We ordered 2 American pizzas, when they arrived the two pizzas were already completely soggy and the edge was extremely hard (10 minute drive). We almost had to look for crabs. overall very carelessly covered. Definitely the last order for us.

I've known Chicco for 50 years. Unfortunately he had big problems with the restaurant in Neuss, water kept coming and then it was closed. I was sick for a long time and didn't realize it. Now I have found him again. It was beautiful. His dear wife and Chicco just Chicco. That alone is worth a visit but the food... Great. All I can say is go there. The prawns were worth kneeling down.

I eat here regularly due to the fact that the restaurant is located directly in the hotel. So far I've always been satisfied. The waiters are very nice and accommodating. The restaurant offers plenty of space.

A Kaarst institution for decades.

Wir waren ganz alleine im Restaurant. Hatten einen Aperitif bestellt und unmittelbar danach schon unser Essen bekommen. Mein Steak war wie eine Kugel im Purreebett und überhaupt nicht praktikabel zum Schneiden. Die Kombination mit dem Pürree schmeckte auch nicht. Der rote undefinierbare Streifen daneben war überhaupt nicht lecker. Das Filet war mit mehreren Sehnen durchzogen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte gar nicht. Ich hatte Freunde zum Essen eingeladen. Bei der Bezahlung, stellte der Kellner mir ein Tablet mitten auf dem Tisch, wo jeder sehen konnte, was ich bezahlen durfte. Unmöglich! Diskret wäre hier angebracht! U.a. lief der Kellner mit weißen Stoffhandschuhen rum und machte damit Alles ! Ein Hemd für so eine Location wäre auch stilvoll gewesen. Stattdessen trug man ein verzogenes T-Shirt über die Hose. Alles sehr passend 🙈 In der Küche wurde vor unseren Augen gestritten. Auch das hätte man vermeiden können. Es lief noch viel mehr schief. Für uns ist der Entschluss gefallen, wir waren schon sehr oft da, aber von Mal zu Mal konnten wir eine Verschlechterung wahrnehmen. Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen. Schade um das schöne Ambiente! Wir waren mal gerne Gast.

We ate very well. Flammkuchen were top notch. The staff was friendly and helpful. We celebrated a birthday there and were served by an incredibly friendly woman. She served us with a smile throughout the evening, without stress, even though she was very busy, and was very competent. Her colleague was also very nice, but he served on the other side. Well, the owners must be happy to have such an employee.

Very friendly staff, delicious food and a nice terrace. We'd love to come back. Quality and service are also excellent on the 5th and 6th visits. We will be sad to see this restaurant close. Kaarst is losing a very good restaurant.

Bad food, expensive prices, few places

We ate and drank well. The quantity was generous and everything was freshly prepared. The service is also very attentive and the prices are okay. I found the music disturbing, which in my opinion is more suitable for a disco or pub, but that's probably a matter of taste. But for me that's a reason for deducting 1 star.
