Für Liebhaber der asiatischen Küche ist dieses Restaurant in Paderborn ein absolutes Muss. ​Hier stimmt einfach das Gesamtpaket: ​Riesige und frische Auswahl: Das Buffet lässt absolut keine Wünsche offen. Von klassischen Frühlingsrollen über Sushi bis hin zu perfekt zubereiteten warmen Gerichten ist alles dabei. Das absolute Highlight ist natürlich der Live-Grill (Mongolisches Buffet), bei dem man sich frische Zutaten nach Wahl direkt vor den Augen zubereiten lassen kann. Alles ist knackig, heiß und superlecker! ​Tolles Ambiente: Das Restaurant ist modern, sehr geräumig und schick eingerichtet. Trotz der Größe herrscht eine angenehme, gemütliche Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. ​Erstklassiger Service: Das Personal ist extrem aufmerksam, freundlich und leere Teller werden blitzschnell abgeräumt. Auch das Buffet wird ständig nachgefüllt, sodass man nie vor leeren Platten steht. ​Fazit: Ob mit der Familie, Freunden oder für ein ausgiebiges Abendessen zu zweit – das Yellow River liefert immer ab. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Wir kommen definitiv ganz bald wieder!

Seitdem die Getränke inklusive sind ist die Essensqualität leider geringer geworden, schade.

Wir sind normalerweise vom yellow River anderes gewohnt! Der Service war gut die Mitarbeiter freundlich aber das Essen lauwarm! Unter solchen Voraussetzungen kann ich dieses Haus nicht empfehlen!!

Tolles Buffet, sehr freundlicher Service. Es gibt Sushi immer frisch gemacht. Man kann sich dann vom Laufband aussuchen.

Ein gutes Familienrestaurant für Feiertage, leckeres Essen, guter Service

Hauptgericht hat sehr lange gedauert circa 45 Minuten. Und kam kalt an den Tisch. Geschmacklich gut. Durch die lange Wartezeit wird dadurch das Essen kalt war, nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert. Wirt sehr unfreundlich.

Wir waren mit drei Erwachsenen und drei Kindern unter fünf Jahren dort (Hilfe!). Der Service war wirklich gut, das Essen sehr abwechslungsreich und hat allen geschmeckt. Es gibt auch eine kleine Spielecke für die Kinder. Das Gebäude selbst und der Parkplatz sind riesig und sehr gut durchdacht. Als Briten, die in Deutschland leben, können wir es wärmstens empfehlen!

Dieses Buffet-Restaurant ist eines der Besseren, würde ich sagen. Das Essen schmeckt gut und es wird immer wieder nachgelegt. Man muss sich bewusst sein, es ist kein Gourmet-Restaurant, sondern auf Buffet ausgelegt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und die Preise sind fair. Die Atmosphäre ist etwas kühl und hellhörig, was zu einem Stern weniger geführt hat.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Einfach rundum 1A wir kommen immer wieder gerne ins Yellow River Restaurant in Paderborn! Schon beim Betreten wird man unglaublich herzlich empfangen. Die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen sind durchweg super freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier das Wohl der Gäste wirklich an erster Stelle steht. Es wird regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, und besonders positiv: Getränke werden rechtzeitig erfragt, ohne dass man selbst ständig danach schauen oder warten muss. Das Essen ist einfach top! 🍜🍣🍤 Alles ist ständig frisch, warm und reichlich vorhanden. Egal zu welcher Uhrzeit man kommt die Speisen werden immer wieder frisch nachgefüllt. Die Auswahl ist riesig und lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei, von klassischen Gerichten bis hin zu vielen verschiedenen Spezialitäten. Man kann sich gar nicht entscheiden, weil einfach alles so lecker aussieht und auch schmeckt! Auch die Sauberkeit verdient ein großes Lob. Das gesamte Restaurant ist sehr gepflegt, und besonders die Toiletten sind sauber, ordentlich und wirklich vorbildlich was heutzutage leider nicht selbstverständlich ist. Insgesamt ein Restaurant, in dem man sich willkommen, gut aufgehoben und wohlfühlt. Freundlicher Service, tolles Essen, große Auswahl und eine angenehme Atmosphäre was will man mehr? Seit Jahren sehr gutes Essen und unser Lieblingskellner weiß schon ohne Worte was wir möchten. Wir gehen immer gern in dieses Restaurant.

