Landgasthaus Pöppelbaum in Rheda-Wiedenbrück

The country inn is located on the outskirts of Rheda, in the tranquil and quiet district of Lintel. The room was well-maintained and very clean. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant has a quaint and cozy decor. The food is traditional and very good. I can definitely recommend this country inn if you're traveling by car and have a good amount of mobility. Public transportation isn't great throughout the municipality. Otherwise, you have to visit Wiedenbrück's old town at least once, as the people of Wiedenbrück are very proud of it. If you spend a few days in the municipality, you can explore some of the highlights in the area around Bielefeld and Gütersloh.

We always come back to "Pöppi" when we spend our days off in OWL. Even though we sometimes make chaotic changes with our large family, the whole team always responds with a smile and gets it all done. It's like coming home 😍 The rooms are spacious and very clean. The shower is perhaps a little cramped, but that might also be due to our size 😇 Max and his fantastic team are always helpful, competent, and super friendly! We can only rave about the food. You can feel the well-coordinated team there, too. And what we're also very happy about: Max and Darius offer delicious long drinks lovingly refined with fresh mint from their own garden; they now also offer non-alcoholic wines. The absolute highlight since the end of last year, however, has been Max & Moritz: the two little Bolonka brothers: cheeky and cheerful 😀 We're already looking forward to our next visit. Very nice boss and helpful even if there are problems with the appointments, parking spaces directly at the hotel are free of charge and enough for larger Crafter/Sprinter vehicles etc. Very clean rooms and bathroom/toilet is also good! WiFi also in the house and rooms as well as good room prices!

The restaurant is located outside in Lintel and has very good food with a reasonable price-performance ratio As a family with two children you can still eat here for a fee. The quality of the food is very good, especially schnitzel on the menu. The SERVICE is courteous, friendly and quick. The ambience is okay but fits the restaurant and what it offers.

Super nette Eigentümer und Bedienstete. Frühstück super lecker mit frischen Brötchen. Das Essen aus dem Restaurant super lecker zu wirklich fairen Preisen! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber! Einziger Abzug ist: Es wurde auf unserer Etage geraucht, das ist für uns als Nichtraucher mit Kindern nicht so toll.

Wir treffen uns jeden Fall letzten Mittwoch im Monat vom Oldtimer-Club bei Pöppelbaum. Es ist immer sehr gemütlich dort, die Atmosphäre passt unbedingt und das Essen ist spitze!

Moin, wir haben hier gute bürgerliche Küche genossen. Wir wurden sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich bedient. Wir waren nicht zum ersten und natürlich nicht zum letzten Mal hier. Guten Appetit

Bitte viel Zeit mitbringen. Wir sind heute (Muttertag) mit acht Personen im Restaurant gewesen.Die Getränke kamen recht schnell(wie man es so kennt), wobei die Suppe schon auf sich warten ließ.War bis dahin aber nicht so schlimm. Aber dann mußten wir eine gute Stunde auf die Haupspeise warten. Als danach dann der Nachtisch überhaupt nicht kam,habe ich die Rechnung ohne diesen verlangt.Die Rechnung kam dann prompt auf einen Block geschrieben (wobei man nichts nachvollziehen kann).Es gab weder einen Absacker oder einen Kaffee zur Entschuldigung,geschweige denn,einen Nachlass auf die Rechnung,die man nur bar bezahlen konnte. Dem Koch oder der Köchin allerdings meinen größten Respekt für das gute(wenn auch nicht vollständige) Essen. Eigentlich sehr schade.

Zu weit weg von Bayern,Sonst alles in Ordnung...kommen nicht mehr so schnell wieder , unvorstellbares Wetter ... So viel Wasser gibt es in den gesamten Bundesländern nicht zusammen.. (DER VATI HAT IMMER GESAGT ; Man soll nicht lügen !!! )

Nettes Ambiente, super Essen. Klare Empfehlung vor allem für die, die sorgenfrei glutenfrei Essen gehen wollen. Wir selber fahren dort regelmäßig seit gut 10 Jahren zum Essen hin.
