Was nice to have a taste of home while on vacation. The fries were far better than anything I've had in Canada

The Classic Quebec Poutine is highly recommended. It's a warm vegetarian gravy that pairs perfectly with the melt-in-the-mouth cheese on the fries.

Pure love for fries! Frittenwerk was simply delicious! Our favorite fries: Montreal with mushroom sauce, cheese and radishes, extremely good and really special in taste. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, just like good fries should be. Definitely not the last time, we'll be back!

You can only recommend this place, if you like fries you can't ignore Frittenwerk. Lots of unusual Fritzen combinations. Of course you can also get other things than fries here, but as the name suggests, it's mainly about the fries.

Great shop, friendly young staff. Short waiting time, the order gets funny names and there are funny slogans to read everywhere with reference to "Fries" E.g. Employee shirt with "I'm glad its Friesday". You can discover a funny sentence everywhere, you just have to look. This definitely made the waiting time easier. The food was amazing, 10/10 💯🔥 ✔️

Ordered at 9 p.m. and received a cancellation 1 1/2 hours later. Why are they open until 11 p.m.? What a juice shop!

Yesterday we happened upon the Frittenwerk on Cologne's Ehrenstrasse. The restaurant itself is very cramped but clean. The food is really very tasty. With a waiting time of around 10 minutes for two portions of fries with toppings, you are also well served. Be careful, however, to use the toilet you need a code that is on the receipt. So don't throw it away too quickly.

Death mouth smell of guacamole fries. :( Suggestion for improvement: Cut or pick onions live.

Cheesy Sucuk Love + auf Knoblauchfritten was 4.9 euros and was good to share as a snack between two people. And it's delicious. They made it with garlic flavor, which suits my taste. I am very satisfied with the staff as they are all energetic and friendly.

Food was great until a mouse ran around the store and under the tables. When I pointed out to an employee that there were mice here, he seemed very uninterested and just shrugged his shoulders.

Food okay. Unfortunately, depending on the situation, it's not necessarily possible to get a seat. Disadvantages or shortcomings: the prices are not without their price and unfortunately you can't taste any difference between the garlic fries and house fries even though you pay more. Too bad

Das Essen war kalt, die Pommes waren überdeckt von der Soße, dass man die Pommes nicht schmecken konnte. Für den Preis ist es nicht viel verlangt warmes Essen zu bekommen. Das Personal war nicht Motiviert, freundlich schon. Der Laden war schmutzig, viel lag auf dem Boden und zu guter letzt haben wir eine Maus im Laden laufen sehen. Wir haben das Personal Bescheid gegeben. Leider eine Enttäuschung, wir kennen Fritten Werk anders.

I've been here many times over the past few years for a quick snack. The service workers are always friendly, the fries are good. However, I just have to write a review now because the toilets are always completely filthy. I've never found the toilet to be halfway usable, no matter what time of day it was... there's a sign on the wall saying "please keep the toilet clean" and that seems to be it...

Kindly provide restrooms. The portions are large enough to fill you up, so be careful not to order too much and not finish it.

Plenty of portions and super nice service.. I've been here 4 times now and have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. Unfortunately there aren't that many seating options, but that's probably because it's mostly take-away portions! So I would go there every now and then to satisfy my hunger when I need a break from shopping.

Everyone will find something here, you will always receive friendly service, it tastes good and you will be full. The prices are also reasonable. I can only recommend the store in every respect!!

Very inviting and modern furnishings, good selection of music. The food is great, large portions prepared with care, and very reasonably priced. I also think the vegetarian or vegan alternatives are great. I've been a customer several times, perfect if you're shopping in the city. Staff very friendly, especially the nice cashier.

Peak of insolence!!! I've never experienced anything like that before, I enter the store on Sunday 20 minutes before closing time and after 10 minutes there isn't even a "hello" but "we're closing." Please, how condescending can you treat a customer by not even trying to apologize when I do answer "And you're telling me that after I've stood here for 10 minutes?" (obviously, several employees have seen me). I understand that you want to call it a day, but I couldn't even imagine something so incompetent in terms of service or, more precisely, dealing with people. You are really bottom drawer!!! Pooh

The fries are way too dry, the currywurst is way too hard and the sauce is too spicy. Unfortunately only 1 star

Wow, I have to praise the Frittenwerk team. The food is a dream, as is the location. The building tells the story of a rustic restaurant and arouses curiosity about the delicious fries!!! Gladly again.

The Frittenwerk impresses with solid quality and a quick process - perfect when things have to be done quickly. The fries and toppings are delicious and meet the expectations of good street food. However, there are limited seats, which can be a bit inconvenient at peak times. Important to know: For in-house orders, a deposit is also charged on glass bottles. Overall, a great concept for a quick snack with good quality - the only deduction is for the seating situation.

The food is great and the prices are reasonable. However there's not enough seating available, people stand watching every table and there's often tension between people to get a place to eat.

