How about updating your opening hours? I was in front of the store and it was closed… The trip was completely wasted.

The food was already cold when it arrived. We were told that delivery would take half an hour. In the end, the food arrived two hours late. The drink was missing.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The food arrived after two hours and was cold. Furthermore, the delivery driver addressed us informally, which I find completely unprofessional when ordering food. I definitely cannot recommend this service or quality.

Truly one of the best smash burgers around, but the service could be improved... I'm allergic to onions and tomatoes, and I always get one of those two things on my burger (even though I mention it every time). But otherwise, as I said, top quality and taste!! Still recommended.

We were here for the first time yesterday, and we were absolutely shocked at how good it was! The Royal Smash Burger was like a McDonald's cheeseburger, only much better in every way. The drip was an absolute hit; that's truly something special for fast food. The fries were perfectly crispy, and one portion was easily enough for the two of us.

We had the drip burger, incredibly tasty, very juicy, and truly amazing. The fries were excellent. Very friendly service. The ambiance wasn't that great, but it was okay. 4.5 stars for the price. 5 stars overall.

Down to the nitty-gritty. The burger wasn't overly topped and was really firm. The meat, which isn't perfectly round, is a testament to true craftsmanship. The first bite... Wow! This combination of bread, fresh salad, delicious sauce, and beef is amazing. It's truly awesome (sorry for the expression). I've eaten and tried burgers many times before. But since I was at Take the Food, I realized I've never eaten a real burger in my life. The fries were also very good. Some are fluffier, others have a bit more bite. That's exactly how fries should be. Admittedly, for my taste, they could have used a bit more salt. But that's a matter of taste. The place is very clean. I think if they prepared the food on the floor, it wouldn't affect hygiene. Of course they don't. A super clean work area and a girl who washed and sanitized her hands twice during my visit. So, you've been to MC Don**** or Burgerk*** and you can talk about burgers? WRONG! Come here for a real burger, then we'll talk more, folks. The girl who prepared the food and the taste experience deserve 5 out of 5 stars from me and are a guest who will be back. DESERVED 5 out of 5 STARS! Small criticism: It would be great if you also offered Paulana Spezi with the drinks.

Extremely disappointing! Never again. I placed my order at 10:00 PM – by 2:00 AM, it still hadn't arrived! I called several times, and each time I was given a different excuse: "The driver is on the way," "it'll be right there," "it might have been dropped off somewhere else," etc. In the end, no one could give me a clear answer. The employee seemed overwhelmed and apparently didn't even know what was going on. Conclusion: After waiting for four hours, I still didn't receive a delivery. Zero reliability, no apology, no solution – simply an imposition. Absolutely not recommended!

Yes, it had arrived, and not just been prepared after 1.5 hours! We then waited another half hour. In total, we waited over 2 hours. We then contacted the store again and encountered even more extremely poor customer service. After we explained the delay and the barely lukewarm food, we were asked, "I don't know where you grew up, but we don't do things like that here." Horrible.

We've been really happy with the restaurant chain "Take - the good food" over the years, but our last order was quite disappointing. 1) The Uber Eats app showed that delivery would take 60-90 minutes. I called the restaurant almost exactly 90 minutes after placing the order and asked about the status. I received a rather rude response that the order was still at the restaurant and would be delivered to me soon. I then called again half an hour later because the order still hadn't arrived. At that point, it had already been over 120 minutes since my order was placed. This time, they said my order was on its way and I should expect an order to arrive after 90 minutes. Yes, I'm aware that it was stated that the food would take approximately 60-90 minutes to arrive. However, it's not justifiable that I have to expect it to arrive after 2:15 hours – that's 45 minutes. Minutes longer than agreed. 2) The food was absolutely inedible. The meat was quite cold, but the vegetables were warm and soggy. The fries were hard and dry. I'm very sorry that I have to write a bad review here, as we were mostly satisfied with the food. Nevertheless, the quality and service were a disaster.

The service is top the atmosphere is good and cosy, the food is the problem, I saw a video saying this is the best smash burger in nrw, this statement is definitely not true, the meat is overly crusty and salty, the special sauce in my opinion is just mayo with a mix of another flavour, HOWEVER, the potato isnt bad, and the best thing they have is the pepsi its top notch!! I didnt try the ribeye burger, NOTE!!!! The owners are super nice people this review doesnt reflect on everything, its only my opinion and I hope they do better for their business..

