I've rarely had such bad coffee – a "cappuccino with oat milk" was served to me after a wait of over 30 minutes, and it tasted neither like coffee nor anything else enjoyable. Added to that was the extremely unfriendly service, which made it seem as if every customer was a burden. Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended.

My husband and I really enjoy eating at Dean and David. But our experience in Koblenz wasn't good. The regular rice was completely soggy, and the whole-grain rice was almost raw. The meat was extremely burnt and black. The bowls were also missing ingredients. Dean and David, you can do much better. Just like the one in Montabaur. We'll only go there from now on. The Koblenz location is not recommended.

Ordered this for the second time in a row. The rice was hard and undercooked, and the lettuce leaves were moldy. Even a 2-for-1 offer doesn't help. Better to focus on quality and proper preparation, too bad.

I'm standing in front of the store today, Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 1:10 PM, and it's closed! It's a shame, according to the information here, it should be open. The sign says it's now open on Sundays, too. I'm a little disappointed and will have to find somewhere else. Best regards

Delicious food and enough choice so that everyone will find something they like!

A measly portion for the price... but that's okay, although the food tasted only mediocre. And the service was totally unfriendly. The man at the cash register didn't speak to me at all and went to the back after I'd placed my order. Then a woman came and asked me again if I had ordered and then prepared my order. The man who took my order didn't bother with it any further and didn't tell anyone to prepare it. After I took my food and wished them a nice day, nothing came back. The woman was just busy flirting with her colleague.

I've eaten at Dean and David's exactly twice. The first time, I ordered a mix-your-own bowl and, among other things, added avocado for an extra €2. They forgot to put it in the bowl. When I complained, all I was told was that I had to check that everything was there when I picked up the bowl. The second time, I ate the mix-your-own bowl on the spot and got extremely bad diarrhea afterward. Not recommended. The hygiene conditions don't seem to be up to scratch.

We ordered a salad. The salad itself was okay, but the accompanying meat was cold and tough, making it inedible. After we informed the employee, he simply replied that the meat was probably cold because it had been sitting at the counter for a long time while he was preparing the other meals. Unfortunately, he offered neither a proper explanation nor an apology. We also had two bowls, which were okay. Unfortunately, the portions were not appropriate for the price; they were too small. We sat outside, the tables were dirty, and after asking for them to clean them, nothing was done. We had to wait longer for the food than at other Dean & David branches.

A handful of leaf salad for the base price of €5.75 is extortionate. I'd never been there before and thought I was getting a basic salad, meaning leaves with cucumber and tomato. A tablespoon of side salad then costs €0.95. This is a rip-off. The employee was very friendly and accommodating about my outrage. He didn't set the prices. I pre-ordered the salad for pickup. When I arrived, it wasn't ready. It's only three spoonfuls of side salad and a handful of lettuce leaves. First and last visit.

I ordered from Dean and David at 7:15 p.m. and received a call from the restaurant at 7:59 p.m. saying my order had to be canceled because they were running out of ingredients. I've already paid via PayPal and haven't received any food. I'm now waiting for a response from Lieferando about what will happen to my money since I can't request a cancellation myself. This situation is a disgrace.

Won't go back. I once bought a salad bowl. The employee was very unfriendly. I felt like I was begging him for food. Instead of telling me where my salad was, he pointed the finger at me. The salad was freshly prepared but the quinoa and rice were so hard that I threw half of it away. This price + service attitude + food quality = never again.

The food was okay, but the flatbread was still a bit cold (despite being grilled) There were 4 employees at Theresen who were talking loudly and vulgarly about private conversations, so you couldn't have breakfast in peace

The food was truly top-quality – the ingredients were fresh and delicious! Unfortunately, even though I wanted to eat in, my order was packed for takeout. This was a minor drawback, but the friendly staff made up for it. The selection of dishes is extensive, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a great alternative in Koblenz. Overall, highly recommended!

Very disappointed, actually enjoyed being there

If you order a bowl and want more meat, for example, a bowl with Japanese beef, the additional portion of beef costs €2.50. Now it gets interesting: If you opt for more chicken instead, it suddenly costs €3.45. Even more confusing: If you want extra chicken in a chicken bowl, you only pay €2.00 more! What's the point of this? It makes absolutely no sense and seems like a complete rip-off! Super friendly service! Respect to the young man! I think it's Samuel or something!

Very tasty, freshly prepared and very friendly staff. Food that makes you happy, especially at this time of year. A really good alternative to the many kebabs and snack bars in the city. Easy to recommend, also because of the good selection.