Top, weiß gar nicht was ich schreiben soll! Bin kein Freund von Buffet Essen aber hier gibt es ein ganz großes Kino. Man kann sich gute Produkte frisch zubereiten lassen ( Wolfsbarsch, Jakobsmuscheln und Krebs oder sogar Känguru) und es kommt mit einem Roboter dann zum Tisch. Qualität der Speisen super, einziges Manko ist das Salz und Pfeffer fehlen ( ist aber Jammern auf höchstem Niveau). Wir werden wieder kommen 😊

Wir hatten am 31.12.2025 um 18:00 Uhr einen Tisch für sechs Personen reserviert, in der Hoffnung, dass sich das Essen seit unserem letzten Besuch vor sechs Monaten verbessert hätte. Das frische Lamm war noch gefroren und bestand nur aus Knochen mit kaum Fleisch. Ich sprach die Verantwortliche an, aber sie zeigte keinerlei Interesse, sondern war nur am Gewinn interessiert. Das rohe Essen, das dem Koch zum Kochen gegeben wurde, kam verkocht, trocken und ungenießbar zurück. Die Ente bestand aus trockenen Resten und wurde nur auf Nachfrage nachgefüllt. Es ist teuer (40–50 € pro Person). Die Qualität (Koch, Lamm, Ente und einige Fertiggerichte) hat sich seit unserem letzten Besuch nicht verbessert, daher war dies unser letzter Besuch. Qualität sollte vor Gewinn gehen, wenn man seine Kunden wertschätzt.

heute mal wieder da gewesen. Essen unterste Schublade, Service ebenso. Die männliche Bedienung hat mit Absicht übersehen, dass unsere Gläser leer waren, er bedient nur Gäste die nach Geld aussahen. Ich empfehle keinem hier hinzugehen, wenn ihm seine Gesundheit was wert ist. Ergebnis dieses Essens heute Magen Darm Verstimmung. Ich werde definitiv nie wieder dieses Lokal betreten.

Essen war eigentlich in Ordnung: Sushi: Habe schon besseres gehabt es war definitiv nicht frisch, war wahrscheinlich sogar vom vortag! Ansonsten war es in Ordnung es schmeckte gut allerdings war es teilweise nicht richtig warm. Das große Problem war der Herr im Service für Getränke. Da ich selbst in der Gastronomie im Service arbeite ist dies noch schlimmer, der Herr im Service sah unsere leeren Gläser *mehrfach* 15 Minuten später kam eine Dame die dann Getränke aufnahm... Vom Essen war es für mich gut aber der Service verdient keine 5 Sterne!

Mittlerweile muss ich sagen wird er wieder schlechter. Das Essen ist nicht wirklich heiß und wenn man das Buffet mit den Getränken inklusive hat wartet man vergeblich auf sein 2. oder 3 . Getränk. Die Bedienung (Er) übersieht gekonnt die leeren Gläser und geht öfters an einem vorbei. Sorry aber dann darf ich das nicht anbieten wenn ich keine Lust habe dem Kunden ein zweites Getränk zu bringen. Es ist nun zum letzten Mal gewesen das wir dort essen waren. Vielleicht sollte sich Yellow River sich ein Beispiel an Phönix nehmen und sich überlegen die Getränke als Selbstbedienung anzubieten.

Das Essen war überhaupt nicht aufgefüllt, hat nach gar nichts geschmeckt und kaum Auswahl. Das Sushi sah nicht mehr frisch aus und wir hoffen auf keine Lebensmittelvergiftung. Auf unsere Kritik wurde nicht eingegangen. 95€ für 3 Leute aus dem Fenster geschmissen

also spaß beiseite aber das essen da ist todes ranzig und nicht genießbar und dann verlangen die noch 23 Flocken pro Kopf für komplett unterirdisches essen. eine komplette respektlosigkeit GEHT HIER BITTE NICHT HIN 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Die Qualität ist echt nicht gut. Schmeckt alles sehr durchschnittlich. Obst ist alles aus Konserven.

Essen in Ordnung, Toiletten aufgrund fehlender Sauberkeit und allgemeinem Wartungszustand nicht benutzbar. 6/8 Pissoirs waren gesperrt, die anderen beiden hatten keinen funktionierenden Spülknopf und rochen dementsprechend. Bei den normalen Kabinen fehlten Deckel und Brille, außerdem klebte der Boden im gesamten Toilettenbereich sowie auf der Treppe dorthin.

4.1 is not fair. We were with 5 people on 25.10.25 for the lunch buffet and I claim at this point in time BY FAR the best in all of Paderborn. Everything was hot and very well seasoned. The selection was overwhelming and nothing was not tasty. Staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. In the dining room and in the toilets you could eat off the floor. Top....I hope it stays that way, we will come back and forget all the ones that were there in Paderborn.

