I have eaten there a few times. At one occasion I ordered chicken curry. In the bowl were it was in i found a plastic under layer. Of course I showed this to the people who work there but was not angry about it, everyone can make a mistake. Aperently the cook who works there did not like criticism. The next time I ordered something it tasted verry dirty obviously someone manipulated the food. I asked if they manipulated the food, they immediately got verry nervous. I can't proof it but I think i was, right. I stopped eating and just payed and went. That's criminal poisoning your guest after they complained finding plastic items in the food they order. I will never visit that place again. So watch yourself eating there. Don't criticise anyone there the next time it might be rat poison.

I come to Ja Viet often and love the food. However, the last few times I've noticed that the service and staff are extremely unfriendly. I don't know why—maybe they're overworked—but I get the feeling they're not in the mood. I'm not greeted in a friendly manner, and the food isn't received in a friendly manner either. Otherwise, everything is really great. The food tastes very good, and the restaurant looks nice, too. My review fluctuates between 3 and 4 stars, but I still wanted to give it 4 stars.
