Eher groß und hat etwas von "Kantinen Flair" Aber sehr gutes und vielseitiges Essen. Gute Getränke Auswahl. Sehr nettes Personal. Sofern man in der Labori Galerie parkt, werden zwei Stunden auf dem Park Ticket gutgeschrieben. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Die erste Stunde verlief reibungslos und alles war gut organisiert. Doch nach der Hälfte der zweiten Stunde kam der Kellner und teilte uns mit, dass unsere Zeit abgelaufen sei und wir entweder gehen oder mehr bezahlen müssten. Das verdarb uns die Stimmung völlig, da wir es als Beleidigung empfanden, als würden wir essen, ohne zu bezahlen, obwohl wir die Öffnungszeiten kannten. Ich ging enttäuscht vom Service und beschloss, dass es das letzte Mal war.

Das Essen hat nicht geschmeckt und das Ambiente ist alt . Naja nicht nochmal.

Wir waren leider auch nicht begeistert. Das Essen war größtenteils kalt und hat auch nicht besonders geschmeckt. Völlig überteuert. Das einzigste positive das klein Kinder nicht viel zahlen müssen.

Einfach ein super Restaurant, wir kommen immer wieder gerne! Das Essen ist jedes Mal frisch, lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das tolle und sehr freundliche Personal, das einem sofort das Gefühl gibt, willkommen zu sein. Auch das Ambiente ist wunderschön – gemütlich, sauber und perfekt, um entspannt zu genießen. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die gutes asiatisches Essen und einen hervorragenden Service schätzen!

Hat ganz schön nachgelassen. Viele Speisen schon kalt. Vieles unwürzig. Das schlimmste war für mich die gebackene Banane: hart und geschmacklos, möglicherweise ist das Kochbanane... Wirklich schade, wir waren sonst immer sehr gerne hier. Ergo war an einem Freitagabend auch nicht viel los... Das Getränkeangebot ist allerdings großartig, eine sehr gute Auswahl und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Personal ist höflich und freundlich

Das Angebot ist reichhaltig, die Qualität auf Masse ausgelegt, die Atmosphäre ist meist etwas hektisch. Die meisten Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, manche wirken gestresst. Positiv ist, dass man sich im Wok selbst etwas zubereiten lassen kann und auch individuelle Wünsche bei der Zubereitung anbringen kann.

Wir waren gestern mit acht Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind zum All-you-can-eat-Buffet hier und leider sehr enttäuscht. Die Idee mit den frisch zusammengestellten Grilltellern klang zunächst gut, in der Praxis lief es jedoch völlig aus dem Ruder. Wir haben einen Teller mit rohem Fisch, Lachs und Fleisch zur Zubereitung abgegeben und anschließend über eine Stunde (eher 1,5 Stunden) darauf gewartet. In dieser Zeit kam keinerlei Information oder Entschuldigung vom Personal. Für ein Buffetkonzept ist eine derart lange Wartezeit schlicht nicht akzeptabel. Während wir warteten, wollten wir auf das normale Buffet ausweichen – allerdings war dieses über die gesamte Zeit zu etwa 90 % leer und wurde kaum nachgefüllt. Praktisch verfügbar waren nur gebratene Champignons und Mini-Frühlingsrollen. Ab und zu wurden Pommes nachgelegt, aber die meisten anderen Speisen blieben dauerhaft leer. Für ein All-you-can-eat-Buffet ist das schlicht unzureichend. Besonders kritisch fanden wir jedoch die Hygienesituation: Die Teller mit rohen Zutaten standen über lange Zeit ungekühlt direkt neben einem Putzeimer, in dem ständig ein schmutziger Lappen ausgewaschen wurde. Zudem konnten Gäste ungehindert an diesem Wagen herumhantieren. Das wirkte weder hygienisch noch vertrauenswürdig und hat uns ehrlich gesagt den Appetit verdorben. Für einen Abendpreis von 37,50 € pro Person ist diese Leistung absolut unangemessen. Trotz der massiven Verzögerungen, des weitgehend leeren Buffets und der offensichtlichen Hygienemängel kam vom Personal keinerlei Entgegenkommen oder Kulanz. Insgesamt leider keine gute Erfahrung – lange Wartezeiten, chaotische Organisation, leeres Buffet, sehr fragwürdige Hygiene und ein deutlich überhöhter Preis. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Ganz schrecklich. Jeder Imbiss an der Straße hat mehr Qualität. Viele Speisen besonders der Fisch ungenießbar verkocht oder noch roh. Sowas ekalhaftes ist mir noch nicht untergekommen.

