance between them was not optimal. The meat itself was more expensive than expected and the concept of everyone cooking their own meat the way they want it didn't convince me. For €75 per person I would have expected more. Edit: the new Neotaste deal is very good. The Argentinian sirloin steak was unfortunately tough and the homemade raspberry ginger lemonade is just sweet syrup.

Simply great, the meat is a delight

The service was very quick and not intrusive. As in all Abacco's, the food was great and high quality. The sauces are always amazing as are the house fries!!! (Potato gratin is also very tasty). The steaks are very tasty and low in fat. Gladly again ! It's worth it and the prawns are a feast for the taste buds. I recommend the American Apple Pie or the Kaiserschmarrn as dessert.

All in all very good. Excellent meat, great concept. I would actually only deduct half a star for the ambience because it gets very loud so that the service staff can hardly understand you. Therefore 4.

That was the best fillet I've ever eaten, the food was amazing, the service was super friendly, even though there was so much to do, we got the food and all the drinks super quickly. I deducted a star from the ambience because it is a bit noisy and cramped, but that's not really what the store can do for that. All in all it was fantastically delicious, would love to do it again.

The furnishings are a mix of rustic and modern. The service is very courteous and knows how to deal with difficult guests. Regarding the food: the meat is delicious! And in terms of price it is as it should be. Good meat also costs something. As a couple with drinks, main course and dessert you have to budget around €150, but the food is very good.

Every time I'm here and when Mr. Müller takes over the service, I automatically have a smile on my face, it's really great to see that people still have so much fun with their work!!! He served as a role model, especially for me as an employer!!!!

Failure. Didn't get the quality you're used to from Abacco's. We have been to Abaccos in Cologne twice so far and wanted to visit a different location this time. If we hadn't done that. That's exactly why we don't like going to steakhouses, because you don't always get what you pay for. The explanation for this… The reception and the disgusted looks from the receptionist were just contemptuous and condescending. True to the motto “what do you want here”! We each ordered lentil soup as a starter. The soup was only served lukewarm. Apparently it was prepared days ago. Because the lenses just make you muddy. Have already eaten the soup in Cologne and know what it tastes like. Now the Hanmer! For the main course I have 500g. Ordered US sirloin steak. What was served was anything but US beef. Everything is tough as leather. It wasn't even remotely Argentinian beef. I have already been able to eat both versions in Cologne. Everything there was buttery. So I paid 50 euros for a piece of discount beef. I criticized all of this. Unfortunately, I didn't find a sympathetic ear. Instead, they wanted to make it good by offering us dessert🤦🏻‍♂️. Ambience nice and good. But the smell👎👎. Just brutal, how it stinks there. Ventilation is very poor Therefore never again!

The meal today was wonderful - the steak is extremely tender and the preparation was something new! The steaks are fried in an English style and you receive a 300 degree hot stone on which you can further fry your steak yourself (as you would like). While the pieces are frying, you can let your steak rest on the cold stone so that it doesn't go through and become tough. Fries are included and you can always get other side dishes as a flat rate. The food is great. It is freshly prepared and the hot stones on which the meat is served are a real eye-catcher. I also like the whole concept with the side dishes and they are also tasty. I just didn't like the seating because I was sitting under a lamp that was blinding.

They know steak! We had a sirloin steak and an entrecôte with delicious fries (they're free!). There were also grilled vegetables and cucumber salad. You can reorder side dishes as often as you want. The steak comes English+ on a hot stone and you can choose the degree of doneness yourself. The quality is great. The staff is also very friendly. Were there without a reservation. Went without any problems! It was quite crowded and therefore a bit noisy. Still highly recommended.

The shop is actually nice. Unfortunately we waited 30 minutes for service before we could place our order. Another 30 minutes later we were told that the fillet was out. Unfortunately there was no agreement between management and employees. Not acceptable in my opinion. Not the right store for us.

An absolute MUST for fans of steak!!!! We also thought the way it was prepared was really great. The steak you order is briefly seared on both sides in the kitchen. Then you get it to the table on a hot stone and can then decide for yourself what level of cooking you want to eat. That is fun. The meat was really top quality. The desserts also absolutely suited our taste. And throughout the evening Kevin pampered us at the table and answered all our questions competently and with humor. Great service. However, you should reserve a table as the restaurant was very busy. However, the prices are quite high, but this is reasonable for the food. However, finding a parking space requires some patience. We'd love to come back.

