Since returning to the restaurant after a long hiatus under new management, we've enjoyed eating here. The pizza, pasta, burgers, and salads have never given us cause for complaint. The service is friendly and accommodating; the location on the banks of the Moselle is fantastic!

Highly recommended! We were visiting the campsite 5 minutes away and, on the recommendation of other campers, ate at Il Capitano on October 22, 2025. The food was truly delicious, and we couldn't have asked for more. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fair. The owners (a family business) are super friendly and accommodating; even our dog was welcome and was given a drink without being asked. Go there, eat something delicious, and have a lovely evening like we did.

We were at the campsite and couldn't get a spot at the Italian restaurant. So we went to this restaurant. It's not far away. The food was delicious and the service very friendly and attentive. The ambiance could definitely be improved. We would definitely come back.👍🏻👍🏻

We were here for dinner on October 5, 2025. The food was excellent (burgers, pizzas). The price-performance ratio is reasonable. The restaurant is somewhat hidden in the Gülser boat harbor. But it's definitely worth finding the way there. We'd love to come back!

Four of us ate at il Capitano yesterday, and it was a truly amazing experience! All the dishes – from the half-and-half pizza to the salad version to the burger – were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was very friendly and attentive, and we immediately felt at home. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. We'd definitely be back – highly recommended! 😊

I can't comment on the food. The location is very quiet, and the view of the Moselle is great. The staff was friendly. The wheat beer, at €5.50, was a bit too expensive for me.

Highly recommended under the new tenant, Il Capitano. The food is absolutely delicious and not expensive. Very friendly service. The seating is lovely and quiet, overlooking the Rörig boat harbor.

The restaurant is now called Il Capitano. New, very friendly owners and truly delicious food at reasonable prices. We recommend the Gorgonzola schnitzel with salad and fries. The atmosphere in the marina is pleasant. We would have given it more stars and will definitely be back :-)

After renovation and change of ownership, it is now called Il Capitano. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Of course, without much demand, there was a pot full of water for our dog. For me personally, that gives me another extra point. The meal was excellent. We'd love to come back...and then we'll try the burger.

Very friendly staff. Good pizzas. The location is actually very good, but the railing with the thick wooden beams partially blocks the view of the Moselle. Too bad. Maybe the owner can come up with something.

Took our cars that were parked hostage by blocking them in and would only release them after being paid €30 for each car.

Beautiful harbor and good workers in the workshop

We actually expected more for the location; the waitress was friendly, and our order came quickly. The frozen products were okay for the price.

I wanted to sit down at a table at 5:30 p.m. that was reserved from 7 p.m. A lady who was sitting several tables away and who was probably part of the staff told me loudly that this was not possible. It was probably not possible to get up and offer a table because she was smoking.

Staff absolutely unfriendly. When asked questions there is only a rolling of the eyes. No one even asked about ordering food. After asking for a card, the delivery of the cards took longer than average even though there were few guests there. The only positive thing about this restaurant is the water view.

sehr schönes Ambiente .. Das Essen hat uns geschmeckt Getränke z.b Chianti macht Spaß bei dem wunderschönen Panorama Blick auf die gegenüber liegend Felsen und auf die Mosel das Personal der Chef ist Italiener sind sehr freundliche zuvorkomme Menschen bei denen man sich wohl fühlen kann .. der Koch kam mit frichen Kräutern aus dem Gartenbeet .. sehr schön bis zum nächsten mal 🍷

Einer der schönsten Plätze an der Mosel mit direkten Blick auf Fluss und Boote. Immer Hilfe aus der Werkstatt und Erfahrung mit allen Themen rund um das Freizeitboot, Motoren, Umbauten bis hin zu Gewerbewasserfahrzeugen.
