This is a complete disaster!!! Everything is dry and cold, nothing freshly made, just catastrophic Not recommended, especially not for the price!

Worst place ever! never going back... the food is not fresh, very unorganized, too expensive for such kind of menu. And Toilets are worse than worst.

Good quality, good price, good selection. Is it the best and hottest meal you've ever had? Never, ever... but the one star reviews are laughable. Locker bosses from Yellow River and co. So if there's a Chinese buffet then here it's just because of the drinks flat.

Great value, free beer which is good quality. So much selection with a raw section where the cook for you. Great atmosphere, friendly staff.

Please clean the toilets more often! The toilet, sink, mirror and floor definitely need to be cleaned every day! It would be nice if there were a disinfectant dispenser in the toilets so you could disinfect the toilet seat yourself. Food is good but often lukewarm

We haven't eaten there for a long time, now I know why. The food is always just lukewarm. The selection has always been the same. It was great for my son, he was able to try out all kinds of fish and meat, but that was the only positive thing. The worst part is the allergen labeling. When I asked whether the chocolate in the chocolate fountain was gluten-free, I was told that the box was empty, I couldn't check it, so it was better to leave it out. Likewise with the ice cream or the fries. For allergy sufferers or people with celiac disease, this is not an option to eat out!!! Unfortunately!!! I always thought allergen labels were mandatory in restaurants?!

Aijaijai just don't, never again. How can you, for example, How to prepare a duck so carelessly? It has nothing to do with Chinese culture or cooking. It's a real shame and never again, not even for fried noodles, sorry.

Food as already rated by others was lukewarm and of poor quality. Staff partly very unfriendly. Have otherwise gone there often. I had gastric surgery and always got a discount because I don't get that much done. Last time I was told they couldn't give me a discount because it had been 2 years since the operation. The staff came to the table specifically to calculate this for me. In the future we will avoid this "restaurant".

Very disappointed. Unfortunately the food was cold or only lukewarm. Some things were very hard. You could hardly eat fries or duck. The spring rolls were very oily. The Cola and Fanta tasted like water with a bit of syrup. Unfortunately not recommended. But the staff was very nice and friendly!!

Some of the food was cold and salty and the food wasn't freshly prepared either. The selection at the buffet wasn't great and the price was really expensive. I was really disappointed. And the peanut sauce was so disgusting that I almost had to puke, the sauce was really thick and gray!!! And it didn't taste like anything and I don't even want to get started on the service. Plates were piled up. After 15 minutes, only one person came and cleared them away. Our table wasn't even covered. Never again, that was the first and the last time

Very relaxed, there is always a lot to choose from. Drinks are included in the all-you-can-eat price. This sets Phönix apart from other all-you-can-eat restaurants.

The buffet is disappointing. Nothing is really tasty and everything has been sitting around for so long that it is tough or dried out. There is an extensive range of ingredients available for the grill: all kinds of meat, fish and vegetables. However, the cook (picked straight off the street?) cremates everything, so that it becomes an inedible, indefinable mess. Everything is tough and black. Really a shame. The sushi is honestly the worst I've ever eaten. From the supermarket is even better. Everything is dingy and dirty. The only thing that makes me give two stars is the extensive range of drinks that you can have unlimitedly.

I would like to comment on the restaurant. We had dinner with our family. I thought everything was great and well organized in terms of space and everything. Unfortunately there wasn't much choice to eat. That's the only thing. The rest was great and the drinks were all free and chilled.

It's a nice, big, Chinese restaurant. The selection of food is huge and it tastes excellent. The location is advantageous, right in the city. If you arrive by car, you can park in the Libori Gallery car park, everything is under one roof.

The food was good with drinks. We wanted to have two fortune cookies, but we were refused. You have to eat the fortune cookies in the Phönix restaurant, not to take away. Otherwise everything was great.

