We were invited to breakfast. It was very crowded. Due to the, in my opinion, poorly designed layout of the buffet, there were huge queues because it wasn't clear whether you were waiting for the egg cooker, just cold cuts and cheese, or just some more fruit. Otherwise, it was very nice, the selection was good, and the service was very friendly.

The hotel rooms are definitely showing their age – the bathroom pictures on Google seem to be from the suites ;) Nevertheless, the value for money is very good! The "wellness area" isn't particularly attractive, as it's quite old, but we still enjoyed relaxing on the two loungers in the warmth, and the view from the sauna is fantastic. Breakfast and the lounge downstairs are great, as is the restaurant! We would definitely come back :)

The New Year's Eve party was amazing, as long as the live band was playing. The DJ wasn't quite as good in comparison. All in all, it was a very nice evening. The buffet was great, the staff very friendly, and we would gladly spend another New Year's Eve there.

I stayed at your hotel yesterday to warm up and enjoy some tea. First of all, the lovely view from the room opposite the bar and the interior design are commendable. However, the tea (despite the mention of afternoon teas on the menu) was disappointing. My companion ordered mint tea, and when we inquired, we were told it was fresh mint, which it wasn't. It consisted of dried mint leaves in a pyramid-shaped tea bag, along with a small bag of brown rock sugar. There was no lemon wedge, nor was we asked if we needed anything else. I ordered an Assam tea, which was served in a pyramid-shaped tea bag. The only "accompaniment" was a small bag of brown rock sugar—nothing else. No lemon wedge or cream. We weren't even asked if we needed anything! I find this unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. However, they were charging 4-star prices of €4.50 per tea, despite the VAT reduction from 19% to 7%! 😉

My review of the Diehls Hotel in Koblenz This hotel has an absolutely fantastic location – perfect for me as a Rhine enthusiast and active city traveler. The location is simply unbeatable! 🌊🚂 Staying right on the Rhine is a truly special experience. The view of the water and the constant activity on the river create the unique atmosphere. It couldn't be more convenient: The train station is just a stone's throw away, and you can quickly reach Koblenz's old town or hop on the ferry to the Deutsches Eck (German Corner). Perfect starting point for explorations 🏰⚓ Ehrenbreitstein Fortress is super easy to reach from here. I could set off straight away in the morning and was immersed in history in no time. Also perfect: A walk along the Rhine promenade to the cable car and the Deutsches Eck is a must and right on the doorstep. Functionality and charm 🛏️✨ The hotel has that typical, charming character of a good, traditional establishment. My room was clean, comfortable, and offered everything I needed for my stay. After a long day in the city, it was the perfect retreat. In conclusion, anyone wanting to experience Koblenz and the Rhine will find this the perfect starting point. The combination of a picturesque location and complete independence thanks to excellent transport links is exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommended for an active city break!

A lovely little getaway over New Year's Eve in a pleasant hotel right on the banks of the Rhine, opposite the old town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. We also enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool, which were free to use at any time. There was plenty of free parking available. We would gladly return.

New Year's Eve party once and never again

Prime location right on the Rhine. We were there for New Year's Eve; the four-course meal was excellent, as was the cocktail party with live music. The sauna in the building was also great.

Best value for money! The rooms are a bit dated, but ours was clean and perfectly adequate. The provided earplugs are a good idea; you can probably hear the train throughout the building, but we didn't find it bothersome. The sauna and pool area is nice, but it's there. Completely uninspired. The staff was friendly and attentive, no complaints. The breakfast really surprised us. It gets top marks. A fantastic selection, and compared to the rest of the hotel, it was a cut above. Overall, not bad, and at that price (around €100 for a double room including breakfast), we would definitely come back.

Excellent location on the Rhine side. Swimming pool and sauna available – all dated and somewhat out of touch... extremely noisy due to the street-side location with train traffic and endless freight trains. Ample parking... ideal for seminars and business travelers. Very good breakfast buffet.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The location is nice, by the water and near the fortress. There's no kettle or coffee in the room, and the pillows aren't suitable for sleeping; we had to put a rolled-up jacket under them to get a higher rest. There's no light in the bathroom in my son's room. Breakfast is so-so. A small selection of cold meats and cheeses. Dust and old things are everywhere. We probably won't be back. There's a constant loud noise at night.

