Fantastic authentic restaurant. The baozi are great, and quite big too. There are a few dishes for vegetarians, but meat eaters fare better.

Update: For me it is (by far) the first choice for Chinese food in Paderborn. How come? Because there isn't just sweet and sour duck or 8 delicacies here. On the contrary! The menu includes 58 delicacies, most of which you have probably never eaten before. I have now tried around 70% of the menu and have never been disappointed. If you're not in the mood for run-of-the-mill Chinese takeaway food, this is the place for you. The portions are generous, the prices are fair and the service is absolutely fast, reliable and friendly. A quick tip: the back of the card contains a Chinese page that is only partially translated. There are still some delicacies hidden there 😊 Two downsides: the shop could be a little more comfortable and payment by credit card is no longer possible. Therefore only 4 stars.

I always enjoy coming here. The dishes differ significantly from a standard Asian snack, which is why I would recommend not trying the classic sweet and sour chicken/duck, but something different. I prefer to eat the ramen or the hand knife noodles.

In Paderborn one of the only shops with good ramen etc., service etc. is friendly. You also get a kind of appetizer (banchan) for free, which tastes very good. So far all the dishes have convinced me. Great value for money. Highly recommended. It's still in the center, so to speak, so it's easily accessible. Even if it doesn't really look like it from the outside, the food tastes very good (by Paderborn standards)!

Good morning! We were at ChiHot today (August 16th). We like to eat ramen, but we didn't know the place yet. The food was okay for the price and the quantity was more than enough. There was also a little something upfront, which was super cool! :) Unfortunately, we totally overestimated the quantity when we ordered, so half of our dishes were left over. When we asked if we could pack the rest, the lady behind the counter replied with "we don't do half and half". Since all the dishes on the menu are also available to take away, we were very surprised. Unfortunately really unfriendly and a shame about the food.

The food was delicious but the treatment there was really very unfriendly. It was so hot in the store that my partner and I were completely hungry. It was 20 degrees outside and an estimated 33C inside. They don't pack food. I politely said that the food was very tasty but that we really couldn't eat it in the heat there and whether it would be possible to have it packed up. She was extremely annoyed that I asked and expressed it like "yes, bad luck". So I only have a nice experience where people radiate friendliness and unfortunately that wasn't the case at all. We had to eat two while we were eating We went outside because we were sweating like we were in a sauna. Our neighbors at the table confirmed the whole thing to us.

Delicious food, but unfortunately way too hot in there on warm days. No effective air conditioning. In addition, our leftovers weren't packed, which was really annoying; Food waste. The selection of dishes and the portions are good, but the owner really still has a lot of room for improvement when it comes to friendliness. We were practically regular customers and enjoyed coming. It's a shame she doesn't appreciate that. As already mentioned, having food packed seems to be an absolutely huge problem.

Eaten on site. Chop Suey was very tasty and plentiful. Fresh ingredients. Great selection, several ramen dishes. A small appetizer is served free of charge. Price-performance fits. Nice service. Gladly again.

We ate here on Friday and were thrilled. As an appetizer there was a sweet surprise which consisted of some kimchi and other things - free and very thoughtful! The main courses were fantastic: the homemade ramen noodles were perfectly prepared and generously portioned. Everything we ordered was extremely tasty and the portions were really big. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity; The two of us only paid around €30. It was a snack bar but not a 5-star restaurant. Unfortunately there were no desserts that we would have wanted. The service was extremely nice and attentive. Overall a great experience!

I was here as a tourist and read previously that they serve large portions and don't pack anything in case there is any left over. I wanted to order dumplings first, but they were already sold out (6 p.m.). I then wanted to order Mapo Tofu and asked for a slightly smaller portion and would also pay the normal price. I was informed that they would not do such a thing. I still don't understand the meaning to this day. I definitely don't want to throw away food. So I just took a starter (duck in dumpling and hoisin sauce). It was quite okay. The ambience is simple and practical. It was pretty hot in the store itself. I will give the shop another chance next time I'm in Paderborn because I believe they make good food and can do it better. Maybe they just had a stressful day.

Our favorite restaurant! Very tasty food, large portions and top quality! The prices are completely reasonable. We always really enjoy coming. Tip: Don't forget the Tupperware container for the leftovers and understand the restaurant's decision not to pack the leftovers! Saves unnecessary packaging waste and stress for the owner :)

The food was quite good. But what's completely outrageous - we weren't allowed to take the leftover food home with us. They'll rather throw it away - that's what the owner (or waitress) told us. Completely incomprehensible. So we won't come back.

