Havana in Köln

The service was very engaging and super friendly. The food and cocktails were excellent. The ambiance was perfect.

There are a wide variety of tapas here, all prepared quite deliciously. Every single tapas is worth recommending. Another plus is the warm bread served with the tapas. You don't get it everywhere. The prices are unfortunately a bit high for a single tapas, but they are still delicious. We visited the restaurant in February 2023.

It's hard to believe I've never been here before. It was a really lovely evening, with very friendly staff and super delicious food! We also enjoyed the cocktails. I'll definitely be coming more often now. :)

A perfect evening at Havanna – top-notch food, cocktails, and service! I recently visited the Havanna restaurant in Cologne and was absolutely thrilled. The food was a dream, especially the salmon I had. The cocktails were also fantastic, very tasty, and perfectly mixed. But what really rounded off the evening was the staff. They were very attentive, friendly, and made me feel truly welcome. I can wholeheartedly recommend Havanna. Everything is just perfect here: food, drinks, and service!

We go there regularly and are more than satisfied. Unfortunately, it's often the case in restaurants that something falls flat at some point. Be it the food or the service. Here, everything is absolutely perfect. Also particularly noteworthy is the absolute friendliness. You feel completely at home there... Thanks to the entire team.

We've enjoyed going there for years. Delicious tapas, excellent wine, very friendly, attentive service, and good value for money. In summer, you can even sit out a shower under the large awning.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. After about 45 minutes, the side salad arrived. After another 10-13 minutes, the ready-made schnitzels came out of the fryer. The fried potatoes were also fried, more reminiscent of potato strips. I barely asked about drinks. The food still felt heavy in my stomach later on, which wasn't due to the quantity. The waiter, who simply took the order and brought the food, was friendly, confident, and attentive. To top it all off, an employee was smoking an IQOS cigarette right by the entrance door, after you go up the two steps. It doesn't look good; a little more tact wouldn't hurt here either. When I pointed out that the food and the wait weren't satisfactory, the drinks were covered. A conciliatory gesture. Addendum after the feedback: The round on the house was only mentioned after we complained about the quality of the food and demanded the bill. It hadn't been mentioned before. We can talk about the schnitzel, but you can tell the difference between a ready-made schnitzel and one that's homemade. And smoking deliberately away from customers is the least you can do in a restaurant, but right at the entrance is the worst place for a good image.

Yeah... I've rarely experienced anything so slow. 45 minutes and there's still no food. The cocktail is bad, and every 20 minutes someone comes over to ask if you want a drink. Totally unacceptable

The dishes are always delicious, especially the vegetarian and vegan options, as well as the tapas. I also like the various rums and the cocktails. It's a must-go if you're ever in Cologne.

It's a shame. The waiter and bartender were very friendly, as always. The young waitress was the opposite. Totally unenthusiastic. We were told it was stressful (not from work, it wasn't busy).

Worst cocktail I've had in Cologne so far. There was nothing wrong with that margarita. Starting with the exterior to the content. - wrong glass - Lumps of salt - but then noodle straw - felt like there was no Triple Sec in it at all - just pissed off - 3 tons of ice cubes in it (!) At least they used the right alcohol. But in a homeopathic dose. You have to get it all together first, so much failure and lack of understanding in a classic is remarkable!

What a happy coincidence! We spontaneously stopped by Havana in the Agnesviertel. Nice Cuban ambience with appropriate South American music in the background - we immediately felt at home. But the highlight wasn't the very tasty cocktails, but the incredibly delicious food! Everything is prepared fresh and with passion - a well-staffed kitchen with skilled craftsmanship pays off!! Big praise!! It's definitely not the last time we've been to Havana! Hasta luego! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This restaurant has a completely inappropriate and disrespectful decoration. Upon entering, I encountered an image of a highly controversial historical figure, responsible for the repression and suffering of many innocent people. It is unacceptable for a place that welcomes customers from different backgrounds and values to display images of individuals who represent violence and oppression. This completely ruins the experience and creates an unpleasant atmosphere. I do not recommend it at all to those who value justice, ethics, and respect for human rights.

It was my first time in Havana. The restaurant is rather small and quaint. I liked that. The service was fantastic. The empty air was always left out of the glass and five of us all got our tapas at the same time. 2/3 tapas were fantastic. The other one is fine. The baked ice cream with marzipan is highly recommended! Cocktails very tasty and extensive selection. I like it !

The inside of the restaurant is too crowded with tables and chairs. With so many people there is a very high volume - you have to like that. There were several people there and we all had different tapas, all of which were delicious. Service and drinks were also great.

Didn't eat anything, just drank delicious cocktails and that too during happy hour, which is here from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Great taste, very friendly service, enjoyed the evening in the fresh air. One star deducted because of a blackened physalis, I would have liked a little more attention, even if it was the drink of my companion. But otherwise it was super tasty and consistently positive. A look at the menu was very appetizing and I will definitely stop by again to try the food.

We were served perfectly and treated very courteously. The food was perfect. Although we were a relatively large group, the waitress always kept an eye on our table and we never sat on the dry side. The portions were well sized and tasty.

Cozy, well-attended bar/pub. Nothing fancy, down to earth and you feel comfortable. Well attended to full inside and out. approx. 21:30-00:00 (At least that was the case for us and the other guests that evening). Amazing selection of rums from virtually all over the world. (unfortunately I don't know about it) Otherwise a small selection of rum/vodka/tequila/gin cocktails, as well as some classic cocktails. So drinks can se^^. We didn't eat at all this evening. Only 1 dessert in our group, ice cream fried in a marzipan wrapper and chocolate sauce on top, looked and tasted delicious. The food menu is also well stocked and what was brought out of the kitchen looked delicious and smelled really good. Will go again this evening if we can get a seat and eat, drink, enjoy. Will never go here again. The waitress was annoyed in the evening and pushed me into my seat several times without apologizing, all because she didn't want to go further around the table to put the drinks down. The prices are outrageous (€5.20 for a glass of apple spritzer) and then you get a funny look if you don't leave a tip. Invoice was not issued, card payment from €15 - welcome to the Stone Age. Really never again!

The worst tapas bar north of the Alps. According to the menu, tapas are served here. However, when I asked the waitress about "Patatas Bravas", she first explained that she didn't know what that was and then referred me to the "potato wedges" on the menu. Hoping to be served something similar, I ordered these. Unfortunately, I got McCain potato wedges. Please google what patatas bravas are.

The best Pina Colada I've had in years. The staff was really nice! Otherwise it's a nice place that I would recommend to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing evening with cocktails. The strawberry daiquiri is also highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Even if you come with a giant wheelchair at rush hour on a Saturday evening, a visit is still possible.

Pub and bar hopping down Neusser Straße we decided to drop into Havana ,been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this Cuban bar ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, photos of old Cuba adorn the walls, great decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its a wonderful place to unwind in. We were here on a cold and rainy December night, bar was packed with a great atmosphere, we got beers ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great bar we were in. Beer served here was spot, golden, light and hoppy and very drinkable beer, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Havana we had a great time. Havana is easy to locate Neusser Straße, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