A pleasant hotel, located directly on the banks of the Rhine and ideal for hikers on the Rheinsteig trail. The hotel has ample, free parking. The breakfast is extensive and of good quality, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Considerable points include the relatively expensive restaurant and the limited selection of dining options in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are a bit dated. I stayed in a more luxurious single room with a glass bathroom enclosure; functional, but not particularly modern. Unfortunately, there was no kettle, and the promised bottle of mineral water for booking directly was also missing. The wellness facilities are very limited and hardly worth calling a spa: a round pool of about six meters and a small sauna reminiscent of the eighties or nineties. All in all, the hotel offers a fine stay, considering the price. The center of Koblenz is about a thirty-minute walk away and is definitely worth a visit.

We celebrated our wedding here, and we and our guests felt very comfortable. The room perfectly suited our needs, and we received excellent support during the preparations. The service was also superb during the celebration, and we were able to implement everything exactly as we had envisioned. We would celebrate here again in a heartbeat!

Great hotel with a great view, amazing breakfast, friendly staff.

Nice hotel, great view, and well located. The train is audible, but not extremely disruptive. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, prices at the bar are quite high, as is the case almost everywhere these days. The staff is very friendly.

Great location and a fantastic conference hotel

Beautiful hotel, located directly on the Rhine riverbank below the fortress. Fantastic view from the room. Super friendly staff, very comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic. Our only complaint was the shower. Unfortunately, there was only a bathtub, which was difficult to get in and out of if you have mobility issues. The splash guard was too small and leaked terribly. The whole bathroom flooded when I showered, which was unpleasant.

My partner and I spent one night at this hotel and opted for a standard double room due to the attractive price. First, I'd like to emphasize that the staff was friendly and the view from our room somewhat enhanced our stay. We were aware that the furnishings were a bit dated; this was already apparent in the photos. Nevertheless, our room differed significantly from the pictures, especially the bathroom, which was much smaller in reality. I agree with the negative reviews regarding cleanliness. The bathroom, in particular, lacked cleanliness. There was hair in the shower, on the walls, on the floor, and on the sink. I also found hair on my towel and duvet. Therefore, I would not book this hotel again.

I found the hotel to have lovingly and carefully preserved its very traditional architecture. The additional extensions made it feel a bit like a labyrinth, which I found intriguing. From my room, I was able to enjoy the view of the Rhine, which made me very happy.

From the rooms on the third floor facing the Rhine, you can't hear any train traffic. The view of Koblenz is wonderful, especially once the construction sites (bridge, castle) are clear.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The location directly on the Rhine is really beautiful, but the other side, directly on the railway line, is less so. However, I have to say that we hardly heard a train from our room when it passed by. The entire hotel, including the rooms, could use a bit of a facelift. For the price, it's a bit run down. There's a bottle of drinking water in the pool, but it was empty and hadn't been refilled in two days. The restaurant and staff were great; they had to run it with two people, as apparently the other half of the staff were sick. We did have to wait a bit for the food, but the food was very good and the service was very friendly and even up for a joke. All in all, we liked it, but for the price, it could have been a bit more well-kept and modern.

The room was really old, nothing at all to do with the pictures on the website. There's a railway line next door, which made it impossible to sleep through the night. The bed was extremely saggy, and three pillows were so thin they could have used them. My complaint wasn't taken seriously, which is why I left after one night even though I had booked three. They brazenly charged me a cancellation fee. I think the lady's name was Mehlhorn. The hotel was definitely not fully booked, but a room change wasn't possible. Even when booking, they couldn't give me the online price, which was about €20 cheaper, for some reason. The breakfast was okay, but the view of the Rhine was a real eye-catcher. I can't recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

Since we were going to the concert at the fortress, the location of this hotel was fantastic! The ferry, elevator, and gondola were all within easy reach. It has its own underground parking garage and very friendly staff!

The rooms are very old and need to be renovated. I like old furniture. I wasn't bothered by it. The general atmosphere is nice, but you expect good furniture from a hotel with such a location and price. The overall cleanliness is quite good. The staff does their job, but there's no smile. There's parking, so I didn't have any problems. The hotel's location is very good, and the view is great.

