The food on offer is like you would find at a good roadhouse and is great value for money and tastes great.

We were cycling nearby and after a while we looked for a restaurant and found one. It's not easy to park your bikes here, and although there's a bit of a lack of space, several people arrive with bikes. The restaurant is very nicely designed; everything seems very new. The seats are very comfortable and nicely furnished. However, what's a bit odd are the restrooms. They're quite cramped. You have to order your own food. No waiters will come. You have to order your own food. Then a device rings and you have to pick up the food. Cutlery and plates have to be taken away again. It was all a bit strange at first, but okay. The food itself was quite tasty. However, a few things were a bit disappointing. In terms of value for money, it was a bit overpriced for the portion. The fries and burger were cut into one plate, which bothered me. All the sauce ran out. This just made the fries soggy. They should normally be separated. Overall, my conclusion: The restaurant is very nicely designed. You feel very comfortable. Everything is great. Eating something new is okay, and it tastes good, but for the price, a one-time experience is a bit expensive for me personally, and not particularly worth it.

The food is comparatively very expensive for what you get, and not outstanding. A burger for €15 without fries, which you have to buy for almost €6 extra, is unacceptable in my opinion. The mushrooms were also rather weak. For around €10, you only get mushrooms without any side dish. The prices are also self-imposed, although the staff are very friendly.

It's a nice restaurant where you can go and eat. It's important to note that this restaurant does NOT have waiters who come to your table. You have to get your own drinks and food. It's an interesting concept, but if you're in a group, more people will obviously have to help carry the drinks and food. It's not really my concept, hence the four stars. The food was very tasty, and the ingredients are all locally sourced. See for yourself and try it.

Well, it's a rather nicely designed chip shop. The fries are delicious, well-seasoned, and crispy. That's where it ends... Widow Bolte Chicken... what used to be great and a signature dish is now dried out and tasteless, a potato and cucumber salad... all I can taste is mayo! They also served a rubber roll that tasted of nothing. The beer was cold. The counter service was friendly, but they were only counter service... I'll look for other places... a real flop!

The dining room is truly beautiful, spacious, and bright after the renovation. There were 10 of us there. We were able to get the food for everyone at once; everything was delicious and perfectly tempered. It was very busy that day, but everything was still top-notch. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

We love eating here; we've been there several times this year and have never been disappointed! The renovations have been fantastic, and the food is absolutely fantastic.

The concept at this burger restaurant is self-service. First, you sit down, look at the menu, and then order at the counter. Drinks are then prepared immediately and can be taken to your table. You also receive a pager that vibrates as soon as the food is ready. The food is delicious; each of our dishes was perfectly prepared, and all our special requests were handled flawlessly. We'd be happy to return!

Offering a Manta platter for €9.50 (!) is insane. When it looks like a white sausage and has no roasted flavor, the sauce tastes like ketchup, and you get packet mayo, I doubt their expertise when it comes to food. The worst Manta platter of my entire life so far. The nice ambiance is unfortunately of no use.

The bratwurst had no roasted flavors and looked almost like a white sausage—which I wouldn't expect at this price. The portion of fries was tiny, and they only served with plain mayonnaise. The sauce, too, unfortunately, tasted more like pure ketchup than a proper curry sauce. €9.50 for a Manta platter is pretty awful.

A super delicious lunch. We had a Wiener veal schnitzel and a pork knuckle. Both were very tender and flavorful.

Unfortunately, we couldn't find any information indicating that this was self-service. Other tables were served, so we assumed it was a waitress-only restaurant (something they should reconsider, given the prices). Or at least leave information on the table for guests.

The food is top-notch. The pick-up service should be reconsidered, especially given the prices, as the staff at the counter and cash register don't seem particularly motivated. The kitchen staff in the front cooking area, however, are extremely friendly and very helpful. The redesign is very successful. The ambiance is fantastic. However, I'm more than skeptical about charging €10 for a Manta platter.

Overall, nothing special. The quality is good. The taste is nothing special. The price is very expensive, and the portions are quite small. You have to serve yourself, and the menu is very small. I probably won't go back, as I get more and better quality at other places.

It's a self-service restaurant. You order your drinks and bring them to your table, you order your food and get an "alarm" when it's ready and you fetch it yourself, along with the knives and forks. The food is ok, nothing special, it's not restaurant quality. After you've finished you clear your table. Not the best dining experience, won't rush back.

After the bike ride, a cold drink and a Manta platter were the order of the day at the "new" roastery! 5 stars for a successful renovation and kudos to the friendly lady at the cash register. The Manta platter, on the other hand, was a complete disappointment – ​​a lukewarm sausage with a tiny portion of fries at a hefty price. They should have gotten up and returned the food directly to the counter. Unfortunately, this was my last visit there, and I was extremely annoyed!

Ordered food online... got this!! A fries for almost 6 euros!! When I asked if that was right, they simply offered me a credit for next time!! I've eaten here several times, but this was the last time!! A disgrace and no service at all!! This is how you can refinance the renovations!!

