Everything was great, the staff was nice and simply the best👍

Since I am a huge fan of fries and come from Düsseldorf Bilk, I have been a Frittenwerk customer since the very beginning. So I was really happy when I discovered yesterday that one had opened at the main station in Cologne and I ordered my favorite dish straight away. Since I don't like the fries to be soft when I get home, I've always asked for the last 10 years if they can make the fries upside down. So sauce and topping on the bottom and fries on top. So far it has never been a problem. But this employee denied this. He said that there were fixed guidelines for the arrangement and he couldn't do it. I said I've been doing it this way for 10 years and it's never been a problem. After an annoying discussion and extremely complex explanations, the other employee managed to solve the incredibly difficult task... Because they managed it, I went there again today. Since I prefer to pay with cash and also have an “extra request,” I went straight to the counter to order. The employee yelled at me that I should only order from the machines because the counter was closed. I know that gastro can be stressful, so don't take it personally, turn a blind eye and say nothing, even though I was very shocked at the tone. Then I was friendly again to another employee, the same one from the day before, and asked if I could have the fries again like in the lecture. He said it was too complicated and he didn't understand what I meant yesterday. I should go to my colleague. I then explained to my colleague exactly what I wanted and he assured me that he understood it. When I took my order there was still sauce on top, even though I don't like that because fries have to be crispy for me :-( So I asked them to make me a new portion. The employee was really loud and cheeky Then I burst out and asked louder and annoyed what was so complicated about it. He then made me a new portion with rolling eyes and aggressive movements. But without the mayo and parsley, which was actually in the portion belong. I I didn't dare say anything else at this point because he seemed really angry. He handed me the portion and said, "Next time, don't talk to me like that." I was just stunned!!! aggressive with me and I as a customer should just accept it in silence? I have worked in the catering industry for years and know that it can be stressful at times, but I would never have dreamed of talking to a guest like that! I would have been thrown out of there! I'm used to being treated with less respect because of the color of my skin and because I'm a larger woman, but that's just not possible! I am a very friendly, polite person and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I will never enter the Frittenwerk in Cologne again. At least not as long as this person works there and tell all my friends about this experience and advise against it!

The vegan currywurst is super tasty and the staff are very nice!

The fries are delicious as always, and the service is friendly, funny, and so great and fast that I can eat in peace and still get my train - thank you, really great!

The waitresses were very disorganized and not exactly friendly. You have to wait a long time for a simple fries that don't even taste good. Not even properly seasoned with salt. The worst fries I've ever tested. I'll never go there again

I just love Frittenwerk's poutine, especially the Montreal style. The food is always delicious, the staff is super friendly and the food is served quickly even when there is a lot of demand. The branch at the main station is just as comfortably furnished as the others, but you can still tell that you are at the main station.

Churros with chocolate sauce and extra pistachio dip. Very tasty, but the pistachio sauce contained too much sweetness for my taste. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Nice atmosphere, the only thing that bothers you are the homeless people who come begging. The service has always been good and very polite, even in stressful moments with a lot of demand for food. The food is always good

We were surprised at how friendly and pleasant it was here as it is located in the middle of a station center. The owner of this shop let us taste delicious churros that were crispy on the outside and perfect in texture on the inside. On top of that a delicious layer of mixed chocolate. If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the day before taking the train, come here.

The staff is largely friendly and accommodating, and the food is of a very pleasant quality on most days. But the ambience leaves a lot to be desired, there are grease stains on the walls and I was often harassed by homeless people. If the annoyances subside and the cleanliness is increased, I have nothing to complain about!

It's been a long time since I've been in a chip factory. It was tasty but dear people, the portions were different. I think it's quite expensive for that reason. So go less often...unfortunately.

Preparation is always quick; if you don't sit facing the entrance, you tend to forget that you're at the train station. It's surprisingly quiet considering that the chip factory is right in the station building. Ordering at the terminal is easy.

Chili cheese fries with jalapeños tasted good, I'm not a spicy eater, but the recipe could have made them spicier. Prices are already expensive, unfortunately no coupon could be redeemed. The service was very cool and nice. Anyone waiting for their train can definitely make a detour here

So it tastes really good here, the service does its job but the self-service terminals are a disaster and simply programmed.

Unfortunately, we were not allowed to sit in the store half an hour before closing time. The gentleman said that he had already cleaned and therefore no one was allowed to eat on site anymore.

Food is delicious but it's not fast food. 20 minutes between ordering and food being served.

The ordering machine is designed too complex. I've been here three times and each time I've seen how the customers deal with it. At one point I didn't feel like placing the order itself. There's a lot of room for optimization there.