Absolutely shocked by the shift management. The four of us wanted to order food on site at 7 p.m. on Friday (October 25, 2024), when the lady unkindly informed us that there was nothing left. I then said that it was only 7 p.m. and they would still be open for another hour. A nice colleague came over and said of course that they could offer us something to eat. I wanted a curry, my girlfriend wanted a wrap. The lady (who mentioned several times that she was the shift manager) replied bluntly that there was no more curry and that the oven had already been cleaned, so no more wraps would be made and she wouldn't dirty anything here. Only salads and bowls. Understood. I ordered a bowl from the nice gentleman. The lady then shouted again that there was no more edamame. No problem, I would like avocado instead of the edamame. The nice colleague said yes because they couldn't offer us the curry or the wraps. The shift manager then became completely loud and shouted at the colleague in front of EVERYONE about what he could think of to offer me the avocado; this should be charged at the full price. The avocado would be more expensive than the edamame and whatever occurred to him said yes. She would be the shift manager and he has to do what she says, no ifs and buts. The really nice young man apologized to us for the inconvenience. When we received our food (by the way, one dish was wrong, but it was ok, we didn't feel like having a further discussion) the shift manager called the nice colleague to the back and shouted at him at such a loud volume that the whole shop could hear everything. Dean & David should really think about who will be assigned as shift manager here. At 7 p.m. she didn't want to serve us and said there was nothing left. I run a business myself, my colleagues and I wouldn't dream of sending customers away an hour before closing time because there was supposedly nothing left, which obviously wasn't the case. It's not possible to clean the oven a whole hour beforehand, sorry. If we had 20, everything would be ok. But you've already finished cleaning in an hour? There are only 2 stars because the young man was so nice and really customer-oriented.

After the order didn't arrive at all a few weeks ago (but we got the money back), we tried it a second time. The food tasted good, but unfortunately none of us were full. The bowls are too expensive for a snack.

Ordered on Lieferando and waited until today for the food. There is no response to calls and emails.

You sit comfortably outside, the cappuccino was very tasty. We didn't eat but will definitely come back.

Fancied something healthy, so partner and I both went for a curry. The quality of the food is excellent and portions very filling! Good amount of veg and beans along with the rice and main. We also stayed for coffee, which was lovely! Felt it was reasonably priced. If we were staying longer we would certainly have come back

The food was ok, pretty dry, the falafel too...quite loud locally, the staff friendly. Portions are rather puny for the fairly high price. We don't have to have it again.

Once and never again! First the desired dish (Teriyaki) was not available and then the selected dish was almost inedible. The salsa sauce didn't taste like anything and the avocado was overripe and even rotten in some places! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. Oh yes, no tables were cleared outside either. When we arrived the tables were full of used dishes and when we were finished they were still there. We would have been better off spending the 35€ for 2 people somewhere else.

I love it. Mega salads, bowls and curries. My current favorite is the mango coconut curry. 🤤 And an extra point for the team. There is always a good atmosphere in the store.

Wanted to have teriyaki wrap on the menu I only got the warmed up wrap which tasted like cardboard and mud. For €8 I can get a baba kebab with a drink

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Dean and Davids and it was a thoroughly positive experience. The food was fresh and every dish was a real pleasure. It's rare to find a place that puts so much emphasis on the quality of ingredients. I was really happy to be able to eat here. Absolutely recommended for anyone who appreciates fresh and tasty meals.

First and last time ordered there. The bowl wasn't special in any way (the sauce was supposed to give it some flavor), but the highlight came with the wrap, which I wanted to eat the next day: not a Caesar wrap, but a grape-olive-goat cheese-walnut mixture. I couldn't get it down even with the best of intentions. I'll never do that to myself again.

The first time in Koblenz and never again. The rice was cold. The taste of the bowl was overwhelming with way too much dressing and sauce. It was far too cold in the restaurant and when we showed the staff the soggy salad we only got a shrug of the shoulders. Not recommended.

I can't recommend it! Ordered salad with avocado and halloumi. Just got stinky goat cheese with rotten avocado. 9 out of 10 orders go wrong!

The last time!!! For the third time in a very short space of time, I received a completely wrong order and the avocado was completely brown and rotten. Although I specifically specified that I would receive a fresh avocado. My friends have the same problem. I pay almost 2 euros for a tiny piece of avocado. Almost four euros of halloumi cheese and I get the wrong cheese again. Of course, no one responds to calls again. Please attach two photos. ABSOLUTE RUDE!!! And you as a customer have completely lost!

It's nice that employees here prepare and serve food with one arm and it's so multifunctional that you can make phone calls while serving

The food was good but a bit overpriced. The store was untidy and didn't look clean. There was something lying around everywhere that didn't belong there. The door to the women's toilet could not be locked (sliding door). The staff wore a loose hoodie with the hood pulled over their faces - somehow inappropriate.

