We came here spontaneously after eating padel with 5 people. It was delicious and a great end to a sports evening. The food was freshly prepared and the portions were large enough. Pasta, wine, bruschetta, everything tasty. We'll definitely do that again

Cozy cafe in the city center. Comfortable armchairs, fast service and homemade potato rolls. The breakfast was nicely prepared. Coffee and other drinks must be ordered separately. I'd love to come back.

Good evening everyone, we were at the Kornmühle last night and wanted to eat there with ten people. Unfortunately nothing came of it because we had the impression that the boss was overwhelmed with an order of ten. He said we had reservations for 6:00 p.m. But we had reserved for 5 p.m. We had to let this gentleman insult us the whole time. In the reviews my family wrote, we were portrayed as unwelcome guests. And he was glad we left. I am a hotel manager myself and have worked in my profession for over 30 years. I have never experienced such behavior. We were ten paying guests, which he was happy to forego because we weren't his clientele. I don't even know how he could know that. He just insulted us from the start. I also conclude our review with this. Because he insulted each and every one of us during the recessions. I think it's a shame because the restaurant made a very cozy impression, but the boss himself was completely overwhelmed. Maybe it was because there was a city festival in Geilenkirchen yesterday and he had a lot to do. But even then you can't behave like that towards paying guests. I wish the gentleman all the best for the future and perhaps a little more friendliness towards his guests. I read in the reviews that it was poor service and an unfriendly innkeeper. We can only agree with that. All the best again and see you again. Best regards

Super tasty, great service, very cozy!

This family is a kind dream. There isn't much more to say. I like to stop there and enjoy the surroundings (especially the evening sun). Another culinary delight (not to be taken literally) is the horse stable right next door. The children enjoy the animals and can have fun between their stay. Adult fun is also taken care of: the guest team is a wonderful combination of warmth, willingness and hospitality. Thanks.

BD Sushi has moved out and the restaurant is now run as a public restaurant.

That used to be good. Expensive and unclean

I don't take any joy in giving a negative review, but this place is really bad. The pasta had zero flavor. The bread was hard and stale and mixed in with some weird 'Baked Lays' type of chips, also as stale as they could be. The server was nice but very slow and I had to remind her 5 different times. It's a shame because it seems like an ok Place from the outside.

An absolute dream... Such tasty and high-quality food paired with the leadership of this extremely friendly and warm couple Arndt and Iris is more than winning the lottery for tranquil Geilenkirchen. For a romantic evening with my wife as well as with the whole family, the Soñador in the old grain mill is always the first address for us when it comes to having a really good time and being pampered. 5 stars and an absolute top recommendation!

Very tasty, especially the schnitzel

Salad far too small for €9.50! Ordered normal pizza, got small one. Driver should bring over the money that was overpaid. But it didn't happen! It was the last time we ordered there