The food was really amazing and quality of meat is awesome and of course halal so overall was great and worth the wait. The place is a little bit little so large groups can’t go there.

We were in the store on Friday and absolutely loved it! We had a classic burger and the drip burger with beef rib. Both tasted excellent. We were particularly impressed by the Drip Burger: The beef rib was so tender that the bone could be pulled out easily and without leaving any meat residue, a real sign of quality! The staff was also super friendly and attentive. Overall, a completely successful experience. We'll definitely be back!

Take The Good Food has very solid smashed burgers. They taste pretty good. Sometimes too little salt, sometimes too much salt - the consistency in salting could be better. Although it has to be said, it's been quite a long time since I was there. The atmosphere is like a food truck in the parking lot, but you get decent food. The fries were good too. The food is also Halal.

The guy at the checkout is very unfriendly, plays solitaire when taking and holding the order. If I didn't want an onion on a burger then everyone was left without it (all 5). Map unmanageable, individual price of the burgers 14€ as a menu + 5€!! Way too overpriced it's worth 0, every second Smash Burger shop can do at least the same thing. The “steak” burger had more fat than meat. The fries were so salty that they burned. The burgers are then put into the bag without being packaged and it is stapled shut! And the other employees loudly follow people and children after they leave!!! Not recommended.

The tables are dirty, the toilet is a disaster and there is a really unpleasant smell in the hallway that makes you want to leave the store quickly. Even though it is a burger shop there was no difference to McDonald's so the size and taste was the same as Burger King. You should have chosen a different bread that would be more suitable for a burger

We had the drip burger on the menu. You have to differentiate here - the normal fries weren't convincing. They were too fatty, too thin and therefore were not eaten. The sweet potato fries, on the other hand, were delicious and just right. The star - the burger: it was received with varying degrees of success. I really enjoyed it as the meat was juicy and tender. The other person didn't like it that much because he saw the meat as more like potatoes and sauce and he preferred the classic burgee.

I would really recommend him to anyone. (I would eat it every day, but unfortunately that's not possible because of the price, which is justified.)

I had specially ordered from Lieferando with a specified pickup time. I was there before the specified time and shortly afterwards I was told that the order was ready for pickup. However, the employee then informed me that the order would not be prepared until you had reported there. Then why are there pick-up times? I won't be ordering there anymore

Burger tasted very tasty, but quite small. Fries unfortunately below average, looked like very old fat had been used. I have nothing against crispy fries, but they were just hard and didn't taste particularly good either. And since the side dish is almost as important to me as the "main meal", unfortunately only 3 stars. With better fries, definitely 4 stars with potential for 5.

The food has potential. The man who took our order was the epitome of rude. He had absolutely no desire to do his job, and it showed. Aside from that, our trays were stolen while we were still eating, which I personally find extremely rude and annoying. On top of that, you had the feeling you were being rushed. Even though the food wasn't bad, the service and ambiance definitely left a lot to be desired!

I ordered from TAKE THE GOOD FOOD for the first time today! They were one of the tastiest burgers I've ever eaten. The food was delivered warm. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned! However, they could still improve the delivery time. I'm still not deducting a star for that! Thanks to the whole team

Very disappointing! I recently went to Take The Good Food and I have to say it was a very bad experience. We had to wait forever before we could even order. The store was completely overcrowded and there was hardly any space to feel comfortable. The customer service was very rude. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting over an hour, maybe even longer. The food came an hour later, even though I was fasting during Ramadan. The fries were old and the food as a whole just didn't taste good. It was really disappointing and I definitely won't be back.

The food is really tasty, I'll be back again

The burger was very tasty. The fries had an excessive amount of salt, so 95% was returned. The coleslaw was served in a pleated pouch (see picture). My complaint was not addressed and certainly no one apologized. The ambience of a small table and 3 chairs was dirty and not comfortable at all. I can't understand all the videos on Instagram and TikTok and I wonder where they ate like that?!

Total disgrace. Over 3!!! I waited hours for my food, called 3 times and no one answered and then it was simply marked as delivered even though NOTHING arrived. This is the 4th time this has happened and also the very last time. The last few times it came after 2-3 hours, but now it just didn't come at all. The burgers are tasty, but it's not worth the wait. We then ordered from McDonald’s and it was there in 30 minutes. Not recommended and apparently I'm not the only person this happens to. You seem to have a really organized and nice team

Unfortunately, the shop is very small and the music is usually too loud - eating on site is not recommended as the young kiddies can't even close the door properly.
