Absolutely fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and always greet you with a smile, even when there are many guests. Very welcoming. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is bright and inviting.

We arrived relatively early in the evening and it wasn't very busy yet, but we still had to wait quite a while for our food, hence only 4 stars. The staff were very friendly. The food was good and as expected. Of course, as a guest here, you don't get a complimentary appetizer or a nightcap. The restaurant was also a bit too dark for my taste, and my companion had difficulty reading the menu due to his red-green colorblindness. We will go again.

The food was first-class, the service superb, and the atmosphere lovely. All in all, very nice. A place one would gladly return to.

Late Saturday afternoon, we ordered four hot meals with rice. All four people received a cold plate with lukewarm food and lukewarm rice separately. When we spoke to the waitress, she didn't want to understand what was being said, even in English, and said it was "the kitchen's fault." And that's how it stayed... The restaurant was 30% full, so there was no stress. The food itself was fine, fresh, and the quantity was OK. But lukewarm food, lukewarm rice on cold plates! is a no-go. One for the possible comments: No, we didn't order sushi platters.

The food was truly delicious, as were the drinks. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the service was quick and very friendly. Highly recommended.

We ordered a Maki menu for €28 yesterday, but were billed for a menu that cost €32. We didn't feel like arguing because none of the people spoke good German. The food itself wasn't bad.

My visit to Hoi An was an absolute culinary experience – and in the best company, too! My best friend and I were absolutely thrilled by the fresh, aromatic dishes and the loving presentation. I had the sushi platter M6 with chicken – simply outstanding! Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was also cozy and inviting. The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately a bit overwhelmed. At first, we were missing cutlery, and in the end, we had to wait quite a long time before we could pay. Despite a few minor organizational issues, we really enjoyed the evening overall – especially because of the great food. We would come back and hope that the service will be a bit smoother next time.

Great spices meet fresh ingredients. I especially recommend Vietnamese cuisine. Dishes like Pho Bo soup are very elaborate and time-consuming to cook, and the ingredients and spices aren't cheap... Don't be put off by the often high prices at Vietnamese restaurants, and give it a try; the dishes are worth the money.

The menu said it was gluten-free, but I asked for a gluten-free dish. I ate it and had terrible complaints for days afterward. Unfortunately, it's not gluten-free :/ that's just not possible!

Lunch menu for €9.90 plus €3 for the Coke. Totally okay. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the beef was a bit tough (sirloin steak?), so it didn't get a full rating. But no chef can "look inside" that. Next time I'll just have chicken. The service was very nice, but unfortunately I had to ask several times to pay. But I would gladly eat here again.

My friends surprised me yesterday for my birthday at the restaurant, and I have to say the people who work there are SO sweet. I was told they helped with the decorating and that it was totally fine with them that my friends wanted to hang two large balloons in a 24-inch shape. Then the people there at Hoi An congratulated me so lovingly. I received dessert and a gift card, even though I never would have expected that. I would highly recommend going there to everyone. We were there a few days ago. The restaurant is very inviting, with a typically Asian feel right from the entrance. It has lots of pictures of different locations in Vietnam. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious; they offer a variety of Vietnamese dishes. The homemade lemonade wasn't too sweet and was just right for a warm summer evening. We'll definitely go there again. 👍🙂

Four of us were there on Whit Monday, and unfortunately, things went wrong from the start: we only received the menu after asking about 15 minutes, and after another 10 minutes, our order was taken. The drinks arrived 20 minutes later, followed shortly after by the spring rolls as an appetizer. Now the wait began again; it seemed as if our table had been completely forgotten. No one asked for more drinks, no clearing of the dirty dishes. Only after we made ourselves known were we able to order drinks, and when we asked, the explanation for the long wait was that there were many delivery orders. It was strange that guests who had arrived after us had already received their food. Again, nothing happened, and we had already been in the restaurant for about 90 minutes. I asked again at the counter: yes, the food was coming soon. At that moment, they actually served each plate individually. The table was crowded because the dirty dishes were still there. The food itself was fine, but overwhelmed service just creates a bad impression. This is incomprehensible, as there were actually enough employees. It's a shame, because this wasn't our first time there and we'd only had good experiences up until then.

We were only in Kiel for one night. At home, this would be my favorite restaurant.

Our experience yesterday was unfortunately more than inadequate. Although we received our menus when we were assigned our table, we were only able to place our order (including drinks!) after 30 minutes; we weren't even noticed before then. Drinks arrived about 15 minutes later. We ordered two appetizers to share and three main courses. Thirty minutes later, the two appetizers and one main course arrived. After another 30 minutes, the other two main courses arrived. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat together. The bill also took a while to arrive. It was loud, very drafty, and the staff seemed stressed. With fewer tables, the inconvenience could certainly have been significantly reduced. We won't be back for a while, which is a shame.

The food was okay, but not a culinary highlight. The duck was dry, and the dish in general was quite bland (ordered €42). For starters, we had the finger food platter, which consisted mainly of sweet potato fries; €40 for four people is too much for that. The dips that came with it were delicious. The ambiance was okay, but I personally found the benches at the tables a bit too high for sitting. P.S. I'm reposting this review because 'poorer' reviews are apparently now being reported by the company for defamation. It's a shame when you could easily improve with the help of reviews.

In itself a great authentic shop, but the service is terrible. It's been very common for me to get the wrong food (especially bad for me because I have to eat gluten-free and I kept getting something with fried onions or soy sauce) and that just doesn't work. Since it happened 4-5 times I prefer to go somewhere else.

We were there without a reservation, that wasn't a problem. Everything was fantastic. Our dog was also greeted very nicely. We had the sashimi, the spring rolls and the pho soup. Everything was very tasty and visually perfect… especially the sashimi with the evaporating dry ice.

As a starter there was sushi. Very tasty and perfectly served. The main course was a wok dish and a soup. Both were very delicious. The meat was tender and not tough. Perfectly seasoned, so you don't have to do anything yourself.

Visited the restaurant yesterday with 4 people. We were quickly offered a seat of our choice, although the restaurant was only lightly attended at that time (6 p.m.). After some time, someone came and took our order. Drinks were served immediately, one drink didn't correspond to the order, they took note of this but didn't respond. Only when we asked again was a new, different drink brought because the one we actually wanted wasn't available. My dish, duck with red curry, consisted of 1/3 fresh salad, plus roasted duck on a bed of vegetables with a delicious sauce, unfortunately not spicy as originally ordered. The duck meat was ok but not of the usual good quality. Unfortunately there was a knotted thread hidden in the vegetables, probably from holding together fresh herbs, it doesn't taste that great! The complaint was acknowledged, but that was it!! During our 2-hour stay, no one showed up to ask for other drinks, for example. Everything around is a shame and disappointing.

The food was quite good but unfortunately I have to say it was average like many others. Starters were great 👍. The sushi is well presented but nothing special. Unfortunately, the fried noodles were extremely dry. I don't know if we had a bad seat or if it was just so noisy in the store in general, but it was super super loud and busy. The seats are very close together, which didn't make the overall package any better. The staff was very friendly and tried hard.

Delicious and fresh! We had both classic and modern sushi. The salmon was perfect, rice was also very good - not overflavored and squished like in many sushi places nowadays. Surprised to get this level of sushi here!

Update: I went again in August 2024 and it is still as good as it was years ago. One of my favorite restaurants in Kiel. Such amazing food!
