It was so refreshing to come to an eating establishment that service and food were so GREAT! We didn't have that much time in between our two films we were seeing at the Cologne Film Festival and can't tell you how well we were taken care of by your employees and what a delicious Meal! Nice food but the music is complete garbage

I've been here twice. The food's okay, as expected, but it's super loud in there as the guys at the counter are always yelling names. There should be another way to serve the food instead of screaming.

It was to oily. I tried chickem shawarma poutine. And the whole meal was almost with potato. I was expecting more side ingredients like more avacado, more lettuce, more chicken, more lime. And the proportion is big for one person or maybe I couldn’t finish it because it was to oily. And for the only potato it is a bit pricey.

Totally overrated in my opinion. The topping was OK. The fries, on the other hand, were totally limp, which wasn't because the sauce etc. was on top. The fries simply weren't really cooked through and were still very light. The price wasn't cheap either. 2 portions of fries and 2 small drinks €25. Next time we'll eat somewhere else.

My first impression was WOW, so as soon as I entered the restaurant I was greeted and when I got the food it was like a dream. Highly recommended!

Once great, now chaotic conditions. Only 1 out of 4 terminals work, only 1 out of 4 employees seem friendly and service-oriented - the others argue and forget my order.

Had the Istanbul Street Fries. The taste was okay but nothing special either. The portion was decent and the price was okay too. You can definitely go there.

Was there recently after work to treat myself to something. The ambience was great, the employees were very nice ^^ the food was also really great, I can only recommend it :))

Friendly service at the counter. Nice atmosphere for a fast food restaurant. Outdoor catering available. Crispy homemade fries that were salted to perfection. Lots of interesting sauces. Had paprika chili, tasty something different; but for me as a sauce fan a little little. Price-performance ratio ok Since I was only slightly hungry, I will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Freundlicher Service an der Theke. Für ein fast food Restaurant schönes Ambiente. Außengastro vorhanden Knusprige hausgemachte Fritten, die perfekt gesalzen waren. Viele interessante Saucen. Hatte Paprika-Chili, schmackhaft mal was anderes; aber für mich als Saucen Fan etwas wenig. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis o.k Da ich nur kleinen Hunger hatte werde ich auf jedenfall wiederkommen, um die anderen Gerichte zu probieren.

I ordered the Istanbul Street Fries without paprika-chilli sauce and unfortunately received some with this sauce. After I let them know, I immediately got new fries, and my friend was still allowed to eat the ones that had already been served, so they didn't have to be thrown away. Great service, very friendly and the place is clean and welcoming.

A shop that specializes in special dishes with fries. What did we like + + Cleanliness in the store + how the food is prepared + Friendly staff What didn't I like - - Price-performance - There's no debate about taste. It didn't blow me away.

Expensive fries, with expensive "hip" toppings, containers only half full, dirty wooden forks, drinks were lukewarm, air conditioning was broken, and you had to pay a deposit and you simply had to hand in the bottles when you cleared them away! So get an extra 15ct with every drink. (No one goes into the state with a glass Coke bottle) the deposit system is being abused here

Sits well and is centrally located. The perfect meal for after work.

Fries with toppings underrated. Vegetarian vegan selection also Baba. It's a bit stressful sitting here with ADHD, I recommend noise canceling.

FRITTENWERK on the occasion of NRW Day on the Rhine. To pay €6 for a handful of fries with mayonnaise, ordered as large fries, is, with all due respect, outrageous in my opinion. They were delicious.

Have eaten here three times so far and have not encountered any problems during any of my visits. The food is tasty, the staff are friendly and quick and it's relatively easy to find a seat. The location of the store itself isn't bad either. I have to admit that the prices are a bit high, but you should definitely make a detour here if you are near Cologne city center.

Frittenwerk really impressed me! The food was delicious, especially the creative variations of French fries, all cooked to perfection. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, which made the visit particularly pleasant. I’m already looking forward to my next visit – highly recommended!

Fries were served endlessly even though we were there at peak visiting time. Price above average, service quick despite the extremely large number of customers, but really anything but good fries. A pity.

Very unfriendly waitress. After a friendly hello from me, only a monotonous look and a nod follow. The food can be discussed, maybe a different branch, but definitely not here anymore.

Dass die Preise letztens gestiegen sind ist ja okay aber mit den Mengen wird man auch immer geiziger. Ich war ne Zeit lang jede Woche 1-2 mal da essen und kenne den Laden gut. Aber die Menge Fritten die man jetzt bekommt ist echt nicht normal (siehe Foto), da ging mal hoch bis zur Kante. Soße war auch zu wenig, als ob die Kellen plötzlich kleiner geworden sind oder man die Kelle nicht mehr ganz auslaufen lässt. Musste dann für mehr Soße mit den Mitarbeitern noch ernsthaft diskutieren. Ich weiß nicht ob’s am Personal liegt oder der Laden sich einfach verändert hat. Aber bei dem Preis und der Menge Soße kann ich auch woanders für weniger Geld Fritten essen gehen…

A bottle deposit is charged, even if you eat in the restaurant! During the time I ate there, no one wanted their deposit back. Everyone dutifully places their empty drink bottles in the boxes provided.

It was okay, but for a shop that specializes in fries called Frittenwerk, I think you can at least expect very good fries. Unfortunately this is absolutely not the case, rather disappointing. Curry sauce was delicious, the others we tried weren't as good. You can do it, but you probably don't have to if you're a true fan of fries.

Frittenwerk like in any other city, everything is okay, but nothing special. Recommended.

Unfortunately it looks better than it tastes. Unfortunately, the sweet potato fries weren't crispy at all and overall it was pretty oily. Next time I would order separate fries and sauce as the toppings make the fries quite soggy. Of course it's personal preference.

Modern furnishings and very friendly staff - hence 5 stars for service and ambience. Before my visit, I thought to myself “what could be so special about fries?” and oh man, I had no idea… What’s on offer here isn’t just fries like you know as a side dish next to the schnitzel, but really tasty BASIC main dishes of fries. The real star is the versatile sauces and “side dishes” or “toppings” (as I would describe them). Of course the fries are delicious, but the dishes in particular shine with a good “sauce harmony”. The Tijuana fries are particularly recommended. I would eat here again at any time and can highly recommend it to any visitor.

The frittenwerk branch in Cologne was worth a visit. We particularly liked the unusual side dish variants for the fries that are probably not available anywhere else. The staff was also very nice during our visit and the fries tasted very good. Despite the rush, we didn't have to wait that long. The salad varieties are also great and very large.

It was my first time at this chain. The service from the staff could be much friendlier. The selection is good and it tasted good too. But the price doesn't seem justified to me. The store is very nicely decorated, but the toilet needs to be kept cleaner.