The ChiHot was recommended to me. The service is attentive, friendly and helpful. I had "Beefy Pulled Noodle Soup" it was very tasty.

I went to this Chinese restaurant with my friends for dinner. The place is kinda small, but the vibe is cozy. The staff wasn't exactly the friendliest, but they did give us some free kimchi and salad. We ordered kimchi, veggie noodles, and crispy duck in soy sauce with sprouts. The kimchi was bomb, with a sweet, spicy, and sour flavor. The noodles were delish, and the crispy duck was on point. The portions were pretty generous for the price. But here's the thing, they wouldn't let us take our leftovers home. They said it's their policy or something. I don't get it, man. We ended up wasting so much food. When I asked the waitress about it, she was kinda rude. Not cool. I don't think I'll be going back there, even though the food was good.

Very tasty food, no 0815 like you often get served. I think the prices are absolutely reasonable for what you get, I even left a tip because I liked it that much. The service here is also very nice. The shop is cozy and can therefore get full quite quickly, but that's not a bad thing and in my opinion it shows that there is good food here. If I visit Paderborn again, I will eat here again.

I used to enjoy coming here weekly. After a long time I walked into a crowded store where it already looked stressed. The woman at the counter was very annoyed and stressed. I asked if we could get another sauce? Was answered sloppily. Food used to be better but the quality was no longer ok. You notice that everything is fading. A pity! Super lovely staff, especially the owner herself. Mega delicious food, always fresh and hot and perfectly seasoned. If necessary, sauces (e.g. hot sauce) can be added by self-service. There is always a small appetizer platter with kimchi, pickled cabbage and fried bread. Dreamy!

Not to be compared with the other Chinese snacks. It's much more authentic. Recommendation for fans of Asian (Chinese) cuisine. Top: homemade jiaoze (fried dumplings), which aren't even on the big menu above the counter, but they're really good.

Was here for the first time after a colleague recommended it to me. A very small shop where fresh food is cooked right in front of the customer. This means it smells very much like fried food, which is why I personally wouldn't eat there. When we got home, we tried the frame soup with chicken, baozi (steamed, stuffed dough balls), meaty chizza (dough cakes filled with meat + leek) and the meat-filled dumplings. Everything was tasty and felt authentic. I paid just under €30 for the four things - a fair price for the freshness of the products.

Ich hatte eine Ramen mit Rindfleisch und bin sehr begeistert, schön heiß, schön scharf, frische Sprossen, Pok Choi und die selbstgemachten Nudeln waren sensationell. Das halbe Ei dürfte etwas weicher gekocht sein, aber Alles in Allem eine Nudelsuppe die in Paderborn ihres Gleichen sucht. Habe mittlerweile auch Pork und Seafood Ramen probiert, auch sehr lecker, mittlerweile war auch das halbe Ei wachsweich gekocht. Unbedingt mal probieren. Ich fände es auch toll wenn es die Suppe mittags als kleine Portion. Zum Mittagspreis gäbe. Update: Ich bin seit langem wieder mal dort gewesen und die Ramen Suppe mit Schweinebraten schmeckt immer noch sensationell. Und für diese Portionsgröße würde man in Little Tokyo in Düsseldorf locker das Doppelte bezahlen. Die Besitzerin betont auch, die Nudeln sind hausgemacht.

Wir haben von den tollen Bewertungen gehört und wollten das Essen ausprobieren, also 2 Gerichte zum mitnehmen bestellt. Zu Hause gab es dann die große Überraschung. Wir hatten Ente süss sauer mit Reis, jeweils eine sehr große Portion, aber mangelhaft in der Qualität. Die Ente war dunkelbraun frittiert und teilweise knüppelhart und nicht zu kauen,die Sosse war überladen mit Essig und die Salatbeilage war Weisskraut mit Sojasprossen. Am Reis kann man bekanntlich wenig falsch machen. Das alles zu einem Preis von 25 Euro...noch Fragen? Wir gehen in Zukunft wieder zum Pader China Imbiss am Nordbahnhof,die sind top in der Qualität! So ist es leider wenn man etwas Neues ausprobieren will, anstatt dem Altbewährten nach zu gehen. Die Bewertungen hier sind uns jedenfalls unverständlich...

