Tasty food, good service and kind staff... Love it!!!

Super tasty, fast and freshly prepared Thai dishes. You order at the counter and when the buzzer rings you pick up your plate of food and look for a table. So an ideal place for a quick meal, but not for a long meal. Also takeaway. The flavors are very good, you can taste the wok, lots of fresh vegetables and Thai flavors of sour, sweet, salty and spicy. Friendly employees. Take your plate to the dishes yourself. Friendly prices for a large plate of Thai food, you pay around 10-13 euros.

The restaurant is a mix between a snack bar and a self-service restaurant. Very tasty authentic Thai food. The Pad Thai with the shrimp was very tasty. Papaya salad also very good. All in all it tasted like Thailand. We won't be there for the last time.

I used to love this place. But last night my friends and I saw three rats walking around. When the workers noticed our reaction, one of them made fun of us. I don't know if this is normal in Germany, or in Thailand, but it certainly shouldn't.

Food was not tasty, very salty. Pad Thai tasted like ketchup. Cashier was impatient. The interior is neat but there is no atmosphere.

We were here spontaneously today at around 9 p.m. with 4 people and were pleased with the humorous, friendly service! Everyone also found something delicious on the menu (vegan/vegetarian). We'll be back because we really enjoyed it!

Catastrophe, I ordered something vegetarian and I got food that tasted completely like meat... I couldn't eat it at all, after which I politely asked if I could complain about it, the disrespectful woman at the checkout said to me, darling call and do not want to take the food back under any circumstances. It tasted like disaster. In the end I had to pay full price for a new dish. The store was last entered!

The food is delicious and better than in many other Asian places we tried, although very salty. Price is okay, portion is big. Tasty limonades. A central location, directly at Tram station Heumarkt. "-" for a not so comfortable environment, looks not finally constructed, not cosy. And plastic cups for the drinks are not sustainable!

The best thai restaurant in Cologne!! Really original thai foods. Good location, in thr center of town, nearby public transport. The prices are reasonable. Very nice staffs as well as the atmosphere. Very high recommended! Enjoy your dining.

I love the food very authentic. In this restaurant is self service. I bought for my friends as well, they all love it! Very busy restaurant but everything is fast and the food is lecker! The atmosphere as when I was there 3-4 kids screaming, so noisy.

Unpersönlich,unfreundlich,vollkommen desinteressiert das Personal. Das schlechteste thailändische Essen ,was ich jemals gegessen habe. Überall Schmutzecken...Ich frage mich ganz ernsthaft,wie das Lokal 5 1/2 Sterne bekommen kann.Da kann ja wohl etwas nicht stimmen....

Not so good, not so bad ... I said twice "please, not so spicy" (nicht so scharf bitte) but my Tom Yam was very red because of pepper. And rice is not included. Maybe you'll like it more if you are really into spice🥲

It tasted good, but everything was missing the final whistle. The absence of fresh coriander in the Pad Thai or the lack of aroma of Kaffir lemon leaves in the Tom Kah Gai soup... I've had worse food, but also a lot better.

On était allé parce que c’était marqué pas très cher avec une bonne note bon en tant français c’est cher un plat et environ à 11 € pour commencer et ça monte jusqu’à 16 c’est pas exceptionnellement bon c’est correct c’est frais on voit que c’est cuisiné directement sur place avec des aliments frais, ça c’est très bien. Mais bon, le raccord rapport qualité prix est pas super En tant que nourriture thaï, j’ai connu mieux

Delicious. One point deducted because sometimes there seems to be too much sugar in the sauces. Otherwise, probably the best Pad Thai in Cologne.

I had the pleasure of visiting Krua Thai at Heumarkt in Cologne today and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant is located in a former cult pub, which gives the ambience an interesting touch. My companion and I chose the H1 with red curry and the C5 with green curry. Both dishes tasted excellent and impressed with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The red curry in particular was nice and spicy, but not too spicy, while the green curry had a pleasant freshness. The service was friendly and attentive, which rounded off the overall impression of the visit positively. Other visitors also praise the quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. Some also mention the generous portions and good value for money. All in all, my visit to Krua Thai at Heumarkt was a successful culinary trip to Thailand that I would like to repeat. So if you're looking for good food in an interesting atmosphere, you should definitely stop by here!

Great food but a bit stressed employee. There were small errors when ordering. I wanted Curry C1 and not breaded duck but chicken instead of the duck. She just makes me chicken instead of breaded chicken. Only available upon request They want chicken they get chicken, that's chicken. In the end it cleared up. I would have liked a more accommodating approach. “Yes, we’ll make breaded chicken with it,” they should charge a little more, but that’s fine. Otherwise I have to say the food is great and the price is also okay

I asked for a vegan option with Tofu, when i got the food it tasted really bad and i found a piece of chicken in the dish i had. Thats not cool. After i told them, i didn’t get any offer of a new dish neither a refund. None!! Im not sure what kind of customer service this is!! A bad one i can tell you! Unprofessional in my opinion.

