You feel like you're on vacation. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, you sit very nicely and without prying eyes from the street. The owners are super nice and sometimes take the time to chat with the guests. Now about the food. It was really very tasty. The salmon was to die for and the knuckle was incredibly good too. The portions are great and the wine is delicious too. The prices are justified for the high quality food. Everything is homemade with love. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation. There is also a beer garden and nice seating for people who just want a drink

We ate there together at the recommendation of a colleague. I ordered the sauerbraten and I often eat a sauerbraten in restaurants if it's on the menu, but none have been as good as what's available here. The food awakened memories and emotions of times gone by. My opinion is that this restaurant is one of the best in the area. The food was top. There is a lot of love and passion in the whole restaurant and in the food. I think that's clearly noticeable. I can't confirm the few bad reviews there are here, let alone understand them in any way. I can only recommend everyone to take a look for themselves. You will not regret it. We'll definitely come back more often. Thank you for the great food and the great evening.

Exceptionally beautiful location...fantastic food, more than exceeded our expectations. Everyone was super friendly, we had a great evening there. The first but definitely not the last time. We were completely satisfied. We can definitely recommend it

Inexpensive but not cheap, quality has its price would be a fitting saying for this restaurant. We were all very happy especially with the main course. The starter and dessert were okay but not as outstanding as the main course in my case, sauerbraten.

Insanely great atmosphere and totally friendly people. If you go there with celiac disease: it's totally safe! The quality of the food is mega! And the portion size... let's put it this way: my stomach is closed due to overcrowding 😂

We were here today for a special occasion (birthday). Otherwise the restaurant looked more upscale from the outside, judging from what you saw on the menu. This related to the presentation, the selection of dishes, but also the price. I ate the pulled pork burger with fries. This was tasty, although unusual in a combination with BBQ sauce and "normal" vegetables, i.e. vegetables that can also be found on standard burgers. That means not with sauerkraut as is often the case. Unfortunately, the typical taste of the pulled pork was somewhat lost due to the intense sauce. However, the salad and fries were very tasty. There was also a wide selection of drinks including spirits, wines and cocktails. But even without alcohol there was a lot to choose from. The boss came by twice in person, which was very cool, and then pointed out to the people who weren't sure how classy the restaurant really is that you can definitely eat with your hands. A special feature of the service was that you had to decide when you wanted the service. This has been implemented with a button for “service” and a button for “payment”. This system was new to me, but not necessarily bad. The fact that no one asked if you wanted something new to drink when the glass was empty was your own fault. In terms of price, the Kornmühle is not something we would eat at often because the price is already high. Still a nice evening with good food in a nice atmosphere.

Today my wife and I went to the Kornmühle's new food truck. We ate a portion of gyros with tzatziki, fries and coleslaw and a currywurst with fries and coleslaw. The gyro was crispy, tender and very tasty. The tzatziki went great with it because it didn't mask the taste of the meat but rather enhanced it. The coleslaw has a nice acidity. The curry sauce is really delicious, I could also imagine it on a crispy Viennese schnitzel. We particularly noticed the fries, they were very crispy despite the fact that we took the food home with us, something you don't usually get with take-away food. Next time I would like a double portion of gyros & tzatziki.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Food was excellent. I will definitely be a guest again. For dog owners: Only 1 dog is allowed in the restaurant. This must be announced in advance when making the reservation. That worked great for us. The dog's condition was even taken into account when choosing a seat (quiet corner)

Three of us spontaneously went to the restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere is very nice, the menu is large enough and the food was very good! The service is attentive and friendly.

In terms of quality, it is certainly the best restaurant in Geilenkirchen and the surrounding area. Great atmosphere, lovingly furnished and always very warm and delicious. We are still grateful to this day for the execution of our wedding and family celebrations.

An all-round successful evening. The food was simply excellent, the service was perfect and the conversations with the owner were very entertaining. In addition, the prices are right. Very fair and people are willing to pay more because the quality means they can expect a higher price.

You had to wait a long time for the drinks and what was ordered wasn't brought. Food served lukewarm, I would expect something different given the prices. At the end you can express your opinion, but the service and the owner/chef also get rude. On the positive side, the furnishings were very nice.

