Disaster! At 8:15 p.m. we called to order something, then the lady told me to hurry up, she wanted to close the shop (open until 9 p.m.) there would be a 15 minute wait... were there 5 minutes after ordering and were contacted why we got there so early... When we got home and wanted to eat delicious food... our rice dish tasted completely burnt and the rice was still somewhat hard😖 no, never again. I'd rather drive a few minutes longer into town and get a delicious meal... Tried sawasdee years ago and was dissatisfied back then, unfortunately nothing has changed... the ladies are still unfriendly, unfortunately the food is more flop than top. 👎

Update August 14th: and again it tasted great! I don't understand individual bad reviews! This snack is highly recommended. Delicious food prepared by nice ladies. Typical Thai cuisine is served here with joy. Authentic and also available in Thai spicy. Really good! I've been here many times.

I love healthy, crunchy, flavorful Thai food and am always looking for authentic restaurants. However, there is great potential for improvement here. Interior extremely uncomfortable, food so-so (fat smells rancid), if you order in Thai, you get it so spicy that hardly any Thais would eat, really hardcore (it didn't just happen once). Friendliness also leaves a lot to be desired. A pity..

Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. My red curry tasted pretty old and the chicken wasn't edible at all :(

To start with the positive: very tasty fried rice with shrimp (very generous number) and incredible curry with pork... Ordered and received authentic Thai spicy (not the so-so European spicy)... Definitely recommended! And now for the rest: the original plan was to order something to go, then we saw pictures here on Google Reviews of people who ate there and wanted to do that... When we arrived, we realized that is almost not possible. In front of the snack bar there is a table with 2 old chairs, in the snack bar by the window front there is a kind of counter with 2 mismatched and matching stools that would have been thrown away a few years ago, in the corner there is a table with 2 chairs that are just as uninviting looked... Otherwise there were 4 standing tables, the purpose of which I don't understand... Who eats a Thai curry or something similar while standing... We then decided to order to go... Prices are probably ok for one Holiday area... However, it is a snack bar and the prices could be 1-2 € lower... As mentioned, the main courses were really tasty, but it is a shame that the spring rolls are factory-made, run-of-the-mill frozen goods and the bagged ones Crab chips were no longer crispy... Conclusion: Main dishes taste very good, ambience is zero

Easy to find and with some free parking spaces. The selection and prices are good. The taste was very good. Only the missing chairs and toilet are not that great.

Fast, solid food at a very good price. The portions were large. It's nice that non-spicy dishes are also on the menu. It's not always a given. :)

Not a long wait. Delicious takeaway food. No seating and no toilets. Stop for a snack. Portion size was sufficient.

The food is great and the price is great. The two cooks are also very friendly and accommodating. Recommended!!!

The food is absolutely delicious. I always take No.16. Funny cooks who give good advice and let you try out whether you like the choice. It is always well attended. The guests are observed to be happy, satisfied and full. The snack bar is kept simple inside. Very few seating options. No toilet. But it has a parking lot, a wheelchair ramp, standing tables. And the cooks are warm and hospitable.

This is really street food! Food is awesome for the price. Fresh and delicious. Only 2 stars for the ambience as it is more of a snack bar!

The food is very plentiful and absolutely delicious. To take away, just bring tupperware bowls and then go down to the beach...

Haben Essen abgeholt. Schnelle Zubereitung, sehr leckeres Essen und auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Sehr authentisches Essen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

I cannot imagine a better meal after a long day of riding. Service was friendly and quick. Prices cheap / affordable. I got the duck with vegetables and rice. Duck was a little dry but fried deliciously crispy. Great flavours, lots of veggies and good portion size. If you have a bike get take away and eat on the lake shore.

Schnellrestaurant direkt am der Straße. Aber ehrlich gesagt ist das am See egal. Essen günstig und lecker. Darauf kommt es an!

Immer wieder lecker und sehr reichlich

Ich habe ein paar Jahre in Thailand gelebt und es gibt Vieles, was mich an dem Land beeindruckte. Ganz weit oben steht die Mentalität und die Esskultur. Beides habe ich im Thai-Imbiss Sawasdee wieder gefunden. Von der herzlichen Freundlichkeit bis hin zum authentischen Essen, freue ich mich jedes Mal, wenn ich dort bin und wieder neue leckere Gerichte aus der wechselnden Karte ausprobieren kann. Durch die Vielfalt der Zutaten hat jedes Gericht seinen eigenen touch und es ist einfach nur spannend diese Abwechslung zu kosten. Wenn du mal authentisches Thai-Essen genießen möchtest, kann ich dir das Sawasdee wärmstens empfehlen. Ich fühle mich immer für einen kurzen moment, als wäre ich wieder in Thailand. 😊

Wohl der beste Thai im Umkreis, wenn nicht im ganzen Bodenseekreis! Ich bin hier schon seit bald 20 Jahren Stammkunde und kenne keinen besseren Thai-Imbiss. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen sind groß und machen satt. Wenn scharf draufsteht ist es auch wirklich scharf. Die Chefin und ihr Personal sind super freundlich. Treue Kundschaft wird mit Extras wie z.B. kostenlosem Nachtisch oder einer Aufmerksamkeit zu Weihnachten belohnt. Letztes Jahr wurde anlässlich des 20-jährigen Bestehens zu einem Fest mit leckerem Thai-Buffet eingeladen. Hier komme ich immer wieder gerne her. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nettes Personal und das Essen war lecker... Das Ambiente ist jetzt nicht auf dem neuesten Stand aber typisch für so einen kleinen Imbiss.

Alles was man von einem guten Thai erwartet. Egal ob zum mitnehmen oder Vorort, es wird immer frisch aus dem Wock in der offenen Küche gekocht. Auch die Vorspeisen sind super und die Preise unschlagbar 🥇😃

Eine bessere Lüftung wäre super, damit man nach dem Besuch sich nicht neu einkleiden muss. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch authentisch. Es gab neben den üblichen Nudeln und Reisgerichten auch andere Alternativen.

Essen sehr frisch. Wenn scharf dran steht, dann ist es auch scharf. Gemüse knackig. Service nett, Preise in Ordnung

Riesige Portionen. Es war sehr lecker und eine Klasse Qualität. Der Preis ist auch in Ordnung.

Leider muss ich mich bei zwei von drei bestellten Gerichten der Meinung anschließen dass die Saucen sehr wässrig sind und leider auch wenig Geschmack haben. Nur das Nudelgericht schmeckte recht gut. Unglücklicher weise habe ich keine Bilder gemacht.

Super lecker und authentisch gekocht. Klare Empfehlung.
