Very tasty, very satisfied, 10/10

Even as a child, I exchanged my pocket money for ice cream there 35 years ago. I live far away now, but when we meet up there with the family, I've never been disappointed. The rump steak and salads are great. Schnitzel is also highly recommended. The classic is of course the chicken, which everyone is always enthusiastic about. Service quick and friendly.

Unfortunately, the nice, friendly and very accommodating Sevickraft is no longer employed in the local time. The new one The ambience has become very nice. Unfortunately the boss is a bit unfriendly. But I still like going to the café

I really liked the Aleppo Tor Restaurant in Merzig. I've been there several times, today for dinner. It's a Mexican/Syrian restaurant in the old town. First there was a greeting from the kitchen and then I had a chili con carne. And as a service, the question of how spicy the stew should be. I thought it was great! And then a mixed grill plate for one person. It was tasty and generous in size. All in all a successful evening!

A really, really good place with a cozy atmosphere, nice people and good food. Always worth a visit! Also great for celebrations.

The Ellerhof is beautifully situated on the mountain. Good view of all of Merzig. Unfortunately, it's getting a bit old. The decoration needs to be completely rethought and renewed. The food is good. The way it is served is also getting old. Great wine selection. The service is okay.

Since the tenant/owner changed (after Corona) I can no longer make any recommendations, the portions are so small that you go home hungry, and not so tasty that you want to go back a second time. Unfortunately I have to have one too Give it a star otherwise I can't give a rating. The new tenants deserve 0 stars.. For me one of the worst restaurants around here.. It's a shame, I was previously a regular customer with 4 people (Before Corona with the "old" tenant/owner)