The good parts; the location directly on the Rhine River,a short ferry ride across to the city ,breakfasts ,wonderful evening views, lounge bar and dog friendly. The hotel looks fantastic from a picture. However, the staff radiates that they don't care. The rooms are old but clean. The suite has a nice whirlpool, but it is broken. The staff knows this but they don't tell you. Only when you complain. And then they shrug their shoulders and say "I can't do anything about it". That's not how you keep customers. You can't expect this for a hotel in this price range. Too bad.

We stayed here on our recent motorcycle tour of Europe and were truly impressed with our evening meal! Several vegan options, all the food was full of flavour, and I have to say that the cheesecake was genuinely the best cheesecake I have ever eaten in my life, and there’s been a few! The hotel itself is on the banks of the river Rhine and the area is truly stunning. I will definitely return!

One of the better hotels stayed in during our trip. Great warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Rooms were comfortable, with views of the river. The breakfast was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Unlike some other hotels, a full range of high quality fresh food and drinks were provided and prepared by staff who obviously took pride in what they produced. A first rate experience.

We were there for Easter breakfast. I thought it was perfect that there were tickets that covered all expenses in advance. The buffet was very rich and varied. We will definitely come back.

Excellent value for money. Usually I find the Germans too direct and cold, but in addition to the impeccable maintenance of the building and all its rooms, the staff were adorable. I recommend!

We booked your hotel for one night from last Tuesday, January 14th to Wednesday, January 15th. We were only able to book the Josef Görres Suite. That wasn't a problem in itself. Even though it was quite expensive, we wanted a very good room. It's a beautiful suite, but the most important thing in a hotel room or suite is the bed! And I'm sorry to say this, but I believe the bed is also from 1909... I hardly slept. I'd say spend a night there yourself and you'll know exactly what I mean. The next morning I checked out. I made my complaints clear to the receptionist present. All she could say was, “I’ll pass it on.” To which I replied, “You can’t mean that.” I don’t feel like I’m being taken seriously. I had to be content with a frugal smile. I insisted that I thought her attitude was shameless. But she just let me go and made no attempt to understand. And I find that incomprehensible for a hotel like this that basically exudes professionalism.

Goose food terrible. We wanted to spend a romantic evening eating goose at Diehl’s Hotel. Parking was difficult because another guest had positioned himself relatively wide to access the underground car park. We almost turned around because there was no free parking space upstairs. We would have done better! However, the hotel can't do anything about it. We both had the goose menu, which was quite expensive and cost over €40, with breast and leg. My husband had two pieces of drumstick. The meat was tough and dry. In addition, the restaurant was freezing cold and there was a mini fan heater because the heating had failed. It was uncomfortable and uncomfortable. The food not good. When we wanted to pay, they said they only had one EC device and it would take over a quarter of an hour. Since I was already cold anyway, I wanted to shorten it now. It wasn't a nice evening with no delicious food… The price for this level was way too high!

Conference hotel with an incredibly good location - when can you look at the Rhine from your bed? Yes, the rooms are a bit old, but they are still clean and in good shape. Above all, however, is the first-class service!

The balcony needs to be repaired. Lots of loose records. Unfortunately it also smelled very unpleasant. But the beds were huge and comfortable. Shower very good. Breakfast quite okay.

We had a large room with a beautiful view. There is a large selection at breakfast.

We had booked a room for one night. When we entered the room, we were immediately impressed by the fantastic view of the Rhine through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was very spacious. The bed seemed very soft at first, but was super comfortable. The bathroom had enough counter space and a walk-in shower. In the evening we ate in the restaurant. The selection is very limited, but it really is something special. I can highly recommend the red cabbage soup 😊 The breakfast was also very good. With scrambled eggs, various types of bread, fresh fruit and vegetables... Regardless of whether at the reception, in the restaurant, at the breakfast buffet or the room cleaning, ALL employees were very friendly and helpful. Because we liked it so much, we extended it by one night and will spend a few days here again next year. On the subject of noise... Of course we heard the trains too, but it wasn't particularly annoying. There were no trains that often and the noises quickly disappeared. For people who are more sensitive to noise, earplugs are available in the bathroom.

