Food was great, staff was super friendly, sitting outside was great in the restaurant. I found the cobwebs and critters on the walls a bit not so tasty, but that was within limits. I'm a bit sensitive.

Worst Thai food we have ever eaten. Fried noodles very dry, frozen gyoza not cooked properly. Save your money somewhere else.

Länger als vor einem Jahr Ich empfand diesen Restaurant, sehr sehr gut, weil erstens ich herzlich begrüßt worden bin. Da empfand sehr viel Sympathie fürs diese Restaurant, ich habe mit meiner Freundin ein vegetarisches Gericht bestellt (siehe Foto) und es schmeckte richtig geil. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen. Servicetyp Verzehr im Restaurant Vegetarische Gerichte Summerroll hieß das Gericht.

Beautiful view but also the food was great! Very friendly and, above all, fast waiters. Had the food after about 10-15 minutes and it was great. Can highly recommend the spicy starter salad and the summer roll. I also found the noodles very tasty. The prices are also very affordable for being in such a beautiful place right by the sea

View of Lake Constance. Very large menu. Sushi and all sorts of Asian dishes. Prices ok for this location. You can definitely go back. The staff is very nice.

The portions are far too small for this price. If it really tasted great, then maybe that would be justified. My insider tip: Mei-Jing in Kressbronn on Lake Constance, you get a lot more on your plate for the same price and in my opinion it tastes better there too.

The location right on the lake is of course convincing, the rest is less so. The service is cool, the food mediocre.

The staff and food were actually great, especially the older gentleman was very attentive. However, we wanted to order dessert, the lady with glasses ignored us, even when I asked her personally why no one else came for dessert, she ignored me, I found it very rude. Apparently she didn't speak German but before that she had communicated with us normally in German. Otherwise everything was great👍

I recently visited the Bangkok lakeside restaurant and had an average experience overall. The location of the restaurant is really nice, right on the lake, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The starters in particular were tasty and well prepared. However, I found the main courses to be rather average. The flavors, while good, were not outstanding, and the portions could be larger. It's not a bad restaurant, but it's also not outstanding enough to justify the higher price. Overall, I would describe Bangkok by the Lake as a solid restaurant with a nice location and friendly service, but it is a bit pricey for what you get.

Unfortunately, my food was at most lukewarm and yet very tasteless.

Good location on the lake, if you like you can sit directly on the lake with an excellent view of the lake and the Swiss side. We ate inside because there was a cool wind outside that would have made the food cold unnecessarily quickly. We enjoyed duck with vegetables, rice, red coconut chili sauce and chicken with vegetables, rice and sweet sauce. The espresso that preceded it was also good. You can't complain about the price either! We were there 3 times. Very clean and fragrant toilets!! Recommended!

Anyone arriving from Switzerland by ferry should first turn left to this restaurant to enjoy a delicious, quickly prepared, authentic, fresh and varied meal! Of course, this applies to everyone who wants to do something good for themselves in F'hafen😉. And the price is right too. But be careful, the restaurant is sometimes - unsurprisingly - very busy or even fully booked!

Unfortunately, the food was subpar for the price, the friendliness was average, the only positive thing to highlight is the view of the lake!

Nice location by the lake. But that was it. The worst Thai food we were ever served and one star is already too much. Mushy vegetables in an indefinable sauce and a bit of dry duck. Where this restaurant got its 4, something stars, the hangman knows.

How to find authentic Thai Food? They have Papaya Salad on the menu!

We (3 people) wanted to have a good meal this evening and decided on Bangkok by the Lake just because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we were disappointed 😢! It started with a dirty menu, continued with poor service (starters came at different times as did the main course) and there was also overcooked rice for the main course. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not very inviting either. A pity!!!

Well located Thai restaurant on Lake Constance with indoor and outdoor seating. The food tastes very good and the staff is friendly. The food comes quickly and is well seasoned.

Breaded vegetables for the starter that were not seasoned at all, breading was more than the vegetables. It didn't taste like anything and wasn't eaten. I didn't understand what kind of sauce that was supposed to be, it has nothing to do with sweet and sour sauce. The sushi was okay, but only tasted like mayo. Can't recommend the place at all!

If you want to enjoy bad food in a nice atmosphere, this is the place for you. Loveless and tasteless food! More rice than meat or vegetables.

We ate here with our 3 children and were very pleasantly surprised that the children got their food first. We parents had a starter and then the main course came and the children were still eating so it was a relaxed atmosphere for us. The food was very tasty and if we visit here again we will definitely come back.

Good Asian restaurant right on the promenade and overlooking Lake Constance. The food tastes very good and is also reasonably priced. You can enjoy the weather outside with a direct view of Lake Constance. When we walk along the promenade, we like to eat there. The service is also friendly.

It's OK but nothing special. The food was not well prepared and had a boring taste, few spices for Thai. (Lots of frozen soft cooked) Ordered a total of 5 dishes and they all tasted bad. Reasonably priced. The service from the kitchen was good, but unfortunately the drinks only came after the starter. Maybe we had a bad day 😉 Unfortunately I had a hair in my food.

