Château d’Orsay is one of the best culinary experiences I have had in Germany. It’s run by Herr Buttinghaus with their own home recipes of Mediterranean cuisine. He’s a man of culture, you feel transported into a different era and place when you enter this boutique restaurant. Amazing paella, fish and shrimp you are informed about each dish, where it comes from and what wine to pair with it. If you’re very lucky you’ll experience him playing his compositions on the piano, he’s a man of many talents.
I can understand that the gastronomy in Nideggen is afraid of the competition, BUT: It's up to you to generate a good and sophisticated service. What the young people (in training) offer there is first class. OK, they too Prices are quite high, but sophisticated gastronomy also costs money. Allow advertising, the people there deserve it.
Regardless of whether it's 🍳 or 🍺, always good and tasty.
Update:
Too bad. Slada is permanently closed
Update:
There is a new restaurant with the same operator and name in Leichlingen Brückerfeld
I was surprised by the beautiful ambience. More about the outstanding food. I had tagliatelle with sun-dried tomatoes, rocket in wild garlic pesto. Simply delicious! And the “starter” was perfect too! This was grilled leeks wrapped in miso seaweed leaves with pickled radishes.
No card payments in 2024!! It just doesn't work at all. In times of Corona, cash has supposedly almost wiped us all out and now nobody knows card payments anymore. You hike to the hut and can't even buy something to drink.
We had food delivered for 70 people from the Gasthof Schöne Aussicht, our guests were thrilled with the taste and selection. We would like to say a big thank you to the team around boss Wilma and can only recommend it
We've eaten there several times now and our conclusion: a very cozy German restaurant with very good food 😊👍🏻
(see photos).
Just good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We would love to come back 👍🏻😊