First visit here. Room and location ok. Disappointing visit to the bar. At 12:15 a.m. only beer/wine selection... Dishwasher is running, coffee machine is being loudly cleaned, staff disappears without comment. Empty glasses and puddles on the counter. For a second beer you have to look for staff at the reception…. Reason for the poor service: the colleague had already clocked out...... we had a lot of guests beforehand...... and I wanted my colleague to be able to finish work sooner... sorry, but for €128 per night... that's not possible

Exceptional breakfast experience at DIEHLs Hotel We at Veranstaltungstechnik Schmitz had the pleasure of visiting the DIEHLs Hotel in Koblenz am Rhein for our entrepreneurs' breakfast, and it was an excellent experience in every respect. The breakfast was exceptionally good - a wonderful selection of freshly prepared dishes that impressed both in terms of taste and appearance. The quality and variety of the dishes on offer left nothing to be desired and impressed us. We would particularly like to highlight the friendly and attentive staff, who always made sure that we didn't lack anything. Your warm manner and excellent service made a significant contribution to making us feel completely at home. The prices are also very fair and reasonable, especially considering the high quality and first-class service. We can recommend DIEHLs Hotel to anyone who is looking for an excellent breakfast experience in Koblenz. Many thanks to the entire team for the wonderful hospitality!

Totally outdated, but the service and food are good

We had a family celebration. The service was very good.

I stayed at Diehls for 3 days, but only one night, as part of a conference. I had to commute for two more days. The location is perfect and beautifully situated on the Rhine. Koblenz can also be easily reached on foot (approx. 2 km to the center). The rooms are ok. I had a superior single room. Very large, on the third floor. This seemed to have already been renovated. However, there is still potential for improvement here. The washbasin in the glass bathroom was very swollen on the side of the shower and the shower drain was quite dirty. Unfortunately the mattress was very sagging. I was “lucky” with the train service in this room. Further information on this below! The food, whether breakfast or lunch, was outstanding, but expensive. Generally the service was really good, with one exception. An employee named Sebastian made comments that were simply presumptuous and cheeky in a hotel like this! Example: a colleague was asked after dinner if everything was okay. She said yes because of the taste, but she criticized the size of the portion (justifiably so. Other colleagues with the same dish had much larger portions). The following day, Sebastian brought us lunch again at noon and asked my colleague in an inappropriate tone if she had had enough of the food. Another colleague ordered a Coke with his meal, Sebastian groaned loudly and left the dining room, before pulling out his smartphone. Unfortunately, the cola we ordered never arrived. But Sebastian was standing at the counter with his smartphone. In general, the effort to provide drinks with every lunch was more on the part of the guests than the service. In total we had 4 bottles of water for 13 people. We were never asked about any other drinks. We had to ask several times for new water bottles. One day a lunch that had been specially ordered in advance was forgotten. When Sebastian asked, he hit his head, cursing loudly, and complained about this “chaos.” To another question about a dish as to how spicy it was, since it was labeled as such, Sebastian replied that he was not the cook and that it also depended on the cook on the day. There were also many little things that unfortunately spoiled the overall impression. I work in the catering industry myself and know that something like that simply doesn't work in this context. The hotel maintains a high level of standard, but this is simply not guaranteed due to things like this. Basically, I think Sebastian has great potential. He should simply be given some help in dealing with guests. The hotel needs a general overhaul in many places, especially in the “wellness area”. The elevator in this part of the building was very dirty. Since it is lined with carpet, it is covered in stains. The old, historical furniture is beautiful. The carpet installed is a matter of taste. It seems very worn out in some places. The “Rheinblick” training room is absolutely outdated and in urgent need of renovation. The railway line directly at the hotel was often disruptive and, depending on the traffic situation, even the walls wobbled. The seating for longer training courses is absolutely uncomfortable and partly broken and very dirty (upholstery). Many of my colleagues were unable to sleep at night because of the railway line right next to them. Because the trains also run at night. Unfortunately, the oropax that can be found in every room doesn't help either. The rooms really vibrate. Overall, a nice hotel with incredible potential, although a lot of work still needs to be put into it.

