We came here spontaneously to visit someone as we were further away. We were served very friendly by all the service staff. Since everything was actually already reserved, we were given a free table until the upcoming reservation. We'll be back.

We spontaneously decided to go out for dinner this evening (10/6/24). Accompanied yours to the table. A couple who came to the next table a good 10 minutes later were served first with drinks and the food order. The food at the next table had already arrived and we still hadn't ordered anything to drink or eat. Our meal (2xcurrywurst with fries) came with cold curry sauce. We complained and the food came back very quickly (less than 5 minutes). The sausage was in the deep fryer again, as were the fries. The sauce is still COLD!!!! Unfortunately the Oedinger family didn't spill rum on themselves today. We gave the food back. There was no comment from the boss, even though there was a trained chef in the kitchen. VERY Pity!!! And what a shame, we had to pay for it in full.

Very cozy restaurant, as you know it from before. We were there for the first time today, based on a recommendation, and were totally thrilled. We were served very friendly and when we ordered we were informed that the food could also be had in small portions. This was a great recommendation because the normal portions are quite large. We haven't eaten this good and plentiful food at absolutely fair prices for a long time. We can only recommend it and would be happy to come back.

We have been customers of Oedinger for ages. So far we have always been satisfied and have had nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, that has now changed. We were there with a larger group, service was initially good as always. I ordered a rump steak with a 100 gram “medium rare” upgrade. The proud price here is just under 38 euros with fries and salad. The food didn't take long to arrive. Unfortunately, after cutting it was obvious that the steak was almost cooked through. And at the first bite it was clear that it was not (anymore) as tender as you would expect from a medium rare steak. The waitress then took the steak to the kitchen and it came back after 5 minutes. The kitchen deemed it properly cooked. It's now almost cold and after consulting with the rest of the guests, I returned it again. Then the service person explained to me via the menu (the cooking levels are marked) that my steak was supposedly the right cooking level. My attempt or our attempt to get this wrong with my steak was dismissed and I received no replacement or anything. It was the first time I left a restaurant hungry. In the end the steak was even included on the bill, which was the biggest disgrace for me. Unfortunately, that wasn't everything. My neighbor at the table had a dead green fly in her portion of mussels, which was apparently cooked in the broth. She then put them aside in the hope that no further surprises would follow. She didn't complain about this because she was able to see from me how they react to complaints at Oedinger. There was no clarifying conversation or replacement service! Instead, the reaction was stubborn. This contradicts the idea of ​​service that you are promoting. Too bad! Unfortunately, I have read in further reviews that complaints are generally responded to in this way. The question here is why nothing is/has been changed. It was a big disappointment for me and I won't be going there again.

I've been there twice before and found it very good. This time, for Sunday, I was disappointed, I had pork medallions that were too crispy on both sides. You first had to cut off the crust so you could cut the meat. Only the fries were very good. The herb butter didn't taste like anything because it was just a piece of butter with a few green crumbs on the outside. There's no garnish on the plate at all, as you're used to, maybe a sprig of parsley, a slice of tomato or cucumber, nothing. On the table there is a cup with cutlery and wafer-thin paper napkins, so much for the ambience. I don't know if I'll eat there again in the foreseeable future.

We've eaten here several times now. Be it during knuckle or mussel season or just like that. Honestly, you still get something for your money here. Really delicious food, decent portions and super friendly service. We would love to come back.

Rather old atmosphere, with very tasty food and friendly service. The prices are rather high, but the quality of the food is great. My schnitzel could have been pounded thin, but that's my personal opinion. The goulash soup was very tasty. All dishes were plentiful.

