Im Sommer ist es natürlich die Terrasse oberhalb des Rheins, auf der man den Ausblick förmlich trinken kann. Aber auch im großen Speisesaal mit seinen Kronleuchtern oder in der Bar mit ihren bunt bemalten Fenstern und eigenwilligen Kunstwerken gibt es nicht nur auf dem Teller etwas zu bestaunen. Die Karte mit ihren Klassikern, vom Flammkuchen bis zum Schwarzfederhuhn, sowie den reizvollen Weinangeboten verspricht nicht zuviel. Die Gerichte sind allesamt auf eine charmante Art leicht und appetitlich zubereitet.

Took our cars that were parked hostage by blocking them in and would only release them after being paid €30 for each car.

Can't recommend this meal! We waited over an hour for our food and then it arrived completely cold. Literally everything was cold, the burger, the fries, the pizza and the pasta. As if that wasn't enough, the pasta, which was supposed to be with onions, mushrooms and chicken in a cream sauce, was only with what was listed. No spices! Not even salt. Really outrageous!

Usually the pizza tastes quite good. Today she was terrible. As if you had forgotten the salt.

Great location, the staff quick and friendly. The vegan currywurst was delicious, but could have used a little more curry and frying time (for my taste buds). Price slightly increased in line with local prices.

We were generally quite happy with the location. Unfortunately I have to agree with the previous comments regarding the cutlery - we also had a lot of food residue - by that I don't mean stains, but actual food residue, but we threw it in the dishwasher and it was fine. - Toilets were clean; Soap and disinfectant available - Kitchen in general: wasn't dirty, was OK; as this didn't play a big role for us as we had a catering service General main room: - Floor was clean - Signs of wear everywhere, but that's normal, nothing dramatic - Sound system, TV and LEDs were TOP - the room would be too small for 85 people. But for 40 it worked out great. - Very nice atmosphere - Tables adjustable and perfect with your own tablecloths - There were enough parking spaces for us after 5 p.m - Unfortunately I have to agree with the previous comments, the stairs are very disadvantageous, especially when it rains, and the space for etc Not easy to reach older people, people with walking difficulties and children - Ashtray was in front of the door and was full, despite the location's sign that smoking was not allowed in the entrance area - However, the residents of the house do not adhere to this - but the owner of the location cannot do anything about that - Caution ! Don't open the garbage cans - massive maggot infestation. This is because residents throw open garbage bags into the trash cans To the landlord: Comments understandable. It was a bit difficult for us at the beginning too. However, when we asked for the bill, it was completed in minutes, which I found to be very good. Price: According to the website 300 euros - but it is 400 euros. So at least for us it was 400 euros with the reason that the price had changed. Unfortunately, two weeks later the price on the website has not yet been adjusted. After speaking to us, we were told that nothing could be done about the price because it had been entered incorrectly on the website. Deposit is not recorded on the invoice and there is no receipt/letter regarding the deposit given. Soooo but now generally back to the location and the service: Despite the many aspects, we had a really great time. The key handover went smoothly and Ms. Hunsecker, who met us at the location on time, was very friendly and courteous and explained everything to us very well. She was available at any time and I would give 10 stars for this service from Ms. Hunsecker alone. We also received the deposit back. We received the key to the location two days in advance, which was perfect for us, so we didn't have to stress about setting everything up in advance. We would be happy to come back with 40 people and a catering service. Thank you again Ms. Hunsecker for the great support.

Easter brunch for just under 55 euros per person, plus drinks, I was expecting a different buffet. We were disappointed.

We were very happy that we discovered this place while hiking between the Trasshöhlen and the Wolfsschlucht! We were served very friendly and also had the opportunity to chat a bit. Very friendly there. There was only “snacks” to eat, but bockwurst and fries were very, very tasty and great price! The drinks were delivered quickly and the Vulkan beer from the nearby brewery was also great! We would stop by if we were in the area again! Greetings from the Ruhr area!