Hotel recommended - restaurant not so much We arrived by car and got a free parking space in the hotel parking lot. The reception at the reception was very friendly. The room met our expectations - apart from a few clouds of dust and a renovation delay on the carpet. The breakfast buffet was very rich. We liked the location right on the Rhine and we didn't hear anything about the railway line behind it. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very quiet. We had booked a table in the restaurant on the day of arrival. For a high-priced restaurant you might expect perfect service. The service staff seemed slightly overwhelmed even though the restaurant was not overly full. The drinks and appetizer came in a reasonable time frame. The slightly longer wait for the main course wasn't a problem either. For the main course we sat in front of empty glasses but a service person couldn't be reached and we weren't noticed until it was cleared away. When we commented that we would have liked something to drink with the main course, we received the short answer "I'm sorry" and we were then completely ignored. Dessert was no longer offered either. We had the bill booked into our room and only received a disdainful look. Service is different.

Wonderful place, landscape and weather

For 8 year old grandson "Children's schnitzel with fries"... ordered. Only saw the price on the bill... €17.90... too expensive!

Very disappointed. I was shocked when I saw that the hotel is located next to a railway track. I was promised a double room with a bath. Upon arrival I could not check in: I was too early and decided to go to the center, because unfortunately you could not have lunch in the hotel. I had seen on the internet that there was a pound leaving in front of the door, but it was closed. Since there was also work on the bridge and I had to take a detour, I only arrived at a restaurant for lunch an hour later. When I got back to the hotel after 5 hours, it turned out that I didn't get the room I was promised. Left angry and took another hotel in the center. Much cheaper and much nicer room.

Very clean hotel with very friendly staff. The room we had was very spacious and clean. The staff was always friendly and quick but never intrusive. The food was very tasty, but you won't find any fries on the memory card. But that's also normal for the stars. Small but nice card.

A beautiful hotel, we will be back

The hotel is located directly on the Rhine and you have a great view of the city. We had a great room. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to reach by car and there was enough parking space. If you want to criticize something, it might be that it took a little longer for warm or hot water to come out of the shower or the taps. But that's probably complaining at a high level. In any case, we really liked it and would stay here again at any time.

We were in Koblenz on business and had a lovely stay at the Diehls Hotel Koblenz. The view, the breakfast and the room were excellent. The price-performance ratio is right. The service was good and the employees were all friendly and accommodating.

The next porter waited until 1:30 a.m. and at that time he changed rooms because the bed was closed: great! Good breakfast and great view.

The hotel offers a pleasant view of the Rhine and Koblenz, albeit a bit distant from the city centre. The rooms are a bit old and the bathrooms are outdated. Upon arrival we encountered room key and room number issues causing delay and there was some construction work being done in the hotel, but the reception staff were friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant/bar had younger, less knowledgeable staff regarding local wines. After 22:00, when the reception staff and older staff members of the restaurant left, the young staff members started playing loud hip-hop music played, disrupting the serene atmosphere by the Rhine.

My business stay at the DIEHLs Hotel in Koblenz was entirely positive. The rooms were large, clean and a bit older, but that didn't bother me. The rich breakfast prepared you optimally for the day and the location directly on the Rhine ensured relaxing moments. The availability of parking spaces directly in front of the hotel and in the underground car park was particularly convenient. In short: The DIEHLs Hotel is an excellent choice for business travelers who value comfort and location.

Das einzigste gute an diesem hotel war das Zimmer ( Badezimmer eine reine bakterielle Katastrophe).und das Frühstück . Bei ankunft sagte man uns das wir 30 minuten zufrüh sind da das zimmer noch gereinigt muss werden. Hatten vorort das zimmer auf eine höhere Kategorie umgebucht. Ging reibungslos. Konnte leider davon nichts erkennen da überall staub lag. Beim Wassereinlassen und düsen einschalten in der badewanne war der Gestank ekelerregen und die brühe nicht schön anzusehen. Nach erneutem wassereinlass ging es dann. Heizung im zimmer und bad eine nullnummer. Frostbeulen im preis inbegriffen.Der pool war dann aber der oberhit da hat dich der grünspan schon angesrungen. Die sauner war um 17 Uhr immernoch aus. Wir übernachten meist beruflich ( journalistische Tätigkeit) in sehr vielen hotels aber sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt. Personal weitestgehend nett . Wir hatten uns so auf eine kleine Auszeit gefreut aber daraus wurde nichts. Sehr schade.Mann sollte auch mehr erwähnen in der Beschreibung des hotels das alle 20 Minuten direkt am hotel der Zug vorbei fliegt.

