We spent hours looking for a local restaurant (something we like when we are on holiday). This restaurant was 100% perfect. Nice place, good food and very sweet staff, which apparently has been a family business for 35 years. If you are looking for something local, then this is definitely recommended! The essence was very good, and thanks for taking care of us. Greetings from the Netherlands.

We were the first guests at 4:30 p.m. There were very tasty turkey schnitzels with mushroom frames and fried potatoes. Prices are really cheap. Service very accommodating.

One of the really good shops in Düsseldorf. Familiar, friendly, good portions at an attractive price. When the weather is nice, you can watch the goings-on in the glass-enclosed beer garden. Suitable for veggies.

We were coming from the Capitol Theater and wanted to grab something to eat before heading home. We come from further away and was looking for a restaurant in the area. I found the narrow belly! Tried to call, unfortunately without success. So we went there, no problem thanks to the navigation system in Düsseldorf. When we arrived at Schmalbauch, we were welcomed by a very nice gentleman who tried very hard to organize a table for us. I forgot to mention, it's New Year's Eve, around 6:30 p.m.! We were seated at a free table and were able to eat something. The food was very, very tasty. The service was very nice and friendly despite the crowds. We know it differently in our area... An all-round successful service from ordering to paying! We would come back at any time if we were in Düsseldorf again. Can only be recommended!!!

Friendly welcome, nice service, very tasty gyros and the souvlaki tender and pink. And the portion is more than enough! What more could you want? I just can't get used to the Altbier...😜But even that was one of the better ones. Very happy again!

Nice atmosphere, simple but decent food and delicious Füchschen Alt. It's still the same as 08/23. As a little treat, a well-made winter terrace with large heaters and wind protection all around. Hasn't changed. Everything is fine as of 10/24.

Super tasty and with a good portion size. The memory card is not too huge, so everything can be cooked fresh. One of our next visits to Düsseldorf will definitely take us there again.

Very misleading name, the only thing you don't get with a narrow belly is a narrow stomach. But you could rename the location to Vollbauch. You should think about it. I didn't like the side salad for my narrow stomach either. Gyros and beer, on the other hand, were very tasty. Extremely good service, it was a pleasure. It is not possible to add tips with a card, which means that in some cases it is not possible to leave a tip for large bills. It's a shame about the service!!!

Our regulars’ bar! Great shop, delicious Füchschen Alt and very good hearty food. Gyro platters and the schnitzels with fries are always super tasty. We've been coming here for years and feel very comfortable. The long-standing permanent staff including the owner family also contribute to this. Highly recommended! We hope for many more years together...

A beautifully decorated old restaurant. Füchschen in the bar, delicious Greek specialties but also good bourgeois cuisine. Or just enjoy a few glasses. Very friendly staff, from the boss to the employees. Definitely recommended, large outdoor area with sun protection.

Friendly family owners, nice pub atmosphere, friendly staff and Füchschen, the best Alt. That's what makes the place special. Certainly the best pub in Flingern. The food is also okay, there are classics and standard Greek dishes, prices and quality are good, although not 5 stars. Nevertheless: a place to be.....

Well-attended restaurant. The beef liver could have been fried a little more and the yogurt dressing for the salad wasn't to my liking. The fried potatoes, on the other hand, were great. The service was very good and quick, there was never an empty glass on the table. Unfortunately it was also very loud. Of course, that's up to us guests, because everyone has something to tell. I would definitely go to the restaurant recommend further.

Hello, we wanted to thank Spiro and his team and also his family for the great New Year's Eve celebration 2023. It was a really great evening or night into the new year and everyone had a lot of fun. Spiro and his family knew how to break the ice, starting with Greek dance performances and then getting people onto the dance floor with good music (there was something for everyone 👍). The whole evening had something informal and light about it. 👍You just had to dance along and celebrate. I would also like to once again praise the entire team, which is always very friendly and well organized, even when it is stressful. We are a fan of yours and if you don't know you, you're missing out.👍👍👍👍👍

Haben drinnen gesessen. Für meinen Geschmack zu laut. Im Sommer draußen ist schöner

Es war sehr lecker und locker. Schöne Atmosphäre. Das Essen ist viel und wirklich zum super Preis zu haben. Besonders empfehlenswert: das Tzatziki. Das hatten wir zur Vorspeise genauso wie den gebratenen Schafskäse. 😋

Trotz reservierte Tische, für die Weihnachtsfeier, noch einen bekommen🙂 Dazu noch lecker gegessen...