Das beste Buffet in Paderborn... Essen und Trinken so viel man will!

Essen war leider sehr enttäuschend, Ente kam während unserem Besuchs kein einziges Mal frisch aufs Buffet, wobei nur noch ein Rest drin war, die anderen Sachen nicht schmackhaft. Hähnchen war sehr trocken, Schwein süß sauer, war dermaßen süß ... Einziger Wermutstropfen, das die Getränke im Preis inklusive sind. Nur deswegen gibt's auch den zweiten Stern. Essen kann man leider wirklich nicht empfehlen, die Getränkeauswahl ist okay.

War ein sehr schöner abend. Essen und Service waren super.

An sich ein sehr schönes Restaurant, bei den Speisen muss man aber einiges abziehen..Die Auswahl ist wirklich gut, aber besonders beim Eis sieht es etwas unordentlich/unhygienisch aus. Daher leider der Abzug, sonst war es in Ordnung :) Für etwas über 100€ für 3 Personen mit je 2 Getränken ist es etwas teurer, aber noch akzeptabel für einen Geburtstag👍🏻

Ich habe kürzlich ein chinesisches Restaurant mit All-you-can-eat-Angebot für nur 23 € pro Person besucht. Ein wirklich tolles Angebot: Man kann eine Vielzahl von Gerichten probieren, von Frühlingsrollen und Nudeln bis hin zu Wokgerichten, und es gibt keine Begrenzung. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass die Getränke im Preis inbegriffen sind; weder Wasser, Saft noch Bier kosten extra. Das Essen ist frisch, die Auswahl riesig und der Service schnell. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und perfekt für ein Abendessen mit Freunden oder einen Familienausflug. Für den Preis sind Service und Qualität des Essens eine positive Überraschung. Ein großartiger Ort für einen genussvollen und sättigenden Abend.

Preis und Leistung stimmen überhaupt gar nicht essen ist nicht gut hatte mir die Bewerbungen an geschaut bin deswegen da hin . Hätte ich mir parken sollen .

The food doesn't taste good at all anymore.

I remember this restaurant from when you could actually eat there. We were there today. The selection is large, but in my opinion, the food isn't as good as it was about three years ago. Crispy duck? Nothing crispy. Some of the food wasn't even hot anymore. What a shame, this will be the last time we go there. The only advantage is that all drinks are included in the prices.

Drinks are included in the menu. Awesome! Slightly more expensive on Sundays/holidays. At around €37, the price is fair!

Large selection of food, unfortunately often quite cold. The Mongolian grill is okay. The meat is consistently very tough. The drinks are too expensive, but that's probably due to the mixed pricing of the all-you-can-eat menu. When the place is full, which it usually is, it's quite loud.

Everything from the food to the service was excellent. However, there were two things that might need some improvement. The fish in garlic was more like garlic concentrate with a little bit of fish, and the chicken drumsticks were so spicy I thought I was eating lava.

The staff took plenty of time to offer recommendations and promptly fulfilled every request. The food was fresh, aromatic, and authentic. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrived. The value for money is also excellent. ...so yesterday, our choir of about 35 people travelled by bus from Käckel-Reisen in Northern Hesse, and I thought it was very good there. The lunch buffet was a great price, there was a large selection of food, the restrooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable despite the large group...so I can't complain, only nitpick ☺👍

A well-stocked, large all-you-can-eat and drink buffet that even includes a chocolate fountain. If you're in Paderborn anyway, I can recommend it. You can have your parking ticket validated for two hours at the ticket booth, but you have to leave promptly, otherwise the discount expires and the original parking price applies again.