Leider können wir für dieses Hotel maximal 3 Sterne vergeben. Die Zimmer wirkten sehr in die Jahre gekommen, allerdings wird auch im Haus renoviert. Leider hatte dies somit auch eine starke Auswirkung auf das Hotelerlebnis, denn man musste sich nicht nur durch auf dem Boden ausgelegte Plastikfolie kämpfen, sondern wurde auch durch laute Baugeräusche geplagt. Auch in der ganzen Nacht war ein lautes Brummen zu vernehmen, welches von einem Stockwerk über unserem Zimmer zu kommen schien. Somit war eine wirkliche Nachtruhe nicht gegeben. Der Service im Restaurant wirkte eher grimmig und lies lange auf sich warten. Nachdem wir einen Flammkuchen bestellt hatten, wurde mir erst knapp 20 Minuten nach der Bestellung mitgeteilt, dass dieser nicht verfügbar sei. Daraufhin wechselte ich das Gericht und bestellte Quesadillas. Ich hatte schon nicht viel erwartet, wurde leider trotzdem enttäuscht. Der Salat mit Hähnchen hingegen schmeckte sehr gut, dazu wurden 2 sehr kleine und komplett vertrocknete Baguettescheiben serviert. Die Coktails und Weine waren empfehlenswert. Für eine Nacht sicherlich in Ordnung; weiterzuempfehlen ist das Hotel allerdings nicht unbedingt.

Spontan hatten wir ein Zimmer über Check24 gebucht um etwas dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Angekommen im Hotel war der Checkin sehr angenehm, als wir zum Zimmer gekommen sind, waren wir einfach nur geschockt. Wir hatten uns natürlich vorher die Zimmer auf der Seite des Hotels angeschaut und das was wir bekommen haben, war absolut furchtbar. Ein Zimmer aus den 80er Jahren, es hat so sehr gestunken im Zimmer, das Bad war grauenvoll und der Teppich hatte überall Brandlöcher. So wie es gerochen hat, war es ein Raucher-Zimmer. So ein Zimmer hatten wir nie auf der Seite gesehen und waren einfach nur geschockt. Nach paar Minuten überlegen was wir tun sollen, sind wir nochmal zur Rezeption gegangen und haben dann zum Glück kostenlos ein Upgrade bekommen. Das neue Zimmer war dann soweit in Ordnung. Auf Sauberkeit darf man nicht schauen, die Toiletten sind nicht richtig geputzt, Urinstein ist schon sichtbar. Das Sofa im Zimmer ist voll mit Flecken gewesen. Für eine Nacht war es ok, hatten ja nur darin geschlafen, sonst waren wir nur unterwegs. Das Frühstück war für die Hotelgäste ganz in Ordnung. Um ein Omelett oder Spiegelei zubekommen musste man sehr lange anstehen. Die junge Frau war total überfordert. Der ältere Herr, der aus der Kuche paar mal rauskam hat sehr unangenehm mit den jungen Mitarbeitern gesprochen. War auch für uns alle als Gäste wirklich unangenehm.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel zu Gast. Leider hatten wir beide Male Probleme mit dem Zimmer. Dieses Mal ließ sich das Zimmer nicht vollständig abdunkeln. Obwohl wir uns zunächst über ein Zimmer-Upgrade freuten, befand sich das Zimmer in einem älteren Zustand und entsprach nicht unserer ursprünglich gebuchten Kategorie. Im Vergleich zu unserem ersten Aufenthalt fiel dies auf. Positiv war der zuvorkommende Service beim Frühstück!

Gute Lage, Personal aufmerksam, Frühstück +, im Restaurant war es am Abend leider sehr kalt

Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet und die Zimmer für die Übernachtung waren ebenfalls sehr Modern und gut. Der Tagungsraum Rheinblick hingegen ist Ambiente technisch jedoch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und benötigt dringend neues Mobiliar. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig in einem gemütlichen Esszimmer. Für Gäste mit leichtem Schlaf sind die angrenzenden Bahngleise jedoch nicht ideal.

