Tolles italienisches Restaurant in einem ausgezeichneten Ambiente. Der Service ist super, freundlich und kompetent. Das Essen ist hochpreisig, die sehr gute Qualität und die einwandfreie Zubereitung rechtfertigen diesen Preis. Bei ca. 150 Plätzen entsteht natürlich ein höherer Geräuschpegel, der aber insgesamt nicht besonders stört. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung, am Wochenende sollte man trotz des großen Platzangebotes reservieren. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder hierher.

Absolute disaster – never again! This “Greek” restaurant is a complete disappointment! The food has nothing to do with Greek cuisine - it tastes like it came from a can. Carelessly prepared, without taste and of poor quality. The service? Simply outrageous! The staff is extremely unfriendly and seems like they don't want to work at all. And the best thing: you're basically thrown out at around 8:45 p.m., even though the restaurant is still open! Conclusion: If you want bad food, rude staff and an incredibly unpleasant atmosphere, this is the place for you. I can only advise everyone else: stay away!

The food tasted either greasy or nothing at all. Ordered sweet and sour pork and you got a portion of meat with rice, the sauce was just warm sweet and sour and there were no vegetables as it should actually be. The spring rolls were filled with a little mushy vegetables (if it was the vegetables) The fried noodles with egg and vegetables only consisted of noodles and exactly one piece of carrot without egg......but nothing, really nothing at all was seasoned or really had any flavor, it just didn't taste good at all. Even the rice, which you can't really go wrong with, could have been used as mortar but not for consumption. More than half of the food ended up in the bin. NEVER AGAIN!

Have been regular guests at Birkhof for many years. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. The food is good, but can no longer compete with other restaurants in the price range. Most main courses now cost around €30.

The best grill plate you can get in Mönchengladbach. I highly recommended onion soup as a starter.

Unfortunately it was the last time I ate there because the landlady is closing the business after 30 years. We've celebrated countless parties there and have always been thrilled with the food and the service. Wish you all the best for the new phase of your life.

I can't understand the negative comments. We ordered here the day before yesterday and my grandma is very picky. She was in love with the Hawaiian tortellini and is already looking forward to the next time. The portions of the kebab plate were huge. The meat was a bit fatty. But otherwise very tasty. As do the sauces and the salad. We will order here again

Food arrived cold, which the owner attributed to the cold weather. I gave him the tip to use an insulated box. Well, there was no refund or improvement. NOT RECOMMENDED! 11 euros for a Dürüm is also cheeky. Disgusting, the food, the service everything.