We reserved a table in the outdoor area of ​​the restaurant by email, which worked great. We were placed in a protected area. Our request for a different table, a little brighter, was fulfilled. Drinks arrived very quickly and we were asked several times what we wanted. Since we wanted to chat first, we ordered later. Since the food is freshly prepared, it took half an hour, which we think is completely fine. The outside lighting was almost completely occupied, but there was still no sign of hecticness, the entire staff deserved the grade A+. Friendly, quick and a few nice words, I don't ask for more anywhere. Apart from the fried potatoes with no seasoning, no onion and no bacon, our meal was great. Pork schnitzel with fried onions 1a and the chanterelles with napkin dumplings were super tasty and a large portion. The food is delicious and it's fun to look at the dishes. Unfortunately there is only one problem: you can't eat all the dishes at once 😇. The service is friendly and quick. The interior of this restaurant is very beautiful to me; it reminds me of our old village restaurant where we had so many beautiful moments. Our food was so greasy that it was inedible. After I couldn't eat the vegetable pan I ordered, consisting of onions, mushrooms and a lot of fat, I ordered Camembert. This was still cold on the inside/frozen in the middle, I complained and got the cut piece back from the microwave. Unedible!!! The service was great. We were there with part of the company (16 people). Absolutely amazing and attentive staff. There was always something to drink. You didn't have to wait. The menu is very large and you look at it several times. I'll take this, or this one, no, that's even better. Even though the restaurant was full, our food came quickly and at the same time. We eat there regularly and have also celebrated larger parties there. So far we have never been disappointed. The portions are generous and very tasty. The selection on the menu is large. It's hard to choose because everything is delicious. The service is friendly and quick. The Corona menu is large and the delivery service is a great thing. I had the El Presto schnitzel, my husband had the Brauermahl and my mother had the Swabian schnitzel. It was again plentiful and super tasty. Two weeks ago we ate the sauerbraten there. The meat was very tender and the sauce was really good. I didn't like the dumplings that much. But I'm also spoiled.

The service was initially good and very quick. Unfortunately my flint with beef and pork was absolutely fried to death. In addition, poultry that shouldn't be there got lost on it. The tip to waiter 1 was dismissed with "It's a shame" and waitress 2 said "fried to death? Alive would also be bad. Maybe it will be better next time". No accommodating or anything like that. For a comparatively very high price segment in a "pub" (Wiener-style schnitzel with fries over 20 euros, for example, a simple steak with fries over 30) I would have expected much more. We cannot recommend and will not come back.

Früher bekam man noch Platz, aber jetzigen Õffnungszeiten und das man dann Termin für Tage in Vorraus machen muss, ist es einfach nicht Wert. Wir gehen dann wieder etwas mehr ins Steakhouse... Sorry, für mich ist das an Kundenservice vorbei....

Wir waren gestern zu 6. essen. Jeder ein anderes Gericht. Schnitzel Filets, Steaks, Steaksaalat genial. Perfekter Gargrad, alles genau wie bestellt - medium bzw medium well!! So ein leckerer Beilagensalat!!! Alle Gerichte ausnahmslos köstlich, reichlich, frisch, perfekt. Freundliches u. aufmerksames Personal. Unsere Freunde kommen aus Heinsberg und Nieukerk und wir aus Kempen - und wir kommen alle sehr gerne wieder. Jeder Besuch ist jeden km wert! Danke.

Super leckeres Essen, Preise etwas höher, dafür sind die Portionen auch echt ordentlich. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder, kann jedem den Besuch wärmstens empfehlen.

Super leckeres Essen und nettes Personal

Sehr leckeres Essen, eine irre Auswahl an Schnitzel, Grillteller und Burger. Alles vier Gerichte und auch die Cremesupper als Vorspeise, waren sehr lecker....Selbst der Beilagensalat hat ein schmackhaftes Dressing und war, genau wie die Hauptspeisen, sehr üppig in der Portionsgröße. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier noch als sehr positiv zu erwähnen. So viel Positives bewährt sich, deswegen sollte man auf jeden Fall im Vorfeld reservieren. Update: Auch der zweite Besuch war wieder sehr positiv. Sehr lecker, grosse Portionen und angemessene Preise. Heute, an einem Sonnatgmittag, sogar mit Livemusik.

Essen steht absolut im Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Keine langen Wartezeit alle bekommen das Essen gleichzeitig. Freundliches Personal kommt zwischendurch fragen ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob es schmeckt. Da das Lokal sehr gross ist kommt es bei voller Auslastung zu einem hohen Geräuschpegel das man aber auf Grund der genannten positiven Dinge gerne in Kauf nimmt. Komme immer wieder gerne mit Familie dort hin. Und im Sommer gehen wir in den Biergarten.

