I cannot recommend this store in any way. Very unfriendly service and the food is just standard at best.
Therefore, I can unfortunately only advise against a visit.
Very friendly staff. Very good selection of tasty food and drinks of excellent quality. Very pleasant atmosphere both indoors and outdoors. Good price-performance ratio, especially with the lunch menu. More sophisticated audience. Very nice view of the Rhine. Well suited for family celebrations. Hygiene standards are adhered to. We are regular guests and have never been disappointed. Table reservation is recommended.
Amazing sushi, I’m from Hong Kong so I have pretty high standards too. Great pricing and every sushi was prepared with care. Very generous topping too each slice to rice ratio was amazing.
The Asahi was also really refreshing. Very reasonable pricing and nice to have a mix of white people sushi option and more traditional options.
Staff are also very professional. Chefs wore hat and mask to prevent hair and spit on food. 10/10 experience one of the best place in Düsseldorf for sushi that is affordable
I had dinner here with my daughter. The food is very tasty, but tends to be overly overdone. For example, a yellowtail could easily be replaced with another, more common fish and serve more substantial portions.
Overall, I found the prices unreasonably high for the quantity. If I spend almost €200 at a restaurant and then feel like I'm not full, something's wrong. That's unacceptable at this level. Hence the deduction.
Delicious bruschetta on the house, even if I didn't order it :))
Very nice and friendly atmosphere
Great Bolognese and good pizza
Seats for two people might be a bit tight for tall people
Very tasty food, top service and affordable prices. Parking spaces right in front of the door. Every last Friday of the month there is a pretty awesome pub quiz.
The En de Canon used to be much better!
Unfortunately, the cuisine has deteriorated considerably, we had goose leg, Viennese schnitzel and “Bretagne” tarte flambée.
The red cabbage for the goose leg was probably just from a jar, the potato salad for the Wiener schnitzel was probably from a bucket and tasteless, the tarte flambée arrived at the table cold.
Thanks to Britta, the service was great as always!
For the “higher standards” the food was rather subpar and too expensive.
I was there for the third time and was totally thrilled again. The food was super delicious. The waiter was very friendly and attentive.
The portion was more than enough.
It's ok, but the opening times are an absolute joke.
This means it is always very crowded and hectic.
Food is ok, I think the 2 course lunch deal is great.
The food was okay, but nothing that makes you say "wow, we have to go here again"
At first glance, service seems grumpy/bored/annoyed. But he was still very friendly and attentive.
The ambience...let's put it this way:
If it were a small pizzeria, I would have found it much better.
So it felt like it was too big an empty hall, you felt rather lost.
Not "we'll go out for a nice meal and then sit comfortably with wine and have a nice evening", but rather "we'll go out to eat because we're hungry and leave as soon as we're full"
