Oily schnitzel with undercooked rösti pieces. Everyone has different tastes, it wasn't to my liking. Service is self-service.

Delicious food, very friendly service, good quality, good selection, lovely atmosphere. What everyone should be aware of is that it's a self-service restaurant. But a really good one. We'll gladly come back.

It's a shame they offer self-service. With the menu and prices, it would be nice to have table service. The food itself is very tasty, though. It's disappointing that the steak is served with just a pat of herb butter. The presentation is rather uninspired. A small salad or some fries would have been a nice addition. However, there's absolutely nothing to criticize about the taste. It's advisable to reserve in advance; otherwise, you might have made the trip for nothing.

We had a reservation for Monday at 6 PM. Unfortunately, they were already out of pork knuckles and ribs. After a frustrating ordering process in a long queue (canteen-like), we had to pay immediately. You get a digital pager when your food is ready and are supposed to pick it up yourself. (No service.) One pager didn't work. As a result, one guest waited 30 minutes in vain for their food. Payment via PayPal is offered for additional orders placed at the table. This worked initially. However, upon leaving the restaurant, the staff refused to acknowledge this and were only satisfied after showing the PayPal confirmation email. Conclusion: No service. A terrible shopping experience. The self-service payment method doesn't work. Canteen atmosphere. Prices are too high. Thanks, but thank you, never again...

We ordered takeaway food there today, which involved a wait, as they were serving orders "in order" despite having pre-ordered. The order was a 250g rump steak (probably overcooked, as it only weighed 170g on the plate, and yes, I'm aware that weight loss can occur, but not usually this much), served with fried potatoes, veal schnitzel with tendons, salad, and half a chicken. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right; my expectations were too high. The chicken and salad were good, but the steak and schnitzel were really disappointing. Three stars, well-intentioned – it's clear that not all the products are suitable for a fast-food chain.

A fantastic place to eat. The menu is well-balanced and varied, so there's something for everyone. The service is amazing; I was there with my family, and no matter what the situation, we were handled professionally and very kindly. We'll definitely be eating there more often.

Everything was fresh, perfectly flavorful, and simply delicious. You can immediately tell the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting. You feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

We used to come here very often because the food was always delicious and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately, that has changed significantly. The restaurant is extremely crowded, which means you have to wait a long time for your food. On top of that, the prices have increased dramatically. Half a chicken now costs €9.90. For comparison, at Heinemann's in Herzebrock-Clarholz, you can get half a chicken for €5.90, and it's considerably larger. In our opinion, the prices here are no longer reasonable for a self-service restaurant. Therefore, we unfortunately won't be coming back anytime soon.

We had the currywurst platter. Preparation was quick. The sausage was a bit too burnt at one end. I've definitely had better curry sauce. The price was also too high. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and it was cozy.

We ate at Brinkmann's Braterei on December 6th. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. Point 1: The ambiance was okay, but more like an upscale cafeteria than a restaurant. Point 2: There was absolutely no table service. What kind of world do we live in where you spend €20-30 per person on food and then receive no service at all? Point 3: The system at this restaurant is comparable to a swimming pool cafeteria. You have to order your food yourself at an ordering terminal, then get a buzzer that tells you when your food is ready, and finally, you have to pick up and take your food away. Point 3: But the worst thing for me personally was the schnitzel. I ate such a bad schnitzel. My "Gypsy sauce" was simply a can of tomatoes with a few bits of vegetables—that's exactly what it tasted like. The meat wasn't any better than the schnitzel you get at a convenience store. My wife had a better experience with the baked potato. But a baked potato with mushrooms for €14.50? That doesn't justify it. Or a Manta platter for ten euros is ridiculous. Anyone who wants a McDonald's-like experience with a few kids can go there, right? This is all just my opinion and certainly doesn't represent everyone's. But we live in a society where everything is getting more expensive, even though now it seems the service is being completely cut and is only being provided by students, and the kitchen is just serving ready-made meals.

It was actually good, but a bit odd was that the Camembert schnitzel (veggie version) still had ham on top. When I asked about it, they explained that you have to explicitly order it without ham. That's certainly debatable... Otherwise, clean, friendly, and delicious.

Disappointing and infuriating – beware when ordering! We were hungry and looking forward to grilled chicken at Brinkmann's today. Ordering at the counter started off smoothly, and the staff were friendly. However, we had to wait about 35 minutes for our food – quite a long time for a takeout order, but still acceptable. When our order was finally ready, I immediately noticed that the quantity was wrong – after all, we had ordered almost €90 worth of food. When I pointed this out, the man at the counter reacted very brusquely and simply replied: "That's exactly what you ordered." Then came the big disappointment at home: almost half of our order was missing, even though I had specifically asked. So, for around €30, we got nothing – and we were still hungry. My advice to other customers: Check your order very carefully right there and then and don't let them fob you off. It's a shame, because the place itself makes a good impression, but after this experience we won't be back anytime soon. There are plenty of other grill shops that know how to pack food properly.

This was my first time here. I ordered the Milanese cutlet, and it wasn't good, full of oil. The average draft beer was good. The service wasn't great; they should at least be friendly, but not even that. €25 for a cutlet and beer. I recommend not ordering the cutlet; my colleague ordered a burger, and it was good.

We enjoyed the food. The burger patties were cooked well and juicy. The fries were delicious and hot. We ordered our food at the counter and had to be picked up with a pager. The servers were very friendly. The restroom was clean.

Disappointed! Second attempt, and no use... Just like last time, the patty on the kids' (!!!) menu wasn't cooked! Despite us mentioning it beforehand, asking them to take care of it... We won't be back....