Von der Einrichtung ein wenig rustikal, aber hier kann man sich ordentlich satt essen. Besonders zu empfehlen für Fleischliebhaber und im Herbst für Muschel-Freunde.

Bisher war ich immer vollstens zufrieden. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Bedienung weitestgehend freundlich und das Ambiente urig schön. Dafür fuhr ich gerne mal eine etwas weitere Strecke um dorthin zu gelangen um einen schönen Abend bei gutem Essen zu verbringen. Leider musste ich Heute erschreckend festellen dass ich mir den Besuch kaum noch leisten kann aufgrund der stark gestiegenen Preise. In meinem Beispiel 4€ mehr für mein Lieblings Hauptgericht. Da Frage ich mich: Wann ist denn das Limit erreicht? Ich muss mir das jetzt gut überlegen ob ich jetzt immernoch öfters komme oder doch nur noch 1x im Jahr zu einem besonderen Anlass. Traurig dass Essen gehen für Normalverdiener kaum noch zu stemmen ist. Daher 4 Sterne sorry

//Update: Wir waren ca 2-3 Monate später mit unserer Familie noch einmal dort und waren dann richtig enttäuscht. Ich habe meinen Teller halbvoll zurückgeben lassen und dem Kellner mein Feedback gegeben: - Burger-Pattie war zäh - "Bacon" war ein daumendickes Stück Bauch - Guacamole war eine blassgrüne und dünne Soße, die aber auch nichts mit dem Erwarteten zu tun hatte Die Reaktion des Kellners war auch ernüchternd. Beschwerden darüber gäb es laut seiner Aussage wohl häufiger. Das wars. Deswegen werde ich die Bewertung noch einmal abwerten und habe auch schon mehreren Menschen davon abgeraten, dorthin zu gehen. //Ursprünglicher Post: Solides Essen (einige Gerichte waren sehr gut - leider bei meinem Gericht der Garpunkt verfehlt), sehr große Portionen, leider zu lange Wartezeiten, freundliches Personal (wirkte aber etwas chaotisch). Wir werden sicherlich nochmal wieder kommen - aber zu einer anderen Uhrzeit mit der Hoffnung, dass es nicht so voll ist, denn die Wartezeiten waren einfach zu lang.

Waren mit einer größeren Gruppe zur Geburtstagsfeier dort. Schönes Lokal, treu deutsche Küche, aber auch Burger und Steaks. Sehr umfangreiche Speisearte, grosse Portionen, sehr schöne Bierauswahl, top Qualität beim Essen, sehr netter Service. Werde definitiv wieder hingehen.

Die Bratkartoffeln kross und nicht verbrannt, die Erbsen und Möhren mit leichtem biss, das Spiegelei warm. Alles gut abgeschreckt, würzig aber nicht drüber. Und alles heiß. Die Wartezeit für mich vollkommen in Ordnung. Meine Frau hatte die Muscheln rheinischer Art und war auch sehr zufrieden. Insgesamt waren wir mit 8 Personen. Ganz Fehlerfrei war es auch diesmal nicht, ein Getränk wurde vergessen, wurde dann nachgeliefert. Und ein Essen kam falsch, wurde aber ebenfalls recht zügig ohne Probleme nachgeliefert. Alles in allem ein schöner Abend. Dafür das es so voll war, doch noch eine angenehme Akustik und Luft. Nun waren wir mal wieder da ich hatte die Korschenbroich Schnitzelpfanne drei Schnitzel wienerart mit Bratkartoffeln mit Zwiebeln und Speck und zwei Spiegeleiern alles lecker und heiß. Meine Frau hatte das Rumpsteak Waldesruh medium mit Pommes auch alles bestens. Weiter so.

Essen ist super lecker. Aber es laufen sehr viele Kellner rum und trotzdem dauert es lange bis man bedient wird oder bis die schmutzigen Teller abgeräumt werden.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Karte mit guter Auswahl, Essen ist hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich - und das, obwohl es (wie üblich) rappelvoll ist dort. Also im Vorfeld idealerweise einen Tisch reservieren. Wir kommen gerne immer wieder.