We found the food very tasty. It was warm and there was plenty of everything. The restroom was clean. We had no problems afterwards. Empty plates were cleared immediately. Our table was a bit worn (the glass was scratched). We would recommend this restaurant. Parking tickets are validated at the register.

Nothing less than THE BEST CHINESE BUFFET ON OUR PLANET! I've had many, but none has been better! It's extremely good value for money! This establishment is worth a visit just for the drinks package! By the way, you can also get your parking ticket refunded for two hours.

I was here with my family for a barbecue yesterday. There was a large selection of unusual fish and meats with various sauces. Everything tasted delicious. The selection and variety of the different dishes always amazes me. Drinks are included, and they serve everything from beer to juice, all in their original form. Unfortunately, I do have one criticism: the food is generally not hot enough. We always enjoy eating here, especially since the service and friendliness are impressive.

I think this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The food is delicious. I highly recommend it.🤗

The mere fact that I HAVE to pay €5 for my 1-year-old child, even though he doesn't even serve anything from the buffet or drinks, I find it outrageous and a lousy way to get money from customers. I don't even need to start on the burnt food, dry sushi, and dirty dishes. It used to be great, but now it's simply awful and I wouldn't recommend it. It's the wrong place, especially for families with small children!

I was at your restaurant today from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with my wife and child. Unfortunately, my wife lost her wedding ring, a very valuable gold ring. I have already called the restaurant, but the ring has not been found yet. I would like to emphasize that I am not accusing anyone. If anyone finds the ring, please contact me. Impossible – the signs and clamps on the table are completely dirty and filthy; these should definitely be cleaned, as they are also attached to the plate and may come into contact with the food. (Hygiene?) The concept urgently needs to be revised.

I have to say this was our third time there, and the last time, my wife got a stomach ache right there on the spot, and I got it half an hour later! Diarrhea says hello.

Absolutely outrageous and absolutely not recommended. You're invited in with the promise that you have to pay €19.50 for the buffet. And if you go in with five people, you get a bill for €160. Then they claim they never told you that. Thanks, we've never left so cheaply before, only to find out that we'll never eat there again. On top of that, the food was unfortunately very, very dry... the meat, etc. Thanks again and NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The restaurant is perfect for larger groups or families. The prices are fair, and the food is decent. However, those expecting authentic or particularly delicious food will be disappointed.

The reception at the restaurant was uninviting, as the gentleman at the entrance seemed very bored. There is no traditional service, as you have to get both food and drinks yourself – with the exception of the freshly fried dishes. Therefore, not much can be said about the actual service. However, the condition of the restrooms was problematic: hygiene was severely neglected. The restrooms were barely usable due to obvious dirt, toilet paper was lying everywhere, and overall it was very dirty. The freshly prepared food tasted okay. The ready-prepared dishes at the buffet, on the other hand, were of a disappointing quality – they were consistently soft and heavily overcooked, which also had a negative impact on the taste. The beverage selection was extensive overall. Most drinks were okay, but the hot drinks consisted almost exclusively of cream. **Conclusion:** Given the relatively high price, well-maintained restrooms are an absolute minimum. Instead of "stuffing our bellies" under time pressure, we will avoid this restaurant in the future.

Unfortunately, the quality and selection have declined considerably in recent years. Yes, there's plenty there, but the food is often cold, and the selection has become very limited compared to a few years ago. The drinks selection is still excellent, but the prices have also shot up quite a bit (for some of the cold food).

Vastly overpriced and simply outrageous. Prices only include drinks. There are people, and many of them, who don't drink while eating. Children over 1.50 cm tall are charged as adults. If you spend more than two hours there, each half hour costs €2.50 in addition to the fixed price! They also charge an expense allowance if you leave too much food on your plate. Oh, and if you take an unfinished drink in a bottle, the alarm starts sounding 👍 NEVER AGAIN The taste is nothing special.