Habe eben parallel zu dieser Bewertung zwei Bilder hochgeladen: Eines war lecker Grünkohl und das zweite ein Jägerschnitzel, wie ich es noch nicht erlebt habe. HAMMER!!! Ich denke, die Bilder sprechen für sich und ich freue mich immer wieder, hier mit meiner Familie einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Immer wieder gern. 🙂

Wir waren begeistert! Tolles Kneipenflair mit lieben Menschen und sehr guter Küche. Hier fühlt man sich absolut wohl, man ist als Gast nicht lästig sondern wird mit viel Freundlichkeit bedient. Haben hier zum ersten Mal ein Alt bestellt und was soll ich sagen… es blieb nicht bei einem. Das griechische Essen war fabelhaft. Danke für den unvergesslichen Abend bei unserem Kurztrip in Düsseldorf!

Eine schöne geräumige Gaststätte mit einem Außenbereich davor. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer gut drauf und Bestellungen gehen zügig. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei zu moderaten Preisen. Also alles gute Gründe für das nächste Mal.

Ein super Restaurant, super freundliches Personal. Sobald wie das Lokal betreten, wissen sie schon was wir haben wollen (Stammgäste). Einfach Top Lokal. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und alle mega freundlich und zuvorkommend . Verdiente 5/5 ⭐

Das Schmalbauch hatte sicherlich einen sehr guten Innenarchitekten. Alles ist sehr harmonisch und schön ausgeleuchtet und eingerichtet. Das man die alte Theke gerettet hat, hat uns gefreut. Das Essen ist normales griechisches Pommesbuden-Niveau. Nicht schlecht aber auch nichts besonderes, keine besondere Deko auf dem Teller oder so. Ziemlich lieblos. Dafür etwas teuer. Das Personal ist sehr flink und das Bier wird wie im Brauhaus ruckzuck gebracht. Leider aber ist dem Personal aber Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft eher weniger wichtig. Es geht nur um das befördern der Nahrung zum Gast. Die restliche Zeit wird zum Fußball schauen genutzt. Insgesamt fand ich die Mischung aus griechischer Pommesbude in schickem Ambiente mit Köbes-Charme etwas seltsam. Ich glaube wir kommen nicht wieder.

Bin jede Woche mindestens 1 mal hier, ehrliches Essen für ehrliches Geld, lecker Alt vom Faß, sehr nette Inhaber und super Atmosphäre. Kein Schickimicki , ich liebe es !

Gutes Essen und auch angemessen vom Preis. Kann ich nur empfehlen auch zum Mittagessen.

Wir saßen drinnen. Das Essen (Gyros und Souvlaki) war geschmacklich super und die Portion riesig. Der Kellner war zwar super nett, aber wir haben leider sehr viel Zeit damit verbracht zu warten. Wir mussten den Kellner mehrfach zu uns rufen, anstatt dass er von sich aus kommt. Drinnen waren nur ein paar Tische besetzt. Draußen war’s auch nicht viel los. Wir sind nach zwei Runden gegangen sind.

Eine Gaststätte mit viel Atmosphäre, ein Inhaber der immer da ist und sich um seine Gäste „kümmert“ und viel in sein Ladenlokal investiert. Tolles Personal und nette Gäste in allen Altersklassen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen reichlich. Ein toller Biergarten der wegen dem Autoverkehr teilweise sehr laut war. Ich würde dort aber wieder hingehen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal dort und hatte ein lecker Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und Majo. Davor haben wir uns zu dritt die Vorspeisenplatte geteilt. Sie bestand hauptsächlich aus drei Dips, die alle sehr lecker waren. Auch das Brot dazu war super. Außerdem gab es eingelegte Weinblätter, Schafskäse, Tomaten, Oliven und Peperoni. Dazu ein paar leckere Füchschen Alt, was will man mehr?! Wir saßen draußen, wo ist trotz Nähe zur Straße ruhig und angenehm war, nur die Bierbänke waren auf Dauer doch recht hart, so ohne Kissen. Die Bedienung hatte den bekannten rauen Düsseldorfer Köbes-Ton, war aber nicht unfreundlich. Preislich ist die Location auch noch recht angenehm angesichts der explodierenden Restaurantpreise. Ich war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort!

Lockere Atmosphäre und aufmerksame Kellner, eine gute Speisekarte und leckeres Essen. Wir sind zufrieden und satt nach Hause gegangen. Preis/ Leistung hat uns gefallen wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