We wanted to end a beautiful day with delicious Thai food. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The vegetarian food my companion had was a mixture of lecho and Greek vegetables that had been cooked to death and were only lukewarm. I have to mention that I had eaten here twice in previous years and it tasted very good. Unfortunately, the staff took the criticism calmly!

Nicht nochmal! Bei einem unserer bestellten Gerichte war ein Haar drinnen, einfach ekelig! Nach unserem Hinweis wurde es mitgenommen und neu gemacht. Eine anstandsmäßige Entschuldigung kam nicht von der Kellnerin, auch kein kostenloses Getränk oder andere Geste als Entschuldigung. Das geht einfach nicht, daher nicht nochmal und keine Weiterempfehlung!

Waren letztens dort…. Leider schmeckt es nicht so wie es sein soll….. für Farang ist okay aber für die thailändische Gaumen ist nicht so toll.

Ist immer sehr lecker, vorallem der thailändische Eistee. Kellner sind recht aufmerksam und von der Freundlichkeit in Ordnung. Qualitativ hochwertiges essen, Sushi schmeckt auch sehr gut. Habe nichts zu beanstanden.

Das Essen war ok, aber auch nicht so, dass wir da unbedingt nochmal hingehen müssten. Was bei uns wirklich schade war: mitten im Essen fingen 5 Personen an, direkt hinter uns einen Plastikweihnachtsbaum aufzustellen und zu dekorieren. Das war einfach sehr unprofessionell und ungemütlich. Wir wären eigentlich gerne noch sitzen geblieben und hätten noch einen Cocktail getrunken - sind dann aber geflohen. Klar, hätten wir sie bitten können, zu warten bis wir weg sind. Es waren aber auch zwei Kinder am dekorieren, denen wollten wir den Spaß dann auch nicht verderben. Insgesamt sehr ungemütlich und schade um den schönen Abend.

Wirklich gut gegessen, nettes Personal das aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein ist. Das Essen war schnell da und gut zubereitet. Knackiges Gemüse und zartes Fleisch. Das Sushi 🍣 war sehr lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Das Essen ist nicht so wie bei anderen ähnlichen Restaurants. Das Essen "sehr scharf" ist sehr wenig scharf, die Suppen sind klein und mit wenigen Zutaten. Der Fisch war machig, obwohl paniert und geschmacklos. Für Dessert müssten wir 15 Minuten warten, um zu erfahren, dass sie vergessen haben es zu machen. Dann ging schnell... Fazit: für schnelles Essen, also Imbiss, es geht, aber ziemlich entfernt von was man gutes Asiatisches Essen nennt.

Wir sind mal wieder im Bankok Am See. Zwei Cocktails vorweg, wovon der Piña Colada-Cocktail die Nase geschmacklich weit vorn hat, auch wenn viel Eis drin ist. Der Mai Tai ist etwas zu sauer für unsere Geschmackspapillen. Das Essen ist immer gut. Service ist freundlich und immer zugegen. Selten Wartezeiten. Das Lokal liegt direkt am Wasser! Das Essen ist gut.

Super nette Bedienung, direkt am Wasser, toller Blick... Mega Speisen (wie in Thailand). Schnell und absolut spitze!!!!!! Preis ist super, und man wird definitiv satt. Volle 5 Sterne. Wenn wir wieder hier sind... Besuch Pflicht

Leider etwas enttäuschend. Ich war hier früher öfters Abends und da fand ich den Service und die allgemeine Erfahrung besser. Mittagstisch heute war allerdings mehr oder weniger eine Katastrophe. 1. Es ist einfach zu dicht bestuhlt, weswegen man im Endeffekt mit fremden Menschen zu mittag isst und extrem wenig Platz hat. Dafür natürlich am See aber naja, das kann auch nicht immer das einzig Schöne sein. 2. Bedienung (unsere) wirkte relativ Inkompetent, ständig wurde Geschirr und Besteck runter geworfen, wenig Aufmerksamkeit, Organisationschaos 3. Das essen finde ich (natürlich für deutsche Verhältnisse) ganz nett. Semi authentisch aber frisch und ganz lecker, allerdings ziemlich fad. Alles was wir (von unseren Fremden aber nah sitzenden) Tischnachbarn mitbekommen haben war pure Verwunderung über das Bestellte (Ersnusssauce ohne Erdnuss zB), essen ist solide aber lässt schon zu wünschen übrig. Schade, bin früher echt gerne hin aber ist leider etwas lieblos geworden:(

Wir hatten beide ein Gemüse Hühnchen Gericht mit Reis. In einem Essen war kaum Fleisch und beide essen haben fast identisch ausgesehen und geschmeckt. Die Vorspeisen miso Suppe und Frühlingsrolle auch Standard. Nix besonders. Draußen ist die Aussicht sehr schön auf den See. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und schnell.

Wunderschön zum Sitzen, aber das war’s leider schon. Essen hat wenig bis keinen Geschmack und ist hauptsächlich fettig. Schade!

Leider lange nicht mehr so schlecht thailändisch gegessen wie hier. Da sind wir anderes gewohnt. Man zahlt hier leider nur für die tolle Lage am See. Zwei Sterne nur für die gute Lage.
