Inn... Superb service, all the waiters were incredibly attentive. Incredibly friendly, even on a Sunday afternoon when it felt like 90% of the tables were occupied. The food was absolutely delicious; I wouldn't have changed a thing (if I could). Unfortunately, we all had some leftovers, which isn't meant as a criticism, but rather because the portions were more than generous, especially considering some of us at the table were big eaters. Our next visit is already planned. Highly recommended!

After checking with the kitchen, the waiter said the pancake was always like that. For us, it wasn't okay in terms of smell and consistency. The team was very friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately, I'm no longer a big fan of the Oedinger Zur Waldesruh restaurant. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, especially because of the food and the staff. Unfortunately, the prices at this restaurant have skyrocketed (compared to other pubs). Nevertheless, the food and the selection are very good, it still tastes delicious, and I highly recommend it. So if you want to spend a nice evening and can dig a little deeper into your pockets, the Oedinger Zur Waldesruh restaurant is the perfect place.

We were at the Oedinger Restaurant in Korschenbroich this evening. We had pan-fried shrimp as a starter and the cream soup with mussels and shrimp, which was absolutely delicious. Then we had the Rhenish mussels. Absolutely fantastic. And the service was second to none; a very pleasant evening. We'll see you again.

The village restaurant for (almost) all occasions.

We were just there. A total of 2 hours. After over 60 minutes, we asked for the first time where our food was. The server simply replied, "The food will come." Of course, in a restaurant, food will come eventually 🤷‍♂️ wow After an hour and a half, we asked again. In the meantime, guests who arrived after us had already received their food. Again, the only response was, "I'll ask." It was approaching 2 hours, and we were tired of waiting. We explained the situation to another server (the first one who was truly understanding!) and wanted to cancel the meal. She said she'd take care of it. Then a new server approached us and said, "Oh, are those schnitzels yours? Yes, they're out right now." After 5 minutes, the next server came with the two schnitzels we no longer wanted. When we made it clear to them that we'd like the salad and drinks, but no longer wanted the schnitzel, the manager came out and greeted us with, "Have you ever worked in your life?" That was one too many comments, and everyone fell silent, but sorry, you don't have to put up with it. If I didn't work, I wouldn't be able to afford the prices! For those prices, you shouldn't treat guests like that. That was my last time there!

As a vegetarian you are not in good hands there as there are only a few vegetarian dishes. Maybe the menu could be expanded a bit in this area. Nevertheless we felt comfortable.

We spontaneously decided to go out for dinner this evening (10/6/24). Accompanied yours to the table. A couple who came to the next table a good 10 minutes later were served first with drinks and the food order. The food at the next table had already arrived and we still hadn't ordered anything to drink or eat. Our meal (2xcurrywurst with fries) came with cold curry sauce. We complained and the food came back very quickly (less than 5 minutes). The sausage was in the deep fryer again, as were the fries. The sauce is still COLD!!!! Unfortunately the Oedinger family didn't spill rum on themselves today. We gave the food back. There was no comment from the boss, even though there was a trained chef in the kitchen. VERY Pity!!! And what a shame, we had to pay for it in full.

Very cozy restaurant, as you know it from before. We were there for the first time today, based on a recommendation, and were totally thrilled. We were served very friendly and when we ordered we were informed that the food could also be had in small portions. This was a great recommendation because the normal portions are quite large. We haven't eaten this good and plentiful food at absolutely fair prices for a long time. We can only recommend it and would be happy to come back.

We were there with 8 people. All very satisfactory.

We have been customers of Oedinger for ages. So far we have always been satisfied and have had nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, that has now changed. We were there with a larger group, service was initially good as always. I ordered a rump steak with a 100 gram “medium rare” upgrade. The proud price here is just under 38 euros with fries and salad. The food didn't take long to arrive. Unfortunately, after cutting it was obvious that the steak was almost cooked through. And at the first bite it was clear that it was not (anymore) as tender as you would expect from a medium rare steak. The waitress then took the steak to the kitchen and it came back after 5 minutes. The kitchen deemed it properly cooked. It's now almost cold and after consulting with the rest of the guests, I returned it again. Then the service person explained to me via the menu (the cooking levels are marked) that my steak was supposedly the right cooking level. My attempt or our attempt to get this wrong with my steak was dismissed and I received no replacement or anything. It was the first time I left a restaurant hungry. In the end the steak was even included on the bill, which was the biggest disgrace for me. Unfortunately, that wasn't everything. My neighbor at the table had a dead green fly in her portion of mussels, which was apparently cooked in the broth. She then put them aside in the hope that no further surprises would follow. She didn't complain about this because she was able to see from me how they react to complaints at Oedinger. There was no clarifying conversation or replacement service! Instead, the reaction was stubborn. This contradicts the idea of ​​service that you are promoting. Too bad! Unfortunately, I have read in further reviews that complaints are generally responded to in this way. The question here is why nothing is/has been changed. It was a big disappointment for me and I won't be going there again.

I've been there twice before and found it very good. This time, for Sunday, I was disappointed, I had pork medallions that were too crispy on both sides. You first had to cut off the crust so you could cut the meat. Only the fries were very good. The herb butter didn't taste like anything because it was just a piece of butter with a few green crumbs on the outside. There's no garnish on the plate at all, as you're used to, maybe a sprig of parsley, a slice of tomato or cucumber, nothing. On the table there is a cup with cutlery and wafer-thin paper napkins, so much for the ambience. I don't know if I'll eat there again in the foreseeable future.