So today I was there with my family. I have to say this is the first time I've done a review like this. But what I experienced today was really bad. Was there today with my wife and 2 children, ages 6 and 10. After the first plate, the children and I had slight stomach cramps and didn't think anything of it. After about an hour we wanted to go and pay. Suddenly they said 103 euros. Was shocked for a moment. Adults were around 30 euros and children 13 euros. When I asked how the price of 103 euros came about, the boss said because of my daughter, who is 10 years old. I thought she was 150 cm tall. He so No, she's bigger. There was a benchmark on the door which they sorted out themselves. 151cm came out. I said, are you serious? If she took off her shoes, 3 cm would be deducted. He said no. It's not about the 17 euros that I paid more, but to charge full price for a 10 year old girl who only ate one plate and exceeded 1cm of the requirement, I find it outrageous. So for us it was the last time. Have fun with the 17 euros. My family are going there very quickly but will all advise against it now. If it were around 5 cm more I would say ok, I can understand that. But 1cm. So they probably really need the money.

I once had a dinner here. Food and service is pretty good.

So I can't complain about the food at all. There are all sorts of things and plenty of them too. The only thing that bothers me is that it is very loud. But otherwise great.

We came for the first time on the recommendation of friends with them, what can we say, the atmosphere is excellent, at the entrance we were greeted and shown to a table according to the number of people, and then we walked through the hall with a buffet, of course, an abundance of food, desserts and the presence of drinks in huge quantities, quality and the freshness is at the highest level, if you want to drink alcohol there is a separate fee, all the best and have a nice time

There's a lot of choice at the buffet, with food that's already prepared as well as food that you can have freshly prepared. Unfortunately there was no choice of fish at the "finished" buffet, there was only baked squid rings and shrimp. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is super friendly and very attentive. It definitely won't be my last visit there.

Some of the food was cold and what I found really outrageous, we were there with 2 children (4 & 6) and both ate a few fries and chicken nuggets and a bit of dessert but I think 13.80 euros per child is really extreme when you think about it how little they eat at that age. There are better solutions in the area. I liked that there was a small play area. Unfortunately there are also machines everywhere where children want money. The selection of drinks is great, but unfortunately they are often warm.

Very nice restaurant in the middle of the city. Nice staff and above all - delicious food as much as you can eat. There is also a parking garage where you can park for free for 2 hours. Heart, what do you want more. We always enjoy coming back.

We actually liked being there, but the quality of the food was very poor, sometimes soggy instead of crispy. Since we were there in the evening, BBQ was included. The chef who prepared it constantly grabbed his nose and didn't even wash his hands afterwards.. hygienically, it was really a disaster.. We will no longer eat there for €59 for two people.

We parked in the Liborigallery and only passed the Phoenix by chance. We really liked the all you can eat offer for 18.50 euros per person (adults) including drinks. The lunch buffet was always full, the food was delicious and the service was good and attentive. We really liked it

I've really enjoyed eating with you so far. However, the food at the buffet recently was cold and unfortunately not edible... It's better to prepare small portions fresh and hot. Than to provide large mountains with completely cold and muddy food. It's a real shame that it's been neglected like this

Nothing special. The meat (beef) could be softer, squid rings were mushy and not crispy. Chicken nuggets weren't fresh either - cold.

We (my wife and I) ate here again after a long time. We were there at lunchtime and ordered a menu from a card. We were served in a friendly manner and we enjoyed it very much. We will eat here more often. We cannot understand the many negative reviews. If you have such high standards, you should go to the “Balthasar” restaurant.

Just mass, no class. A cheap lunch buffet including drinks sounds good at first. Unfortunately, that was the only pleasant thing about our visit. No labels at the buffet, cold food, meat sometimes hard and fried for far too long, drinks not properly chilled... The service was very nice, you could park for free for 2 hours. The ambience is also fine. So you can certainly go there if you don't value quality at all and just want to be full. But honestly... it's better to pay a little more for a delicious portion with a drink and you'll be happy. But it's also clear to me...the price comes from somewhere. Maybe saved at the wrong end.