Perfect quit place to take an hot drink or eat a piece of cake. Very high choice of veggie and vegetarian snacks and drinks. Very nice.

Traumhaft wunderschönen Abend verbracht

Essen top und gute Auswahl. Die Tische könnten nur öfter mal sauber gemacht werden.

Leider das 2. Mal enttäuscht worden. Beim ersten Mal vor Monaten kam meine Bestellung zu spät und komplett falsch. Sie war vertauscht worden, kann passieren. Da ich die falsche Bestellung behalten durfte, und der Service am Telefon zuvorkommend war, war das ok für mich. Dieses Mal wollte ich dem ganzen nochmal eine Chance geben. Statt angegebenen 45-70 Minuten habe ich über 2 Std. auf die Lieferung gewartet. Ich rief an, die Dame am Telefon war sehr nett und kümmerte sich umgehend. Laut ihr sollte Fahrer längst da gewesen sein. Kurz darauf meldete der sich, sagt aber einfach zu sagen "Tut mir leid, es ist viel los", o.ä. wurde als Grund für die Verspätung genannt, dass bei meiner angegebenen Nummer vorne die "0" fehlte. Geht auf meine Kappe, aber 1. hat er das ja schnell rausgefunden und hätte mich so doch anrufen können, 2. hat das nichts damit zu tun, dass die Lieferung viel zu spät und kalt ankam. Er war zwar freundlich, wies mich aber an der Tür umgehend nochmal auf meinen Fehler hin. Ich hätte mir an der Stelle mehr Kundenfreundlichkeit gewünscht, schließlich hätte auch die vollständige, scheinbar leicht erschließbare Nummer, nichts an der viel zu späteren Lieferung geändert. Man hätte mich dann halt höchstens darüber informiert, dass es (wieso auch immer) deutlich länger dauert. Damit kann ich an sich auch leben, aber dann erwarte ich dementsprechend eine Kundenorientierung und eine Entschuldigung, keine wiederholte Schuldsuche beim Kunden. Das Essen war am Ende okay, mehr aber auch nicht. Für den Preis habe ich wirklich mehr erwartet. Die Dame am Telefon, und, dass der Lieferant dennoch freundlich war, hat zumindest etwas rausgeholt. Bestellen werde ich hier leider trotzdem nicht mehr.

Ich bestelle regelmäßig bei Dean&David, und das seit über einem Jahr. Trotz der eher hohen Preise schätze ich die frischen und leckeren Salate und Bowls. Sogar zu Beginn des Jahres, als ich mir den Fuß gebrochen hatte, habe ich fast täglich bei ihnen bestellt. Die Mitarbeiter sind zudem sehr freundlich. Doch in den letzten zwei Monaten hat sich meine Zufriedenheit deutlich verringert. Einmal, als ich meine Bestellung aufgegeben hatte und um 11 Uhr zur Abholung da war (wie in der App angegeben), hieß es plötzlich: "Wir haben geschlossen. Das haben wir Ihnen doch am Telefon erklärt." Ich erklärte, dass ich keinen Anruf erhalten hatte, woraufhin die Mitarbeiterin zu ihrer Kollegin ging (die ebenfalls bestätigte, mich nicht angerufen zu haben), und zwischen ihnen entwickelte sich eine sehr laute Diskussion, was für mich äußerst unangenehm war. Ein weiteres Mal ging ich wieder hin. Hinter der Theke saß eine Mitarbeiterin. Ich schaute mich um, entschied mich für meine Bestellung und wartete, bis eine Mitarbeiterin kam. Als die Mitarbeiterin zu mir kam sagte ich ihr, was ich gerne haben wollte und erhielt die Antwort: "Sie wissen schon, dass wir geschlossen haben." Natürlich hatte ich es erkannt, dank der offenen Tür, der Mitarbeiter und des Essens die vorne schon lagen.🙄 Beim letzten Lieferservice wurde zweimal etwas vergessen: zuerst die Soße und dann das Brot. Ich habe mich bei beiden Vorfällen nicht beschwert, da ich dachte, dass sie überlastet waren und Fehler passieren können. Heute wurde wieder einmal das Brot vergessen, und als ich darauf hinwies, dass ich zumindest eine Entschädigung dafür haben wollte, hieß es: "Sie erhalten das Brot sowieso kostenlos zum Salat, da können wir nichts rückerstatten." Da ist meine Geduld endgültig erschöpft. 15 € für einen Salat und nicht einmal zwei Scheiben Brot sind für mich einfach nicht akzeptabel. Das war das letzte Mal, dass ich bei Dean&David bestellt habe, was schade ist, da es bisher mein Lieblingsrestaurant war.

