After 1.5 hours and a lot of cheeky comments from a dark-haired waitress, who insisted she was right even though she hadn't served the group from the beginning, the food finally arrived. (The guests remained calm and only asked if the food was ready.) Meanwhile, the group unfortunately had to listen to more stupid comments from behind the counter. In addition, we vaguely overheard the same waitress having a heated argument with another table, insisting she was right again. So, unfortunately, due to certain behaviors of certain employees, it's only partially recommended; you feel uncomfortable with your own treatment or the rude treatment of other guests. The rest of the team was friendly!!

I had a spectacular grilled cuttlefish and a delicious house-made lamb. Everything was well-seasoned, and the service was excellent. It's nice to be able to find such a good Spanish restaurant when you're away from home.

The location in the city center is fantastic. Especially when the weather's nice, you can sit outside. However, I find €7.50 for a sliced ​​tomato with raw onion rings ("tomato salad") a bit steep! Combined with the long wait times for food and service, the price just doesn't work for me.

I was there as part of the Un(n)a Festa. Very nice shop.

Many of the tapas are not only swimming in oil, but are also very spicy and salty. I don't remember it being that extreme from our trips to Spain. It was very heavy in the stomach. The price for tapas might be normal - you should definitely expect €30-40 per person. The restaurant was full and unfortunately the kitchen couldn't quite keep up. We had to wait >75 minutes for the food (only the bread was brought straight away). If you don't have the time, you should use less busy days.

We go to this restaurant especially in Unna, super delicious food. Presentation and quality of the food is excellent. Top service, waiters and waitresses very attentive, great, fine little atmosphere, happy again and again…

There's nothing wrong with that at all. Tapas were super tasty, the service somehow accommodated us without a reservation and the ambience in the ancient half-timbered house is unique.

Wir hatten uns sehr auf diesen Abend gefreut und hatten einen Tisch mit einer zeitlichen Begrenzung (2 stunden) reserviert. Leider haben wir weder das bestellte Wasser, noch Tapas bekommen. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit und bereits bestellten Tapas, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es kein Essen für uns gebe, da die Küche mit der Vielzahl an Personen im Restaurant überfordert sei. Wir mussten leider das Restaurant hungrig verlassen und waren sehr enttäuscht. Eine Entschädigung gab es leider nicht…

Everything was great all round, but the price was a bit high. Since it's always small things, you can easily order 4-6, which have their price and it will easily add up to at least €30 per person. Then there are drinks... so if you have to pay attention to your budget, be careful and think carefully when choosing. But I found that it was quite common for a Spanish restaurant.

Very, very tasty dishes. The service is also very good. The seats outside right on the ring were too loud for us, so we got a nice seat inside where no noise from the traffic could be heard.

Food was OK, but relatively expensive. Since the store was full we waited 1.5 hours. Because it was so full, it was also very loud, you almost had to shout at each other. I don't think we'll come back.

Very good Spanish tapas bar. When the weather is nice you can sit outside quite well. The staff is also friendly. I tried the marinated steaks and the meatballs in tomato sauce there, both tasted really good. Only the portions could be a little larger, but they are generally smaller for tapas. But otherwise it was really nice there. A visit there is worth it.

Tapas are larger than usual in other restaurants, you have to share in order to be able to try a lot. Meat, vegetables and potatoes very tasty.

I'll go out on a limb and say: I've never had Spanish food outside of Spain that was as good as it is here. Everything here is right down to the last detail. Excellent food, a great sangria and very friendly and attentive service. We'd love to come back.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food came to the table quickly and was delicious. I would think it would be nice if it was clear on the menu whether the dishes they prepare are vegan. In principle, the restaurant is recommended.

The food was tasty. The service wasn't really 🌟 capable during my visit. Once some orders were not fulfilled. On the other hand, when the food was brought out, only the Spanish name of the food was mentioned. The number of the courts had to be looked up first. It's a shame that we as customers can't speak Spanish. The bread 🍞 was announced as toasted in the menu. But I didn't see or taste any of it. I found the ham to have a very subtle taste. Price-wise it was okay. The toilet 🚽 is two floors below and without an elevator.

Immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen ist klasse, die Location sehr urig. Definitiv nicht preiswert, aber jeden Euro wert.

Super leckeres Allerlei, alle Sachen, von Gemüse über Huhn bis Fisch sehr gut. Das Personal ist nett und das Ambiente ist auch so, wie man es häufig in Spanien erlebt. Mit ca 40€ pro Person muss man rechnen, ist aber völlig okay. Da gehen wir bald wieder hin. Anmeldung nicht vergessen.

Wir waren in Unna zu Besuch und waren in unserer Heimat Köln schon in diversen Tapas-Restaurants. Es hat uns lange nicht mehr so gut geschmeckt wie hier. Alle bestellten Tapas waren qualitativ und geschmacklich super. Zudem ein gemütlicher Gastraum und sehr herzlicher Service. Ein perfekter Abend und klare Empfehlung!

Wir haben dort einen schönen Abend verbracht. Wir wurden nett und freundlich bedient. In dem kleinen Raum war die Geräuschkulisse sehr laut und man musste angestrengt zuhören und sich unterhalten zu können.

Einfach super. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen und das Wetter auf der Terasse genossen. Die Nähe zum Ring hat überhaupt nicht gestört.