We were there today for the first and certainly the last time. I can't understand the many positive reviews, but maybe the evening buffet is better. The lunch buffet didn't convince us at all. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. Not much choice as almost all lunch dishes consist of chicken (in various sauces). Only one fish dish, one duck and one shrimp. Unfortunately, most of the chicken was too dry and once undercooked, almost raw. Very restless atmosphere, not comfortable at all. When we got dessert, our table was already cleared and cleaned. I found it very unpleasant, I didn't feel welcome, I felt like I was on an assembly line. There is one star for the fact that the drinks are included and the second for the fact that the employees tried very hard to ensure that the buffet was always filled.

Was there 8 to 10 years ago, swore I would never go there again because it was so bad, but today we went because of the second chance and because it was the cheapest in Paderborn. But it didn't get any better today, food almost cold, (except what you had fried, which was black) finished dishes were rancid, breaded chicken was dry on the edges and rock hard, you know how it is, let a schnitzel sit in the air for a day 😅, were there for 1.5 hours and the ginger for the sushi wasn't refilled. In addition, you now have a time limit for an all you can eat, so if you eat with 2 or 3 generations then the 2.5 hours are hardly enough for a leisurely meal. When we got home everyone wanted to go to the toilet straight away. Drinks are included which was great, I drank more than I ate. It's better to go to Dynastie, it costs a little more but the ambience and the food are much, much better.

Price performance is right. A good place to get a quick meal with the kids. No long wait. For us, the restaurant isn't anything out of the ordinary or super modern. The food tasted good but not everything was perfect. To be honest, I don't expect it at that price. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would come again. ☺️

We went there for lunch on our first visit to Paderborn. Rich buffet offering with a wide selection of different cold and warm dishes, as well as sweet dishes including the option of a BBQ. Dishes were fresh and neatly prepared. Drinks selection was very large. Staff was friendly. It's nice that you get credit for 2 hours of parking in the Libori Gallery car park.

UPDATE! SATURDAY March 16th, never seen so many dirty dishes in the Phoenix, only every third plate/bowl/cutlery was really clean. The buffet was also reduced, no more cheese balls, among other things, samba Oleg was missing... the staff were apparently not allowed to smile or talk, super unfriendly long faces... we were really annoyed!!! Price increased... Quality, selection and friendliness drastically reduced, really just expensive mass production :( NO GO ... !!! APRIL 23' Nice staff, and definitely always something for everyone. Mega selection of savory dishes, salads, desserts, drinks both warm and cold 👍

Top price-performance ratio. As long as you have the goods on offer freshly prepared, there is nothing wrong with the quality :-) I didn't eat any of the prepared dishes. There is probably no comparable offer in Germany for the money :-)

The restaurant has recently been redesigned and the atmosphere is good. The service is top!! The food from the hot plate at the buffet is also quickly at the table. And there is a large selection at the buffet. If someone has a request or something to comment on, they can always contact the service, who will help quickly and easily, even if the restaurant is often full.

Many offers but of poor quality, prices are cheap and there are also drinks included. The staff was unfortunately very unfriendly, the waitress stood in front of the table before I sat down to eat and really wanted me to pay before I eat, even though all the people next to me paid as normal after the meal, I tried to talk to the manager about it afterwards, but he reacted more aggressively and said to myself: if you take a bus you pay before entry. So never again in my life.

My first time there. Everything was actually quite good so far. 18.50€ for all-u-can-eat. - in my case, €18.50 too much unfortunately. Surely there is something that tastes good. Relatively clear actually. Staff friendly and fun... Well, now to what bothered me. I've eaten raw fish often enough. Unfortunately, I discovered that the restaurant was completely tasteless. So really no taste. Had 3 different types. The one type, it should have been salmon, there was really no taste, neither fish taste, nor... I don't know, but it was like I was biting into something that had absolutely no taste whatsoever. The second type, not definable because you couldn't tell, also had no taste at all - I tasted the leaf more than the rest of it, the rice, which was tasteless, had more taste than that Fish. Overall, these two different ones were a failure. At first I thought I was suffering from an aberration of taste. Until ☝🏽 I heard the neighboring table saying something similar. 😒🤬 The third one, I don't remember what it was or what it was called, was also next to it. This was the worst in terms of taste. Terrible. My daughter with me. That's why I spoke to the manager afterwards, who spoke politely and not as I would normally. He told me, indirectly 🤷🏻‍♂️ that I had no idea and that fish always had to and would taste like that. Since I filled half a plate full first to see how it tasted, I was really angry inside because I had to pay €18.50 for the inedible thing. I was so fair, really very friendly and careful with my choice of words and volume. I also made sure that no one else noticed, or at least tried. He said afterwards that he would look into it. Nothing more came. I was hoping I wouldn't have to pay anything because I declared it straight away. This manager lied. I stayed slightly hidden in the background and watched him, he let him take a look. A manager actually looks directly, especially at fish. I don't want a voucher or anything like that. Actually I just want my money back. Because the worst is yet to come. Maybe it's my imagination, but my daughter went to the bathroom about 40 minutes later and complained of a stomach ache. Coincidence?