Wir sind das 2 Jahr dabei. Nette, freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen.

Eten in hotel Diehls is middelmatig. In ieder geval niet bijzonder. Er zat weinig smaak aan de schnitzel en de cordon blue. Had van alles kunnen zijn. Bediening is zoals het eten. Ook middelmatig. Ze zijn ‘aardig omdat t moet’ Het uitzicht is super. Dat dan weer wel.

Helaas geen waterkoker oid op de kamer. Verder prima, vriendekijk personeel

Nette Bedienung aber zum Teil recht unterbesetzt

Die Teatime am Sonntagnachmittag ist immer ein Vergnügen.

Waren zur sogenannten Tea-Time dort. Sehr enttäuschend. Trotz Vorreservierung nichts eingedeckt, keinerlei kleine Adventsdeko. Tisch nicht sauber. Mussten erst mal längere Zeit nach dem Service suchen. Angebot akzeptabel auf Etageren.

Schöne Lage. Störend ist die Bahn, die gefühlt durch das Hotel fährt. Sonst gut.

Hotel is in a very good location and has a very good view of the river. Service is average, breakfast is 5/10. Rooms are very old and bathrooms need serious renovation. It does not feel very clean as well. Staff was very polite and helpful. There is a very close by railway and boats/barges make some noise. You will see ear plugs in the bathroom, so you know the reason 😅

Sehr gutes, schön gelegenes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Mobiliar teilweise etwas altmodisch, ändert aber nicht an der Qualität des Service. Hoteleigener Parkplatz für Übernachtungsgäste vorhanden

Schöne Lage, aber das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer altmodisch und klein. Bad/Dusche alt, viel zu eng. Preisleistungsverhaeltnis passt gar nicht. Sehr schade.

Das Hotel ist recht schön, das Personal sehr nett. Frühstück reichhaltig. Nachtruhe so gut wie nicht möglich da durch die Lage unmittelbar neben der Zugstrecke alle 20 Minuten ein Zug durchs Zimmer gefahren ist, Daher im neueren Gebäude weit oben buchen!!

Das Hotel wirkt vielleicht auf dem ersten Blick etwas aus der Zeit gefallen. Für meinen Kurzaufenthalt war aber alles stimmig. Toller Blick auf Rhein und Koblenz. Kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Bar abends hat ein schönes rustikales Ambiente und bietet eine große Auswahl bei vernünftigen Preisen. Etwas muffiger Geruch in Hotel und teilweise auch Zimmer.

Nahezu alles perfekt. Wenn da nur nicht die absolut unpassende Musik im Restaurant und Frühstücksraum wäre. Schade, aber das schöne Ambiente wird dadurch leider in den Hintergrund geschickt. Dezente Pianomusik wäre schön, im Zweifelsfall wäre weniger mehr. Trotzdem werden wir wiederkommen und auf Besserung hoffen.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag zum frühstücken (wir waren keine Gäste im Hotel) dort. Die Kollegen vor Ort sind allesamt sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Buffet ist umfangreich und für jeden was dabei. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und auch die Einrichtung eher bieder, der Ausblick ist besonders an den Fensterplätzen jedoch sehr schön. Mit 19€ ist der Preis für das Frühstück schon eher höher, allerdings ist dort Kaffee auch schon mit drin.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte hier und hatten das Koblenz Arrangement dazu gebucht. Inkl. Halbpension, Ringticket und 1 Schifffahrt für 1 Stunde. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Eisenbahnlinie und einer Straße. Aber im Zimmer bekommt man davon nichts mit. Man hat dafür einen schönen Ausblick auf den Rhein und Koblenz. Ca. 150 Meter vom Hotel fährt eine Personenfähre rüber nach Koblenz. Das ist sehr praktisch. Leider fiel an 1 Tag die Fähre krankheitsbedingt aus und so mussten wir eine knappe Stunde zu Fuß über die nächste Brücke nach Koblenz laufen. Das war nicht sehr schön. (Da kann das Hotel aber nichts für) Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, auch das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles, was man zum reichhaltigen Frühstück braucht. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich. Preis/ Leistung passt auch.
