Great restaurant! I've been here several times and am always impressed by the friendly service and delicious food. The food always came quickly. They also have a special lunch menu, which is also highly recommended. In the evenings, you might have to wait, but you can also make a reservation.

Always delicious...solid, good food, no experiments, and the quality is consistently good.

Amazing all around! We were sat upstairs & outside in a private 1 table patio which was super nice. Gave us a button so we can call for service if we ever needed it. The service was so good and so fast. And the food was delicious. Such a great experience & refresher compared to our experience at Koi right down the street about an half hour earlier. Thank you Naniwa! I highly recommend!

Sushi sometimes a bit too soft, and rice too cooked. Excellent value for money at lunch, but I've never been there in the evening. Fast service - card payments only.

I thought there would be a lunch menu, but there wasn't. The miso soup before the meal was delicious with fried tofu and chunks of vegetables. The tuna bowl was also delicious. It was a decent portion. The fried chicken teriyaki was a little salty. I think it's been Germanized. There was some rice left, which wasn't bad. (And it was a little pricey.)

We spontaneously reserved a table for two and got one right away :) The atmosphere is very authentic. It's a Japanese sushi restaurant with all the flair it deserves, which I personally really like. The food itself is freshly prepared, varied, and delicious. Unfortunately, it took us a long time to reorder. But that shouldn't really detract from the experience. I highly recommend a visit.

Nice little restaurant next to a busy crossroad. We had a sushi menu, unagi, mixed sashimi and miso soup. Service was great and the quality of the produce fresh and tasty.

The best sushi I’ve ever tasted. It was fresh and delicious. Our server was very helpful and patient as we did not speak the language and needed help.

As not being a huge fan of Sushi, Naniwa made me one for sure. The extremely delicious selection made me want more. Especially the Vulcano Roll is out of this world. Our waitress (apologize for not taking her name🙏🏻) was super friendly and helpfull. Highly recomment for all Sushi lovers and not so much like me. I am a Naniwa Sushi lover now🥢🥡🍤❤️

It's a shame I don't live in Düsseldorf! I would definitely stop here again! The food is pleasantly seasoned and the portions are generously sized! Very friendly staff!

Naniwa Sushi & More in Düsseldorf serves fresh, tasty sushi with friendly service. I had sushi from the daily menu and edamame. The daily menu came with udon noodle soup. Prices are on the higher side but fair for the quality. A great spot for sushi lovers.

This is the first time I felt like I experienced a genuine sushi place. Small and cozy; you can see the sushi man preparing in the bar. The prices are accordingly to the quality of the sushi. The fish just has the best quality and freshness I’ve ever tried. I am happy I came across this place and I will definitely return!

Service was polite, fast, and communication was good. Unfortunately, the food ranged from good to inedible, or even almost spoiled. The salmon maki and nigiri were absolutely terrible. The chicken teriyaki was good. I'm writing this review 30 minutes later, and I already have a strange feeling in my stomach.

Went in for a quiet solo lunch. Was happy they spoke English!!! I ordered a large carafe of hot sake to enjoy with my meal. Had miso soup, which was very very good, like the best tasting miso soup I’ve ever had. I ordered the tuna sashimi and the toro nigiri and hamachi nigiri. The nigiri in particular was so special. The fish melted in my mouth, I loved it. Recommended!!

A small restaurant with a great list of menus and quality. It is a traditional Japanese restaurant from Osaka. The sushi quality is just superb. Fresh and high quality of fish with proper amount of fat. Sushi rice is well dan and small size. Wasabi paste is fresh and pungent. Excellent soy sauce quality to season your fish. Friendly service and amazingly fair price for the quality and service. Worth queuing in the rain and sunshine if you are is Düsseldorf.

Comfortable and casual, it's a little pricy but genuinely good Sushi. It's a rather casual place so you also don't need to dress up fancy, I managed to get in without a reservation without problems. I saw that if it's full, he just kindly asks you to wait around 10-15 minutes.

Amazing sushi, I’m from Hong Kong so I have pretty high standards too. Great pricing and every sushi was prepared with care. Very generous topping too each slice to rice ratio was amazing. The Asahi was also really refreshing. Very reasonable pricing and nice to have a mix of white people sushi option and more traditional options. Staff are also very professional. Chefs wore hat and mask to prevent hair and spit on food. 10/10 experience one of the best place in Düsseldorf for sushi that is affordable

During the week, in the evening, we got a place for two straight away without a reservation. In general you sit quite close to each other, you have to like that. There was nothing wrong with the service, the food was very good. I found the sushi with teriyaki chicken particularly tasty. I don't like raw fish and I'm always really happy when I can eat non-vegetarian sushi. Nowhere else have I enjoyed the sushi with chicken as much as I did here, that really has to be emphasized!

On a weekend in Düsseldorf we decided to eat there for lunch when we arrived. We didn't have a reservation but we were able to get a table despite the crowds. The service is very fast but I suppose that's to free the tables quickly enough. The food is excellent, everything is fresh.

