We were guests here with friends. We were the only guests. That made us slightly suspicious. The waitress was solely responsible for the kitchen and service. After a short conversation, the order was taken. The drinks were on the table quickly. The food also came very quickly. Quality of the food is OK, but not amazing. But the fries were exactly as they should be. Simply delicious. The atmosphere was more like a pub than a restaurant. Prices are ok.
We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday there in February with over 50 young people. We had booked the all-round carefree package with all drinks, service and final cleaning. We provided the food ourselves and some with catering. But you can also just rent the room, which is equipped with a music system, great lighting and a projector. Room rent is partially taken into account in the carefree package. We had a great celebration and would do it there again and again.
All the staff and the owners are very friendly.
There were 5 of us for a happy reunion with delicious food. But unfortunately something has changed in the restaurant kitchen. The meat is too hard so that it is difficult to cut or chew. The expensive goulash soup was very thin and more like an oxtail soup with about 10 pieces of meat. It's a shame, we'll choose another restaurant next time we meet.
Landhaus Schönebeck is a recommended address for lovers of German cuisine in Wuppertal. With its cozy ambiance, a diverse menu, and predominantly positive service, it offers a pleasant setting for family celebrations, romantic dinners, or social gatherings. Advance reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, to avoid waiting times.
