The food, service was very good
The cleanliness, well
Cobwebs on the wall and ceiling
The toilets were dirty shortly after the restaurant opened
There probably wasn't any cleaning there, so you should check that everything is going well while it's opening
Full evening and good atmosphere because of the street festival. When asked: What about the food that we've been waiting for for 45 minutes: the owner says: "Back off!" And that's what we did. Go somewhere else, there are other nice restaurant!
The lemonades are incredibly tasty and the menu is varied and the prices are totally fair. Under 15€ meal with a large plate and drink. I can only recommend it
Luk Yaamo has been our favorite Thai restaurant for many years. The service is very polite and nice. The food has always been excellent. You can tell and taste that everything is freshly prepared.
We were just there and were able to admire the award for the best Thai restaurant 2018 in Lower Bavaria.
Keep it up.
Addendum: After a change in staff, this previously excellent restaurant has now closed.
Absolutely excellent food, and at least at lunchtime, it's still very good value for money. Even though it's become significantly more expensive over the last two years (like almost everywhere else)!
The best and most authentic Thai restaurant in the Rhine-Main area, the quality is great and the food is always delicious. There are only 2 things to complain about: that you can't pay with your card (or digitally with GooglePay, Paypal) and that the dishes unfortunately cost a lot or the prices are quite high.
You can easily miss the small snack bar while driving past... but that's a mistake. I've been here twice now. The portion is good, it tastes good and at more than good prices. You can watch the cook working... you can tell she's having fun and that's reflected in the food... simply delicious.
Unfortunately, our visit was anything but pleasant. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the unfriendly lady behind the counter with an expression that spoke volumes. The atmosphere was actually more reminiscent of a backyard than a restaurant or snack bar, and the food, which we as Thailand connoisseurs expected, was disappointing - anything but fresh. The older lady, presumably the mother, just accompanied the whole thing with a tired grin. The Google reviews are definitely exaggerated. If you're looking for good food and friendliness, you definitely shouldn't go here. A real lesson in 'please don't do that!
The chef (Vietnamese) is really lovely and he's absolutely great at good Thai food! I love his Tofu Phad Thai 😋, but if I try something different – as I said, TOP. In addition, his Thai Gourmet is in my neighborhood - speaking of guests on the last visit: Apart from me (German) 2 Russians who have been there for ages. HH lived with girlfriends, 2 Americans and a New Zealander MULTI CULTI - like so many things. Schanze THAI GOURMET is a real asset