Pad noodles were good, but not too spicy. The service and ambience was decent. Reasonable prices. The kitchen is partly open and then place has an aortmy good vide. Bathroom clean and well appointed. The boss lady could be a bit more friendly.

Really tasty pad kra pow with pork and a fried egg. Appropriately spicy and very comforting! It's a bit pricier than some of the local "Thai Imibiss" joints but it's notably better quality too.

I always take Tom Yam and rice. Delicious. The order is prepared quickly. The only negative is that there is no toilet in the restaurant. But overall I recommend it 👌

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food at Krua Thai. We had a classic Thai dish with rice, vegetables and chicken. The vegetables seem to be fresh, but unfortunately the taste is absolutely not satisfactory. It's not really fried either, but rather tastes hard and warmed up. The service is nice and the ambience is also fine for a restaurant right next to the Heumarkt train stop, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio here is absolutely terrible.

Für einen Imbiss mit Selbstbedienung wirklich ausgesprochen schön, v.a. die alten Decken. Auch das Essen wusste zu überzeugen und hatte auf Wunsch eine schöne Thai-Schärfe. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir, dass es auch einige klassische thailändische Gerichte mit Hack (wahlweise mit Huhn, Tofu, Schwein oder Fisch) auf der Speisekarte gab. Findet man bei den klassischen Imbissen nicht immer so vor.

Schmackhaftes Essen. Dezente Portionen & preislich echt gut. Angenehmes Ambiente, ist eine Zwischending von einem Imbiss und einem Restaurant. Das Thai Curry hat mir sehr geschmeckt. Vor allem die gerösteten Erdnüsse waren gut für die Note und die Bohnen waren knackig. Die Ente war gut. Hätte für meinen Geschmack definitiv deutlich schärfer sein können & das werde ich beim nächsten mal gerne nachwürzen lassen. Definitiv nicht das letzte Mal. Gute Anbindung direkt am Heumarkt.

Ich weiß nicht, weshalb in einem Land, in dem die betriebliche Weihnachtsfeier nur noch Jahresendfeier heißen darf, in einem Land, in dem junge Menschen nicht mehr wissen, was Ostern eigentlich passiert ist, in einem Land, in dem Kinder nicht mehr auf das Christkind warten, sondern auf den Weihnachtsmann (und der kommt dann mit dem großen roten Coca-Cola Truck) der Weihnachtsmarkt an Totensonntag erst um 18:00 Uhr öffnen darf. Aber diesem Umstand verdanken wir, dass wir um 17:00 Uhr enttäuscht auf der Suche nach einer guten Alternative zum Weihnachtsmarkt waren. Und so gingen wir über die Straße zum Heumarkt zum KruaThai! Und es war viel besser, als das Essen auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt hätte sein können! Alle Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet, alle Gerichte sind thailändisch und damit sehr fein und aromenreich abgeschmeckt! Wir hatten S1 mit Ente und rotes Curry mit Huhn. Beides war großartig! Die Speisen an den Nachbartischen sahen ebenfalls großartig aus! Die Location selber ist eigentlich mehr ein Schnellimbiss, trotzdem stehen sicherlich 20 Sitzplätze zur Verfügung. Und wer sich die Zeit nimmt, mal im Raum herum zu schauen, entdeckt die wunderschönen Ornamente und Stuckarbeiten an der Decke. Der Standort Heumarkt und die Räumlichkeiten nebst Deckenverzierungen hätten Potenzial für „gehobenere“ Gastronomie. Aber wir und alle Gäste sind froh, dass das Krua Thai genauso ist, wie es ist… Absolut empfehlenswert - nicht nur für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch…

Gutes Thai Essen. Selbstbedienung mit etwas überfordertem nicht besonders freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Innenraum hat eher Imbisscharakter mit ebensolcher Geruchsbelästigung. Geschmacklich aber sehr gut.

Ich war gestern Mittag dort essen und habe eine Lebensmittelvergiftung bekommen! Ich hatte Panaeng gegessen und war einpaar Stunden später auch auf einem Konzert und musste mich ganze Zeit, übergeben und konnte nichtmal stehen, musste das Konzert früher verlassen. Ihr habt mein Konzert und meine Gesundheit ruiniert!

Sind aus Zufall über das Restaurant gestolpert und es war sehr sehr lecker. Die Reste haben auch nachts um 3, kalt, super gut geschmeckt! Würde immer wieder hingehen☺️
