Disappointing Service and Confusing Transaction My family and I recently visited Ristorante Capaccio (Geilenkirchen) and had a very unpleasant experience with the service, which compelled us to leave prematurely. We were a group of four people, and when only one person ordered food, with the other three opting for drinks, the waiter's attitude immediately shifted. The unfriendliness was palpable: he quickly and without a word removed the complimentary snack from our table. Throughout our short stay, the waiter demonstrated clear gestures of impatience, including repeatedly making folded-hand gestures while speaking to us rapidly, which made it difficult to understand his concerns or what was causing his haste. We felt compelled to leave, and did not finish our drinks. The final transaction was also concerning. The waiter demanded an amount for the incomplete order and insisted on an additional payment without providing any form of receipt. To other potential guests: I strongly advise you to gauge the mood and temper of the service staff before committing to a seating. Our experience was one of being treated improperly and rushed, and the non-transparent payment at the end was deeply unsatisfactory. We would not recommend this restaurant based on the poor level of customer service.

Hmm... a great restaurant where you can eat well and relax at the same time! The staff is always there for you when you need something at the table! The place is quite clean, and the entire staff shows respect for their dedication to serving customers! And let's not forget Mr. Matteo, who is a wonderful man, always with a smile on his face and ready to joke, no matter how hard the workday gets!

Wunderbares Essen: Kleine Karte - und ich wähle von der Tageskarte einen Fenchelsalat mit Calamaretti, dann Linguine Frutti di Mare und kann mein Glück nicht fassen: So gut, perfektes Handwerk und wunderschön angerichtete Teller. Dazu ein Chardonnay, offen, hervorragend gut und eben nicht das billige Zeug, das einem den Abend verdirbt. Liebenswürdiger Service! Und all diese Köstlichkeiten zu einem wirklich fairen Preis.... endlich mal ein Koch in der Küche ubd kein Maurer..... sardisches Brot...... mir kommen die Tränen, weil ich hier nicht ohne weiteres hinfahren kann.....

Your Penne all'arrabiata con olive e origano is a disgrace. For probably every Italian in the world, your interpretation of this dish is a disgrace. I haven't eaten something so tasteless in a long time. Fart dry. Not even a hint of mild spiciness, even though your menu says “spicy tomato sauce”. Oh yes, TOMATO SAUCE: I didn't see any of it between the noodles. Then the canned mushrooms baked with cheese. Honestly now? From a can? The mushrooms tasted like rubber. 😂😂😂 But: My friends' food looked good and tasted delicious. Veal liver was perfect. Guinea fowl with truffles excellent. Deer medallions really tasty. Conclusion: You should revise Penne all'arrabiata con olive e origano. Nobody at my table liked it.

We spent the evening here with three couples. The food was good 4 out of 6. Dessert was mostly no longer available. We only got drinks when we asked. In the end we just didn't say anything and didn't get any attention for a good 45 minutes.

I don't take any joy in giving a negative review, but this place is really bad. The pasta had zero flavor. The bread was hard and stale and mixed in with some weird 'Baked Lays' type of chips, also as stale as they could be. The server was nice but very slow and I had to remind her 5 different times. It's a shame because it seems like an ok Place from the outside.

An einem Samstagabend sollte man unbedingt hier reservieren. Nicht ohne Grund ist dieses italienische Restaurant in Geilenkirchen in der Nähe des Bahnhofs sehr beliebt. Die Bewirtung gibt sich sehr große Mühe den Gast zufrieden zu stellen und die Speisen sehen gut aus und sind sehr schmackhaft.

You should "bring a little time", which is unfortunately often dismissed these days as: slow service. Drink service can take a while. When it comes to eating, I find it more pleasant when you can't get 3 courses on the table in 45 minutes. If I want to go out for a good meal, I should also take the time to enjoy it. House wines good, bottled wines very good and at reasonable prices. (You have to try the Cannonau). All in all, 5 stars are probably appropriate; because there is definitely no better Italian in Geilenkirchen. Except when it comes to pizza. Unfortunately, that's "day-to-day" here - from good to "well".

