Venga Kempen in Kempen

I only got a voucher and therefore can't rate the food. Ambience was good, I can't rate the upper area because I wasn't upstairs, but I was picked up right at the door, very friendly, then I expressed my wish and was very friendly and accompanied to the checkout and everything was fine there too. I will definitely go there and report back, but at the moment I can only describe my first impression and it was very good because everyone was friendly and didn't ignore me, even though there was a lot to do. Service was coordinated and was never helpless or alone in any way, which is why I can't rate the full stars except for the food, although I've heard good things, but I always make up my own mind first! To the venga team, I'll come by promptly and also rate the food, so everything was great!

Simply no! Rude waiter, vomit on the floor in the toilet, smell of vomit at the top of the table while eating (although nothing visible). But the food tasted good. Cocktails were nothing special

Unfortunately we are more than disappointed. We got our food quickly, but the service was disastrous. We repeatedly pointed out to several waiters that the table should be cleared. In the meantime we had already ordered desserts and the dishes from the starters had still not been cleared away. The reservation was at 7:00 p.m. - the starter arrived at around 7:30 p.m. The photo was taken at 10:15 p.m. and it wasn't cleared away once until we left the restaurant.

Unfortunately the staff wasn't that friendly and we waited a long time for service. I had a goat cheese burger The meat was totally dry and the coleslaw didn't taste good either. We were very disappointed. We won't eat there anymore.

The Venga is a really cool location. The drinks are ok, so are the cocktails, the food is good. The second time we were served by a very friendly and nice woman (blond / slim / 160cm?)... she is super nice, but it often seems as if she does 70% of the work alone. Sometimes you have to wait a long time to order or pay, which is not the woman's fault, but rather because she has a lot to do and is jumping from guest to guest. Maybe a little more support for them would also be an advantage for the guests. The location is always busy and full. Often you can only get in if you have a reservation. So the sales should make it possible to employ one or two people on such days...... (I think as an ignorant person) Shame on my head if I write something wrong 😄😄😄. Otherwise a great shop

Food was ok but the dinner overall was very bad. In summary: -French fries raw on the inside and limp -Burger: cold, soggy, untoasted and ¾ thrown away despite being asked to pack it up and charge the full price -First please forgot to pay and threw away burgers -Second please it took a total of 40 minutes and came back without a burger and charged us €1 more per burger. -Never again All in all it took about 1 hour to pay and neither the burger nor the correct price was charged, catastrophe. The hot nachos that we ordered as a starter were very tasty and quite inexpensive for their size. It started with the burgers being cold and soggy, the fries the same. We first waited 15 minutes for the waiter to respond, which wasn't a problem at first. We told this waiter that we would like to have the remaining ¾ of the burger and all the fries wrapped up and pay for it. He took the burger and then waited for 30 minutes and then we had to speak to another waitress because, according to her, we had been forgotten. This came after 10 minutes to pay, but without the burger or fries. When asked, she said she would check again, 10 minutes later she said she would check immediately, about 20 minutes later she told us that the burger could not be found (it had ended up in the trash), and we were also charged €1 more per burger.

Essen war ok aber das Abendessen insgesamt war sehr schlecht. Zusammengefasst: -Burger: kalt, labrig und ¾ weggeschmissen trotz bitte zum einpacken -Erste bitte zum Zahlen vergessen und hat Burger weggeschmissen -Zweite bitte dafür brauchte insgesamt 40min und kam ohne Burger wieder und hat uns 1€ pro Burger mehr berechnet. All in all ca. 1h gebraucht zum Bezahlen und weder Burger noch richtiger Preis berechnet, Katastrophe. Die Hot-Nachos die wir als Vorspeise bestellt haben waren sehr lecker und für die Größe auch recht Preiswert. Es fing damit an das die Burger kalt waren und labrig, die Pommes dasselbe. Wir erst einmal 15min auf Reaktion der Kellner gewartet haben, was erstmal kein Problem ist. Diesem Kellner haben wir gesagt das wir den ¾ übrigen Burger und komplette Pommes gerne Eingepackt bekommen würden und bezahlen wollen. Er nahm den Burger und ließ dann 30min von sich hören und wir haben dann einen weitere Kellnerin ansprechen müssen da wir laut ihr vergessen wurden. Diese kam nach 10min zum Zahlen, aber ohne den Burger oder Pommes. Auf Nachfrage sagte sie sie würde nochmal nachsehen, 10min später sagt sie sie würde sofort nachgucken, ca 20min danach teilte sie uns mit dass der Burger nicht auffindbar wäre(im Müll gelandet), dazu wurde uns pro Burger auch noch 1€ mehr berechnet.