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir waren zu dritt dort essen. Was uns nicht gefallen hatte war ,es gab keine Curry Gerichte, zum Menü sollte eine Flasche Getränk 2 € kosten, wurde aber der normale Preis gebongt. Erst auf Nachfragen kam die Antwort, ach das passiert mir immer und dann erst umgebucht. Ich hatte den Chicken Salat bestellt, dazu gehört Brot. Bekam ich ohne Brot. Erst auf Nachfrage kam die Antwort, es ist kein Brot da. Alternative gibt es auch nicht. Dann gab es nicht die Soße bei der Bowl meiner Tochter. Da wurde sie gefragt ob sie eine andere drauf machen können. Meine Tochter antwortete, ja kein Problem nur ohne Laktose. Nachher in der Karte stand das wohl Laktose enthalten ist. Am Nachbartisch hat eine Frau einen Salat bestellt ohne Tomaten, wegen Allergie. Was hat sie serviert bekommen, richtig, Salat mit Tomaten. Den musste sie wieder zurückgeben. Vom Service her ist mir so was noch nie passiert. Es kann mal was vorkommen. Aber das war echt merkwürdig, dass Fehler sich so häufen.

Super Leckeres und Frisches Essen! Viel Auswahl und gerechtfertigtes Preisleistungsverhältnis wenn man den Genuss im Mund schmeckt! Super liebes Team &‘ für Allergene auch sehr viele Möglichkeiten! Jeder findet hier ein super leckeres Essen wovon man satt wird ! Danke liebes Dean & David Team ❤️

Nun ob es am Verkaufsoffenen Sonntag lag. Angebot laut Karte gut....wenn Zutaten vorhanden . Alles andere geht noch so eben .

Personal sehr nett und freundlich, Essen sehr lecker (Avocado- Salat). Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre etwas weniger Dressing am Salat zu verwenden und eine proaktive Ansprache ggü. dem Kunden. Sonst alles prima.

Guter Platz um in der Innenstadt von Koblenz eine Bowl zu essen.

Komme sehr gerne in meiner Pause was zu essen holen. Ich bin selbst Verkäuferin und habe somit Verständnis wenn man grad zutun hat und Kunden etwas warten müssen. Wofür ich aber kein Verständnis habe ist die Tatsache, dass ich 4 mal bisher einfach gehen musste, weil ich vorne stand und über 5 Minuten nichtmal beachtet wurde. Kein Hallo, kein "einen Moment bitte" kein garnichts. Man wird mehrmals angeguckt und nicht begrüßt. Heute erneut wieder. Und somit das letzte mal dass ich in meiner Pause komme.

Wir wurden schnell und nett an der Theke bedient. Man könnte aber eine weitere Servicekraft einstellen, die beiden Mädels, die da waren, wirkten mitunter etwas überfordert (obwohl nicht allzu viel los war). Wir hatten beide ein Sandwich zum Mitnehmen. Geschmacklich sehr stimmig. Leider scheint der Grill kaputt zu sein, ohne dass die Mitarbeiter das gemerkt haben?! Bei uns war nur das Brot lauwarm und leicht kross, der Rest noch kühlschrankkalt. Meine Frau kennt das von anderen Dean & David (Berlin) ganz anders, da ist alles richtig heiß! Auch wurden die Sandwiches nicht ganz optimal eingepackt. Eigentlich kann man die von oben aus der Tüte heraus gut essen (wenn man richtig einpackt). Aber hier war es so, als wenn Mutti einem das Butterbrot eingewickelt hatte.

Immer lecker. Noch nie enttäuscht worden, hatten Salat und Bowl gegessen und zum Schluss noch für die Lieben daheim was mitgenommen :-) dank eigener mitgebrachter Mehrwegbox auch immer umweltfreundlich Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Essen war perfect- eine gute und healthy variation. Des weiteren war es sehr schnell fertig! So muss man nicht lange warten beim großen Hunger :p

Leckeres Essen und auch super freundlich Personal

Lust auf Salat??? Die Salatschüssel mit Lachs, das war meine Wahl. Wird alles frisch zubereitet und schmeckt außergewöhnlich gut. Alle Zutaten, haben für mich, perfekt zusammengepasst. Schön angerichtet und zwei Scheiben Brot dabei. Zum Glück haben wir in Köln auch ein dean & David. Das muss ich allerdings noch ausprobieren. Das in Koblenz ist eine ganz klare Empfehlung.

Der bestellte Salat war nicht schlecht, aber die Kartoffeln darauf waren miserabel. Ungeschaelt mit zäher Pelle. Giftiges Solanin ist scheinbar in, hat aber auf einem gesunden Salat nichts zu suchen!