Large restaurant. Accordingly loud. The service is very good. Tiered buffet offerings. The all-round carefree package is worthwhile for people with big appetites as it also includes a flat rate for drinks. If you stay longer, you can also get mini portions from the buffet and corresponding drinks. It gets quieter towards the later evening, so if you're sensitive to noise... better go then. The selection is good but of course can't be compared to the quality of an à la carte restaurant. Nevertheless, I would happily go there again. It offers that fun factor with the selection of various new dishes to try.

Worst food I've ever eaten. The staff was very friendly, but the food was terrible.

The restaurant is located on the main road at the entrance to Paderborn. The parking spaces are almost completely full in the evenings and on weekends. From inside, you can look directly out onto the street through the large windows. The interior design is a matter of taste. For me, it's rather impersonal, as it has a cafeteria feel. As with all *larger buffet for one price* Chinese restaurants, the food is served on plates, which are constantly refilled. There's also a rotating conveyor belt with sushi. Raw fish and meat can be freshly prepared. The selection of desserts, including fruit, is good. The variety of food on offer is similar to that of other Chinese restaurants with buffets. The service is okay. Ordering drinks took a long time. What I found odd was a kind of robot that rolled the freshly prepared meat or fish to your table. All in all, a Chinese restaurant as you would expect. Those who value comfort might be disappointed here.

The price of €29.90 is okay, but it didn't taste good! The raw meat had been sitting on the display for a while, and the fried meat was very dry.

A typical experience is what you'd expect. Hot and cold buffet, wide variety of desserts. Attentive and courteous waiters.

Really good food for a buffet restaurant...very friendly staff...very tasty and a good selection...in the category offered...but if you're expecting fine dining, you've come to the wrong place...

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. The food at the buffet is very mediocre. What really upset us was the sushi. We were there for 1.5 hours, and during that time, the sushi sat unrefrigerated on the sushi conveyor belt. When we left, the plates contained the same pieces as when we arrived. The service robot is also incredibly loud. It plays a very loud melody when delivering food, which can be heard throughout the restaurant.

We were practically regulars. On our second-to-last visit, we were already very dissatisfied with the quality of the food. But after three months, we decided to give it another try. On our last visit, we used the drinks package, and refills were only reluctantly served. The quality of the food, especially the shrimp and duck, was truly substandard this time. It's a shame how this restaurant has gone from being just average to now being so disastrously run. We certainly won't be spending our hard-earned money here again.

Two of us were here today for the first time, more or less by chance, and we were absolutely thrilled. A huge lunch buffet including a flat-rate drinks package for €19.90 – amazing! The service was good, but not intrusive. The buffet was constantly refilled, and there was an incredible selection – including dessert. Five stars!

Well, I have to say, we've been eating there for years, but this time it was a complete disaster. All the meat and fish dishes were poorly grilled. The fish and shrimp were all dry, and the meat was cooked too long, all tough. I don't know what's going on, or if there's a new employee behind the grill, but I've never had food like this before.

The fried rice lacked the fried flavor, but the fried noodles were even more fried. Unfortunately, they weren't particularly tasty.

Most of the food was not fresh.

On Saturday, May 10th, the three of us were the first three visitors! It opened on time, and after a short wait, we were able to help ourselves to the very well-stocked and truly delicious buffet! We were also politely and generously served new non-alcoholic drinks! The three of us consider the price of the buffet starting at 11:30 am to be absolutely justified and would love to come back this weekend to enjoy the very inviting atmosphere! Trying out the Yellow River was a complete success!

We celebrated our son's communion in the restaurant and were looking forward to a lovely day with family and friends. Unfortunately, the service on this special occasion did not quite meet our expectations. The waitress rarely came by to ask for drinks, and used dishes and glasses were largely not cleared away. Sometimes we had to put away the dishes and cutlery ourselves to make room for serving the cake. Even after I asked the staff to help us set up the cake, unfortunately a lot of it was left to us. Especially at a celebration, we would have liked more attention and support so that we could enjoy the day with less stress. The food was good and the rooms were attractive, but the overall impression was significantly marred by poor service. We hope that the restaurant will pay even more attention to service during celebrations in the future and wish the team all the best.

I was invited to the buffet today. The selection from soup to dessert was plentiful and delicious. Since I worked in a commercial kitchen myself, I found many dishes simply not hot enough (at least 70 degrees).