I highly recommend it. The chicken schnitzel was excellent, the baked chicken gyro was also excellent, as were the sweet potato fries that came with it. We had pan-fried vegetables and potato salad as sides, which were also good. The only thing that tasted strange were the fried potatoes. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly why. It was either the oil or a seasoning. The potatoes themselves were good.

Ordering was extremely straightforward and stress-free. The concept impressively demonstrates that a restaurant can be successful even without waitresses. Ample parking is available directly in front of the restaurant. The ambiance and decor, which harmoniously blend modernity, nature, and country style, are, in my opinion, excellently executed. The food was prepared quickly and tasted excellent. The price range of €10–20 per person is entirely justified. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall, a highly recommended place for a delicious meal.

We ate at your place yesterday and unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. We had ribs which were lukewarm to cold, silver skin on the bone which is not tasty. Fried potatoes from the fryer were full of fat. The salad was tasty. The burgers had a really tasty bun and iceberg lettuce which was cut into very large pieces. The chicken burger was the same. Your sauces for the ribs and burgers could be made from the outside rather than just from the bottle. We spoke to your chef and I could have done without it. He blamed everything on management. Fried potatoes from a bag can also taste good. It should be quality which the customer pays for. I would have liked to have told you this in person, but we were told you didn't have time. Even nicer since the renovation. Much more space, more privacy between seats, more breathing room. Before, it was much more cramped. It's become truly beautiful. The food has always been delicious. And even if you're just having a drink and therefore not at the most lucrative table of the evening, you're treated respectfully and (often) are kindly escorted out after closing time. I always feel at home there. Thanks to the friendly staff.

A disappointing experience. We came to celebrate my wife's birthday, but after waiting an hour and 15 minutes for our food, we were extremely disappointed. Other guests who arrived after us were served before us, and our requests were unsuccessful. We were told we would be next, which wasn't the case! Chaos reigned here. Such poor service is unacceptable. Would you recommend it? Definitely not. We won't set foot in this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the vegetarian burger. The chicken burger was okay, but the vegetarian version was a real disaster: completely unseasoned, very dry, and almost impossible to swallow, and the vegetables were completely flavorless. It's a real shame, especially with vegetarian dishes, seasoning is key. There's definitely room for improvement.

If I order a Jägerschnitzel, fries are included (or so they think). When I picked up my Jägerschnitzel, I was told that I had to order the fries separately. Okay, no problem. I thought so. The chef said, "I'll quickly make some for you and bring them to you." Unfortunately, that's all it took. Nothing happened. But you have to wonder why this isn't mentioned when ordering. I mean, ultimately, you want to sell, right? I have to say that I've never been a "fan" of this upscale chip shop, but the renovation has piqued our interest. Renovation great, service flop! The renovation has turned out really nice. The menu, in my opinion, has barely changed since the brewery opened. However, it's mostly made up of dishes that are always a hit, and there are regular seasonal specials. I agree with some of the previous comments; I see the biggest drawback as being the value for money. The amount you have to pay for some of the dishes is really a lot. So far, though, I've always enjoyed everything I've ordered. We were there for lunch during the week – reservations are recommended at other times.

For the prices they charge, I expect better service. You have to get your own food and drinks. The schnitzel was very tasty last time. Today's burger was not so good. Topped with chicken, a slice of tomato, and iceberg lettuce. Charging €15 for that is pretty steep.

The atmosphere was like a Losteria. Clean, clear. The menu is not overloaded, but completely sufficient. The prices are moderate. Self-service is fine because placing the order is quick thanks to two service staff. The transponder handed out vibrates and flashes to indicate that the food can be picked up at the counter. It happened very quickly for us. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to joke around. I and my companion enjoyed the dishes we ordered very much. I'd love to come back when I'm in Paderborn.

2 years ago: We always enjoy coming here. The price-performance ratio is right here and it simply tastes good. Update September 2024: We have been regular customers for years, at least 10 years. There used to be really great portions at unbeatable prices. The burger now no longer costs around 9 euros, but just under 15 euros. But what's worse is that the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Unfortunately the burger size has shrunk. A few weeks ago I had a large salad with grilled vegetables. I used to barely manage the salad. This time I had to order more fries to fill me up. Really such a shame! This is the second time I've been disappointed. Brinkmanns: Please make it better!!! I'm happy to pay the prices, but I expect the tried and tested large portions. Oh yes, unfortunately the furniture is also starting to suffer. The seating fabrics in the winter garden are damaged. I would like to write something pleasant again in the next update! Update May 2025: The restaurant is now absolutely modern and inviting. I really like it. Yesterday I picked up 2 Kikok hands and they were dry and hard grilled and not even the cats or dogs wanted to eat them. I had to burp all evening, which is normally nothing for the price.

