We went to a Thai restaurant and I'm absolutely thrilled! The food was incredibly delicious – authentic flavors, freshly prepared, and the portions were truly generous. I was particularly impressed by the curries and appetizers. The cocktails were also a highlight – creative, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The value for money here is definitely top-notch. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food or simply wants to try really good quality. I will definitely be back!

We were there for the Seehasenfest (Sea Hare Festival) and wanted to enjoy the fireworks in a relaxed atmosphere with a meal and delicious drinks. The place to enjoy the fireworks was great. BUT: The service was completely overwhelmed. We wanted to try a Bangkok punch for two people that was advertised on the menu. Twice, we were brought the wrong drink. After complaining three times at the "bar" and waiting 45 minutes (waiter: "We don't have Bangkok punch on the menu"), the promise "It'll be right away!" After another 15 minutes of waiting, I canceled in frustration and approached the owner about the dilemma. No response, apology, or even a "compensatory drink" or something similar. The soup, which I had ordered extra "spicy," was also rather bland... The same chaos at the neighboring tables. Wrong, inedible cocktails. Sometimes they wanted to charge even though the guests had already paid... Yes, the Seehasenfest is busy, but it wasn't that crowded, and there were actually enough service staff. There were five people milling around behind the bar alone...

A piece of Thailand right on Lake Constance! 🇹🇭🌊 Great ambiance with a direct view of the lake – and authentic Thai food at its finest. The papaya salad was like it was imported straight from Bangkok – the last time I've had such authentic food was in Thailand. If you like, you can also get your food really spicy Thai – not adapted tourist food, but honest, delicious cuisine. The staff is super friendly and welcoming – in typical Thai style. We feel completely at home here. Highly recommended!

The service was good. Personally, I didn't like the food at all. Everything was pretty run-of-the-mill.

The people were nice there. The pad Thai was full of with tomato sause just,not possible to finish that. but the tofu was good. I fried rice the fried duck was not good at all. Fried rice was fine. Shrimp fies were good. The quantity of the food was sufficient.

We've been here several times and have always been satisfied. But last Saturday, we got beef that looked like it had been on a plate before; very dry and tough. We told the service staff... unfortunately, we didn't get an explanation. What a pity!!!

The ambiance and location were excellent, but unfortunately the food was far too poor for the price. The salad tasted moldy, the fish in the sushi was far too warm, as was the soy sauce. We found several hairs on the sushi, and the service was skeptical and incomprehensible. The other menu items also tasted nothing special, or rather, rather specific and strange. Unfortunately, we won't be back!

We go out for Thai food every Monday, and what we ate here was the worst Thai restaurant I've ever been to. The kids' fries were so yellow and tasted like oil. The vegetables weren't cooked through, and the fish wasn't fresh. If you're looking for something fresh and flavorful, this isn't the place for you.

We were there last year when the weather was nice and we sat on the lakeshore. The service was pleasant and the food was delicious. When we visit Friedrichshafen again, we'll eat there again.

Unfortunately, you can't really call this Thai cuisine. The fried noodles taste like they've been sitting in a pot for five days, the meat is definitely inedible. And the price is definitely excessive. Unfortunately, not recommended.

A typical Thai restaurant right on the lake in Friedrichshafen. A large selection of Thai dishes and fast service and preparation. Excellent value for money! Very friendly, attentive staff. The restaurant's interior is rather cold and impersonal, but the seating on the lake promenade is spacious and inviting.

Good Thai Food for a very price. With outside tables where you can eat looking to the beautiful Bodensee. The service was nice and also bringing the food on time.

A solid restaurant. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Food came quickly and was OK. But nothing more. You can safely leave out the spring rolls! Unfortunately it doesn't taste like anything. The main course (Massaman) was ok, but I know it better!

We came because of the good Phad-Thai reviews and unfortunately we were very disappointed. It had more of a sweet and sour sauce or ketchup noodles. Unfortunately the duck was a bit dry (18€) 2 stars because my brother had a vegetarian tofu dish (312) that was okay. For the price we expected something better. If you really want to eat delicious Thai food, you've unfortunately come to the wrong place. PS.: Mango lassi or something similar doesn't exist.

The good thing about this restaurant is that it’s at the lake. The food was quite mediocre, the service was quite bad. The waiter got the order wrong, so we didn’t get one dish and another one was not what we ordered. On top of that, the table near us was serviced frozen dumplings. Quite bad experience, would not recommend.

Wir sind erschüttert. Waren zum späten Mittagessen dort. hätten nicht gedacht, dass man so schlecht Thai kochen kann mit der Suppe Tom Yam Gung fing es an - 5 shrimps und 8? Champignon-Viertel - sonst nichts - dafür eine merkwürdig schmeckende Suppe, die nach meiner Meinung nie thailändisch war. Wir haben es nicht gegessen und zurückgehen lassen. Den Geschmack habe ich nach gut 5 Stunden immer noch in mir. Mal sehen, ob Eigentümer oder Koch die Wörter Lemon Grass und Galgant wieder erkennt (sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil dieser Suppe). Bei Zahlen viel mir auf, dass die Suppe 6,90 € gekostet hat – kein Wunder eigentlich. Der Kommentar meiner thailändischen Gattin: "das war die schlechteste Tom Yam Gung meines Lebens" und das sind immerhin 45 Jahre - da kommt schon einiges zusammen. ich kann mich dem mit 10 Jahren Erfahrung in "aahaan thai" (Thai Essen) nur anschließen. Das Pad Kra Phao Moo (eine Art Reisfleisch) haben wir bei ersten Mal sogar zurückgehen lassen - kein Hackfleisch und die Fleischstücke omplett zäh. Beim 2. Mal kam eine Art „Hackfleisch“. Gekocht wie ein Curry mit Bambus (geht gar nicht) und viel zu viel Zwiebeln – Holy Basil war gar keines drin. Sensationell schlecht und man sieht deutlich, dass den Leuten kochen keinen Spaß macht. Dafür aber Sushi und Vietnamesisch in einem Thai Restaurant anbieten. Das ist schon eigentlich ein Grund nicht hinzugehen – das kann nichts werden. Ich habe es irgendwie versemmelt. Alles in allem: eine Schande für die thailändische Ess-Kultur. Aber dem Italienischen Essen ist es ja auch nicht besser ergangen.