The food tasted very mediocre and the portions were far too small. We're not big eaters and neither of us got full. When asked “if everything was good?” we complained about the small portions, to which there was no reaction whatsoever. Every pizzeria in the area is way better. Cannot recommend the restaurant to anyone!

There was always an outrageous comment when serving at the table, empty glasses were overlooked, as was our shouting. We had reserved a table for 8th. Unfortunately, 2 people didn't come. The older man, I thought he was the owner of the restaurant because of his behavior, should think about it... Unfortunately I won't be coming back because of his behavior... it's a shame

The food was very tasty, but the fish platter was disproportionately expensive. It was very stressful and the waiter was relatively alone. But he can't do more than work. In total we waited about 45 minutes for the starter and another 45 minutes for the main course.

Been there for the second time within a few weeks and was unfortunately disappointed again. Of course it can happen that something is forgotten. However, not admitting it is unprofessional. So I gave the restaurant another chance because the atmosphere was quite nice and the menu was generally interesting and varied. A daily menu dish was not available when the restaurant opened and was then somewhat reluctantly removed from the daily menu after I pointed it out. The medium rare steak overwhelmed the chef - not a crazy thing if you just put it away. But when the waiter tries to explain to me that this is an English steak and that you can just throw it on the grill again later for a minute, I doubt the restaurant's know-how.

Angenehmes Restaurant. Freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service Speisen seht schmackhaft. Leider dauerte es sehr lange bis wir Vorspeisen und später Hauptspeisen bekamen. Qualität sehr gut. Ich denke, dass das Personal heute vom großen Zuspruch überrascht waren.

The presentation was more promising than the taste delivered. The carpaccio, despite its name, lacked flavor. The lasagna was equally basic. I felt the experience didn't merit a tip. It was surprising to see the waitress visibly disappointed when I chose not to leave one.

Leider keine große Auswahl an Speisen, Kartoffeln waren noch roh. Preise im oberen Bereich. Hatte mich auf eine leckere Pizza gefreut,gab es aber nicht. Lasagne war trocken und recht geschmacklos. Schade.

Prima restaurant met vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel. We hadden geen reservering maar mochten toch plaat nemen nadat we hadden afgesproken binnen een uurtje weer weg te zijn. Dit was geen probleem en we werden snel geholpen zonder dat het haastig overkwam. Goed gegeten voor een nette prijs. Voldoende keuze op de kaart. Ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid voor de deur.

Das war nicht unser erster Besuch und bestimmt nicht unser letzter. Obwohl wir eine größere Anreise haben kommen wir gerne.

Italiaans restaurant net over de grens, super vriendelijk personeel. Eten is goed, aanbod vind ik persoonlijk niet zo ruim ( ze hebben hier geen pizza ). Kwaliteit van de producten is hoog, de porties erg klein. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding vind ik door de porties die ze serveren niet in verhouding. Er is een redelijke wijnkaart, de prijzen hier van zijn prima.

Wir haben Geilenkirchen nur besucht, um bei diesem Italiener zu spreisen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Den Kommentar des Herrn Josef Ayesh finde ich allerdings bösartig. Der Kommentar entspricht in keiner Weise den Tatsachen. Ich komme schon seit Jahren mit meiner Familie regelmäßig zum Essen . Die Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich und das Essen vorzüglich und sehr reichhaltig.

Essen und Service war gut. Das Restaurant ist zu voll...zu viele Tische und Plätze in einem kleinen Raum und dadurch bedingt ist es sehr laut. Von Gemütlichkeit,oder angenehmer Atmosphäre keine Spur. Schade.

Heerlijk eten en goede bediening

Die Gerichte sind hervorragend mit seltenen "Ausreissern". Sehr vielfältig für jeden Geschmack. Gute Weine und abwechslungsreiche Tageskarte mit sardischen Spezialitäten.

Wir sind seit 26 Jahren Stammgäste im Carpaccio und können jedem der gute Qualität und eine lecke italienische Küche sucht das Carpaccio sehr empfehlen. Hier wird alles frisch zubereitet in einem tollen Ambiente und mit gutem Service. Das Carpaccio ist keine Pizzeria sondern ein gehobenes italienisches Restaurant. Wer gutes Essen liebt ist im Cappuccino richtig.