Früher waren wir vom Tapas begeistert. Gestern seit Langem mal wieder dort gegessen. Fazit: Semi.. Wein: geht so, Wartezeit: sehr lang, Tapas: von sehr lecker bis geschmacklos, Service: erst ‚Naja‘.. nachher gut.. Schade!

Es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Essen wurde heiß serviert. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich, nett und sehr aufmerksam.

Abends gut im Biergarten gesessen

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, trotz voll belegten Tischen war die Lautstärke okay. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit, kamen oft zu den Tischen. Das Abräumen des Geschirrs erfolgte auch zügig. Das Essen war ausnahmslos sehr lecker. Kommen wieder!

Es passt einfach alles , leckere Speisen guter Wein und andere Getränke. Bester Service.

Uriges Ambiente in einem Fachwerkhaus, erinnert mich an eine tolle Tapasbar in Barcelona, wo ein Raum nur durch die Küche zu erreichen war. Sehr freundlicher Service, trotz Samstagabendstress. Auffällig das nette Miteinander der Kollegen. Der Abend war etwas Paella lastig, aber die Paella Valencia und die Tapas waren gut und authentisch. Bei den Tapas auch welche, die es nicht überall gibt... Dazu San Miguel vom Fass und eine große Auswahl ordentlicher Weine. Alles zu realistischen Preisen.

Super Tapas in Unna. Wir waren gestern Abend nach dem Lockdown wieder hier zum Essen. Sehr schöner Platz im Biergarten. Sehr freundliches Personal..wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren heute mit Freunden dort und haben ca. 15 Gerichte probiert. Alles war gut, solide, zwar etwas schwach gewürzt (was man mit etwas Salz jedoch selbst abstimmen konnte), aber jedem kann man es ja nicht ganz recht machen. Insofern ist das eine geringe Kritik. Der Service war sehr nett und einen Digestif gab es aufs Haus. Die Atmosphäre war wie immer gemütlich und authentisch. Also immer wieder gerne.

Obviamente siendo española tienes siempre dudas si el restaurante va a ser bueno o no, esté sin duda sobrepasó todas mis expectativas! La comida riquísima y el trato del personal excelente 😊 volveremos sin duda😍

Klar man überlässt die Wahl des Restaurant demjenigen der einen eingeladen hat. Trotz der Erfahrungen aus der Vergangenheit war das Essen und der Wein köstlich, die Bedienung freundlich und unaufdringlich in einer gemüdlichen Athmosphäre. Ein Gemisch von kanarischen und katalanischen Tapas Kurz ein gelungener Abend. Gerne wieder

By far one of the best meals while I was in Germany! Loved this restaurant! Food was very good and moderately priced. Try everything.......we had about eight different dishes and they were all great. My favorites were the potatoes Brava and the meat balls. They do not accept credit cards as most resturants in Germany don't. Have Euros on hand.

Contrary to the latest April 2014 review, my family an I never miss a chance to go to this tapas restaurant. We discovered it quite a few years ago and on every trip to Unna (visiting my wife's family) we schedule a dinner there. Since we get to Unna once or twice a year, this makes us "regulars". The restaurant is located in a very historical quarter of the city and the building is an authentic half-timbered (fachwerk) structure. The service is always excellent and the food is delicious. The only problem with the food is that it is so good, I (we) always overeat and pay the price later! We have two small children (pre-teen) who, in spite of being fussy eaters (gourmets actually) especially love the gambas and boquerones. We're going there again in a couple of weeks and my mouth is already watering. If you're in Unna, don't miss this little corner of Spain.

After reading the reviews for this Restaurant, I decided I just had to try it whilst on a business trip to Unna. I started off in error in the adjoining bar/cafe call "The Bodega" which is under the same ownership. The Waiter/Bar Man recommended I try the Restaurant as they had a better selection of tapas and it was more ambient. Before acting on his advice, I asked him if they accepeted Credit Cards and he insisted there was no problem. Once entering the restaurant I was greeted by a Waiter who did not speak Spanish, but had a fair command of English which helped and was very pleasant. I ordered three tapas, Tortilla, Gambas Pil Pil and Patatas Bravas. Nothing extraordinary and did not require lengthy preparation. After a very long wait, the tapas eventually arrived and I can only say with honesty that it was a huge disappoinment. The Gambas Pil-Pil was flavourless and the prawns were literally drowning in oil. To add insult to injury, they were also half peeled! The Tortilla was cooked in the style of a French Omelette and it's density and taste came nothing close to a traditional Spanish Tortilla. Needless to say, the Patatas Bravas faired no better - they were overcooked and I would imagine from the appearance and taste that they had probably been refried two or three times. So very disappointing to say the least. However, the final straw came when I requested my bill and when I presented a Credit Card, I was told that they did not accept MasterCard. I then offered them Visa and was told that they didn't acceot that either. I then proffered my American Express Card, only to be told that Amex was also unacceptable. I was by this time completed astounded and explained that the Waiter next door had told me there was no problem with Credit Cards. At this stage a Waitress had arrived for duty and said she would try each card with the machine as she didn't understand why it would not work. Unfortunately, her efforts were wasted. I then asked how the people on the table opposite were able to settle their bill with a Card and was told it was because they had a German Credit Card with a German Bank. I was incredulous at this statement and suggested that they should put a notice up advising customers that only Cash or German Debit/Credit Cards were accepted. Fortunately, I had sufficient cash to settle the account and let it be known that I would not be returning and neither would I recommend the establishment to colleagues either local or those visiting from global locations, I truly cannot and will not, recommend Restaurant
