The service was impeccable, asked questions, and was attentive.
The ambiance is fine. I've known Koya for several years, and I don't mind the unobstructed view of stacked crates of drinks.
BUT...
My portion cost €19 and I wasn't full...
You can compare it to the lime wedge...
There was a bit of beef, about 4 tablespoons of noodles, 2 shrimp, 2 squid rings, and vegetables.
It tasted good, but the portion size was too small. Filling side dishes don't cost the earth, and I can understand that we all have to save money. But that was just sad 😑
We celebrated our son's communion in the restaurant and were looking forward to a lovely day with family and friends. Unfortunately, the service on this special occasion did not quite meet our expectations.
The waitress rarely came by to ask for drinks, and used dishes and glasses were largely not cleared away. Sometimes we had to put away the dishes and cutlery ourselves to make room for serving the cake. Even after I asked the staff to help us set up the cake, unfortunately a lot of it was left to us.
Especially at a celebration, we would have liked more attention and support so that we could enjoy the day with less stress.
The food was good and the rooms were attractive, but the overall impression was significantly marred by poor service.
We hope that the restaurant will pay even more attention to service during celebrations in the future and wish the team all the best.
The service was very good, the staff was friendly, and the welcome was warm. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing – some of the dishes weren't quite fresh. I had a stomach ache for a while after the meal.
The lady on the phone takes herself a little too seriously and is very unfriendly. The driver didn't speak any German so there was no communication... The pizza wasn't enjoyable and unfortunately neither were the pizza rolls. Not recommended!
So where do we start? Burnt pizza, ordered kebab pizza where you had to look for the meat, too many tomatoes on it and cheese wasn't great to find because it was burnt. Ordered pasta totally peppery and burnt like the pizzas. How should I put it? If I were you today, I would try a little harder. I read people's opinions too late. I should have done it before. And as owners you should do this too. Nadine Fraser
New: now half a chicken costs €6! Price-performance ratio is out of proportion!
First review with 5/5 stars: Very tasty chicken for €5 or €2.50 for a half. Nice service.
The food tastes excellent, from lasagne to casseroles and of course the pizzas, not to mention the tiramisu. Already tried almost everything on the menu.
I was very surprised because of the bad reviews, but then I was reassured. Almost all of the bad reviews have to do with the new, external delivery service Wolt, for which Pizza Toni per se cannot do anything. So don't let that put you off. The quality is really very good. We keep coming back.
We had our daughter's birthday party. Everything was perfect. The food was super tasty and the staff was very nice. The view of the pond was very nice. Strongly recommended.