As always, the world's most delicious chicken! A little tip: Put a little "instruction sheet" on the tables explaining how to order, drinks, etc. That's how it works. If you're a rare visitor or it's your first time, you'll always have to wait a bit at your table for nothing...

Honestly, if you come in and see 15 people at the checkout trying to order, and you have to wait 20 minutes to pay because you only ordered something to take away... You definitely need to organize this better and use the second checkout that's already there.

The ambiance and staff are absolutely fantastic 🙂 The food is awful 😭 They call themselves a roastery, but the schnitzels are prepared in a deep fryer -- is that even possible??? The chicken tastes just like it's from the cart, only it's almost twice as expensive. The bratwurst - more fat than meat. The fries - you probably can't get any cheaper. Overall - an extremely highly optimized operation.

This was our second time eating there, and it was delicious again. The sweet potato fries are highly recommended; they're always worth the extra cost. Our child enthusiastically ordered and devoured the kids' burger menu again. Ingenious concept, great food, fair prices. We'll be back often.

I got the Brinkmann Burger to go there yesterday. It came with fries, and I paid a total of €19.90. Fried fries were just fries. The burger was significantly smaller than at the Roadhouse, more expensive, and a complete disappointment in terms of taste. The meat patties were extremely dry and tough. Since I was five minutes early, my burger wasn't ready yet, so I was able to watch it being made. The patties were already sitting in the warming corner of the grill when I arrived – God knows how long they had been. When the cook took them away, I was about to protest. The bottom line: I paid €20, was extremely disappointed, and wished I were at the Roadhouse or even McD's! At McD's, I can get the M Burger for less than €10, and it beats the Brinkmann in every way. Never again, and I'll tell my friends that. €20... still annoys me!

I should have been more attentive when I was asked about every single side dish; that wasn't the case in the past. I only realized the full extent of the obviously increased prices when I was paying. The price for two dishes plus the sides and a drink each is by no means reasonable, given the fact that there is no service there. There are plenty of alternatives. Bye...

We were cycling nearby and after a while we looked for a restaurant and found one. It's not easy to park your bikes here, and although there's a bit of a lack of space, several people arrive with bikes. The restaurant is very nicely designed; everything seems very new. The seats are very comfortable and nicely furnished. However, what's a bit odd are the restrooms. They're quite cramped. You have to order your own food. No waiters will come. You have to order your own food. Then a device rings and you have to pick up the food. Cutlery and plates have to be taken away again. It was all a bit strange at first, but okay. The food itself was quite tasty. However, a few things were a bit disappointing. In terms of value for money, it was a bit overpriced for the portion. The fries and burger were cut into one plate, which bothered me. All the sauce ran out. This just made the fries soggy. They should normally be separated. Overall, my conclusion: The restaurant is very nicely designed. You feel very comfortable. Everything is great. Eating something new is okay, and it tastes good, but for the price, a one-time experience is a bit expensive for me personally, and not particularly worth it.

It's a nice restaurant where you can go and eat. It's important to note that this restaurant does NOT have waiters who come to your table. You have to get your own drinks and food. Well, it's a rather nicely designed chip shop. The fries are delicious, well-seasoned, and crispy. That's where it ends... Widow Bolte Chicken... what used to be great and a signature dish is now dried out and tasteless, a potato and cucumber salad... all I can taste is mayo! They also served a rubber roll that tasted of nothing. The beer was cold. The counter service was friendly, but they were only counter service... I'll look for other places... a real flop!

The dining room is truly beautiful, spacious, and bright after the renovation. There were 10 of us there. We were able to get the food for everyone at once; everything was delicious and perfectly tempered. It was very busy that day, but everything was still top-notch. The concept at this burger restaurant is self-service. First, you sit down, look at the menu, and then order at the counter. Drinks are then prepared immediately and can be taken to your table. You also receive a pager that vibrates as soon as the food is ready. The food is delicious; each of our dishes was perfectly prepared, and all our special requests were handled flawlessly. We'd be happy to return!

The bratwurst had no roasted flavors and looked almost like a white sausage—which I wouldn't expect at this price. The portion of fries was tiny, and they only served with plain mayonnaise. The sauce, too, unfortunately, tasted more like pure ketchup than a proper curry sauce. €9.50 for a Manta platter is pretty awful.

Offering a Manta platter for €9.50 (!) is insane. When it looks like a white sausage and has no roasted flavor, the sauce tastes like ketchup, and you get packet mayo, I doubt their expertise when it comes to food. The worst Manta platter of my entire life so far. The nice ambiance is unfortunately of no use.

Unfortunately, we couldn't find any information indicating that this was self-service. Other tables were served, so we assumed it was a waitress-only restaurant (something they should reconsider, given the prices). Or at least leave information on the table for guests.

The food is top-notch. The pick-up service should be reconsidered, especially given the prices, as the staff at the counter and cash register don't seem particularly motivated. The kitchen staff in the front cooking area, however, are extremely friendly and very helpful. The redesign is very successful. The ambiance is fantastic. I highly recommend it. The chicken schnitzel was excellent, the baked chicken gyro was also excellent, as were the sweet potato fries that came with it. We had pan-fried vegetables and potato salad as sides, which were also good. The only thing that tasted strange were the fried potatoes. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly why. It was either the oil or a seasoning. The potatoes themselves were good.

Ordering was extremely straightforward and stress-free. The concept impressively demonstrates that a restaurant can be successful even without waitresses. Ample parking is available directly in front of the restaurant. The ambiance and decor, which harmoniously blend modernity, nature, and country style, are, in my opinion, excellently executed. The food was prepared quickly and tasted excellent. The price range of €10–20 per person is entirely justified. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
