I was visiting Essen for two days and ate there twice: once I had beef fillet with vegetables, once I had ribeye with salad. The meat was great and cooked perfectly. The staff were very attentive. You then only pay for what you want to eat. Since we also have BLOCK HOUSE in Stuttgart, I will also eat there. Thanks for the positive experience. (Since there is a lot of begging in the pedestrian zone in Essen, I wouldn't sit outside.)

All in all okay, but I didn't like the Djuvec rice at all because it was probably made with pickled peppers instead of fresh. I ate the grill plate mix and it was okay. Before the pandemic, the food was m.m.n. but better...

Hallo ! ... ich habe das Chicago-Steakhouse viele Jahre lang geschätzt, leider geht die Qualität immer weiter zurück und die Preise nach oben. Die Karte wurde deutlich reduziert ... Der Service ist gut, wenn man bekannt ist und nicht gerade die "Jungs aus der Szene" da sind - dann ist man leider an Platz "ganz weit hinten" ! ... die steaks werden fließbandartig auf den Tisch geknallt und sind von einem guten Steak "auf den Punkt" weit entfernt ... gleiches gilt für die Beilagen .... wir kommen in den Bereich des teuren fast-foods - Convience lässt grüßen ... Schade ! ... wir kommen ab und zu nochmal vorbei und hoffen auf Besserung ....
