Cozy living room atmosphere, especially during football!

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Sonne. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated with a warm and cozy style that made us feel comfortable right away. Everything was very clean and well kept, and the breakfast offered a good and varied selection. There are, however, two aspects that kept me from giving a full 5 stars. Although the hotel is not far from the town center, the immediate surroundings feel rather inhospitable. Additionally, when we arrived around 21:00, there was no one at the reception. We had to search for the key box ourselves, which, despite the instructions sent by email, was a bit stressful after a long trip. It felt somewhat impersonal and lacked the typical warm welcome you would expect in such a charming hotel. Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay, but with a few details that could be improved to make the experience feel more personal and welcoming. On a funny note, we arrived late and, a bit lost, thought we could ask the people sitting outside in their chairs for directions — only to discover, as we got closer, that they were just mannequins!

We had a high school reunion there. The service was extremely prompt and friendly. The rooms are quite chic and modern. Unfortunately, the acoustics are quite difficult for larger groups, making it a bit difficult to hold a conversation. The food was, by my standards, rather mediocre, but that may have been due to the organizers' orders.