NaNiWa is and remains one of the best sushi restaurants in Düsseldorf! We have enjoyed coming here for many years and it is always a highlight. The sushi is simply perfect – fresh, authentic and of the best quality. The staff is exceptionally friendly, warm and always attentive. A big plus for us: our dog Ben is also welcome here, which makes the visit even more relaxing and enjoyable. The price-performance ratio is absolutely harmonious, and we appreciate the consistently high quality and the great service. The Naniwa is small, but all the more comfortable. The intimate atmosphere creates a special atmosphere. The focus is clearly on the quality of the food, and you can taste it too! The fish is incredibly fresh and the preparation is perfect. I think the price is appropriate for the quality. The only point of criticism: There should be more vegetarian and vegan alternatives.

Great sashimi and food. We were here last year and came back this year for the sashimi. However, I only give 3 stars and would like to point out to the operators again about the cold chain and storage of raw fish. Because this time I was taken to the hospital in the ambulance in the evening because of diarrhea, nausea and a rash. Diagnosis: food poisoning/fish poisoning...

No tan popular como su casa hermana Ramen al otro lado de la calle pero en mi opinión subestimado. El sushi es muy bueno, la calidad del precio es de primera y el servicio es genial. Estar subestimado trae suerte a cualquiera que desee comer aquí porque el tiempo de espera para una mesa no es tan largo.

Lunch set L1, I came in right after the store opened, and when I made a quick request, they responded immediately without making a single unpleasant face. This sense of trust is ironclad. I would like to thank the person who made the sushi at the counter for their consideration. It was a very luxurious lunch with udon, nigiri, and fried chicken made with shiitake mushroom and bonito flakes. The volume was also just right. With such quality, this price is also good for your pocket. In Berlin, where we live, many long-established Japanese restaurants with a downtown atmosphere have closed, and perhaps due to the Japanese food boom, the food looks fashionable and quite expensive, so I personally would be grateful if more and more restaurants opened in Düsseldorf. .

Food was quite ok. Didn’t expect much because it was quite cheaper than the usual 2 Japanese we usually go.

Very high quality and freshness of the fish. Had tuna Don - it was super tasty and tender as butter. It melted in your mouth! That's exactly how it should be Price high but okay We had the food and the miso soup served in just a few minutes. Gladly again !

Sushi is one of the best. Salmon is the best that I’ve ever eaten. I would recommend to reserve a table, we got here without reservation, and waited for about 25 minutes to get in. If you love salmon then you should be here for sure.

A little insider tip in Düsseldorf when all the restaurants on Immermannstrasse are packed. The selection is small but everything you need is there. The restaurant is also small but cozy. Staff nice and quick. Only recommended!

One of the best sushi I've ever eaten in Germany. Very authentic. We were there on Japan Day and luckily we only had to queue briefly because there were two of us. (Reservations are not possible on Saturdays) The food came relatively quickly. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back next time we visit Düsseldorf! Culinary highlight from our city trip!

We are tourists in Dusseldorf and I suddenly crave for sushi. This place is small yet cozy. They have friendly staff and a good sushi chef. We are more than satisfied with the quality of the fish we got specially the octopus sashimi (tako). The set menu was price-worthy. And I love the side dishes that we ordered. Warmly recommend. Ps not that small though, coz baby prams could fit and they have a second floor.

Unfortunately, I didn't reserve a table, but the waitress was kind and very courteous in offering me a seat. The waitresses were all extremely nice and helpful, the food was very good, and an explicit compliment to the sushi master. Highly recommended, but to be on the safe side it's better to make a reservation.

It's really delicious here. The lunch menu is good. But the chair is too small,,

I called for a reservation and they couldn’t even talk any word in German nor in English. The guy said the whole time “nummer nummer” without letting me giving my name to close the reservation. The day of the reservation they didn’t even had taken the name so we didn’t have any table and we couldn’t have dinner. Worst reservation service ever.

The service from the front desk lady was terrible. Almost never felt so offended in a restaurant before. No smile, not willing to give more explanation on the menu , rude attitude and rushed customer. I paid 36 euro for my meal. With this price, I would say it was a terrible dinning experience. The rest of the staff were good though

The food is truly delicious here, and I can see why the rating is so high. However, the food isn't worth the very odd service, in my opinion. We waited in line for an hour for dinner, as we tried to get a reservation and none were available. When we came in, they quickly took our order. However when I asked for another drink after we had received our food, I was told that they were closing in a couple of minutes and so I could only get a drink if I could "drink fast." Important note is that we'd been inside the restaurant for less than an hour at this point. I assured them I would drink fast and was then told they actually couldn't serve any more drinks. Seems odd when the restaurant was still full of people and there was a drinks fridge right there. They also started clearing dishes that still had food on them, which we weren't finished eating, and we had to ask them to wait. Next time, I'll choose a different Japanese offering on Immermanstrasse!

Eine Reservierung würde ich empfehlen, diese hat problemlos am Telefon geklappt. Der erste Eindruck schon am Telefon war super. Das Sushi und die Misosuppe waren super lecker. Der Service war sehr nett und auch das Bezahlen hat reibungslos geklappt. Ein klares hier komme ich gerne nochmal hin.