It was a new experience to grill meat directly on a stone slab. In Korean barbecue restaurants they grill meat directly on charcoal, but I think this is the first time in a European restaurant. The steak was a little more expensive than other restaurants, but the quality of the meat was good and the staff was very friendly.

We went to this steakhouse on Saturday! Interesting concept but unfortunately not really easy to implement in practice, as it was difficult for me to fry the 200g fillet steak perfectly medium medium! Personally, I think that when I go to a steakhouse, it should be cooked the way you want it! It's a shame for the good piece of meat and especially for the price! Unfortunately the service was very disappointing! We had to wait 20 minutes or more until we could order and someone only came when we asked! We also waited in vain for service during or after our meal! According to the other reviews, things may look different in the restaurant! We were probably just unlucky that evening!

I would prefer not to give a star. The motto of the restaurant is quantity instead of quality. The quality of the meat is great, but enticing yourself to gorge yourself on fries and sauces doesn't speak of quality. The fries were so bad. Prepared in old fat. The meat (rump steak) is nothing special. Blunt knives and potatoes (small ones) were not clean. So overall, grade satisfactory. But not worth 4 or even 5 stars, sorry.

Overall, my visit to the Abbacos Steakhouse in Düsseldorf was very pleasant! The waitress Clara was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the experience particularly pleasant. After we ordered an entrecote (300g) and a rump steak (200g), they were served with a hot stone to finish roasting. Unfortunately we found that the quality of the steaks left a lot to be desired. The knives were completely dull and were replaced twice. When we ate it, we noticed that the meat was covered in tendons, which we then replaced. Then we realized that the hot stones were now lukewarm and were no longer suitable for frying. These were then also replaced twice more. The service tried very hard and tried to save what could be saved, for that we thank you! We cannot and will not recommend the restaurant under any circumstances.

The Abacos Steakhouse in Düsseldorf offers a solid but not outstanding experience. The meat is of decent quality, but neither exceptionally good nor bad. If you're looking for an average steak meal it might be an option, but there are certainly better alternatives in Düsseldorf for the price.

The two of us sat outside, first only one dish came, then about 5 minutes later only the second one arrived, but both without the side dishes we ordered. After we asked several times, everything was brought to us and a dessert was offered on the house, which we found on the full price invoice given to us after we ordered. The food was pretty good, which somewhat belied the exceptionally poor service experience. All in all, it probably won't get a second visit.

Abbaco Restaurant offers an excellent experience, especially for steak lovers. We sat outside on a Saturday. The hot stone steaks were very tasty and of good quality. The side dishes of grilled vegetables and salad were also good. In addition to the steak, there are three sauces that are homemade. The only drawback was that when there were only two people, the food wasn't brought to us at the same time. The concept of finishing your own steak 🥩 on a hot stone is certainly intriguing, but in practice, it falls short. The technique makes it challenging to achieve the desired level of doneness, often resulting in an undercooked or overcooked steak. For a meal priced at €60, I would prefer to have my steak expertly cooked and served. While the quality of the meat was acceptable, it did not stand out as exceptional. This might be partly due to the inconsistency in cooking that comes with the hot stone method. Wouldn’t be coming back 😬

Table reserved as always. Our seat was so dirty. It was disgusting. Sticky with different sauces and crumbly. Smeared with leftover food. After 40 minutes of waiting the waiter came and put the menus on the table. There was chaos in the service there. How can that be? 1. Waited over half an hour. 2. the table was still dirty 3. the waiter throws the menus on the dirty table However, we finally lost our appetite. Especially since we brought another guest with us. But such chaos can no longer be excused. We always drive an hour there. This time I really regretted it and we will look for another steakhouse in the future. So you have lost a regular customer and our recommendation. The owner cannot and should not skimp on staff.

They advertise it as "the best steak in the world in Dusseldorf" - I bed to differ... The meat may be of good quality, but difficult to say as they don't even cook it for you ! It comes on a hot stone, which was not hot enough to cook the rib-eye steak I ordered. I ordered my steak medium rare, but got a medium size steak that was rare to cook myself on a stone. Very expensive and not worth the hassle. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to cook your own steak... It's a shame really, as it's got really great decor for the restaurant and looks high class. Had I known beforehand that I would have to cook my own steak, I would have gone elsewhere.
