The "Queen of Texas" restaurant in 26676 Barßel, at Deichstrasse 2b, is located directly on Harkebrügger See, a beautifully reconstructed paddle steamer moored at anchor. This American steakhouse is a successful dining experience that is second to none. From delicious, juicy spare ribs to various superbly prepared steaks with your choice of side dishes, your palate will find its own special treat. The decor is superbly inspired by the Mexican-Texan flair, a feast for the eyes for everyone. The extremely charming and friendly waiters will help you choose or create your own side dishes. The furniture is inspired by the South American theme and also helps you transport yourself to South America while eating. Accessible, free parking is available nearby. Also worth mentioning is the wonderful outdoor seating with a view of the lake and the boats. All in all, I give it 5 stars.

The food is still very good, but the portions feel smaller and the prices have risen slightly. But meat is still of good quality. Unfortunately we had to go to the bar to pay because in the end the staff didn't even come to our table.

Hier wird man verarscht Rinderfilet 34 Euro mit kalter folienkartoffel und ekligen kräuterbutter Tagliatelle mit gambas sahen aus wie schon mal gegessen. Für diese schlechte Qualität viel zu teuer Das Geld kann mann sich sparen

Been there for lunch. A well-heated restaurant in a nice rustic atmosphere and the very friendly owner welcomed us. We had veal liver and stuffed cevapcici from the lunch menu. It tasted wonderful and there was even a delicious vegetable soup beforehand. By the way, everything including the toilets was very clean and attractive. We were completely satisfied and would like to come back.

Essen gut aber überteuert, fast unverschämt die Burgerpreise. Auch die Cocktails sind überteuert und schlecht zubereitet. Vor drei Jahren war das anders! Leider nicht mehr zu empfehlen :(

“The chef explained to me that he couldn't make the fried potatoes without bacon, otherwise they would be tasteless. When I asked if the mushrooms were also with bacon, I only received the answer: 'Of course not, I'm not stupid.' Overall OK, menu varied, the background noise is currently too high, there is no acoustic ceiling, the team still has to get used to it
