My husband and I went to the Kempner Christmas market today and then had a meal at the marktgrill schashlik because we come from Mönchengladbach and have heard a lot about it and in the end we were justifiably enthusiastic about it, so the food was really great. Above all, the way we were served by the young man was really impressive, even though the shop was full, he was very warm, served us in a friendly manner and calmly explained the menu to us and my husband and I were very enthusiastic about it and we also got an extra on the house receive. We will come to eat with you often!

It's a real shame that it's closing at the end of the year. My grandchildren love his cooking and I love his delicate appetizers.

Nice locarion (depending on which place you get). The food was ok (pulled pork burger). In my opinion the meat wasn't great. Cocktails are cheap, but personally I think they're bad. My Sex on the Beach was everything but not what I ordered. No toilet paper in the men's toilet (but that can happen). Price performance..... I personally think it's little to much money for the quality. But if you like it... there are better shops in Kempen. In Venga the burger is much better in comparison and the cocktails are also the way they should be mixed according to the recipe. I actually find comparisons like that rather stupid, but through similar orders there I have a direct comparison.

A beautiful pub, as you know it from before. You hardly find anything like that these days. Very friendly owner. Good location for celebrations. Highly recommended!

A wedding meal in a great atmosphere was planned!!!!!!!! Everything was coordinated several times and little was implemented. The agreed table arrangement was not observed. The table decorations didn't match the wedding. The champagne reception was not ordered. The agreed vegetarian dish was a disastrous surprise. On the strange wedding menu - paper - an extremely loveless paper, riddled with errors, dessert was completely missing. Service more than bad. The final sentence: We wish the bride and groom all the best and bon appetit. Bravo, if you like, you're welcome to do it. None of us anymore. It's an incredible shame in this wonderful atmosphere, from which much more could be made if the planning is right, care, service, friendliness and the coordinated things are implemented. In the hope that criticism will be implemented better for others.

Such a friendly atmosphere. Everyone who works there was so friendly and accommodating. You can tell that there are people there who love their work and the guests. The food is great and they know their stuff. We will come back.

Not even able to make a meat roll special. You get a chopped up, shriveled sausage with huge pieces of onion. Without sauce. Straight into the trash. One star is still too many

Unfortunately the staff wasn't that friendly and we waited a long time for service. I had a goat cheese burger The meat was totally dry and the coleslaw didn't taste good either. We were very disappointed. We won't eat there anymore.
