The Emshaus is always our first choice when we want to eat comfortably and really tasty. The atmosphere is great – modern, but still totally cozy. You just feel comfortable as soon as you come in. The food is a highlight every time! No matter whether it's steak, fish or the changing daily specials - it always tastes fantastic. The ingredients are fresh and you can tell that they cook here with a lot of love. What makes the whole thing perfect is the great service. The team is super friendly, attentive and always available for a little chat. As a regular guest you almost feel like you're staying with friends.

Were there for the Christmas party with around 170 people. First class service, really good and rich buffet. Really highly recommended!

Quaint restaurant in the heart of Wiedenbrück in a historic half-timbered house. Old and modern combined. The title of the restaurant “Fuchshöhle” runs like a red thread through the decor and images. Small, clear menu with delicious and special dishes. Price-performance ratio fits. All in all, a surprisingly successful evening, as we stopped there spontaneously. We'll be back!

Very friendly and nice staff and the kitchen is very good, the food is very tasty and the service is great. If you're in the area, you should definitely go in and let yourself be pampered. I can only recommend it 100 percent again and again at any time

We had dinner at Clappertons with 4 people last night! Overall, we were all very happy with our choice of dish! The pork tenderloin was on point. The duck breast was tender and well seasoned, the dumplings and red cabbage served with it were fresh and definitely homemade. The service was on point and very friendly. Overall, price/performance was very reasonable, although the prices for the drinks (non-alcoholic bottled beer 0.33l / €4) were a bit expensive in our opinion. The dessert (dessert selection from the pantry) is worth it and is very tasty. We'd love to come back!

The food and atmosphere were great, only our waitress was very disrespectful and spoiled the evening's experience. For 130€ for two people, with almost no drinks, you want more respect from the waitress…

We went to the monastery tavern for a Taler meal. There was a small selection of small dishes, comparable to tapas. We had to wait 45 minutes for the “little thing” we ordered first. For the next order we wanted to order two small things per person. This seemed like a big problem and bordered on overwhelming. The further waiting time for the food was again 45 minutes, and this continued for all orders. Unfortunately no EC card payment was accepted.
