Great food and good service but unfortunately no bathroom

The food was really tasty, just a little different. Absolutely recommended! The people are really nice, the service is great. There is a bit of a lack of comfortable furniture to create a feel-good atmosphere. We would be happy to come back if we get the chance.

I was really excited about this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a total disappointment. The service was extremely slow – we had to wait over 30 minutes before anyone even took our order. The food arrived lukewarm and tasted anything but fresh. My steak was tough and overcooked, even though I ordered it medium. The side dishes seemed unloved and flavorless. The staff was also unfriendly, and we felt more like a burden than valued guests. The prices are completely exorbitant for the quality. The only good thing here was the decor – but unfortunately, you can't fill yourself up with it. Definitely not a recommendation!

Delicious food and fast service

Authentic Syrian-Arabic cuisine – a real surprise! I went to a Syrian-Arab restaurant for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food tasted! The Sahara in Gelsenkirchen not only offers a great selection of traditional dishes, but also a warm atmosphere and friendly service. The spices and flavors are perfectly balanced, the dishes are fresh and prepared with a lot of love. If you like oriental cuisine or just want to try something new, you should definitely stop by here. I'll definitely be back!

More than once, guests came with me in an attempt to be better than before, but unfortunately, bad service and a rancid smell in the bathrooms, and also the shawarma.