Wir sind jetzt schon zum wiederholten Male in der Kornmühle gewesen, weil es für uns zu einem der besten Restaurants in der Umgebung gehört. Aktuell planen wir nach einer erfolgreichen Weinverkostung dort nach unserer standesamtlichen Trauung Essen zu gehen und haben die wunderschöne Location für unsere kirchliche Sommerhochzeit gebucht. Das Essen schmeckt uns immer sehr lecker und wir schauen immer wieder gerne ein. Das Ambiente strahlt eine Wärme aus und wenn man sich für einige Dinge dort begeistert, dann kann man sie sogar kaufen. Der Service ist sehr engagiert, genau wie die Chefin und der Chef, die immer mal wieder gerne zum Tisch kommen und sich noch richtig Zeit für ihre Gäste nehmen. Unser Fazit ist, hier wird nicht das letzte Mal eine Familienfeier geplant werden.

Essen qualitativ sehr sehr gut, jeder Kunde wird zum Tisch begleitet. Der Chef erkundigt sich persönlich nach dem befinden und ob alles zur Zufriedenheit ist. Nettes und sehr Aufmerksames Personal. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, immer wieder gerne dort

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant , Personal und Eigentümer waren von Anfang an sehr nett und herzlich. Die Speisekarte ist sehr breit aufgestellt aber trotzdem ist alles gut aufeinander abgestimmt gewesen und alle Gerichte die wir bestellt haben waren sehr lecker. Würde ich sofort weiter empfehlen

Wir haben hier einen wundervollen Abend mit Freunden verbracht. Alles hat gepasst. Ein rundum perfektes Restauranterlebnis. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Das Essen war nicht nur super lecker sondern auch sehr ansehnlich angerichtet. Der Inhaber ist ein wundervoller Mensch, der mit Leib und Seele Gastronom ist.

Nach einem extrem langen Tag sind wir als Gruppe relativ spät ins Restaurant gekommen und wurden dort mit offenen Armen und sehr herzlich aufgenommen.Neben wirklich leckeren und besonderen Gerichten bei denen selbst das Ansehen schon Freude macht , gab es auch tolle Gespräche mit dem Inhaber, der uns standesgemäß in seinem Arbeitsoutfit am Tisch besuchte und uns als Fremde direkt mit tollen Gesprächen unterhielt und nur für uns länger geöffnet ließ. Fazit : grandioses Essen zu fairen Preisen , tolles Ambiente, super Personal und einen Gastronom wie man ihn sich wünscht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Danke

Schönes Ambiente, leckeres, außergewöhnliches Essen, freundliche Bedienung ... Punktabzug gibt's nur für die Preise ... Salate für über 20 € ohne Fleisch sind unangemessen.

Hier kann man sorgenfrei als Allergiker speisen. Glutenfreie Ernährung ist dort kein Problem!

Nach unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit sind wir in der Kornmühle Sonador eingekehrt, um uns und unsere Gäste auf der wunderschönen Dachterasse in herrlichem Ambiente bei Getränken und der namentlich passenden „Amor Tapas Platte“ verwöhnen zu lassen. Auch besondere Wünsche, wie z.B. glutenfreies Essen, - gesondertes Brot - wurden berücksichtigt! Alle waren begeistert von dem unglaublich leckerem, exzellentem Essen, dem Service sowie der wunderschönen Lokalität! ☺️ Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön an Arnd und Iris!!! ☺️🙏🏻

....verpasst nicht die gemütliche Lounge auf der Rückseite. Entspannt sitzen und eine Cocktail schlürfen, im Hintergrund rauscht die Wurm - das hat was.

Geilenkirchen ist eine Stadt ohne Stadt. Für alles muss man weg fahren . Zum Glück gibt es wenigstens die Kornmühle , da gibt es gutes Essen , keine TK Produkte , normale Menschen , das ist leider selten. Ich werde dort öfter hingehen . Verdiente 5 Sterne

Wie immer hat Arnd das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegrillt. Und die Bratkartoffeln passen - wenn es welche gibt - wirklich gut dazu.

Ein Highlight in Geilenkirchen , wo Gastro eigentlich ein Fremdwort ist. Super lecker , toll angerichtet, sympathische Inhaber , alles top !

Gestern Abend bestens verwöhnt worden. Beginnend bei der Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Inhaber und das Essen war wirklich richtig gut!! Klare Empfehlung.

Nice staff and good food. Ordered steak medium-rare but got medium to well done. This was fixed very fast and got a juicy medium-rare in 5 min after I told staff. Goulash soup was very tasty and desert too. A bit pricy.

Preis Leistung stimmt. Ist zwar etwas teurer dafür wird aber auch ordentlich was aufgetischt ,also komplett gerechtfertigt.