Das Venga in Kempen ist ein schönes Restaurant wo man gutes Essen bekommt. Man sollte schon damit rechnen einiges an Geld auszugeben denn billig ist das Essen und die Getränke nicht. Dafür sind sie aber sehr lecker und die Location ist auch sehr gemütlich. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen und es gibt eine relativ große Speisekarte mit Pizza, Burger, Flammkuchen und Pommes aber noch einigen mehr. Es ist für jeden was dabei :)

The food was very good. The entrecôte was a bit too mixed for me personally, but the taste was very good. Price-performance ratio is also very good.

The Venga restaurant is located in the heart of Kempen, near the church. There are many tables outside where you can relax and unwind. There are also plenty of spaces inside. The menu is filled with a wide variety of dishes. Burgers, wraps, tarte flambée, pizzas, pasta, oven dishes, meat and fish dishes. Starters and desserts can also be found on the menu. There is something for everybody. Plus cocktails, wine and spirits alongside non-alcoholic drinks. The price-performance ratio is completely appropriate, as the food is very rich and attractively served. The service is quick and friendly. It may be advisable to make a reservation. In any case, we would love to come back.

Overall the burger/menu looked great. BUT The burgersauce was blend, the bun wasn't really toasted and the patty was cooked for too long. The fries were crunchy but it felt like they were raw inside. We ordered beer and coke as drinks. The coke was warm. Not even room temperature but warm warm.

We eat at Venga regularly and are always satisfied. Often for dinner, but also for breakfast.

Got the wrong dish, which I then had to pay for. (15€)

Unfortunately, the “Vegi-burger” was quite dry, the vegetable patty was extremely salty and had little other taste. The sweet potato fries with garlic mayo were delicious. The service was good.

Tarte flambée was cold. Burger patty was tough. Fries were good. Pretty loud. Modernly designed. Service good.

Never again...we used to be there several times a week it was always perfect...food staff and the cocktails...we just wanted to revive the old times and reserved a table for last Friday...when we arrived we were Skilfully ignored by the waitress and treated rather unfriendly...we didn't even get to eat...Yes, she did everything she could to ensure that we left the restaurant immediately without occupying our table...now we know for sure why we weren't there anymore...this lady definitely has the wrong job...she shouldn't be let loose on customers unless you don't want to earn anything...

Was here with a friend. Had reserved a table and were able to sit outside. We both had a burger with sweet potatoes. Very, very tasty and the mango dip that was recommended to me was also delicious😃. The service was also very friendly. The prices were good, but they are now higher everywhere. I can only recommend it. But you should reserve on WE👍

We ate there...on the board it said asparagus schnitzel with fries 9.90 EU. When we wanted to order it, it was succinctly said that it was lunch. There was nothing about lunch on the board! So instead of leaving, we stupidly ordered hamburgers, which weren't great in terms of taste, fries or coleslaw hmmm actually everything should be included for the price, just fries.. Ok, it wasn't my thing

Classic furnishings and well attended. Reservation is an advantage. Rocket was missing, the cherry tomatoes came a little later and the asparagus was almost chopped up and carelessly decorated, so it was one point less.

Great evening, but unfortunately I thought that the quality of the nachos including dips should have been better for the price! The quacamole tasted like vinegar and flavor enhancers. However, the drinks and main courses were great and the staff was super friendly ☺️

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Venga at all. The quality of the food may be "good" but the menu should definitely be revised again. It is unacceptable that a Caesar salad, which is known internationally and the name alone is usually enough of a description, is only served with “bacon shreds” and that for a price of €14.90. If you then want the chicken breast strips with it, which should be a given with a Caesar salad, it costs around €7.00 more. Which brings the entire salad to a price of Roud About €22.00. I don't even pay that much for a salad in the middle of Düsseldorf. But that wasn't the biggest reason why I don't recommend Venga, but rather the lack of service. The service was so terrible and ignorant that I would recommend a staff meeting to refresh the basic knowledge of gastronomy and how to treat guests correctly. I love and live gastronomy and I find it sad what I was able to experience today.

The food and cocktails are very tasty. I also really like the atmosphere and the service is extremely friendly. I've been there several times now and haven't had to wait long for my order, even though the restaurant was very full every time.

This was the second time I was a guest at Venga and I actually have to say that I like everything from start to finish! The service, the food, the ambience. It's all great and at a very fair price! Only accessibility leaves something to be desired. But you can also usually find good help from the very friendly staff!

Mega delicious vegetarian burger with lentil quinoa patty and crunchy sweet potato fries. Baguette with a herb cream was served as a starter (Personally, I think the place is better than one or two extra papers) There is plenty of choice on the menu, so there should be something for everyone. (pasta, salads, pizza, burgers, wraps) Staff friendly and attentive. Only the bar stools weren't that comfortable, but there are other seats too. Conclusion: would love to come back.

