At 8:20 p.m. we were looked at strangely and were told that the kitchen was already closed, even though there was a note outside 5-10 p.m.

Products not freshly prepared. Slow service. Quite expensive.

The food was really delicious and the service was also top notch except that the drinks we ordered were forgotten twice

Many of the tapas are not only swimming in oil, but are also very spicy and salty. I don't remember it being that extreme from our trips to Spain. It was very heavy in the stomach. The price for tapas might be normal - you should definitely expect €30-40 per person. The restaurant was full and unfortunately the kitchen couldn't quite keep up. We had to wait >75 minutes for the food (only the bread was brought straight away). If you don't have the time, you should use less busy days.

Fantastic food, great service and of course a wonderful atmosphere. Simply recommended 👍

Meister Gerhard at Rathenauplatz in Cologne offers both good and bad points. The friendly service, clear menu, and good wine selection make for a pleasant evening. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is disappointing: the bread is overcooked, and the tapas have little to do with authentic Spanish cuisine. The value for money is also disappointing, as the dishes are too expensive for their quality. Another criticism is the limited reservation time of just two hours, which makes the evening unnecessarily stressful. Overall, a mixed experience—perhaps worth a visit for wine lovers, but probably not for tapas fans.

We were there very spontaneously and had our voucher book with us. No problem at all! We received a very friendly welcome and were even able to choose a place by the fireplace. Shortly afterwards we were served! Simply top! The food was very tasty, all the employees and the boss were very friendly and attentive. We really liked the atmosphere and it was cozy. We'll definitely be back!

In 2023 we visited the bodega for the first time on our Easter vacation and were thrilled by the food and the friendliness of the staff - this year we are here again and were in the bodega on the first evening - we were allowed to bring our Hovawart with us again and had a nice seat by the window. The food was, as usual, very tasty. We will go there again on Easter Sunday.

Absolutely recommended! The owner and his wife are so nice and the food was really great! Small and really cozy! And the prices are great too! We had a great evening

Very tasty food, cozy atmosphere and great service. A small note at this point: Since the restaurant is quite small and busy, a reservation is recommended. And it shouldn't be a problem for anyone to sit at the table with other guests. This can be very nice when you start talking to others.