Food came after 1 hour order?!?!? We somehow forgot about each other or something idk… I'm actually a big Frittenwerk connoisseur but that was really QUAQUA. The tomatoes were really soggy and tasted like vomit. The staff was really anti-social and just started smoking 🚬😔 But Cologne was disgusting anyway so that was to be expected

Great food (as always at Frittenwerk), even the vegetarian currywurst was delicious, which is often not the case. The ambience is also quite nice, very good for a fast food restaurant. The reason for the rating is the two employees who work here at the moment, they are super friendly, work quickly despite the stress and make you laugh. Friendly and funny employees, good food and a good fast food environment, what more could you want? Recommendation!

These fries at Frittenwerk changed my life. A culinary masterpiece! (I had the Vegan Hot Chili Cheese Fries). The service was also a 10/10. The next time I'm in Cologne, I'll definitely come back.

Room for improvement: Hygiene - should be further expanded. Dirty and untidy tables are not exactly inviting. Wrong 3 times out of 10 orders. Is that normal? Preparation is based on economic efficiency: delivery services and to go have priority. If you want to eat in the store you have to have time. The food itself: Very tasty. 👍 When it comes to friendliness, I would go a step further... It's all just my subjective impression when I was there late on a Sunday afternoon.

Was at the Frittenwerk in Cologne main station today. Despite the large number of customers, you felt welcome as a guest. The team worked perfectly and the location is super cozy. Thank you very much for the best start to the weekend. Great team, great products. I know you have enough to do without me, but now you have a new regular on your hands. All thumbs up for this experience.

The best restaurant here in the main station. I had better poutine in Canada but that's really complaining on a high level. Unfortunately, poutine is extremely rare in Germany.

We had currywurst fries twice with additional dip. The portion size and taste of the fries could have been better. Nothing special, but very expensive. The currywurst was OK, tasty and spicy. Waiting time a bit long, it wasn't busy but we still waited 15 minutes. Staff friendly. Negative: Disposable tableware is also used when eating indoors.

So if you can't get anything to eat 90 minutes before closing time, something has gone wrong! Either the boss doesn't pay for the time after work that is used for cleaning, which would be really anti-social! Or the employees simply didn't feel like it anymore and therefore started earlier. According to Google they close at 9pm…. This seems to be the case forever because the official opening times say otherwise if you can't get anything at 8:30 p.m.

€9.10 for what feels like half a portion. Never again!

Oh wow what a rude service. The old lady yelling at me for no reason. They don't even speak English. First moment in Germany and already experienced this kind of rudeness. Not welcoming at all. Food was ok and prepared fast which is good when you transfer to another train soon.

I got Currywurst mit Pommes and a Fanta. First, it's pricey- around 13 euros for a very simple dish. And for the price one would expect the food to be at least good. Well, it wasn't good. The sausage and curry ketchup were fine, but the chips almost inedible- they were HARD, as if they'd been sitting around for a long time. Despite this they were astonishingly hot, so that made for a really unpleasant experience. I guess I'll go to a kiosk for my currywurst.

Fritter's shop in Cologne station, convenient for a quick bite to eat just after your train. You can order at the terminals or at the cash register. The interior is nice, we easily got seats on a Friday at 1 p.m. The food is good, we had sweet potato fries and poutine with pulled pork

Fries with a difference! I was passing through and had a stopover at the Cologne main station. I didn't know this restaurant yet and of course I tried it straight away. I really enjoyed it. The garlic fries really deserve the name. On the way back I will try the vegan currywurst.

Sehr leckeres Essen, super Auswahl und super freundliches Personal!

Super lieber Angestellter, tolles Ambiente, chillige Musik und das Essen schmeckt zufälligerweise auch. Weiter machen!

Wir hatten einmal Pommes mit Currywurst und einmal nur Pommes mit Currysauce. Insgesamt hat uns das sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Wartezeit war auch sehr überschaubar und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Allerdings wurde die Currysauce irgendwann einfach zu viel und war etwas zu sauer. Wir würden aber auch gerne wiederkommen ☺️ nächstes Mal vielleicht keine Currysauce bestellen.