Nicht vom Ambiente und äußerlichen erscheinungsbild abschrecken lassen. Die knife noodle sind geschmacklich sehr gut. Gut gewürzt, Gemüse noch knackig, rundum perfekt. Werde jetzt öfters dort bestellen oder essen. Vielen Dank für diese gute Qualität. 😀

Eins meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants, besonders die Jaozi sind immer großartig, an häufige Bestellungen wird sich teilweise nach längerer Zeit noch erinnert. Insgesamt ein Restaurant, dass das eigene Werk und die Kunden wertschätzt!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Man erhält eine kleine Vorspeise, was ich sehr nett fand. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Das einzige was ein bisschen stört, ist dass man nachher selbst nach dem chinesischen Essen riecht, da die Küche nicht separat ist.

Das Restaurant ist von außen unscheinbar und hatte mich bisher nie angesprochen, obwohl ich schon sehr oft daran vorbeigelaufen bin. Heute bin ich spontan einfach mal rein, um Ramen-Suppe zu probieren. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, vom Essen war ich aber absolut positiv überrascht.Die Veggie-Variante war sehr lecker, die Portion groß. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Mein Geheimtipp ab heute.

Das Essen im chihot wird immer frisch zubereitet. Wir lieben die knusprige Ente. Auch wenn das Ambiente nicht sooo einladend ist, ist das Essen einfach überzeugend und wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Amazing food, since I am in Germany this is the closest I have eaten to the real Chinese cuisine. Noodles are handmade amazing texture just the right amount of chewiness. If anyone knows the hand stretched noodles from China these are the same texture, chewiness and taste. We had the beef ramen and the vegetarian one, we got an extra appetizer with specific Chinese bread and pickled vegetable + (kimchi). If you are in Paderborn this is the place to go for some traditional Chinese lamian (ramen). The owner are also originally from China very open and chatty. Prices also around normal Asian fast-food prices for an amazing experience, you can it in or takeout. Will go back for sure!!! Was again today, is as good as before.

Sehr lecker ist das Essen, aber manchmal ist der Service merkwürdig. Es gibts auch viele Optionen von Essen. Vorspeisen sind sehr lecker.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und sind sehr zufrieden. Wir haben ramen Suppe gegessen und die Portion sind riesig. Dazu haben wir kimchi (welches sehr gut geschmeckt hat) und vier Getränke bestellt, und nur 35€ gezahlt. Wir würden aufjedenfall wieder kommen

Knife Noodles sind der Hit! Essen immer frisch zubereitet und Heiß. Portionsgröße ist auch Top und immer alles nach spätestens 20 Minuten abholbereit.

Hervorragende hausgemachte Nudeln, sehr günstiges Essen, große Portionen, eine nette Vorspeise kostenlos, Baozi wie man sie sich wünscht - man kann nicht wirklich mehr verlangen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Ich kann ChiHot rundum empfehlen. Man freut sich über solche Läden. Hier werde ich definitiv häufiger speisen.

The restaurant serves delicious Chinese food, and the owner is very friendly. Been there twice, and you will be served with a little platter of Youtiao/Cakoi (whatever you call it)+Kimchi after ordering your food. I have tried their Beef Ramen Noodles and Fried Rice With Chinese-Style Bacon, and both of them are yummy and savoury.

Holy! Das nenne ich geiles essen! Ob authentisch? Kann ich nicht sagen, aber was ich sagen kann, es ist definitiv nicht eingedeutscht. Hab eine Pork Ramen Suppe bestellt. Es war meine erste und wusste nicht welche Erwartungen ich haben soll, aber diese wurde weitaus übertroffen! Das sidedish: würzig, scharf peppig, geil! Die Suppe ordentlich würzig, das Schwein mega lecker, und die Nudeln reichhaltig. Die Portion war dem Preis absolut angemessen und ich komme definitiv häufiger und probiere mich durch die Speisekarte. Mein absoluter Tipp für Paderborn. Danke, endlich mal was anderes.

Ein sehr authentisches Restaurant mit traditionellen chinesischen Speisen. Echt lecker! Schmeckt wie Zuhause bei Mama! Und die Portionen sind auch ordentlich. Wundert mich nicht,dass der Laden so gut besucht ist. Ich werde mich auf jeden Fall durch die Speisekarte futtern. Absolute Empfehlung!
