Very delicious food! The Pad Thai tastes really good and authentic, just like you'd expect from Thailand. For me, it's the best Pad Thai in all of Cologne. The place is simply decorated; it's really all about the flavor, and it's top-notch!

I had some delicious Thai food here today. It was my first time here since the change of ownership, and the food seems to be of higher quality than before. Great value for money, I'll be back.

The previous restaurant was already quite expensive for the small portions. Now, with the new owner, it's become even more expensive, and the portions are even smaller. The taste is good, but you can get more for the money elsewhere.

Wonderful again. I eat at this restaurant regularly. And I simply love that I can trust that the food will be well-made. I was able to order something 10 minutes before closing time. And I heard the owner empathetically interact with her customers and correct mistakes made by customers who had ordered incorrectly. I love this place and can only recommend it.

If you are traveling in Cologne Mülheim and like authentic Thai food, you shouldn't walk past this small, rather inconspicuous shop. The food tastes to die for. It's fresh, the portions are generous and all dishes can be prepared vegan. The vegetables are crunchy and the tofu is crispy. The wok pans are washed after each preparation. The owners are warm and super friendly. And if all that isn't good enough, the prices are also ridiculously low. No dish costs more than 10 euros... but you can hardly cook it yourself. Especially if, like me, you can't cook.

Just great. When you enter, you are immediately greeted by the smells of fresh curries and soups. I received a very friendly welcome and quickly got my takeaway food. Really delicious and authentic. Not a cheap sweet and sour place. A great addition to Müllem. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you!

I've tried many Thai restaurants, and Sawaddee's has had the most authentic food of all. Very well seasoned and quickly prepared. Pickup is also available.

Wir haben heute zum ersten mal den neuen Thai in Mülheim ausprobiert und sind begeistert. Before (other owner) we didn't like it here at all - everything tasted the same, like coconut milk with curry (powder). Now it tastes authentic and aromatic (sometimes really spicy). Der Papayasalat war einer der Besten, den ich außerhalb von Thailand gegessen habe. Bitte weiterhin so geschmackvoll Thai kochen und nicht "zu deutsch werden". Ich freue mich sehr über einen so guten neuen Essensspot in Köln Mülheim. We'll be back! Prices fair and family very nice!

Once and not again, it's a shame. Food too watery and bland. The man was friendly but the food as you can see is nothing special.

Update January 2025......has gotten even worse. No taste... bland, the duck must have died unhappily... there was no comparison to before. So a few years ago, it was one of the best Thai snacks in Cologne. But now they have slacked off incredibly much. I ate the 22 today... but the duck pieces were wobbly and poorly seasoned. No, that's not the way it was. It's a shame.

I ordered online and received a confirmation. The store was closed despite its opening hours.

Food is OK, but there isn't enough meat on the meal, but if you want to experience the unfriendly man behind a counter in Cologne live, this is the place for you. Therefore only 2 stars. If things improve, I'll increase it

Was with a friend and we had the fried noodles with tofu and the Glass-noodles with some chicken. The overall portion size was quite good for the price. But the quality of the frying oil was a little bit sub-paar and the tofu wasn't marinated properly at all. The vegetables and the other ingredients seemed fresh enough and the veggies was just crispy and soft enough. Would give a four if the tofu was marinated (enough) and the oil seemed a bit less saturated. Otherwise great for students etc.

We shop here often because the dishes are fresh and tasty. But you shouldn't expect real Thai food, despite the authentic chef. The criticism expressed here about the sauces (thin, not very seasoned) is particularly true. However, relevant information comes to nothing. Because the opinion of the customers doesn't really matter to the gentleman at the counter. He only radiates a (non-binding) friendliness as long as you order and pay. True to the motto "I'm only doing this so I can finance my next stay in Thailand as quickly as possible". And there are quite a few of them. That's why you should always expect to suddenly find yourself in front of a closed door. You should not expect advance notice or information on your own homepage. The quirk of not opening on Saturday of all days, supposedly because then you wouldn't make any sales, also fits in with this attitude. The fact that there is no end to the hustle and bustle in Buchheim on Saturdays is a gift.

Hauptgerichte waren gut, Ente war zwar nicht bespnders knusprig, aber lecker. Gemüse auch sehr gut. Die Hähnchenspieße waren ein Reinfall, die hätten wir uns besser gespart. Vermutlich ist nicht alles top, aber wir kommen wieder.

Sehr sauber und sehr freundlich leider war das Fleisch noch roh und die Erdnusssose war auch eher eine Art Suppe...

Kenne den Laden schon ein paar Jahren und meist besseres Essen als im Restaurant erhalten. Klein aber feine Küche. Der Laden Läd jetzt nicht ein, aber ein ultimativer Geheimtipp.