Our visit to Phönix was unfortunately disappointing. Neither the freshly prepared food nor the rest of the buffet were particularly tasty. Some dishes didn't seem quite fresh, while others were simply poorly prepared. One positive aspect is the all-you-can-drink offering with chilled canned drinks. Unfortunately, we experienced stomach upsets and a general feeling of unwellness after our meal. Of course, we can't say for sure whether this was related to our visit to the restaurant—but the timing was striking. Another visit is out of the question for us.

I was completely impressed by the Phönix Restaurant in the Libori Galerie! As soon as you enter, you receive a friendly welcome and immediately sense the relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance is modern yet cozy – perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The buffet is incredibly diverse: From classic Chinese dishes like crispy duck and fried noodles to sushi and freshly prepared teppanyaki – there's truly something for every taste. The quality of the food is particularly noteworthy: everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and regularly replenished. The service is fast, attentive, and very friendly – you feel welcome and well-cared for as a guest. The value for money is also excellent, especially considering the selection and freshness. In conclusion: If you're craving Asian cuisine in Paderborn, you should definitely pay a visit to the Phönix Restaurant. I'd be happy to come back!

I was a guest again on Friday (July 18, 2025) at 3:30 p.m. The food was delicious in every area, and the menu selection is unusually extensive. Cleanliness is a top priority. The beverage selection is overwhelming, even coffee. They even cover the parking fee. There's nothing to complain about at any point. On mostly quiet evenings, there should only be a surcharge of €5 instead of approximately €10. Then the number of visitors and revenue would probably double. My verdict: highly recommended

I don't tend to give negative reviews to restaurants. As far as I can remember, this is actually my first restaurant review. But: This is also my first restaurant visit where I voluntarily forwent a second course at the buffet. First of all: This review is subjective. I saw numerous other guests who, unlike us, seemed happy and satisfied. My experience: The meat seemed very dry to me, almost as if it had been reheated several times – even though we were there quite early for dinner. Many types of meat also had such a dominant smoky flavor that I could hardly taste any difference between chicken, duck, and other types of meat. The dessert, too... The ice cream seemed so soft to me that I didn't dare eat more than a few spoonfuls. The same goes for the interior: The chairs at our table were wobbly, and the furnishings were still the same as they had been during our last visit many years ago. However, it seemed very worn to me. What was particularly unpleasant was that the curtains next to our table were visibly dirty – I had the subjective impression that these were old food scraps. On the windowsill next to us, there were crumbs of various sizes and in various places. Of course, I can't say how long they had been there. After countless satisfying visits to various Chinese restaurants, this one experience is one that will remain in my memory! As I said: Other guests seemed quite happy. This review reflects only my subjective experience.

Great restaurant food very tasty

I wouldn't have thought it possible for a restaurant to deteriorate so much in quality and service within a few months. They offer the cheapest of the cheap. Quantity over quality. I won't go there again. Completely overpriced for zero quality. Fortunately, there are better alternatives in Paderborn.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel other parents should be warned. We visited this restaurant recently and they have a play area for kids. Unfortunately, the play area was in terrible condition — dirty, poorly maintained, and clearly unhygienic. Within minutes of playing there, my daughter ended up getting sick. I can’t say for certain the play area was the direct cause, but considering how filthy it was, I wouldn't be surprised. It's extremely concerning that a place catering to families would neglect such basic cleanliness standards. If you can't maintain the play area properly, then you really should just close it. It's a health risk — especially for young children — and completely unacceptable in a family-friendly establishment. Until serious improvements are made, I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise other parents to think twice.

A wide selection of drinks that you can drink without restrictions (even beer!), and everything is included in the admission price! Delicious food and a wide selection!!!

The food is okay, it's more about quantity than quality. I'd like less quantity and more quality. Tip: Fewer tables and more greenery, room dividers, and decorations. It's very loud at the moment; it feels like a cafeteria.

There were two of us there today and it wasn't nice at all! On the phone we were told a buffet price of €19.90 p.p. for today. called. But at the end we had to pay €31.50 per person. And that with moderate hunger!!! In addition, the dusty curtains around us were removed (the dust flew through the whole restaurant) and the windows were cleaned with strong-smelling cleaning products. Honestly, for €63 it was a real letdown!!!! No more visits from us!