One of the nicest Chinese restaurants. Huge size, with a great selection of meats etc. The beef steak and lamb chops were very well cooked and flavorful. Very friendly and competent staff. I always like to come back. Highly recommended!

€30 for all you can eat, including non-alcoholic drinks. I've seen much better buffets for that price. We were there on a Wednesday evening. It was okay—nothing more, unfortunately. We won't go back—for that price, you can get better!

Das Essen war extrem fettig und salzig, insgesamt aber noch ok. Die Auswahl ist auch ok, wenn auch nicht gewaltig. Die Bedienung war allerdings sehr unhöflich, der Herr dort sogar unverschämt. Für einen Sonntag Abend waren extrem wenige Gäste dort; bei dem Verhalten wundert mich das allerdings nicht. Der Preis ist mit 32€ für das Buffet nicht niedrig, Trinkgeld gab es für die freche Bedienung natürlich keines. Für uns nicht noch einmal!

I went to this Chinese restaurant today and all I can say is that it was an absolute disaster. The waiter was extremely rude and rude, even though he was clearly in the wrong. When we asked a question about the menu, he immediately became impatient and tried to blame us for supposedly misunderstanding something. When I pointed out the error in the menu, instead of responding politely, he just became more arrogant and refused to clarify. The service was disastrous and I will never visit this place again. Simply unprofessional and disrespectful! Addendum: It's March, why are there Christmas cookies on the buffet? We tried to cut it with a KNIFE, which was impossible (video of this available). The chocolate fountain was extremely squidgy, as were the ice cream flavors (video also available). The buffet is worth a maximum of €20 including a drink. Stores like Xiao Dortmund do it right. They do it neatly and cleanly for almost the same money. 3/6 standing toilets were broken and flooded + 2/3 cubicle toilets were disgustingly dirty.

Today I was eating there with my family at 5:30 p.m. and I have to say the staff was pretty unfriendly and the food was the biggest disappointment I've ever had in my life. It was disgusting beef with onions, the meat was like rubber and tasteless. I visited the “Yellow River” restaurant in Paderborn and was extremely disappointed. The atmosphere was more reminiscent of a canteen than a cozy restaurant. The buffet was arranged chaotically, with starters, main courses and desserts without a clear separation. The sushi was tasteless, the wasabi was watered down and the spring rolls were greasy. The Mongolian grill was particularly disappointing: the salmon and other types of fish were completely overcooked, the beef was tough as a shoe sole and the pork was just as inedible. Overall, a miserable price-performance ratio… what really shocked me was the hygienic conditions. Four of the six urinals were blocked so that the water overflowed - an absolute no-go! This shows that there is obviously no attention paid to cleanliness and maintenance. I definitely won't visit this restaurant again and don't recommend it to anyone.

Aesthetic atmosphere with relaxing music, the food is fresh and hot and made to the highest quality; the staff are helpful and understand both German and English. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a mixture of a ready to eat buffet and stir fry food made to order.

finde es nicht richtig schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Die Auswahl ist allerdings auch nicht wirklich groß. Tatsächlich schlimm finde ich, dass ich hier bayrisches Eisbein sowie Spargel mit Soße Hollandaise oder american Spareribs auf dem Buffet gefunden habe. DAS gehört definitiv NICHT in ein asiatisches Restaurant!!! Wenn ich zum griechen gehe, möchte ich dort auch keine Frühlingsrollen vorfinden. Das die Frühlingsrolle allerdings dann noch ein TK Produkt wie ich es bei Aldi bekomme sind finde ich dann schon unverschämt. Aber die Bedienung ist zumindest freundlichen und bemüht. Dennoch werde ich denke ich nicht nochmal wiederkommen.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The store was almost empty, but the selection of food left a lot to be desired. The taste of the food itself was hardly convincing. However, the handling of our drink order was particularly disturbing. We had booked a package that included two soft drinks and a glass of wine each. Since not all of us wanted to drink alcohol, some of us passed our wine glasses to others - which posed an unnecessary problem for the staff and led to an unpleasant discussion. In addition, we felt like we were being watched the whole time. The staff constantly checked to see if anyone was passing on their drink and even came to make comments. That was really unpleasant and completely ruined the atmosphere. Another minus: the sweets that were available were dusty, suggesting that they had been there for a long time. The so-called children's area was particularly frightening. The toys were completely dilapidated - dolls with legs torn off, a keyboard with missing keys, and everything just lying around the room in a chaotic manner. There weren't even boxes or shelves for the toys, just a room full of odds and ends lying around. This is definitely not a pleasant or safe place for children. All in all, unfortunately not a recommendation.