Ein absoluter Traum! Wir sind jetzt bereits mehrere Male hier gewesen und jedes Mal hat uns dazu inspiriert, wiederzukommen. Frittenwerk am Kölner Hbf ist einfach ein sicherer Hafen <3 Nicht nur das Essen ist unfassbar lecker (wo soll ich anfangen - die herrlich aromatischen Handcut Fries, die so wunderbar würzigen Falafel in einem Nest aus Tomaten und veganer Aioli oder die genialen Süßkartoffelpommes mit Guacamole...?), sondern auch super vielfältig, ganz gleich ob mit Fleisch, vegetarisch oder vegan! Da ist wirklich für jede:n etwas dabei und die Portionen haben eine anständige Größe, von der man auch satt wird. Ein absolut wunderbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Was mich aber vollends begeistert hat war die Rücksichtnahme bezüglich Unverträglichkeiten. Die Mitarbeitenden sind top aufgeklärt und eine Karte mit Allergenen stets griffbereit, sodass auch ich mit meiner Unverträglichkeit von Milch und Gluten hier stets fündig und satt werde! Das ist heutzutage leider wirklich noch etwas besonderes und nur einer von vielen Gründen, warum ich immer wieder gerne hierher komme. Achtung! Bezüglich Glutenunverträglichkeit ist der Laden auf alle Fälle safe, jedoch bin ich nicht informiert, wie es mit der Situation für Zöliakie aussieht - eventuell sind hierfür die Voraussetzungen nicht gegeben. Fragt da am besten mal die Mitarbeitenden - ein wirklich cooles, entspanntes und herzliches Team (besonders der eine Ehrenmann - du weißt, dass ich dich meine! :D) , das sicher weiterhilft! Wie immer super leckeres Essen - heiß und frisch und insbesondere für Leute mit Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten echt eine Empfehlung! Da wird hier immer drauf Rücksicht genommen und Komponenten können auch problemlos getauscht werden (eigentlich gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis manchmal aber auch umsonst). Pommes immer frisch und knusprig sowie Wahl aus drei verschiedenen Sorten. Die Mitarbeiter sind auch wenn es voll ist immer entspannt und sehr freundlich! Ein Mitarbeiter ganz besonders - er weiß wen ich meine! Gerne wieder! =)

Vooral veel waar voor je geld. De term loaded fries is hier echt van toepassing. Muziek wel nogal luid. Maar verder fijne ervaring. Ik had zoete aardappel met shawarma, kaassaus erbij.

Für mich ist das Frittenwerk im Kölner Hbf immer die erste Wahl. Die Pommes werden dem Preis absolut gerecht, denn man wird auch satt von der Menge. Ganz klare Empfehlung: Montreal Style mit extra Hähnchen!🍟😋

Bin häufiger hier essen wenn ich beruflich mit dem Zug unterwegs bin und vorher Zeit habe zu essen. Esse jedes Mal die BBQ Pulled Pork Poutine mit Knoblauchfritten und wurde noch nie enttäuscht! Auch die Mitarbeiter sind immer freundlich und gut gelaunt! Werde weiterhin herkommen

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und dafür das es ja mitten im Hauptbahnhof liegt, finde ich es echt gemütlich dort. Ach ja und das Essen ist auch echt Klasse.

Ich muss meine vorherige Rezension von 2023 revidieren! 2024 ist alles anders. Super Team, super gute Laune und grossartiger Teamleiter ( er hat ein super Auge für Sauberkeit, Ordnung und ein tolles Serviceorientiertes Denken und Handeln). Ich habe einige Extras ausgewählt siehe Bild 2 und alles wurde mit bedacht und Liebe angerichtet. Alles so wie es sein sollte, gute Qualität und guter Service. Entspannte Atmosphäre! Ich bin wunschlos Glücklich!!!

Super leckeres Essen und freundliches und gutgelauntes Personal. Kann ich jedem weiter empfehlen. Ich hab die Currywurst Spezial gegessen. Ich bin sehr empfindlich was die Schärfe beim Essen angeht, aber selbst für mich war es total lecker und nicht scharf.😃 Zudem ist es immer wieder spannend zu sehen mit welchem Namen man aufgerufen wird. Habe meine Pommes mit Currywurst zuerst im Restaurant gegessen. Da ich zeitlich knapp war und den Rest mitnehmen wollte, erhielt ich vom freundlichen Koch eine neue Schachtel, die das Essen schützt und obendrein noch Sauce! Das nenne ich Kundenservice vom Feinsten. Danke! Ich komme gerne wieder.

Völlig übertrieben teure Pommes die unter irgendwelchen Fancy Saucenplörre ertränkt werden, matschig und als Pommes nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Jetzt muss Sanifair sich noch in Kackwerk umbenennen, dann passt alles.

Gestern vor dem Musical dachte ich Probier doch mal eine Kleinigkeit von dort sah so gut besucht aus. Was mir aufgefallen ist wie es hinter der Theke aussah, nicht sehr ansprechend bzw. unhygienisch . Ist mir auch erst aufgefallen, wo ich meine Bestellung abgeholt habe. Ich war die Bestellung Strolch. Ich hatte Chicken Bombs, Hausfritten und Vegane Mayo und Sour Cream. Die Dips waren sehr warm. Nachdem Verzehr dann ging es schon los das ich mich übergeben musste. Was es genau war kann ich nicht sagen aber habe mir nachdem Besuch eine Lebensmittel Vergiftung zugezogen. Personal war super freundlich aber das war’s dann auch.

Leckere Pommes, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Manchmal dauerts etwas länger, aber das Warten lohnt sich. Viele Gerichte auch vegan erhältlich.

Für mich die Rainbow Bowl zum Mitnehmen, immer wieder. Einfach genial. Super lecker und abwechslungsreich, vegan, total sättigend und reichhaltig (merkt man auch schon am Gewicht ;-)