I pre-ordered online on Sunday and the food was ready on time. The queue at the checkout went all the way to the door, which meant you had to keep moving aside to let people with trays pass, which was annoying and poorly solved. The schnitzels we ordered were OK, the fries for €4.50 were small in quantity and extremely salty. The steak I ordered medium was so well done that it was tough. Not possible for the prices.

When people advertise on the Internet that the kitchen is open until 9 p.m. (and the restaurant is even open until 10 p.m.), I find that disappointing and not right.

We were there today (8:30 p.m.) and were told that the kitchen was already closed, even though the homepage says it doesn't close until 9 p.m. This isn't possible at a restaurant where you definitely have to make a special trip. What can I say, chip shop with restaurant prices. Were there with 10 people for the day. From schnitzel to burgers, we had everything on the table. Schnitzel looks very machine-made and is made in the deep fryer, so it's dripping with fat (you could have dabbed it with Zewa). The stated 200 g includes panada and fat, raw weight max 140g. Small bowl of majo fries, €4.70, cheeseburger without side dishes around €15, those are restaurant prices!! The chicken gyro.....whatever. So, conclusion: chip shop level at restaurant prices. Oh well, all the burger people at our table had stomach problems that evening.

If you're not expecting 3-star cuisine and ambiance, but simply a well-prepared steak or something similar, this is the place for you. The slogan "Simple, Delicious" pretty much sums it up. We eat there at least once a month.

We were just there, if I could give zero stars I would. I ordered schnitzel with a vegetable pan and what only came was the vegetable pan, after asking where my schnitzel was they told me that I had to order it separately, ok but then when I order with paprika sauce only the sauce comes or what? I'm very disappointed never to eat there again, please change the menu so that you get a better overview when ordering.

The food was good, great chicken. The atmosphere is busy and more like a construction site. It's so busy that the service at the counter can hardly keep up. It's tiring as a customer because you block all paths in the service queue directly in the restaurant and have to constantly move left and right to avoid other guests. You have to pick up your food from the kitchen yourself, but the service brings the drinks. The walk to the toilet leads past the back of refrigerators behind the service, which doesn't look so nice and is probably due to the construction work.

If you like picking up your own food in the cafeteria and then want fast food at restaurant prices, this is the right place for you. Unfortunately, at least currently half of the menu was not available (no half chicken, no knuckle, no spare ribs). You could perhaps simply note this in advance when you are standing in line at the checkout to order your food, like at a snack bar, then you could think about what you would like to eat beforehand without being told during the ordering process that it is not available today. Overall, I wasn't very impressed with the price/performance ratio.

I've driven past it many times and stopped by on Saturday evenings. Nicely decorated location. What you unfortunately don't realize from the outside is that it's a self-service restaurant unless you're prepared for it. A display draws attention to the fact that you have to order here. Cards were ready there. Went to the table armed with cards and quickly found something suitable. 1 Camembert schnitzel and 1 schnitzel with pan-fried vegetables, a portion of fries with mayo, 1 large cola. Wait in line until it is your turn. The friendly lady at the order reception took the order. The final amount definitely had a restaurant character. Got a "beeper" that notifies when the food is ready for pickup, which is what happened. I picked up the food in two courses because my companion is disabled. The food was nicely prepared and looked appetizing. Ready-made hash browns, hollandaise from the package, pan-fried vegetables 85% peppers, 2% onions, 1% zucchini, 12% oil. Taste good but not outstanding. The conclusion: a system catering that needs improvement. An upscale fast food joint, prices like in a restaurant. You can do it, but you don't have to.

Unfortunately there are some points of criticism: 1. Service - In itself the concept is ok that you have to get your own food. Since we paid separately for 8 people, we got two “beepers”. Although we ordered directly one after the other, half of us at the table had their food 10 minutes earlier and were almost finished eating when we could start. 2. Food - The cheeseburger with meat was quite tasty. The baked potato too. Unfortunately the vegetarian burger is absolutely bad. Unfortunately, the finished product patty didn't taste good at all and there was hardly any guacamole on the burger, so it was just dry and bland. The chicken crossies etc. are just cheap finished products. It's a shame, you could really ask for more given the prices!

If you were to talk about the past, it used to be a good restaurant. Compared to today, the service is a complete failure. You have to order food at the counter, as well as drinks. Apart from that, you don't have a waitress who comes to the table and takes your order. When you eat, like in a swimming pool, you get a big vibrating chip that starts to vibrate when the food is ready. With the chip you then go to the kitchen and pick up your own food. For a restaurant of this class and prices, not a recommendation to eat there with family or friends. Therefore 1 star in service. The prices for the food are also way too high due to the service. Total rip off and not recommended!!!!

Despite an extension being built, things are running. Delicious burger and sweet potato fries. In the roastery you have to order and pay at the cash register, pick up your food on a tray at the counter and then push the tray into the tray trolley. The drinks were brought to us and the food server kindly helped me with the second tray and accompanied me to the table. I'll come back here.j