We were there for lunch yesterday. Rich offering with a lot of choice of different dishes that you can put together yourself. Dishes were fresh and neatly prepared. Drinks selection was also okay as was the dessert selection. I didn't have any gastrointestinal problems afterwards and no heartburn. Everything fine. Staff was also friendly and nice. Keep it up👍. We will come back!!!! Regarding the other reviews, you should distinguish a gastrointestinal infection from food poisoning or certainly not associate a sudden flu infection with body aches with eating.

I don't understand the other reviews. Buffet food was great. I've been coming there every few months for the past 2 years. Of course it has become a little more expensive but for the selection at the buffet plus drinks it is still more than fair.

The food was very carelessly prepared. Very poor hygiene condition, the tables are not clean. The drinks beer and cola were very warm. The food was cold. Staff is very unfriendly. But the bad thing was that the three of us were sick afterwards. Approx. Half an hour after eating we got a headache, nausea, muscle pain and joint pain. We were so weak that it was almost impossible for us to walk to the car. This condition lasted for about five to six hours...it was like poisoning... Once and never again !!!

Surprisingly large selection of main courses, desserts and drinks. Even if you don't have a particular preference for Asian food, you can find something for everyone here. Service and ambience are impeccable 👍🏻

There were three of us there, and immediately after the visit we even had to drive through red lights to get to the nearest toilet, otherwise the car seats would now be brown/green. We'll never eat there again.

That was definitely our last visit there. The drink selection has been drastically reduced compared to before, while the price has increased significantly. The names often do not correspond to what food is actually in the area, which would be bad for allergy sufferers. But the worst part: The food is apparently not cooled properly or perhaps not prepared hygienically, because I tolerated it very badly, some of it came back up, and I felt bad the whole next day. Just below is the Alex, we've never been disappointed there, I'd rather go there.

The food is most likely not fresh and/or unhygienic because I got a nasty case of food poisoning a few hours after going to the restaurant (which I never get since I don't have a sensitive stomach) that made me vomit all night long. I also became ill with fever, chills and body aches. I really regret going there and it also became too expensive. Overall, a blatant downgrade from back then.

Very nice ! Good selection of food and drinks beers,soft drinks,coffee all included in the price of the buffet which is a really great idea but be aware that they are only 2 hour sittings anything after that they can charge you ! Not alot but just for you to know all in all it was a great night full tummies!😁 highly recommended 😃

That's it for us! Twice something was given to fry and twice something was served with other ingredients. The sanitary facilities were unacceptable. Wet and sticky everywhere, the wastebaskets overflowing and toilet paper all over the floor. The hammer came at the end. I had to pay the full price of €29.50 for my 10 year old daughter (152 cm) who drank a plate of pasta, 2 pieces of jelly and a juice! The staff didn't let anyone talk to them. Sometimes it's better to read reviews first

Been there again after a long time and yes, it's true. It's just mass instead of class. The food is carelessly prepared and tastes bland. I used to be a fan of the BBQ station, yesterday I returned the food === The lamb chops were old rancid mutton and the crayfish were inedible, the waitress came every 5 minutes to clear our table and the drinks station was lukewarm... The whole thing for 29.50 per person... For this amount you can eat much better in Paderborn.