Frittenwerk is a cute little cafe near Friesenplatz. The staff is very polite and courteous -- the service is world class. We ordered the Tijuana Street Fries and it was very tasty. The cafe is very vegetarian and vegan friendly.

Since we were hungry, we entered without any expectations and had a nice dinner. The potatoes were delicious. We loved the avocado chicken ball. Ms. Pınar was also very interested. We also thank him.

The fries were amazing, everything was tastier than we expected. Falafel and avocado chicken are my favorites. Also thanks to Ms. Pınar!

The location is very cozy, as you would expect from Frittenwerk. The fries were very tasty, I can only recommend the chicken shawarma fries! The African cashier was also very friendly and immediately put a smile on our faces.

Dear chip lovers, I can really only recommend this frit work to you. Top facilities, great staff and the best fries in Cologne. Price-performance-wise 11/10, taste-wise 12/10 and creativity 100/10. What I like best are the cool names on the receipts. I love you Frittenwerk.

As a Canadian travelling to Cologne for work, I didn’t expect to find a little bit of home here. I tried the Currywurst special and it was *delicious*, and it was the perfect marriage of German and Canadian culture in the flavours. If I were staying longer than a few days, I would be making a return trip for another serving. Danke für das Essen!

We didn't really like the tomato, avocado and cucumber salad. But the fries were good.

One word: poutine! Canada's best contribution to global food culture (at least!) in the best fast food restaurant in Cologne...

It was very tasty, fresh vegetables and good quality meat. Nice ambience. So recommended.

It was surprising that all the guests who came after us got their orders before us. When we asked, we were told that there was a lot going on at the moment. So we asked again and it turned out that the order could not be forwarded due to a change in the receipt roll. In total it all took 25 minutes. The food was also delicious, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't really right. 11€ for spiced up fries is pretty crazy...

It was my first time eating currywurst in cologne. The currywurst was ok to me, not like wow amazing. I also ordered the avocado chicken which was nice to bite but when i tasted the filling or the sauce inside, i think it’s the avocado sauce, it was cold. I wondered if these are the microwave oven food? Only outside are hot but cold inside. Chocolate churros was ok, I had better ones. Good place for quick bite, but fast food served faster than the food here. Environment was rather noisy at night time.

You can make a quick, delicious dish with the gourmet block to save some money.

This time it was really disappointing. Staff seems unmotivated and bored. Fries weren't particularly tasty either, as they had already been fried three times. The drink prices are also very outrageous. The best thing is that you have to pay a deposit for on-site consumption and then you don't even get your deposit back!! Great cinema!!

Ordering at the machine doesn't really save time, but of course it saves personnel costs. Since you pick up your order yourself and are supposed to bring the dishes back, I wonder what you should choose to tip for when ordering. The fries taste good and if you're lucky, you'll get more toppings and sauce than shown in the advertising picture.

Unfortunately the bowl was a flop, consisting of 75% only leaf lettuce. The chicken sticks (halal) were good, as were the fries with gravy. The items are all around €8-10, which is relatively expensive.

It was so refreshing to come to an eating establishment that service and food were so GREAT! We didn't have that much time in between our two films we were seeing at the Cologne Film Festival and can't tell you how well we were taken care of by your employees and what a delicious Meal! Nice food but the music is complete garbage

I've been here twice. The food's okay, as expected, but it's super loud in there as the guys at the counter are always yelling names. There should be another way to serve the food instead of screaming.

It was to oily. I tried chickem shawarma poutine. And the whole meal was almost with potato. I was expecting more side ingredients like more avacado, more lettuce, more chicken, more lime. And the proportion is big for one person or maybe I couldn’t finish it because it was to oily. And for the only potato it is a bit pricey.

Totally overrated in my opinion. The topping was OK. The fries, on the other hand, were totally limp, which wasn't because the sauce etc. was on top. The fries simply weren't really cooked through and were still very light. The price wasn't cheap either. 2 portions of fries and 2 small drinks €25. Next time we'll eat somewhere else.

Once great, now chaotic conditions. Only 1 out of 4 terminals work, only 1 out of 4 employees seem friendly and service-oriented - the others argue and forget my order.

Had the Istanbul Street Fries. The taste was okay but nothing special either. The portion was decent and the price was okay too. You can definitely go there.

Had paprika chili, tasty something different; but for me as a sauce fan a little little. Price-performance ratio ok Since I was only slightly hungry, I will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Freundlicher Service an der Theke. Für ein fast food Restaurant schönes Ambiente. Außengastro vorhanden Knusprige hausgemachte Fritten, die perfekt gesalzen waren. Viele interessante Saucen. Hatte Paprika-Chili, schmackhaft mal was anderes; aber für mich als Saucen Fan etwas wenig. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis o.k Da ich nur kleinen Hunger hatte werde ich auf jedenfall wiederkommen, um die anderen Gerichte zu probieren.
