Klosterschenke in Rheda-Wiedenbrück

The food and atmosphere were great, only our waitress was very disrespectful and spoiled the evening's experience. For 130€ for two people, with almost no drinks, you want more respect from the waitress…

I often go to Rheda-Wiedenbrück for work and am also a guest at the hotel. The rooms, I've had different ones, were always clean. The furnishings are old and show signs of wear, but are still functional. The location is quiet. The breakfast, which is described as “Continentales”, has been significantly upgraded. The table is lovingly and invitingly set. There are fresh rolls from the bakery, a small selection of sausage and cheese, Nutella, jam, honey… As much coffee as you like Upon request you can also get tea, different types, water or juice, or like my colleague, another roll. Since I am a vegetarian and this was brought up, my breakfast was immediately changed. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised at what a breakfast for 7.50 euros could contain. Given the price and the selection, my colleague could understand why the breakfast egg was not included. The staff is friendly and you feel accepted when you express your wishes. Since the change in tenants, I see a new positive change every time I stay at the hotel. Dear team from the country inn, keep it up

Nice hotel, unfortunately located a bit noisy on the street. Modernly furnished rooms, but the beds and pillows are not that comfortable. Cleanliness is commendable. The breakfast buffet was rich and good, but unfortunately some dishes were not refilled. My room was awkwardly facing the street where it was very loud at night so you couldn't leave the window open. There is also no bar where you can hang out in the evening. But perfectly fine for a two night stay!

Not bad actually, but in some conditions you get the feeling that you don't feel like it.
