The atmosphere was very old school, but you'll know that if you've seen the pictures beforehand. But overall it fits very well with this type of restaurant

A single annoyance We visited the Rutenberg Grill and Schnitzel House on Huestraße in Essen and were absolutely disappointed. After a 45-minute wait, the schnitzels finally arrived – unfortunately, they were completely inedible. Far too thick, tough, partially burnt, and the sauce was rancid. A complete disappointment in terms of taste. Neither the quality nor the service was up to scratch. Definitely the first and last time for us!