Unfortunately it's not as good as it used to be. The buffet has slacked off. Some dishes were gone and were no longer refilled (7:45 p.m.). In addition, the food was not hot in any way. Neither the rice, the meat or vegetables. There were no preheated plates either. At €30 per person I think the food should at least be hot. Too bad.

Yesterday I was there for the lunch buffet for the first time and, even as a single, I was greeted very, very friendly and courteously and provided with drinks. The food from the buffet was attractively prepared, very tasty and fresh. There was even Goyoza, which I love very much :) All in all, I'll definitely be back soon!

Gestern hatten wir eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung mit dem asiatischen Restaurant Yellow River in Paderborn. Wir hatten über Lieferando Essen bestellt und bis kurz vor Ladenschluss auf die Lieferung gewartet – leider ohne Erfolg. Als wir das Restaurant anriefen, stellte sich heraus, dass sie unsere Bestellung aufgrund eines Systemfehlers nicht erhalten hatten. Obwohl wir enttäuscht von Lieferando waren, hat uns das Team von Yellow River beeindruckt. Sie boten uns an, die Gerichte nach Ladenschluss frisch zuzubereiten, wenn wir diese selbst abholen würden. Als wir ankamen, waren die Lieferando-Kuriere bereits vor Ort, ebenfalls verärgert über den Fehler. Da wir die Bestellung bereits per PayPal bezahlt hatten, konnten wir sie nicht stornieren. In dieser stressigen Situation zeigte das Restaurant jedoch unglaublichen Kundenservice: Sie gaben uns das Essen kostenlos und rieten uns, das Geld direkt bei Lieferando zurückzufordern. Das Essen war eine glatte 10 von 10 – frisch, köstlich und von bester Qualität. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit und Professionalität des Teams. Yesterday we had an exceptional experience at the Asian restaurant Yellow River in Paderborn. We ordered food through Lieferando and waited until shortly before closing time for delivery - unfortunately without success. When we called the restaurant it turned out they hadn't received our order due to a system error. Although we were disappointed with Lieferando, the Yellow River team impressed us. They offered to prepare the dishes fresh after the store closed if we picked them up ourselves. When we arrived, Lieferando couriers were already there, also upset about the error. Since we had already paid for the order via PayPal, we were unable to cancel it. However, in this stressful situation, the restaurant showed incredible customer service: they gave us the food for free and advised us to request the money back directly from Lieferando. The food was a solid 10 out of 10 – fresh, delicious and of the best quality. We would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness and professionalism of the team. Such hosts who take their customers seriously and place real value on quality and customer satisfaction are rare. For anyone looking for authentic Asian cuisine and warm service, we can highly recommend Yellow River in Paderborn! A big thank you to the team – we will definitely be back!

Reserve a table online. No problem, selection of food in all colors, there is something for everyone, the staff is super friendly and prices are really acceptable. Always my pleasure

For 25.50 there isn't a big selection and no drinks. Not so good in taste and cold. Alternative: Phoenix in the Liborie Gallery is significantly better. Also includes drinks

As always, great service. Friendly, quick but still reserved. Great selection of sushi. Freshly prepared food comes directly to the table via a service robot.

Huge selection of dishes, unfortunately the taste wasn't my cup of tea and unfortunately the dishes I chose were only luke warm or almost cold. I haven't tried wok or sushi, so I'm giving it 3 stars in the hope that they're good. Overall the food was disappointing. Service and friendliness were sensational.

HANDS OFF THE RESTAURANT!!! We got the app "too good to go" to save food but, pure disappointment and foolishness. Of course the food wasn't from the same day but ancient. The meat and baked fish looked SNACKED and the food tasted OLD and not at all. Disgustingly simply, these were leftover food from other PEOPLE. WE FELT BAD AFTER DINNER NEVER AGAIN ! HANDS OFF IT

FINGER WEG VON Diesem RESTAURANT!!! Wir haben uns die App , too good to go' geholt um essen zu retten aber, pure Enttäuschung und verarsche. Das essen war natürlich nicht vom selben Tag sondern uralt. Das Fleisch und gebackene Fisch sah ANGEKNABERT aus und das essen schmeckte ALT UND überhaupt nicht. Ekelhaft einfach bestimmt waren das Essensreste von anderen MENSCHEN UNS WAR NACH DEM ESSEN SCHLECHT NIE WIEDER! FINGER WEG DAVON