Essen war naja…. Aber was schlimm war das mein Kollege Geburtstag hat und ein Geschenk bekommen. Am Ende hat er bei der Bezahlung kein Trinkgeld gegeben wodurch der Mitarbeiter das Geschenk wieder zurücknahm. Trotz Geburtstag ist es trotzdem dreist. Daran sieht man, dass der Laden hier auf Trinkgeld angewiesen ist

Die Qualität hat leider nachgelassen. Nachtisch haben wir nicht mehr bekommen, da um 21.30 Uhr schon alles weggeräumt war.

Was absolute abzocke ist, ist der Preis!! 29,50€ + Getränke pro Person sind für dieses Essen definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt! Kinder müssen in Grösse, nicht in Alter zahlen! Somit hat der äußerst seltsame Kellner, der sehr unfreundlich war, mein Kind als über einen Meter gewertet (sie ist 4)und sie musste 13,90€ zahlen! Für 3 Nuggets und einem Apfelsaft! Da kann man am Rande von Paderborn wesentlich besser Essen, mit gleichem Konzept!! Also das Geld kann man sich wirklich sparen!!!!!!!

Essen in Ordnung. Etwas Kritik gibt es daran zu äußern das Kinder preislich nicht sonderlich berücksichtigt werden. Nicht alterstechnisch sondern ab 1.50m gilt der volle Preis. Wer jetzt selber noch Nachzügler in der Familie hat die vlt etwas größer als der Durchschnitt sind wird sofort verstehen was ich meine

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und hochqualitatives Essen, das nicht überwürzt ist, wie bei vielen anderen asiatischen Restaurants. Die tolle Möglichkeit, sich etwas selbst zusammenzustellen und zubereiten zu lassen, kommt mir als Veganer sehr entgegen. Immer wieder gerne.

Leider stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr :( In den letzten Jahren ist der Preis für das all you can eat immer weiter gestiegen. Lag dieser früher noch bei 18€ sind wir mittlerweile bei 28,50€ angelangt. Für den Preis bietet das Lokal zwar eine große Auswahl, die man jedoch nicht voll umfänglich auskosten kann. Als Otto normal verbrauche kann man sich nur durch wenige Bereiche durchprobieren und deren Qualität ist dann nur durchschnittlich bis schlecht. Geschmack jedoch immer gut. Weniger dafür qualitativ besser wäre hier für mich die bessere Wahl. Alternativ könnte auch eine Reduzierung des Preises helfen. Die Einrichtung ist mittlerweile auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Sauberkeit lässt auch zu wünschen übrig. Auf den Toiletten waren kot Spuren und oder Urin. Die Tische wurden trotz ihrer Hochglanz Optik nicht ausreichend geputzt und waren fleckig. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aber auch darauf aus möglichst viele Personen in wenig Zeit durch das Restaurant zu bringen. Positiv zu erwähnen wäre aber noch das die Getränke mit im all you can eat sind. Mit freundlichen Grüßen 🙋

Ich finde dieses Restaurant ist sehr gut .Personal ist top total freundlich es gibt sehr viel Auswahl und sehr leckere Speisen. Ich würde dieses Restaurant sehr empfehlen

Sehr freundliches Personal. Ich gehe für gewöhnlich eher zum Griechen, aber das Phönix ist eine tolle Alternative. An sonnsten wird man ja mit Dönerbuden zugemüllt. Deswegen war ich sehr froh im Phönix essen gewesen zu sein. Ich fand es lecker und der Preis passt auch. Wir kommen wieder :-)

Super zentrale Lage Parkplätze im selben Gebäude Sehr nettes & aufmerksames Personal Wir gehen immer nur zum Mittagstisch dort essen. Für 17.80€ inklusive Getränke kann man da echt nicht meckern. Große Auswahl an Getränken / Speisen ( warm & kalt ) Ab 17 Uhr ist es gleich 10€ teurer. Im ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Restaurant. Teilweise ziemlich laut, da es viele Sitzplätze gibt. Es ist eben ein größerer Chinese! Die WC Räume können mehr "Pflege“ vertragen… waren nicht als so sauber.