Immer lecker, günstig, schnell zubereitet und freundliches Personal. Esse sehr gerne und häufig hier. Nur zu empfehlen.

Leider kann ich es überhaupt nicht weiter empfehlen, habe mich von den positiven Rezensionen täuschen lassen. Wir haben zwei Gerichte bestellt und haben zwei komplett verschiedene Sachen bekommen, als dass wir bestellt hatten. Dies haben wir leider erst zu Hause bemerkt, ich meine, wer macht vor Ort die Verpackung auf. Unsere Gerichte sollten mit Kocos Milch sein, aber von Soße war gar nicht die Rede es war fast überhaupt keine Sauce drin. Geschmacklich war es auch sehr fad. Und dann noch in einem Imbiss für zwei Gerichte 23 € zahlen, waren wir echt enttäuscht und sauer. Tipp für das Restaurant/Imbiss: Bitte die richtigen Gerichte anfertigen. Bitte anständig würzen. Bitte viel Soße rein machen. Ja

Für eure Ente möchte ich sterben...wenn es draußen kalt & Regnerisch ist...

Das Essen schmeckt immer top, mein Favorit ist die Nr. 44. Die Portionen sind okay und es werden frische Zutaten verwendet. Ja, der Laden an sich sieht nicht gerade top aus, tut dem Geschmack aber keinen Abbruch. Und: Der Mann schuldet niemandem Freundlichkeit oder ein Dauerlachen. Er macht seinen Job und gut ist.

Lecker! Die Einrichtung ist lieblos, es könnte etwas schöner aussehen.

Der Schein trügt! Was von außen nicht sehr einladend aussieht kann ich jedem empfehlen trotzdem zu probieren!!! Für mich einer der besten Thai-Imbisse in Köln. Habe mich schon viel durch die Karte gegessen, bei den verschiedenen Currys ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und auf Wunsch gibts alles auch in (wirklich) scharf. Zum abholen ist das Essen immer sehr schnell fertig (meistens 15-20 min) und das alles zu einem sehr fairen Preis! Die manchmal etwas „mürrische“ Art der Besitzer muss man mögen oder auch nicht. Aber das Essen ist Top!

Bestes Thai-Essen in Mülheim. Für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Besonders die handgemachten Frühlingsrollen sind super lecker.

Gutes Thaifood zu fairen Preisen. Es ist keine Royal Thai, es ist mehr Streetfood aber dennoch lecker und vor allem authentisch. Sonderwünsche werden beachtet. Einzig, ich finde es schade, dass es kein Schweinefleisch gibt, da in der Gegend eher wenig davon gegessen wird, aber grade die Thai-Küche bietet ja so viele tolle Gerichte von dem Tier. Aber gut, so ist es nun Mal. Wie in vielen Imbissen variiert auch hier die Karte nicht und es gibt auch keine Tagesangebote zum "mal was Neues" ausprobieren. Aber evtl. kommt das ja noch mal ;) Kommen gerne selbst aus Leverkusen her.

Sehr lecker und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt

Leckeres Thai Essen zum niedrigen Preis. Habe die 44 und 85 zum Mitnehmen bestellt und konnte das Essen 15 Minuten später abholen. Das Essen war direkt fertig und für den Transport ordentlich verpackt. Unsere Gerichte waren heiß und haben wirklich an Thailand erinnert. Scharf heißt hier tatsächlich das auch Schärfe drin ist. Das Restaurant an sich besteht zwar nur aus einer Küche mit kleinem Vorraum, aber auf den ersten Blick ist alles sehr sauber. Für 15,5€ für beide Gerichte war es zudem sehr günstig. Wir kommen wieder.

Über das Ambiente muss man ein wenig hinwegsehen. Das Essen ist dafür nur zu empfehlen.

Das Essen ist wirklich Extraklasse. Das Gemüse immer frisch und knackig. Die Sossen sehr pikant. Wer sich an der etwas mundfaulen Art des Inhabers, dem plärrenden Thai Fernseher und dem eingeschränkten Getränkeangebot nicht stört, bekommt hier ein gutes, preiswertes Thai Essen, auch zum mitnehmen.

ein nudelhaufen in einem sud vermatscht, 4 garnelen und oben drauf sprossen gestreut, kaum gewürzt und nichtmal ansatzweise scharf...dafür 8,- euro. ernsthaft!? so schlecht isst man selten.

Kleiner aber feiner Thai. Immer sehr freundlich und super Essen. Leider schnell voll daher entweder mitnehmen oder die Mittagszeit meiden.
