The ambiance alone is a real eye-catcher: an old hall with an impressive mining history, lovingly restored while preserving its original character. The blend of industrial charm and cozy furnishings creates an atmosphere that immediately invites you to linger. The team there is incredibly welcoming. From the moment you enter, you feel like a welcome guest rather than a random visitor. The service was attentive, humorous, and genuine. You can tell that the people working here enjoy what they do. This hospitality made the whole evening special. An absolute highlight was the homemade cucumber and lemon lemonade – wonderfully refreshing, with a sophisticated twist that perfectly complemented the meal. The menu is well-thought-out, varied, and offers something for every taste. And all at truly fair prices, a definite plus these days. We had an all-around wonderful evening, with great food, engaging conversations, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Anyone looking for a place where history meets culinary delights will find more than they're looking for at the Eduard Restaurant. There's also ample parking nearby. In conclusion: A visit here is doubly worthwhile – for the palate and for the soul.

Today we spontaneously decided to try this restaurant because we liked the selection of dishes and the prices. We sat in the small winter garden, which was nicely and functionally furnished. I think it's important to have a salt and pepper mill. These looked very elegant. We treated ourselves to soup beforehand, chicken soup and beef soup. Both tasted very good and homemade. The friendly owner later confirmed this to us. The 2 schnitzels per person with the medium hot cream sauce were crispy and very tasty. Thick fries and croquettes were an ideal complement. The side salad that was brought in advance was fresh and had a very pleasant dressing. 2 meals with 4 drinks for 50 euros is simply rare to find these days given the quality. We would love to come back

Edit: Unfortunately it's a lot slower...orders take forever (even at normal times), something is always done wrong despite the information and the portions are also smaller. Quality also suffered as a result, for example pizza rolls were very crumbly and dark. It's a real shame!! Best supplier, Italian in the area. Super tasty, both pasta dishes of various kinds and pizza. Service was also 1A, really nice and warm. We have ordered or picked up here several times. Always been very good. 🫶🏻 you were the main supplier during the move 😅

Service very unfriendly. We had two soups. Wanted to order soups again but said they were out. But that wasn't true.

A small village pub where you can also have good food. A small family celebration is no problem here either. 20 people fit easily... Service is good, drinks and food are home-style
