Wurstwunder in Kaarst

We regularly reserve a bowling lane at the Effertshof, about every four weeks. When we arrived today, there was apparently some confusion as to whether someone in our group had canceled – something that, in our opinion, could have easily been resolved. Unfortunately, the owner's behavior was very disappointing. He was extremely rude, didn't engage with us, ignored our inquiries, and showed no willingness to resolve the situation together. Instead of a brief conversation, we were simply brushed off. Especially with regular reservations, we would have expected respectful and professional service. As a guest, you don't feel welcome under these circumstances. It's a shame, because the Effertshof could have handled this situation much better.

There were three of us eating there. The service was very friendly from the boss and wife, and the food was delicious and the portions were good.

We sat outside in the beer garden. The food was delicious and served quickly. Service was prompt. We'd love to go back soon.

What a rip-off! I bought two vouchers there for Christmas last year. And then I hear that people want to redeem the vouchers but the restaurant is closed. We always enjoyed being your customers, but ripping people off like this is really unfair.