Everything good, fresh and nice - including drinks - good value for money

The two of us ate there today and can't understand the negative reviews. The service was excellent and the lady was very friendly! The food was warm and tasted great too. Price-performance ratio is great, especially because of the numerous drinks on offer. We'd love to come back! :)

My favorite all you can eat. I've been there twice with my wife and it's always delicious. The atmosphere is very nice.

After 1 hour 35 minutes in the restaurant, an employee comes to us and says we have to get up because it's been 2 hours.

The sushi was a disaster! First, the fish was wilted, and the rice was partly dry and partly mushy. We cut the visit short, and then it all started! It was pure food poisoning with all the ensuing symptoms! Unfortunately, I didn't react when I was feeling better, and too much time has passed to take legal action!

Today we wanted to go out to eat, it was tasteless, everything was dry and overcooked, the shrimp was dry, the sushi came out of the freezer.

It's a nice buffet. There's everything from vegetables to meat. From fruit to vegetables. From sweet to sour. I like the buffet and go there often with my family. The staff is friendly, as they're from Asia, and so am I. The food is great, and there's nothing to complain about. The items are always refilled. The restrooms work, but there are some people who behave like idiots! Otherwise, everything's good ;)

After reading the reviews I was put off at first, but decided to give it a try anyway. It was definitely worth it, only 19.50 all you can eat and all you can drink was really great. The food was delicious, there were two things that weren't perfect but still acceptable and a large part was really great. Everything was clean and the staff constantly took care of everything, so really recommended :D

You shouldn't eat here. The drinks are of good quality. Eat very few things that are tasty. Fried noodle is a joke. Has nothing to do with Chinese noodles. The worst thing is that the food is lukewarm. By the time you get to the table it is cold. We were even brought cold food from the grill. Cleaning up is also a disaster. I wouldn't mind if you could bring the plate back to a designated place yourself. You're out and about anyway and get something new or something to drink.

Unfortunately the food no longer tastes like it used to, some of it is bland and most of it is very mushy, noodles are similar to spaghetti noodles, the freezer is very dirty, the coffee machine is also dirty, nuggets and fries are also mushy. Sometimes I had the feeling that the food from the previous day had been warmed up. No longer recommended. Now drive home hungry.

Yesterday we went to the Valentine's Special for €36.70, especially because we couldn't get a seat anywhere else. The barbecue was very diverse. I always eat the fish platter there. There was a lot to choose from this time. Lots of types of fish, crabs, mussels, shrimp, shrimp, halibut and fresh salmon. I often eat the fish there. I never caught anything there. It's all fresh. The selection of drinks is also very large and included in the price. The crowd yesterday was very large. There are lots of squares and lots of very comfortable, separated areas. A visit is definitely worth it.

I haven't been there for a long time and was therefore surprised. The quality of the food has noticeably decreased: The meat at the buffet was very dry in places, the sauces were sometimes rather bland and at the BBQ I didn't have all the ingredients that I had put together on my plate. I was there with a smaller group and it affected all of us.

Not recommended, parking tickets are not validated as stated, you order in advance, negotiate a price and they don't stick to it. All people who have had stomach surgery should avoid this restaurant! 150g of food for 31.50€...well congratulations....my husband had the food freshly prepared and constantly got burnt meat. I cannot recommend this restaurant in any way.

Went there today with a small group of people after gastric surgery. Despite prior information about this and our mini portions, not even a real children's portion, rather less, we had to pay the full price. On request and with a surgical ID card, then “only” €29.50 An absolute impudence and a total rip-off. Never go there again. I don't know of any other restaurant, regardless of type.

Never again doesn't taste good at all

I don't think I've ever eaten as badly as I did today in my entire life. All of the food was cold and just absolutely disgusting. I would never set foot in this store again. It was an absolute disgrace to also dismantle the food next to us even though the opening hours were still an hour away. Absolutely not recommended and you can invest your money in far better places!

The service is terrible. Tables are reserved with table numbers and no one knows of what. Just don't respond to the customer.

We have been regular guests at the Phönix for several years and always enjoy coming back. Are very satisfied with the service.