One of my favorite restaurants. Large selection of dishes, from starters to desserts and drinks. There is also a large selection of tofu dishes for vegetarians, as well as a large sushi menu. You are served quickly, the food comes quickly, and the price-performance ratio is reasonable.

Be careful, in this restaurant the price is either cheating or the waitress has no idea, I had 2 starters and a small drink, all in all 17.50 euros. Apparently the owner's son charged me 22.50 euros and unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home. In addition, the tall, European-looking man who served us was quite unfriendly when we asked if there was bread with the soup. Apparently it's not common, but there's another answer to that other than a curt "no", we won't eat there again. Answer to the restaurant's answer: I have my partner as a witness that you have probably cheated, I'm waiving the few euros, the waitress, the Asian young man heard me say to my partner that I won't tip if the waitress is so unfriendly and AFTER that he increased it from 20.50 euros again to 22.50 euros and I wasn't present enough to notice that he was cheating. We are happy to forego your restaurant!

It's ok to eat... a total tourist thing, a portion of fries (small) costs €6.50... 5 different waiters come to the table, one with less knowledge than the other, several of them don't even speak German... you wait forever to pay and then the waiter comes to the table without making a sound, puts the device with the amount down and only collects the money at the end

We were able to get a place on the outside terrace, despite the low season it was very crowded in the city and the weather was sunny and warm. The service was there quickly at the beginning and also delivered drinks quickly. The food then came and unfortunately it was almost cold. I had beef and it was tough too. Unfortunately a “hunger forces you in” experience. My wife's peanut sauce was also small, thin and had hardly any taste, but the duck was very good (albeit cold). I wanted to order a drink from the waitress who brought the food - "Colleague is coming soon" - I find that to be a relic from old times. You also had to go into the restaurant with the waiter to pay with the card. Since only one person collected the money, this could certainly be solved differently. The menu is very extensive, the sushi looked very good in the pictures, but I was annoyed that we didn't take that.

Disappointing service - no order possible We wanted to have lunch today at the Bangkok Restaurant on the Friedrichshafen lake promenade and were shown to a table. Unfortunately it stayed that way. Despite multiple attempts to place an order, we were repeatedly put off. After 15 minutes of waiting without any service, we finally got up and left. It's a shame because the food actually looked promising. But if you're ignored as a guest, even the best food won't help. As a result of our visit, the restaurant lost around €150 in sales. Hopefully the service will be improved, as we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

I ordered pad thai there and it wasn't good, there was a red sauce on it that tasted completely like tomato. Additionally, the chicken meat was extremely knobbly and gristly. Not recommended for the price!

We came here for lunch with my husband. The food is good and the portions are big. During summer, it must be great to sit outdoors, but this time we opted for an indoor table. Staff is friendly, and toilets are clean. (There is even an accessible bathroom)

Bis auf die scharfe Ente ein totaler Reinfall! Wenn sie es nicht schaffen, sollten sie nicht so viele Tische rausstellen! Die Hälfte wäre mit dem Personal noch machbar gewesen! Mehrfach sind Leut aufgestanden weil sie nicht bedient wurden. Unser Essen kam erstaunlich schnell. Die Getränke erst als wir schon zahlen wollten. Auf der Speisekarte steht bei allen Seafood Gerichten "enthält Wasser" , keine Ahnung was es bedeuten soll. Geschmeckt haben die "gegrillten Tintenfische" jedenfalls nach nichts! Damit kommt ihr vielleicht in der Touristenzeit durch, bei den Einheimischen "Einmal und nie wieder!"

No aromas or spices and the coconut cream is barely noticeable. Vegetables: lots of canned bamboo, some fresh peppers and beans. Really disappointing. Too bad!

None of the ingredients seemed to be fresh, rather frozen stuff- I ordered a house speciality (crispy chicken with vegetables). It was nothing else but a frozen breaded chicken nugget overcooked and deepfried and the vegetables tasted like they were also out of a freezer packet. My husband had salmon with 3 sauces which tasted more like chinese sweet and sour although to be fair his fish was cooked ok. On the plus side the waiter was friendly and the drinks were cold and arrived quickly. The view is great but there are much better restaurants all down the marina with the same outlook.

I arrived at 11 p.m. when the team had already closed. After asking if there was anything to eat, I was served Khao Pad and brought a warm, sweet lynchée juice. Extremely friendly and loving. It felt like I was part of the family. Essem tasted extremely aromatic. There were soy vegetables, they were crunchy and perfect as they should be. I miss Thailand again.
