Well, Ethiopian food is not to everyone's taste. What we were offered here was authentic Ethiopian cuisine with a variety of interesting dishes that you don't have on your plate every day. The choice wasn't easy, so it's good that there is a "sample plate". You can choose the level of spiciness, so sensitive stomachs are also taken into account here. The food was incredibly tasty. You just have to like the owner, he is super friendly, calm and happy to explain the dishes. The ambience could be a bit more “Ethiopian” for me, but the place still has style. The prices are reasonable, not cheap, but not out of the ordinary either. As a tip: definitely try the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, I personally have never enjoyed such a chocolaty, full-bodied coffee. It's nice that breakfast (hopefully soon also on weekends) and lunch are also offered. If you want to try something different than the usual cuisine... definitely come here. We will definitely be visiting here more often from now on.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't worth the money, the service was totally chaotic and inefficient. Waiters are running around everywhere and you still wait 20 minutes to take your order. The furnishings and atmosphere are great, but the music is way too loud and the chairs are too deep and uncomfortable. All in all not worth the price

Update: still slow and overwhelmed. 5.20 euros for a fries without anything with a 15+ min wait. Old comment: much hyped, but not much more than simple fries in every stall.

It is always a pleasure to be a guest at RadissonBlu Conference. Service, ambience, smell, room facilities… everything makes my stay in Düsseldorf even better. I am especially grateful to the whole team because they are all beautiful people 🙏🏼

Disgraceful treatment of guests. We were shocked by the passive-aggressive tone of the waitress, which spoiled our appetite. We had dinner there with our family of seven (5:00 p.m. on November 27th, 2024). We asked the waitress if she had a drink recommendation for the children. She then replied coldly that she didn't “understand” us (remember, we have a migration background and a slight accent when we speak German). After we repeated the question three times, she said we should look at the map ourselves and then walked away. The whole integration completely shocked us. She completely lost her tone and was disrespectful to us as a family. Ironically, she also had an accent... We felt very uncomfortable and were about to leave the restaurant after this interaction. However, the children were hungry and we decided to stay one last time (never again!). I ask myself, how can you, Ms. Waitress, speak to us in such a snippy tone and condemn our German when you have an accent yourself? How would you have felt if we had asked you multiple times what you said to us? I hope your restaurant takes measures to prevent such discriminatory behavior.

Delicious currywurst, but sometimes rock-hard French fries. My impression: there were leftovers fried. I mentioned this when making the payment, but I couldn't really see any insight. The advice to just let me know straight away so that you can get new ones doesn't help me when I'm under time pressure and the wait for a fairly simple order seems relatively long. Too bad

Very nice employees and very customer friendly. Food is also really tasty. Would eat there again at any time.

Ich bin immer wieder gerne im Tigges. Das Essen ist super, die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist ein schönes, studentisches Ambiente im beliebten Stadtviertel Bilk.