Still a good address in Kempen, the food is very sumptuous, but I think a classic schnitzel with fries for 25 euros is a bit overpriced despite all the price increases

Food was super tasty, service was great. Unfortunately, the kitchen was ventilated from 9 p.m. and it got freezing cold. When we asked for the door to be closed, they just said that there was no other way, that colleagues had to come in and out...hence a star deduction for the ambience

Das Essen ist eigentlich immer lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und gut. Das Ambiente ist eigentlich sehr schön, nur die letzten Male saßen wir in der hintersten Ecke. Dies hatte zufolge das es sehr laut und eng wirkte. Alles in allem bin ich ganz zufrieden mit unserem Besuch im Venga.

Bin aktuell mit einem Kollegen im Venga Kempen ( 5.1.2024) und sitzen an der Theke im Erdgeschoss Wir wurden direkt von Anfang an bedient ohne warte Zeiten und haben alles wie bestellt bekommen Die Leute sind sehr freundlich und gehen immer auf den Kundenwunsch ein Besonders der Cocktailman der die super Getränke am mixen ist echt Hammer :) Gerne wieder und wieder und einfach nur empfehlenswert :)

Fast 2 Std. Wartezeit und Essen war dürftig. Burgerpatty war mehr als durchgebraten...

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Publikum ist zwischen 18 und 80. Ich hatte nicht eine negative Erfahrung und verkehrte mittlerweile seit ca.15 Monaten mehrmals die Woche im Venga . Sehr fleißiges und freundliches Personal und das ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ich habe verschiedene warm und kaltspeisen probiert und war nie enttäuscht. Die Gerichte sind professionell und gut zubereitet und abgeschmeckt. Die speisengrösse ist eher zuviel für mich aber sehr lecker. Wenn das Wetter es zulässt ist draußen sitzen möglich. KANN DAS VENGA IN KEMPEN JEDEM EMPFEHLEN. 🍽🥂🍹 👀 einfach vorbei und bildet euch selber eine Meinung.

Tolles Ambiente, klasse Preis/Leistung

Locker und Jung und Alt zusammen. Wir waren nach dem Weihnachtsmarkt dort auf Bier und Cocktail und ich werde mit der Familie vorbei schauen. Die Burger Karte war sehr viel versprechend.

Trotz fehlender Reservierung bot man uns eine warteplatz an der Theke an. Nach etwa 30min. war dann ein Tisch für 2 frei. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker. Immer wieder.

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend spontan im Venga, obwohl keine Reservierung, hatten eure netten Mädels noch einen Tisch für uns 👍 Ich hatte das Wiener Schnitzel, was wirklich sehr gut war. Vielen lieben Dank für den super Service, ich komme bestimmt wieder!

Schönes Ambiente, gute Auswahl beim Buffet, ziemlich laut, nettes und aufmerksames Personal, eher hochpreisig. Sonntags leider nur Buffet zum Frühstück möglich. Negativ aufgefallen ist, dass für Hafermilch statt normaler Milch zum Kaffee 1 Euro Aufpreis verlangt wird.

Meine Familie und ich gehen regelmäßig zum Frühstücken dort. Das Ambiente, die Bedienung und das Essen sind gut bis sehr gut ! Wenn viel los ist, dann ist es schon mal lauter. Klare Empfehlung.

Bin seit einigen Jahren gerne hier Gast. Das Personal war bis jetzt immer freundlich und aufmerksam, auch wenn es auch mal stressiger für die Mitarbeiter war. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis der Getränke und Speisen liegt im guten Mittelfeld. Eine empfehlenswerte Adresse in Kempen.👍

Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, da wir da nur was getrunken haben. Also die Anti-alkoholischen Cocktails waren sehr gut, die Caipirinhas gingen so, einer hatte so gut wie keinen Alkohol, der andere dafür umso mehr. Alles in allem aber total OK, von daher 4 von 5 Sternen!

Sehr nett , leckeres Essen und Getränke guter Service, Lokal hat ein schönes Ambiente. Wir saßen oben und zu späterer Stunde war die Geräuschs Kulisse doch ein zu laut um sich entspannt zu unterhalten, aber das ist ein sehr kleiner Wermutstropfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. P.s die Süßkartoffelpommes sind spitze.

warum ist es hier nicht leer??! bei der minderen qualität und bei der dunklen schlauch-atmosphäre fragt man sich, warum hier überhaupt einige leute sitzen?!?? das schmeckt ja gar nicht hier! und bloss nicht bouillabaisse bestellen: tomaten-convenience-suppe mit 3 miesmuscheln + 1 garnelen und sehr fischigem geruch! wir kommen nie wieder hierher! einzig: die bedienung war zauberhaft! dafür 1 stern *
